One of my favorite parts of The Magnus Archives is when the avatars wax eloquent about their respective patrons. Their words are so full of awe and fear and love.

I think that’s why I enjoyed Eric Delano’s statement so much. Listen to the way he talks about Mary! Isn’t it familiar? She is his fear god.

Now yes, there's a lot Jon isn't saying here BUT that line is so much more than just a cheap substitute for an I Love You because it actually is all about the trust!! Like this is the MAGNUS INSTITUTE, there is NOT a whole lot of trust going around in this workplace, and yet!! These two are the ones who most consistently have faith in one another! Martin trusted Jon when most people around him were sure he killed Leitner, Jon trusted that Martin knew what he was doing going with Lukas' scheme, just off the top of my head. Again and again, for better or worse, they put their trust in eachother and its important!

this week the general menace and also specialest boy in the world @hotdrinks introduced me to two very cool things: automatic drawing as a warmup/cool-down, and thinking about the physical circumstances during jmart’s 154 convo, and the combination thereof had me sort of sketching out my idea for the whole scene (which i may or may not ever actually do anything with). these few frames rly amused me so i expanded them and now i am laying it at ur feet and running away love and light xoxo

I finished my graduation project!

So yesterday I finally finished this project that I've been working on since september and if people took a look at it I would love you forever because I worked really hard on it and it's caused me SO much pain.

(Pro tip, don't make an animatic for the project that you graduating school depends on if you've never animated before)
