could we hear about "good night, dear void"? 👀 (ty!!!)

"good night, dear void" is the epistolary fic concept that I've been percolating since July, when people were joking about the Sambucky divorce in Thunderbolts and Cap 4

It's fully just speculation for how both those movies might play out, and it's told in notes that Sam and Bucky leave for each other in the apartment, because they aren't really seeing each other. My original idea for it was more comedic, but because I am me, it has devolved into "why aren't you taking care of yourself? FINE I GUESS I'LL DO IT SINCE YOU WON'T!" in various iterations, plus food as a gesture of love. I'm a one-trick pony, truly.

Anyway, here's a small excerpt:

What is the weirdest thing you have seen in someone else’s home?

hey love!!

so, my neighbour told me there was a flat in the house we live in that’s always open. like, door closed but not locked. she said the tenant hadn’t shown up in months and even the police had questioned the other neighbours about him. ofc i didn’t dare to open that door - well, not alone. so when other neighbours confirmed that the guy hadn’t shown up recently, we opened the door to the flat and holy shit. it was dark inside, but we could see that it was just FULL of random stuff, like tables, drawers, tools, bags, clothes, etc. that he had collected from the streets apparently. also by full i mean that we weren’t able to set a foot inside lmao. well we didn’t even want to bc what was worse was the smell!! it smelled like there was a rotting body inside or idk but my neighbours said it was just rotting plants. still, weirdest room i’ve ever seen in my life.
