🔥 FEATURE FRIDAY 🔥⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ “When Lucy asked if she could feature me I politely declined. I told her when I made a little more progress she could and you all know what she did with that. She made me commit to it, write it down, and when I got to this weight she would be sending me a message to stick with what I promised. So here we are. ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ I’m 53lbs down and while I’m still 10lbs away from my goal weight I’m actually in love with the body I am in right now. I never thought I’d say that so this is huge for me. ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ I’m so grateful that I get to wake up and use my body to push myself mentally and physically. It’s all in the mindset people! Repeat after me: I can do this.⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ I’ve just finished my second 8-week program with @dunnebells_ and can’t stop talking about how obsessed I am with everything this program offers. I’ve been able to eat my favourite muffins, still enjoy Chinese food every weekend and I’m slowly getting better at avoiding the scale to measure my results. Fantastic post by @kimschlagfitness I could not have said it better myself! - I’ve successfully used these 3 simple, yet effective tips in my own weight loss and with multiple coaching clients. This works! ・・・ Original Post by @kimschlagfitness When it comes down to it fat loss is a matter of eating fewer calories than your body needs to maintain it’s current weight. There’s no way around it, BUT....there are lots of ways to make that easier. Here are three: - 1️⃣ Eat the same foods. Find foods that enable you to hit your calorie & protein targets, that keep you full, and that you enjoy, and then stick with them. Have 1-2 “go-to” breakfast and lunch options and 5-6 “go-to” dinner options. Keep your kitchen stocked with these items. That’s not to say you have to be rigid and only eat these foods. If you want something else that meets the same criteria, go for it, but having these go-to meals can prevent a lot of last minute calorie bomb decisions when you’re just too rushed or tired to come up with a good option. - 2️⃣ Have a Never Miss Twice plan: If one meal is higher in calories or even completely off the rails, no worry. Just have a plan that the next meal or snack is right back on track. No guilt, or stress. The impact of one meal on your progress is minimal, unless it sets you off on a spiral of bad decisions afterwards. That’s where this plan comes in handy👍 - 3️⃣Make it as convenient as possible. There are so many convenient food options that can help you meet your goals. Use them! Here’s my shortlist: Rotisserie Chicken, precooked frozen chicken, frozen, steamable vegetables, tuna packs, single serve Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, pre-sliced vegetables, protein bars, pre-made protein shakes, microwaveable rice/potatoes. - Fat loss isn’t easy, hopefully these ideas will help make it a bit simpler for you💪💕 . . . . . . #fatlosstips #fatlossgoals #weightlossideas #nutritiontip #howtolosefat #howyoloseweight #iifymacros #fatlosscoach #mindlesseating #fatlossplan #macrocoach (at Santa Clara, California)

Real talk. You lose excess weight and fat in the kitchen. You build muscle with iron. Follow her 👉🏽 @eve_fitchick ・・・ You can’t pick and choose where you lose fat. It comes on where it wants to and comes off where it wants to. If you have problem areas, you can’t just focus on them. You have to lose weight and burn fat overall and work on your entire body. You can definitely do isolation and target exercises to help add muscle and increase circulation to the areas where you have more fat and cellulite but nutrition is usually where the solution lies. Eating surplus calories causes weight and fat gain. You must eat in a deficit to lose. You lose weight in the kitchen and get fit in the gym. Whatever the topic of conversation in the office, Dave has an opinion. And he'll usually bore you to death with it. . And when it comes to nutrition, Dave doesn't believe a calorie deficit. He's read on some website that it's all to do with hormones and the types of foods you eat. Nothing to do with the volume of food you eat. . He comes across as having quite a good argument. BUT... . Dave is a moron. And Dave hasn't got a clue what he's talking about. Because every ounce of credible scientific research shows that a calorie deficit is the only true way of achieving weight / fat loss. . So don't listen to Dave. Listen to science.
