Now that I’m older I do realize how sad it all is for London. I remember when her dad didn’t make her birthday or the daddy daughter dance and Moesby found her crying in the closet so he danced with her instead. I Also remember when Maddie let London stay with her when her dad went temporarily bankrupt and her rich friends abandoned her. He (Moesby) practically raised her.

My heart shattered when Moesby told her to call him anytime and she calls him five feet away telling him she’s gonna miss him on the last episode.

I honestly would have loved to see a spin off of Maddie and London as young adults trying to navigate the world to be honest. They could have been roommates and I definitely would have watched it

Also that “yay me” she does makes me realize that that’s maybe her way of pushing through and not really having people to pat her on the back through life. It’s probably her only way of self reassurance too☹️

Aang vs Zack Martin

I mentioned the Zack/Maddie relationship in a previous post and now my Suite Life nostalgia is coming back.

Bryke should have given Aang the same kind of development Zack Martin got.

Katara is Aang's Maddie. She's the pretty older girl whom Zack gets a huge crush on when he first sees her. Like Katara, she plays a nurturing role for Zack by being his babysitter. Like Kataang, we see Zack/Maddie have sweet moments together. Maddie's 16th birthday episode is still one of the cutest episodes ever. But like Katara, Maddie shows interest in boys her age or older.

Meng is Aang's Max. The girl Aang's age or younger who has an unreciprocated crush on him. This girl is not conventionally attractive due to not hitting puberty yet, being a tomboy, lacking confidence etc. The girl ultimately learns to move on from her crush.

Aang needed a Maya. Someone who he needed to prove himself to. Someone who would not put him on a pedestal for being the avatar. Someone to challenge him and motivate him to become a worthy man. Someone who would become more than just a dream girl but a partner to compromise with.

Aang's Maya could have been Toph. Maybe a new character would be needed. But Katara could not be Aang's Maya. Katara is Maddie, the boyhood crush, who is idealized and pined over. The girl who coddles him and tries to spare his feelings. Part of Aang's journey in becoming a young man, like Zack's, should have been to let go of that crush. Sadly, this never happened for Aang and Bryke has shown us in the comics and LOK what a total disaster this was.

erm um he is a secret agent and has to do very morally questionable things because of that also he grew up in an abusive household with a twin brother who he had to leave behind and in order to escape but he was basically given no choice in that and his thought his brother is safe somewhere keeps him going and stuff and this is relevant to his faith because throughout the game its unclear how serious hes being but he does truly want to believe in god. when he gets super mega depressed he does not anymore though. also he crossdresses a nun and its awesome hes so super silly and you should let him in this battle please and thank you

im normal about his catholicism i promise. anyways hes like. his faith is like the thing anchoring him to earth since he was a kid its the only thing keeping him slightly sane because his life is so fucked up. its like the only thing he can cling into that is always certain. also jesus taught him how to code so i think thats pretty cool. he IS the kind of guy to say "jesus may forgive you . but i wont" and just shoot you in the face. hes just getting you to judgement faster its fine

He’s very silly about his religion, dressed up as a nun once. I can’t think of Catholicism without thinking of that fucking nun cg he’s invaded my brain. His baptismal name (Luciel) is literally the name of the devil. I love him so much

what is love? that episode of 'suite life of zack and cody' where they all think muriel's old flame hot pepper's left treasure in the hotel so they all try to find it and think they do after an explosion but it was just the back of an atm so they give up only for muriel to make an offhand comment about her getting a necklace from peppers that she couldn't unlock so they smash it thinking they'll find a clue to the money only for them to find a message that "dear muriel you are my greatest treasure."

Ducktales head canon for the day. Huey and Maddie Fitzpatrick from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody are so alike. They both love hard work and order. Both love the environment and nature. Also can be very witty when they want to be. I’m not sure that Huey would be working at a candy counter like her since he said he can get addicted to sugar but maybe a counter that sells Junior Woodchuck supplies and guidebooks, or something like that. Also it would have been hilarious to see Huey and Louie switch places like Maddie and London did in that alternate dimension episode
