Rowena!!! Cas!! Bobby!!

Omg!! Thank you so much for sending me this ask for the character ask game!! I can’t believe you sent so many characters!! Eeeeepppp!! I love doing little games like this and it makes me so happy that you sent so many!! My apologies on the delay of answering this ask! But I wanted to say thank you for sending this to me!! You’re a sweetheart and you made me so happy sending so many characters!!

Rowena:

How I feel about this character: At first, I didn’t like her. I literally could not understand why people liked her. For like several seasons I just did not like her. And then it was like a switch, I just went from disliking her to utterly adoring her. I screamed everytime she showed up like I was just so excited. And now she’s my favorite female character in the show! I love her! She is just amazing and such a badass!

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Sam! I definitely ship her and Sam! There’s definitely something between them that hovers just below the surface and I want them to just admit they like each other already! I could definitely see a little something with her and Gabriel. It was a little unexpected on the show but when I thought about it, the two of them would be up to a lot of mischief and that just made me happy so I could ship them too.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Rowena and Cas. I think once they set aside their differences they could have a good friendship. And her teasingly flirting with Cas makes me giggle. 

My unpopular opinion about this character: Probably that I hated her for the first like 2 and a half seasons she was in. I just didn’t connect with her as a character. And the more I saw her she started to win me over. And now I just love her. But I can’t even remember why i hated her at first? Just that I definitely was not a fan of her initially. Not sure if that’s an unpopular opinion?

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That she hadn’t died. Goddammit. Her death was unnecessary. She deserved so much more. Am I glad she’s running Hell now? Yes. But she deserved to be alive until the end. I would have liked to have seen if the spark between her and Sam could have been more. I would have liked for her to be the most powerful witch ever running everything on Earth and just being the badass she was forever.

Bobby:

How I feel about this character: I love him!! He’s the father that Dean and Sam deserved. He took care of them, supported them, helped them, and told them the things they needed to hear. I love how much of a straight-shooter Bobby is. He just knows how to get shit done! He’s smart and witty and I just love how he knows just what everyone needs at any point in time and is willing to give it, whether it’s a gentle touch or a swift kick in the ass. Bobby really is the best.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: I was really starting to ship Bobby with Jody and then boom he died and I was like fuck that. So rude. He deserved some happiness man. But also that alternate life where he married Ellen was so cute and I ship them too! Basically Bobby deserves a woman who can put up with the hunting life but also ground him when he needs it. And I think both Jody and Ellen would have been good matches for him and it would have been interesting to see either of those played out.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Bobby and Rufus! I love how they pretended to hate each other but really those two idiots loved and respected the hell out of each other. Like proper family, just being snarky with each other but also secretly loving each other.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Is it an unpopular opinion to say I preferred old Bobby and not the new alternate version and I wish they’d just stuck to ways of bringing that version of his character back. Like the season we get to see the flashback episode with Bobby and Rufus. And then the season with Cas pulling Bobby out of Heaven because the boys need help. Those were cameos I loved, but I’m not too fond of the AU Bobby. I just like earlier seasons Bobby because they feel more true to character.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That he would have gotten more credit for all he did. Especially in the earlier seasons Sam and Dean use him a lot without really expressing their gratitude or love in return. And they get better at it for sure, but everyone uses Bobby all the time without really thanking him. He just deserves all the love. He’s a proper good man. Takes care of those he loves. And everyone should give him the respect and recognition that he rightfully deserves.

1. My cat Percy, who never fails to make me feel better. Even when he is been grumpy.

2. Speaking to my friends - We may not be able to see each other for a long time yet (since they are all fandom people who live all over the bloody world!) but our regular zoom calls are a huge seratonin boost. We must organise another one soon!

3. Being with my family, at my parents house, where I am most comfortable and feel safest.

4. Currently rewatching the Hamilton musical on repeat makes me VERY happy. I can’t stop though I am a bit worried I may become addicted. It’s SO GOOD.

When I came out to my mum she said and I quote “I was wondering when you were gonna tell me” turns out she’d known for years and went so far as to make a fake betting pool (no money was involved it was just a when do you think it’ll happen) with her work friends (I’m super close with all of the people involved in the little game) and they were all waiting for me to come out when I was ready, it made the whole thing a lot less scary because they all already knew or guessed so I got to just chill

Pairing: Sherlock Holmes/John Watson

Summary: When John and Sherlock have to investigate a gay dating event over the weekend, Sherlock finds the challenge quite exciting. John isn't so sure they're going to be able to play stranger for an entire weekend, especially considering they've been married for ten years.

Excerpt: 

Sherlock's feet brush his under the table, "Come on, John, it's going to be fun."

"Is it really?" John asks, looking back up and finding Sherlock smiling widely at him. "Ok, what is it?"

"This is an event where you're supposed to meet other people, John," Sherlock says. "We can't go as a married couple."

John stares at him, "You mean we're going as strangers?"

Sherlock nods, "That's exactly what I mean."

John laughs softly, "Well, that's a challenge."

Sherlock frowns, "A challenge? Why?"

"Sherlock, love, we've been married for ten years now, playing strangers isn't going to be easy," John smiles. Sherlock leans back against his own chair, not moving his feet away and proving John's point right there. "What I mean is that we have habits now, we look at each other in certain ways, we are used to being together. Spending an entire weekend without being able to be ourselves is going to be a challenge, that's all."

Sherlock stares at him for a long moment, "I can do it."

John can't help but laugh again. He should have known Sherlock would take it like this. "If you say so," he breathes out slowly, still smiling.

"You don't think I can?" Sherlock asks.

"I think you'll have a hard time keeping your hands to yourself, that's all."

Sherlock stands up, walking around the table and stopping in front of him. John glances up at him, watching as Sherlock leans down to whisper against his lips, "Challenge accepted, then."

Also, your idea of giving me free reign to chose whichever other one I vibed with is such a good idea!! I actually feel the same way you do that there’s always one on the list of asks that strikes me but never gets asked, so you asking that was both thoughtful and extremely sweet, so thank you very much for that!! I think that’s the nicest way anyone’s ever asked me something like that, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, so thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️

Moon: who is someone that always brings you comfort?

Definitely my sister. When something happens, she’s always the one I want to talk to. Whether it’s small things or big things. Whenever something bad happens or stresses me out of upsets me, I go and tell her and she’s there to listen and to back me up. She always gives me the best advice too. Like she knows exactly what to do or what I need to hear to get me back on my feet. My sister is always someone I can trust to know what’s best for me, too. Whenever i’ve ended up in a bad place, she’s always my voice of reason. And I’m really lucky to have her in my life.

Cold: is your room typically messy or clean?

Typically, my room is pretty clean. Not like ‘oh look I just dusted and vacuumed’ kind of clean, because that’s a huge process for me to clean everything to perfection. But like generally, everything is organized and put away. My floor is clear, I have a few ornaments out but not an overload, and everything is in its place. Part of my nightly routine before I sleep is to make sure my room is clean in the sense that everything is organized and put where I need it and all my papers are neatly stacked, etc.. So yeah, overall, my room is pretty nicely organized and clean.

Rain: how much of your life do you regret?

I wouldn’t say I regret life so much as I regret decisions/choices. I massively regret letting certain people into my life who screwed with me mentally and emotionally and abused me. I regret letting them in and regret trusting them. And I think, because of that, it gives me trust issues. And I regret letting bullies in middle school get the better of me. I regret letting them “win” and letting them make me feel useless and powerless, because I’m so much stronger and better than they made me feel.

So yeah, I don’t regret life, and overall I’m happy/proud of my life and what I’ve accomplished/been through. I regret certain choices and if I could go back, I would tell myself not to get involved with certain people because they would turn out to be the most destructive and manipulative people to ever come into my life. But maybe it was for the better, because it made me learn about myself and learn how strong I am and how to better myself. Life isn’t about regrets. It’s about overcoming adversity to better ourselves and to be better for the people/world around us.

Stars: what is a goal you have for life?

I think one of my biggest goals I have for life is to be happy. And I don’t just mean like ‘oh man I’m smiling and happy for five minutes because of xyz.’ I mean like, internal happiness. I mean being content with where I am in life. Being happy with my career and my family and friends and the people i have around me. Sorta in reference to the last question, I don’t want to wake up one day with regrets and to ponder the what-ifs. My goal with my life is to do things that I’m proud of; to be someone who leaves an imprint on the world (whether in a small way or large), and to feel like I’ve brought some sense of good into the world. Happiness on the scale of ‘have I do what I wanted to do and things I never knew I could do and have I given back to the community and served my purpose in this lifetime’. That’s all super heavy stuff, I know. But I think happiness is beyond the scale of the here and now. I want to be happy with my life and to know I’ve chosen the right path that makes me happy and makes others around me happy, too.

"So very romantic, my husband," Sherlock smiles, but John knows he silently agreeing to his idea.

"You knew that when you chose to marry me," John points out. "You deduced I'm a romantic years ago, actually."

"I did," Sherlock says, still smiling. "And yet, you’ve never written me any poems."

"You hate my poems," John protests.

"I do not," Sherlock replies, shaking his head. "I hated the ones you wrote to those boring women, that's all."

John grins at him, "You were jealous." Sherlock shrugs, not denying it, and John kisses him again. "I'll write you a poem. Tonight even."

"Really?" Sherlock asks, sounding way too happy about it, and John promises himself to dig up all the poems he wrote about him but never dared to show him.

"Really," he replies, and with another laugh, he seals their lips again
