For reasons I can't explain, I seem to enjoy pairing Maeglin with many people.

So here's how I've written him:

Elven Songs and Dwarven Bells - queerplatonic Celebrimbor/Maeglin in Himlad after his leaving Nan Elmoth with Aredhel.

Refuge in the Dark - complicated Idril/Maeglin as they seek refuge in each other's bodies during the nights in Gondolin.

Stars Above, Voice Within - slow burn Túrin/Maeglin in Nargothrond and the reforging of Gurthang (canon divergence).

Cracks in an old mirror by @joyfullynervouscreator - a beautiful, heart-wrenching Ecthelion/Maeglin, post-canon Valinor.

Maeglin x Ecthelion

Happy Birthday to my love @toastedbuckwheat <3333333333333

Finally did a proper Maegthelion piece, inspired by our HCs and some pictures of magnolia bonsai I randomly came across. Imagined here Ecthelion waking up to find his hair and braids undone by Lómion‎, which he doesn’t remember happening when they laid down together. Now the boy is quietly mounting what he had painted earlier on a scroll. 

Wanted to do something warm and mellow and tender and this pair has been the perfect babies for us. It’s been a bit of a bumpy and stressful year and of course we had to cancel our plans for something we’ve been looking forward to for a very long time. But that’s okay because even on the roughest days my best friend has always given me reasons to smile and keep going. I’m so glad we have each other through everything, something I’ll always be proud of and grateful for. Thank you for everything Adam, love you!!!!
