OC-tober Day 7 Personality

Personality; I'm not great at describing stuff like this and I think other posts i've done can give a good feel of his personality. Also I'm at a loss for how to do a write up so I'll do my best to sum him up. Nyth is outwardly very extroverted and seemingly brash. He's used to fighting for what he wants so he has a kind of, taking charge approach that can come off as very self centered. He would prefer to talk things out but he will jump to throw the first punch. He does talk a lot but unless you mean something to him then more than likely what he is saying doesn't mean much. He can be flamboyant and very devil may care at times. Maybe quotes beneath the break? Yeah, quotes beneath the break.

ーCongratulations! How's today's birthday party going?

Silver: I'm so glad to see everybody likes to celebrate this way.

That's why if I fell asleep half way through, I'd feel very sorry for all the students who prepared this for me.

I got enough sleep yesterday and, just in case, I drank lots of black coffee earlier.

Now I'm sure, today I won't fall asleep.

—Do you have any memories of your birthday in your home town?

Silver: Of course... Every year, my father would have taken a commemorative photo. With Sebek and Malleus, who came to celebrate. He'd shoot it all of us, side by side.

The photo we took last year is displayed on the desk at the dorm lounge. It is a wonderful and irreplaceable birthday present.

When I became my father's apprentice, he was taller than me but, he was overtaken by me before we'd noticed.

When I realised about it, I was quite surprised.

Since then, we'd be asking for Sebek to take out the plates from the top of the cupboard.

You can actually do it with magic, but... Every time I asked for it, Sebek looked at me with a proud face.

Perhaps, I guess he likes to take things from high places. You may call it a hobby, just don't get on his way.

That's why I'll keep on asking him for it.

Silver: Huh... I'm sorry, I felt sleepy out of a sudden. I slept well last night but it didn't work as it should...

I'm sorry. Please, if I fell asleep again, don't hesitate on waking me up.

—Understood. How's your school life going?

Silver: I'm often surprised on how different it is. Until the day I came to school, I've lived in the depths of the forest of the Valley of Thorns.

For example, electrical appliances. It's very helpful being able to do cleaning and washing without using magic. Even after the sun goes down, I was surprised lights were shut off. Back at home, the forest at night became pitch black.

But, what surprised me the most was... That food was delicious.

Apart from making it by myself, I grew up with the taste of homemade food cooked by my father... So I was deeply moved.

—Has anything else changed since you entered school?

Silver: I did make a lot of friends. Back on the Valley of Thorns, there was only Sebek around, we were the only ones sharing the same age group. Buying something along my classmates during the breaks. That was something I have never experienced in my hometown.

When we go shopping, I often buy whetstones and the latest self-defense tools at sight. While everyone often seeks for sweets and manga.

Though, I was not familiar with fashion and entertainment. That's why Kalim has thaught me a lot and that's been very helful.

Ah! Speaking of which, Kalim sometimes invite to his dorm banquets too... Eating some fruits from the Land of Hot Sands, riding over the maginc carpet, it has all been a very valuable experience. Is interesting to make contact with things you've never seen. With everyone else, it's a completely new experience.

I'm very grateful for my friends.

—Please, tell me about your family.

Silver: I'm an orphan. but I have a father who raised me.

When I was little, I thought he was my real father. When I think about it now, he looks completely different.

Finally, one day, I noticed my father's ears and mine had different shapes. "Why does our ears have different shapes?", I asked him. Then, he explained at me that we were from different races. And, that's how I realised we were not blood connected.

"So, you did notice it!", he laughed a bit confused. When I noticed, I was already jumping out of my house while it was raining...

Eventually, I was found by my father and he brought me back home. After that, I got a fever and fell asleep. My father told me, "I can't help it". He laughed again and took care of me.

He must have been tired of looking for me in the rain, but he didn't leave me until the fever went down.

..... I. The smile of my father that day, is something I don't think I could ever forget.

..... That's it.

That was the father who named me Silver.

When I asked him for the origin of the name, he said "Your hair color!". I got a clear answer. I guess he is that kind of person, after all.

The name given to me by me beloved father, is the one I will continue cherishing forever.

—That's a wonderful parent-child relationship.

In regard of the hair that inspired him to name you, do you have any special care on it?

Silver: I have not taken any special care. I'm not particularly worried about my hairstyle, so I always try to cut it properly. Sometimes I cut it by myself, other times I ask for my father and my friends to do it.

...... By the way, I have been questioned about my hair before by senior Vil. I told him I was not doing anything on it.

I remember being scolded.

Perhaps it was because of that that, after I helped him with the Movie Appreciation Club some time ago, he gave me a special hair care set as a thanking.There were two types of shampoo on it. It also contained some creams and oils I couldn't understand how they worked.

Senior Vil said, "Beauty must be done evercyday"... but hair care is a hassle, it takes too much time and effort.

Certainly my hair had changed, I used what I got at hand, but it seemed I wouldn't be able to continue.

Now that I have finished it,I wash myself with the same soap from head to toe when I take a shower.

“Can you come over ?” Zach, your neighbor, asks over the phone. It was ten o'clock at night. You grunted.

“I’m not home right now. Call back in ten minutes.” I fib. I lay on my bed and hang up the phone. I look at my fan swirl around and around. I take a deep breath and sit up.  

I stretch and wonder why Zach wasn’t out. It was a Saturday night. Those nights are for the boys, normally. Bryce had big house party with a bunch of girls. Hell , I was invited by him. I turned it down. I don’t spend more time that I had to with that creep. Zach came off  sweet ,but I really wasn’t looking for fling or love or  anything the sort this year. I had such a rough last year, relationship wise. I’ve healed from it ,but I need to focus on school this year. I need to get into a good collage and get scholarships.

I looked in the mirror. I was a volleyball team shirt with some acid wash jeans. Also I got my favorite fluffy stocks on that were pastel blue.  I put my hair up into a messy bun.  I walk over to my laptop and put on some frank ocean.  

I heard something like hall hitting my window. I stop my music and tip toe over to the window. I pull my cream colored curtains over to the side. I see Zach standing there throwing pebbles at my window. I must admit he’s got a good smile that made me melt. I couldn’t say not to him.  I open my window and learn out.

“Didn't you get the memo ?” I ask.

“No, you should still over. I mean I’m home alone. We could play mario kart or watch some tv. I just want spend some time with you.” Zach yells. I stand there with a goofy smile on my face. Maybe I should give him a chance.

“Okay. I’ll be there soon.” I shout and I close the window. I skip down the stairs. I look at the living room to see my dad sleeping in his chair as family feud blast though the room. I walk out , unseen. I text my mother before I start walking to Zach’s house. I text that we’re studying for a big test that coming up.

“Boo!” Zach shouts behind me. I collapse onto the driveway as I screak. He laughs.

“That was not funny!” I huff. I get up  and we walk to his house together. “So you know nothing gonna happen tonight , right ?” I ask as we walk in lighten up suburban street.

“I called you hang out not fuck alright ? Nothing wrong with hanging out right y/n?” He question me.

“No, but it’s pretty late to hang out. I mean it’s ten. I’m just asking. “ I said. We walk in silence for few moments until his phone goes off. We stop. I give a eye as he acts like his phone isn’t ringing.

“It’s Bryce. I don’t wanna talk to him .” He explains as we wait for thing ringing to stop. We finally make it to this house. He open the door for me. I mumble a thank you. I go into Zach’s clean house. There is no sign of living in this house. It’s almost like it’s a set or something.  “Hey , you did really good at your volleyball game last night.” He commented.

“Really, thanks. I hope this year we go to state.It’s always been a dream of mine.”I say as I look at the decorated mantel of the clean fireplace. It showed off the athletic awards that zach’s won over the years. There was so many VIP trophies.

“Yeah , state’s always fun. I’ve been a few time with baseball.” He said as he stood by the stairs.  I walked to him. We went up the carpet stairs and went up to what you could describe as a “ man cave.” There was a 64 inch flat screen that was hooked up to the switch with a Wii and a Wii  U unplugged  in a corner. Also seeing that super nintendo near the stair opening with game cartridges stack on top of it.

“OOOoo that’s new. Are you like nintendo fanboy or ?” I asked as he started up the system.

“Yeah , I pray to Miyamoto everynight before bed.” Zach jokes as we sit down. “Let’s get so music going. Background music makes everything better.”  I nod. Some vaporwave music play softly. The Mario Kart theme blast and then get turned down in to a whisper.

I bump along to the theme.  The game gets going. I pick baby Daisy and Zach chooses the og , Mario. I messy going through each course; sightly improving as we go along. Zach expertly going through each course. We watch the clips of our “Best” moments. That mostly showed Zach zooming through the course.

Zach’s arm reaches behind me and his hand lands on my shoulder. I shiver and my heartbeat a little faster. I thought we weren't doing anything tonight. I guess things change.

“You alright y/n” Zach ask softly as he rubs my shoulder. I learn into his chest.

“Yeah, i’m fine.”I mutter as I take a deep breathe. I snuggle more into him. I feel his eyes started my face. I looked up to him., Our eyes connected. His chocolate colored eyes simmered and reflection of the screen showed in his orbs. His eyes moved down to lips for a glance and then went up to my eyes again swiftly. My heart started racing. Is this the moment ?

Zach leaned in. I leaned in too. I closed my eyes. Our lips touch. We kiss for a only a moment. My heart beat faster than ever before. It feels maginceant. I hear a held back moan slip out his mouth. I break up the moment. I get up and straddle him. He hands find a place on my back. Giving a me a rub. I bit my lip. I put my hands behind his neck.

Our lips connected again. Fire bults up in me as we kiss.I grind a little as we kiss. He softly moans as I move. I kiss him harder.He pulls at my waist, almost guiding my action. I feel his boner through his sweatpants. He stops, panting. He licks his lips. I tug at the bottom of his shirt. He takes it off, revealing this six pack that makes me blush hard and sweat starts to form on my forehead from the heat. Will we , you know , do it , tonight ?

My thought is cancel by a ringtone going off.  It’s Zach’s phone. He huffs and picks it up. He answers. He listens to faint voice on the other side of the phone. He seems more pissed off as the voice speaks. He rubs my back at smooth pace.

“Bryce , I can’t. I have to study. My parents are getting mad at me for my chem grade. I really can’t.” He fibs. He listens to bryce respond. He rubs his hands through his hair.

He close his eyes for a moment and takes a breath.

“Sure , i’ll be there.” He said. He throws his phone against the fall. I shutter. “I’m sorry. I didn't mean to scare you.” He hugs me tight and pick me up. He moves me to seat next him.

“Are you going to Bryce’s party ?” I ask kind of  worried.Those party just read as horrible place. He stand up and adjusts his pants.

“Yeah , Can we hang out some other time y/n ?” Zach asks,” Maybe more studious next time or more Mario Kart would be just fine ?”

“Yeah I would like that.” I say as I get up from my spot and to him. I reach up at give him a peck on the lips before I leave.

I walk down the street alone. Only the streets lights guide me with beams of light. I walk into my house. Only to see my dad still asleep on his chair and family feud blasting through the living room. I go to up to my room.

Maybe i do have time for boys this year ?

2020 Goals Review

Here is a list of 2020 Goals that I gave myself I crossed out those that I completed

1. Finish writing Mass Murder 2. Finish updating and writing All Magical, Non-Magical, Beings, and Undead Beings that Exist in the World by Amelia Madore (one of my characters in a series) 3. Finish writing Forced Inheritance Ben Ten AU 4. Decide if I want to make Forced Inheritance into an original story 5. Start writing Book 3 in the Zeis Series 6. Participate in Camp Nano for April and July 7. Win Nanowrimo for 2020 8. Finish collecting all the Korok Seeds in Breath of the Wild 9. Read as many books from my bookcases that I can 10. Pay off my Student Loans 11. Buy and play Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC 12. Get better Internet 13. Rework Isadora the Floating Island to ensure I do not lose interest in it again 14. Figure out what to write for Nanowrimo 2020

So out of all 14 goals I gave myself, I only completed six and half of another one. Sad, but 2020 did not end the same way it started. Because of the Pandemic that took over the world, I lost my previous job in June and went almost two months searching for a new one. Got a new one in the middle of August that had a completely different schedule from my old job but with better pay. I suppose that is half the reason my goals were not met but in truth, I just didn’t do any of it like I wanted because I am lazy... Oh well, time for new goals.

My goals broken down:

1. I did finish Mass Murder and even changed the name to it. It is now called The Gamble. 2. All Magical, Non-Magincal, Beings, and Undead Beings that Exist in the World by Amelia Madore is not complete because I am currently still writing out the information and have started transferring it to World Anvil. 3. I have not finished Forced Inheritance Ben Ten AU, still working on editing Part One as I decided it was not long enough, so adding and editing more to make Part One over 100,000 words, currently the word count is over 67K. 4. I still have not decided on whether or not Forced Inheritance would be made into an Original Story. 5. I start book three of the Zeis Series, its called Demon King’s Move (have to change tag). 6. I wrote for both Camp Nano April and July. 7. I barely won Nanowrimo 2020. My new work schedule made it hard for me to write. 8. Still need to collect all those Korok Seeds in Breath of the Wild 9. I have only read three and a half books out of the sixty or seventy books on my book shelf that I have not read. 10. I did pay off my Student Loans YAY! 11. I bought Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind DLC but have not played it. Reason, none. 12. Got different internet but not much better. 13. Isadora the Floating Island is on the back burner for now. Still unsure what to do about it. 14. I did figure out what to write for Nanowrimo 2020, it was the third book in the Zeis Series, The Demon King’s Move.
