This is Alex, my character for a comic i'm slowly making called "Magical Marchen"
Alex is Nonbinary, but specifically identifies as more 'gender queer.' They use They/Them pronouns as a default but enjoy using whatever pronouns cause the most confusion/chaos [example: dressing super fem and having people use he/him pronouns for them] [or simply cycling through pronouns when referring to them]
Alex's little buddy there on the right is the guardian for their book "Alice in wonderland" who is the Cheshire Cat, together they they transform into the magical person "Wonderland" [the person on the far left]
Underneath that image is just a profile of Alex i did in more painterly style... or an attempt i did at a more painterly style lol

I think the 'losing your magic' trope should have more dangerous consequence than just "i'm an ordinary human now and my worth/humanity/talent/etc is gone" not that to say the latter isn't important but consider: if magic is an innate part of yourself, make the side effects be harmful to your physical health. Mood swings, extreme fatigue, chest pain, feeling too cold or too hot, anything.

Some of today’s pencil art :)
[ID: a pencil drawing of a 90s magical person captioned “Magical Cowboygirl.” Above her are a few unrelated expression sketches. She’s sitting on the ground leaning back with one leg bent up, and the other crossed underneath, waving to the viewer. He’s a slim bigender Black person, wearing a mix between classic magical girl clothes, and riffs on stereotypical cowboy clothing. He has coily hair done up in bangs and a side ponytail secured by a very large bow, and visible facial/body hair. She’s wearing a cropped collared shirt, unbuttoned but secured at the color by a bolo tie with a heart secured. Underneath he wears a shiny black bra. She wears matching lacy sleeves, separate from the shirt but matching the same lace design as the colar. He’s also wearing a pleated skirt and chunky star themed cowboy boots. On the boots are spiked heart shaped spurs. Around her are various hearts and some basic shading. /End ID]

Rule Two: Set your intentions♡
Setting your intention is a really important part of being a magical person! It's basically defining your whole reason for being a magical person!
For example, My intention for being a magical boy is to have fun while helping others!
But my Mentor's intentions are to protect the innocent from the depths of dispear and guide those who are pure of heart in the right direction!
See? Both of our intentions are very different! But both of our intentions are very much valid ^^
Worksheet time!
Once again you don't have to do this! Its just something to think about!
Once you have found something worth being magical for, you should try and focus on how that makes you feel. If you feel positive, you're intention is perfect! If you feel off, maybe try rethinking your intentions positively or thinking of something else!
Hope this helps! Until next time! -Keith<3

If I was a Pretty Cure,
my name (when in my Magical Enbe form) would be Cure Shadow; I'd say as my self-introduction: "The starlight in darkness, Cure Shadow!!"
My transformation item would look like a digital wristwatch, with "Metamorphose!!" as my transformation word as I hold the item to my chest.
My magical attack would be Star's Shade, where – if I'm touching an enemy's shadow with 1 or more of my fingers – the enemy's shadow consumes them 'til they bursts into miniscule dark green stars similarly to how defeated Zakenna in canon 'Futari wa Pretty Cure' (2004) burst into dark violet stars. The downsides of this attack are: the enemy staying even only an inch away from my fingers (I've no long range magical attack); the enemy can stop me simply by escaping my touch before I can finish saying "Star's Shade!!"; if the enemy cuts off all 10 of my fingers, I can't ever use the attack ever again.
I mostly rely on punches & kicks since I've initially got 'bout 12 times the muscle strength of an Olympic athlete (including me being able to run quickly) then me & my teammates bit by bit become stronger (& faster) as we keep fighting our dangerous enemies for a few years therefore we're eventually on part with the various canon Pretty Cure.
Unlike my teammates, I have night vision that lets me see perfectly fine without any light; the downside of this is that I'm vulnerable to any brightness being shone into my eyes by the villains.
I'd probably be the team's main bookworm/Internet researcher, since I'm a curious person who loves learning; ask me 'bout any random topic and I'll go find the answer if I don't have it already. Also, I'd bake cheesecake for or bring ice cream to team meetings. *scratches back of his head whilst grinning sheepishly* Can't think on empty stomachs, can we?
My transformation item (and each of my initially 3 – eventually 4, after an elderly Pretty Cure returns from retirement for a few months to help my team go against the evil organisation we've been for a few years trying to stop from destroying the Multiverse coz of their capitalism & xenophobia – teammates) is given to me (and my teammates) by a fairy named Rotanev who looks like a stuffed toy dolphin. She's not strong enough to fight and can't walk; but she can swim fast enough to travel a full circle around the entire planet Earth in only 96 minutes (meaning her top speed in the ocean is 417 kilometres per minute), she can grow into a passenger-carrying form that resembles Submarimon from 'Digimon Adventure Zero Two' (2001), and she can spew a stream of water from her mouth like a liquid version of Gabumon's Petit Fire/Blue Blaster (hers is called Révma Neroú). On her forehead is a cartoon star with each of the 5 points having been filled in by a different colour, the middle being the same blue-grey as Rotanev's skin; each colour vanished when she gave me & my teammates our respective transformation items after we earned her trust; only the star's outline remains.
My team's name is Soul Pretty Cure.
