I did a background practice but it turned into a TMA piece.

I do love me a good first episode and I must say that out of many shows that I watched MAG 001 is one of my favs.

Fun Facts:

The reference photo I used is from a stock photo set about a man being sacked. Jon only wishes he had been sacked.

The background is a photograph I took at my own workplace around the time I started listening to TMA, with a watercolor filter applied to it.

I used a new art program for this one! This was my first time using Rebelle on my laptop, instead of Medibang on my phone. Using a stylus is really different from using my finger, and it took a while to adjust, but I like being able to have some more traditional art textures while creating digitally.

Magtober Day 13 - Monsters/Creatures [Tw//cigarette]

Perfect spooky prompt for Friday the 13th!! Mag1 - Angler Fish holds a special place in my heart. Just something about it being such a wonderful opening episode that gives you a taste of the fear that's to come, all while actually becoming sorta relavant later in the plot? Mmm, love it <3

My goal for Magtober is to do a sketch every day according to the prompt. I've been suffering from that headspace where every peice needs to be a finished piece, so I'm tryin to break that.

Round Two Part Two - Match 9

Angler Fish actually was going to be Seed #1, but it had about 700 points more than any other episode! This led to a season boost in my ranking system, to account for natural fall off as seasons continue. Today we have a Stranger face off (ha) with Angler Fish against Still Life, which had 176 votes in Round One!

i will talk forever about the plot significance of the anglerfish all day it’s so AUGH
