Imagine: playing with the hair of the Madrigal twins.

🦎☀ • Camilo doesn't really let anyone touch his hair, well besides his mamí. But he doesn't get a choice in that one, mostly because he is a mama's boy and can't deny his mama when she asks to brush his hair for old time's sake.

🦎☀ • When you both started dating he was ready to give you the hairbrush and any hair ties he could find in Casita, Camilo might be a natural flirt but when he falls he falls hard.

🦎☀ • he sits on the floor against his bed as he reads the new comic his Papí gave him for his birthday, leaning back as you run your fingers through his curls. He practically purrs at the feeling. It relaxes him every time.

His hair is actually very smooth and barely has any knots, mostly from the trauma he gained from his mother when he was younger about not keeping his hair well-kept as she yanked the hairbrush (if you know you know)

🦎☀ • Once you finished taking two sides of his hair and pulling each side tightening the hair tie and securing the high bun, his bangs hung around his face like his Mamí. He looked to his side stretching to see himself in his mirror from his sitting position and smiled. He liked it.

His Mamí was complimentary of his new hairstyle and was pleased to match with her son she had a rainbow over her head the rest of the day.

🦎🎤 • yeah. No. He doesn't let anyone touch his hair, and practically runs from his mamá when he sees her rushing toward him with a hairbrush, "Carlos Control that hair, or I'll do it for you!"

"No! Mamá it's my hair!"

*thunders*

🦎🎤 • When you start dating, it'll take some time before you get the privilege of touching his hair. He will try and hint at wanting his hair played with by resting his head in your lap but angles his head so his hair is perfectly in reach and accessible if you still don't get the hint? He huffs before grabbing your hair and placing it on his head.

🦎🎤 • His head rests on your lap as you both talk about your days (well, it's mostly just him braging about all the successful pranks he pulled that day) as you play with his hair. His hair is soft but has tangles for sure, no matter how many times his mamá lectured him about protecting his hair as he slept and detangling it regularly as she ripped a hairbrush through his curls before using a mountain of products to help with the detangling process it just never stuck.

But if you take the time to detangle his hair gently with few tugs as possible, he would appreciate it even if he won't say it out loud.

🦎🎤 • He barely notices his hair is in a high bun until he sits up and his hair doesn't cover one of his eyes like it usually does. He kinda just grumbles but is too lazy to untie the scrunchie knowing he would receive an earful if he just yanked it out not only from you but from his Mamá.

His mamá is very grateful for you and your service, if she had to detangle his hair one more time she was sure to thunder from his constant disregard of her words.

So I rewatched the movie encanto, and I wondered something.

What would Bruno's kids be like?

Hear me out, Alma and Pedro gave birth to the past (Julieta, who heals past wounds), present (Pepa who can control the weather now), and future (Bruno who can see the future)

Julieta and Augustin gave birth to beauty (Isabella, who makes beautiful flowers and plants), brawn (Luisa who is stronger than ten men), and brains (Mirabel who solved the whole family issues)

Pepa and Félix gave birth to hear no evil (Dolores who hears everything), see no evil (Camilo who can change into anyone), and speak no evil (Antonio who can speak to animals and command them)

But what would Bruno's children be if he had any? What would their life be like in the encanto before and after Bruno leaves? Would he have triplets like he was with his sisters since everyone else is years apart? Who would they get along with? What do you think their powers would be? I just came up with this slightly angsty but sweet idea about the platonic yandere madrigal family obsessing over a reader that's the child of Bruno.

-Pepa, Julieta and Alma would all be the most protective over them, especially if they looked identical to Bruno.

-Dolores and Mirabel would without a doubt be the best friends of them, Mirabel would know what it's like to feel like an outcast since the people most likely aren't treating the reader very well due to their relation to Bruno. I imagine Dolores would definitely be a great best friend too, she hears everything people say or murmur about them so I imagine she'd be painfully aware of how the people treat reader. Since she's also a platonic yandere in this like the rest of the family I can totally see her blackmailing people with stuff she's heard about them whenever they talk crap about reader.

-Dolores would definitely also be the one to comfort Reader as she can hear their crying from how they're treated every night.

-Bruno would definitely watch over his child in secret, he'd never want to miss even a second of their life

-Julieta would definitely fuss over their injuries, even if it's something like a paper cut. So would Alma and Pepa.

-Isabela would without a doubt nonchalantly roast the crap out of anybody that dares to to think it's a good idea to talk crap about you to her. She'd do it with a tone in her voice that says "I'm better than you and you should know that" all the while subtly roasting them in the process. They'd never recover from it lmao

-Camilo would definitely do his best to make them laugh whenever they're feeling down, he'd shapeshift into various people and do funny impressions of them

-Antonio would be absolutely adorable, he'd totally get his animals to comfort Reader whenever they're feeling down, too.

-I can see Luisa just randomly picking up reader whenever there's a puddle so they won't have to step in the puddle lol.

Your eyes slowly started open, then you saw the whole Madrigal family, before you. "Wait w-what's-" "no need to worry Amor" Julieta cut you off. "B-but-" then you had once again been cut off but, by Isabela this time. "No but's darling you're are ours now" you then asked " what if someone comes to finds me?" "we'll deal with that when that happens mi Vida" Camilo replied. You started to struggle a bit until you realized the restraints were too tight. "It's no use doll, you can't leave us" Dolores stated possessively. You gulped in fear, scared of what they were going to do.

Once they left the room you decided to escape, reaching to your back pocket, pulling out your pocket knife. And then, just barley being able to cut through the ropes. Once you hacked your way through the ropes, you opened the window attempting to climb out but saw the height.

You swallowed all your fear and then jumped, pain shot through your legs. But, you ignored it. You heard the distance calls of the Madrigal family follow, it only made you run faster. But you, tripped and then sprained your ankle. You tried to drag yourself away but, had gotten picked up by strong arms, being Luisa's.

"Look at you, you hurt yourself. You need to be more careful!" Luisa scolded you, she then quickly brang you back to the family. Everyone then quickly hugged you, Julieta then gave you some of her food. Making your ankle heal, Luisa then put you down. Suddenly you felt tired and a bit drowsy, you then fell to the ground, your world fading to black. The Madrigal family only smiling. You were theirs now, forever

my random and lost ideas of Encanto fanfics:

(still no name defined) Bruno Madrigal x Fem! Reader

"What do you mean I'm not going to marry Alvaro, but with you, and we're going to have three children?!"

In which, with just a few days to go before your wedding to Alvaro Guzman, you decide to consult the well-known and controversial seer of the Madrigal family, Bruno.

However, the responses and perceptions you received were quite different from what you expected; with the man envisioning nothing more than her marriage, not to her current fiancé, but to Bruno himself.

— the plot is already pretty clear, but I'll add a few more things; takes place well before the events of the film, at the time when Bruno, Pepa and Juliet were teenagers (around eighteen/nineteen). And Reader's marriage to Alvaro Guzman (Mariano's uncle) has been arranged, she is unhappy about it but knows she can't do anything to stop it. Therefore, he decides to consult with Bruno Madrigal, even with his family's warnings about his predictions being, hm...Complex. We'll have a time skip and the rest of the fanfic takes place in the current times of the movie (1950's) and the rest... Maybe someday I'll write.

that was until he took you all in

he would think about you all the time and just spend his days daydreaming

everyone knew something was wrong when he laughed out loud for once, and it was at something ACTUALLY funny

but when he was fine, everyone was just so confused

you kind of caught on that he likes you and confessed to him, he was over the moon

he’d sneak out and hang with you all day

he was in love

he decided to have you meet his family, since he loved you too much and his heart would explode if he didn’t because the thought of it was already too much

when that happened, his entire family stared at you as if you were some sort of angel

they thought you changed him for life

that was until camilo walked past them and carlos started glaring at him

they realized it was just you

During the middle act of Encanto, where the family slowly began to lose their gifts (like Luisa slowly becoming less stronger for example). How would Javi, Angie and Ignacio react when their gifts slowly faded away as the family conflict grew?

Javi:

✨ For Javi, it would start off when he was beginning to receive splitting headaches and migraines. Usually he is calm and collected, even though his bottled up emotions would feel like a storm inside of him sometimes but these were painful headaches that not even Tia Julieta’s food could heal. He began to be a little more crabby and moody than usual because of this— and even would flat out snap at people whenever he gets like one minor inconvenience. Maybe when he gets too overwhelmed with the headaches and his heightened emotions, he’ll retreat to his room to bury himself under a pile of pillows and blankets to recover in his cold cavern. As much as he’d like to get to the bottom of whats going on, he’ll need a moment to take a breather.

✨ Relying on his telekineses gift made him a little clumsier in a way. One minute he would be reading his books and then the moment he leaves his mug in mid air, he gets startled when he hears a crash and all his coffee is spilled on the floor. Like how astronauts would sometimes forget about gravity when they come home to earth.

✨ Or maybe the exact opposite happens when his gift begins to hiccup. Like what if it begins to overwhelm him as he grows more and more anxious throughout the day. I imagine his gift would end up affecting the objects and furniture around him without meaning to and they end up shaking or creaking whenever he went. During the dinner scene, in the midst of the chaos happening, imagine him accidentally making all the plates, dishes, and tableware levitate because of all the built up stress and tension in the room.

Angelina:

🕊 Oh Angelina would notice immediately when somethings wrong. She’ll notice quickly how her flight speed is a little slower than usual and how she’s losing her balance every time she’d try to fly higher. Because of this, she’ll be too stubborn to admit something is wrong, until she can fully convince herself that this is just a small hiccup. Nothing that Tia Julieta’s healing arepas cant fix.

🕊 But she eventually did admit to herself something was definitely wrong. Throughout the day she would just resort to finishing her chores without using her flight powers. If anyone would jokingly comment about her lacking flying/floating habits, she would just use an excuse that she got “grounded” by her mother after ruining another skirt from flying through the forests again.

🕊 But Angelina would be too proud to tell anyone about her predicament. Telling her mother about it would be the last thing in her mind. She knew it would mean that her mother’s prayers were answered if she found out it would keep her from attempting to fly over the mountains. But nevertheless, Angelina would react more calmer than her brothers—thinking this slight hiccup would fix itself in a day or two.

Ignacio:

🔥 Oh boy. Ignacio would not handle his fire breath messing him up well. He will notice it early though. He’ll help out his Tia Julieta prepare breakfast for the day—his task of lighting up all the ovens got him all out of breath with what seemed to usually be a piece of cake for him before. When he’s eating, he likes to play with his food by toasting it a little—but after gently blowing on a piece of bread he picked up for himself, no flame came out of his mouth at all unless he exhaled hard enough.

🔥 Ignacio would spend the rest of the day coughing and drinking water to clear his throat. Even his performances would lack that spectacular fire show that he would usually show off in the middle of town. Smoke would still escape his lips but he’ll be sneezing or coughing more than usual for something he cant get out of his chest.

🔥 During the dinner scene, Ignacio would try his best not to concern his family and the de Guzmans with all the coughing hes been trying to restrain. But with what seems to be some kind of build up in his chest he cant get rid of—more smoke began to escape him and spread throughout the room as he tried to hold down his coughs. Everyone initially thought he was pulling a prank but poor Ignacio kept shaking his head and signaling to not mind him. Even his tio Agustin became more worried and tried to pat his back to help him out since Ignacio was beginning to look more pained. Eventually when the vision tablet was revealed at the table and all the walls began to crack—Ignacio wasnt able to keep it in before he could excuse himself from the table and startled everyone when strong burst of flames suddenly erupted from his mouth in a coughing fit. There were shrieks when a portion of the table cloth caught on fire and Evalina tried to pat down the flames. It wasnt until the flames were extinguished when the storm cloud above them finally rained.

🌟 Lily's birthday is Sep 19th 1956 / Virgo

🌟 Lily's full name is Lily Estrella Madrigal. Estrella meaning 'star' and is her mother's maiden name.

🌟 Nicknames: Lil, mi estrella, moonbeam & stardust

🌟 The name Lily is a tie back to one of Pedro’s poems (Lily Of The Valley) and artwork he left behind in a journal that Bruno found as a child.

🌟 Lily's gift, like both of Bruno’s biological children, is connected to time. Hers being the ability to manipulate time, stopping, reversing and altering the flow.

🌟 Her door is the only one in Casita to not show her image/portrait on it. Instead a glowing half moon is shown and when being used the magic of the door is active and it ticks through the lunar phases. Another tie to her gift.

🌟 A special moment that Diego and Lily gave Abuela was when they brought her back to meet Pedro in the past. Lily’s gift age reversing her back for that meeting.

🌟 Mirabel made Lily a Benji puma plushie of her oldest brother after he moved out and into his own home on their street, for when she misses him terribly and stop her trying to sneak over. Both Diego and Lily adore cuddles with Benji in puma form.

🌟 Pepa was highly disappointed when she wasn't Diego's favorite family member as a baby which she got redemption for when Lily came along and loved the sound of falling rain. Pepa would be the only one able to get her back to sleep when fussy cause of this.

🌟 The white streak in Lily's hair was an effect after receiving her gift on the night of the lunar eclipse and Bruno affectionately calls it "kissed by starlight".

Ability to affect the flow of time (by slowing, accelerating, reversing, or stopping it), astral projection on a full moon she can visit the dreams of loved ones (rare ability and only shown/used once for Luna), dream-weaver (can help ease and settle subconscious thoughts in order to allow easier sleep, the family always thought she was given this extra ability to help Bruno but ends up using it on Benji's brother the most.)

🌟 Her gift is strengthened by moonlight, on a full moon (lilies grew everywhere the moonlight touched on the night of the eclipse, a result of Lily receiving her gift)

🌟 Growing up with older brothers Lily can hold her own and doesn’t shy away from a challenge, although the boys spoil her rotten, allowing her to get away with anything when Luna and Bruno aren’t home (they scream sing her song ‘Queen by Hidden Citizens’ to her and let her dance on the table when they’re alone),

🌟 Her style is described as creative, artsy, colorful, somewhat eccentric as she pairs odd bits of fabric and likes to wear sombrero’s (possibly to fit in with her hermano’s which she looks up to), sometimes a bit of a tomboy even in a dress or skirt.

🌟 Bruno had to learn to braid her hair cause she enjoys how he grumbles, mumbles and talks to himself while doing it. When Bruno isn't able to braid her hair she ropes Diego into it instead, which he's surprisingly good at.

🌟 Her artsy side comes out whenever Bruno naps and she has a chance to draw on his arm, loving to add her special flair to where his tattoo sits. Diego has learned to hide her pens whenever he naps to avoid her making him "pretty" (sometimes he misses her hijinks and purposely "forgets" to put away her drawing materials).

🌟 Lily is learning to play the violin from Agustín cause she loves watching Bruno teach Diego guitar and is hoping to surprise them with her own version of "fancy guitar".

This just somehow was in my head. Dolores is like pressured to me most of the time. I don’t think there are things she can find about her gift, which she never knew she could do.

Camilo, on the other hand, probably didn’t know he could do something more with his gift. Like, imagine him able to turn almost into ANYTHING. Like- him turning into animals, different objects and etc!

We don’t talk about Jared bush saying Camilo can’t turn into something else expect for humans.

And Antonio is just there, worrying that he’ll not get any gift. What he’ll be useless and etc. worrying what he can end up like Mirabel, but! Instead of him wishing for his own door, he wishes for Mirabel to have a door of her own.

This is sad.

You know, the Madrigal family wasn't even that messed up. The real mess would only be able to happen if they put all of Abuela's siblings (8 or 9, more if they had courage) in the city.

I mean, everytime my grandparent's siblings are fighting. My maternal grandpa siblings don't even have a whatsapp group bc of they cant even mantain peace on it. They never get everyone together because they always ended up fighting.

The real messed up family is the siblings of our grandparents.
