Meet Recap It was a hot day and I was fired up! Highs and lows all over in this meet. Squats: Got called high on 507 so had @notmrsdonjohnson help me with depth and secured my first 500+ squat in the books. Bench: Took 385 for an easy opener and the pressed 402 to secure my first 400+ bench in the books. Took 424 for my 3rd and got red lights. I think I could take this again in November and get it. Deadlift: Ran late coming back and had to throw my opener. @notmrsdonjohnson coming in clutch again and helped me warm up in 2 sets, then took 435 for an easy opener and took my token 457 for the day. Guess I'll have to wait until November to beat my 474. Despite some set backs I still took home the gold for the 220 equipped open division. 5/9, 11lb meet PR on squat, 39 meet PR on bench, 1366 total, 33lb meet PR for total. Still chasing 1400 in November. Extra special thanks to @jennmxiong for supplying extra snacks and drinks, recording, keeping me fed, and running all the way back home to get my singlet because I'm dumb and forgot it. Barbell Event for Navigating Autism - MadTown Fitness 08/02
Lifting weights for a good cause? Doesn't get any better than this! REBLOG!
Team Lilliebridge will be heading up to WI this weekend to support this event which is dedicated to raising money for the families of those recently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and helping them have access to proper resources, education, and treatments. 
Other awesome powerlifter's like Marshall "Freakshow" Johnson will also be coming up to help and have already supported the cause through big name websites like Elite FTS!

Ballistic Training Thought I would make a more unique post highlighting this interesting training method. The idea is too move the weight as fast as possible in both directions of travel. Ballistic Bench: 4×3 at 245 with 1 second pause at top, pressing just before it touches chest. "Everybody wanna be a powerlifter, but don't nobody wanna lift no heavy ass weight!" Max effort squats this morning with the SSB. 315 and 365 for heavy singles in @titanpower81 wraps. Top set was 405 in Raptor wraps. Max Effort Lower Program got weird towards the end and had max Effort Lower twice, with the second being a deload. Training is between 2 days back to back. Squats: 507 for a strong single then backdowns of 457 for 2×1. Deadlifts: 3×1 at 407 Squats Deload: 505 for a walked single, not bad for walked and a slightly more narrow stance.
