thank you! tbh I'm not really the most patient when it comes to coloring 😅 I just want to get it done as quickly as possible

what I usually do though when I start to get frustrated with something, I leave it alone for at least a few hours and come back to it when I'm a lot calmer

I actually don’t have such a bag! I have my purse, but I wouldn’t say I love it. It’s just where I keep my necessary items.

I really only chew gum when I need to freshen my breath, so I favor minty and icy fresh flavors. I don’t have a favorite brand though!

Im considering starting a zine or something to help promote artists and writers on Tumblr because there's a lot of cool ones that don't get a lot of notes and/or need financial help.

Im gonna see if anyone's interested before I start putting anything together seriously

I was thinking starting out with a one-time issue to see if its successful and makes sales and if it is make it a regular thing, maybe every few months?

I don't really have experience and I would need a lot of help putting it together but I think it could help a lot of my fellow creators get the recognition and support they need.

Experiments in drawing lava, with the ultimate goal in designing a lava dress. I worked a bit backwards here, first drawing the dress concept, being unsatisfied with the results, and then deciding to try a few ways of drawing lava as tiles.

My method of starting with yellow lines, framing them with orange, and then filling in the black cooled rock was sound, I just made the lines too thick the first time.

In fabric, what I think would work best would be to start with black cloth, embroider yellow cracks, outline those in orange embroidery (perhaps with more cracks of just orange extending further into the rock), and then outline all the embroidery in red (again, perhaps with some red cracks coming off).

It's too bad that glow-in-the-dark yellow has a greenish tint, because that would be a fun addition to this concept.

My August sewing project - a pink dress, printed with red strawberries, white strawberry blossoms, and green leaves.

The waistband and corded piping at the hem are a denser raspberry print, and the knife-pleated ruffle at the hem is dark green with tiny darker green leaves. There is a plain pink bias binding around the V neck and narrower bias binding in the same pink around the edges of the short circle sleeves.

The dress has a zippered front closure. There are two patch pockets on the skirt, with strawberry button fasteners. The skirt is a half circle and, with the ruffle, falls to calf length.

Lovely illustration of a lady in a red ballgown by @egoartist, sent in for the 'Ballgowninator' game on my submissions page. I envy your skill at illustrating satin! So lustrous ...

[Edit: according to the tags on ego's post of this art, it is actually velvet. My bad.]

This is technically the exact opposite of how 'Ballgowninator' is intended to be played (people are meant to send in pictures or descriptions of people, for whom I then design a ballgown, rather than sending in a picture of a ballgown for which I add facial details to the person wearing it), which made it an interesting creative challenge. Here's what I came up with:

I also tried my hand, pun intended, at painting her with nail polish after seeing the illustration posted with the tag 'nail art'.
