Reminder that transmascs who are very feminine, transfems who are very masculine, and non-binary people who aren’t androgynous at all still deserve their pronouns to be respected.

Presentation does not equal pronouns or gender identity, and this especially goes for people who choose to be gender non-conforming.

Shadow, the cat (Azriel x Reader)

This is based on my headcannon that Modern!au Az would have a black cat named Shadow, who is a cuddler.

The fire in the hearth was burning bright as the hours turned cold. You had just gotten in from your 24-hour shift as a nurse, and you were looking for your boyfriend. The air was stagnant, with nothing but your breath to be heard. You know that he would probably be in the living room watching TV, but there was no sound coming from there.

As you make your way to the living room, you hear a light vibration noise. Maybe he's getting a call on his phone or something. You turn the corner and find the most wholesome sight you can. Your boyfriend, Azriel, cuddled on the couch with a book resting in his lap. But as you veer closer, you notice a lump of black nestled onto his chest. A sweet kitten resting there in between his pecs. It was the cutest sight you had ever seen.

You drop your bag and kneel on the ground next to the couch. As you get to eye level with the kitten, you see it yawn as it wakes up. You pet its head before Azriel starts to stir. He always knew when you were around.

And that is how you found him on many occasions after that day. Cuddled up with his kitten, Shadow, who was the biggest cuddle bug there ever was, besides him, of course.

Ever since the accident, Danny couldn’t stop speaking in this strange language that sounded like glaciers cracking and thunder booming and fire popping. Unable to speak English, he stays silent as long as he can.

Until one day his parents were ranting their hatred towards Phantom in front of his face and he just couldn’t take it anymore, so he snapped at them about how Phantom is just trying his best and they should leave him alone, though not in English.
