5 Ways To Elevate Your Vibe
After last week’s connection-packed week, I think it’s time for a short and simple post. (Whenever I give you guys the truth, it feels like a fourth wall break). Thus, today I have compiled a list of my top five tips for setting your state of being (or changing it). 
Start your morning with action (not reaction).
Be intentional about what your morning habits are. Do you instantly check social media or are you taking a moment to be mindful? Do you run the morning or does it run you? By taking action as your first few items of your morning routine, you set yourself up for a more productive and focused day. 
Journal how you want the day to go. 
Start your day with gratitude. Follow it up with a rating of your life circle. Set an intention for the day that supports where you want to be. Then set action steps to accomplish during the day. It is a simple formula to get you in the game. You can check out the full run-down and free downloadable here. 
Visualize the state you want to feel. 
What usually makes you feel the desired emotion? Visualize that. As an example, if I wanted to feel at peace, I would go to my dream place of peace. I am sitting on a tree swing feeling the breeze as I pump my legs softly. There is the sound of a waterfall in the distance and birds chirping. The sun is setting on the lake in front of me and it smells like the earth after fresh cut rain. The multitude of colors of the earth make me feel gratitude and the solitude brings me peace. See yourself in whatever situation you need to in order to embody that emotion or state of being. 
Take State-Breaks. 
Similar to the visualization above, you can take a break in the day to tap into how you want to feel. Use any tool you have to change your state and check in multiple times a day to keep you feeling how you want to feel. Today, I practiced gratitude four times (outside of my normal gratitude practices). 
When in doubt go for gratitude. 
Gratitude will always raise your vibes. The best part about gratitude is how easy it is to practice. Just taking a moment to mentally note the things you are grateful for can help you shift your mood. Or, if you want to make it even more powerful say them out loud or write them down. Listing out the things you are grateful for will help you feel grateful. Whenever I’m feeling down and I don’t know how to feel, I opt for gratitude. 
It is up to you to decide how you want to feel each day and often that decision can help you navigate the regular stressors of life. So choose to have good vibes today and practice any or all of these options to help you through it. Drop a comment telling me which one you like best.

I just wanted to share this. When I was young, I used to use tumblr for thinspo and I had an eating disorder. Now, I eat intuitively and exercise and my body is healthier every day. One of my biggest goals is to provide value to the people like the person I was five years ago. That is why I wanted to share this.
