my take on sagau ... ♡

if you cant tell , my mental sillies make me a sucker for the obsessive cult aspect of sagau (burn me at the stake i guess) but idk the whole "imposter" thing feels weirdddddd i always prefer creator!reader to be like isekai'd into teyvat yk (can you tell i used to be obsessed with the kuroshitsuji time travel au .....) ?? anyways have this while i decide if i want this to be a full series or just a mini series

notes : gn!reader , creator!reader , r is not traveler , they them used , this - like most of my writing - is self indulgent hinted with some projection , bulleted list cause its 4am when im typing this and acrylic nails suck , i mainly refer to reader as either r or creator enjoy <3 i wrote this while listening to this playlist ♡

okay so i feel like the self awareness began longgggg before this takes place ok

starts out with traveler , then albedo , then kaeya , etc

it takes a while but albedo finally finds a way to bring r to teyvat

i imagine that the acolytes can hear r when they play (esp the traveler)

if you're like me and dote on all of the characters you have they eat that shit uppppp bro

anyways so now r is isekai'd into teyvat yayyyy

it takes them a whileeeee to get used to being an all-powerful being cause like .......... ??? social anxiety ?? inability to communicate with neurotypical people ? depressive and manic eps ?????? mood swings ?????

eventually they kinda fall in the swing of things

damn if i was stuck in teyvat id just deal with it. you got some other way out ???

i view the acolytes as being obsessive in nature once r is like ....... there with them ( with due respect , that is the "creator" n all .... )

immediately wanting you to find a suitor ( or multiple )

by like the second month of being in teyvat r is WORNNNNN OUTTTT

everyone basically walks on egg shells around them oHMY GODDDDD

r has to basically beg the acolytes to stop being WEIRDDDDDDDDD

they feel weird being treated like a god ( well ....... )

they do kinda like their dreamy palace tho <3 its nice n has really cozy beds to nap in

their acolytes are also more than eager to nap with them om gee

r is a big fan of hanging out with the twins ( i like to think they're reunited when the creator comes to teyvat <3 ) they've all been to so many diff worlds they have a lot to chat about ( and also the twins are really the only charas to be semi chill around r )

oh ok random but also

r is visiting mondstadt and plays minecraft songs on the lyre and everyone goes CRAZYYYY

"it's their divinity's holy songs!!!!" cue the inner giggling cause its literally just minecraft music you memorized in like middle school

r is lowkey a huge flirt too once they get comfortable in teyvat ( they most likely hope this is just a dream and when they return home if they return home ...... that it'll have no real consequence cause it's EMBARASSINGGGG )

the acolytes basically beg them to find a consort or suitor or whtvr ( or even multiple :thumbsup: )

r tries to be fair and choose like 3 from each nation but cmonnnn ,,,,, wom en fdjfheskrf.vja

genshin makes me [ cries in bisexuality ] i wanna make out with like half of the characters

anyways def lots of fights between the nations about where their aforementioned palace will go ( r decides to station in inazuma , preferably near kokomi's shrine place ) and since r can still use the teleport points , it's fine by them if they wanna visit venti for some dandelion wine or zhongli for tales and tea

overlooking the whole imposter or villain au's i like to think being isekai'd into teyvat would be pretty chill

oooo r def likes to hangout / help out in bakeries n stuff

they're also besties with hu tao ( they kiss sometimes probably )

r and cyno have so many inside jokes pls help

GENSHIN BOYS AS ACADEMIC ENCOUNTERS

author's note; title's a bit fancy, but essentially, it's just some scenarios based off my favorite moments with my classmates and friends twisted just a bit :D new banner for my genshin works for no particular reason, just felt like it. enjoy, everyone!

content notes; gn!reader, use of (name) for reader, established relationship, possible ooc characters, school au, some kinda specific reader scenarios (reader participates in a performing art, reader is scared of public speaking), some hurt/comfort, possible pt.2 if you guys are interested :D

ITTO ♡

you aren't prepared. it wasn't entirely your fault anyways. the teacher had forgotten to remind you that the project came with a presentation

" (name), you're next after kokomi "

you take a deep breath and look over your presentation again.

you've got this, (name)

you keep repeating it as you wait for kokomi's presentation to finish.

you feel a tap on your hand and you flinch. turning your head, your eyes meet itto's.

" hey, (name), you okay? "

you give him a weak thumbs up and turn your head back to kokomi as she finishes up.

you still feel his stare on you as you prepare to go up. you keep reminding yourself that you were fine and you'd do great.

one more deep breath escapes you before your teacher calls you up to present. the second you find yourself in front of the class, your nervousness punches you in the gut

oh, boy

you open your mouth, but before anything can escape, itto raises his hand

" teach, d'ya mind if me and (name) step out for just a sec? "

your teacher gives you a glance before giving itto a nod. itto gets out of his seat and drags you outside the classroom

" heya, sunshine, look at me, " itto says, once you've exited the classroom

you let out a breath before looking at him

" you're okay, okay? deep breaths, deep breaths. you've got this "

he grabs your hands and swings them around to calm you down

" you're super smart, okay? you don't need to worry if you mess up. they'd probably believe anything that you say 'cause you're just that smart! "

he gives you a big smile that helps your nerves

" whenever you're ready, we'll head back in! "

THOMA ♡

you weren't sure what you were expecting when your teacher said she had a fun idea for an activity. maybe a game? a crossword puzzle?

nope, she wanted you guys to write about what you appreciate about some random person in the class. you would be on board with the idea if it was for your friends, but there was a chance you were going to write for someone random

what if you got someone you've never interacted with? or maybe someone who didn't like you?

you silently hope that you grab one of your friends' names while you dig through the bag of names

opening up the paper you grabbed, you sigh in relief as you read a familiar name

your teacher gives you about five minutes to write your appreciation note before you have to hand it over to the person you got

five minutes pass by relatively quick and you hand over your note to your chosen person

you sit back down and spot the note you received placed on your desk

taking your seat, you open up the note and read it

' (name),

hi, thoma here :D there's so much i could say that i appreciate about you, but i wouldn't want to trouble you in reading it all. so, here's what i mainly appreciate about you:

well, to be honest, it's you. just you bring you :) it sounds quite cheesy, but it's true. you really are the light of my life, (name) and i hope it can stay that way ♡

your eyes gloss over the crowd once more before the performance was supposed to begin. once again, you weren't surprised to see that no one you knew was in the crowd

you mentally scold yourself. you were supposed to focused on doing your best, not worrying if anyone bothered to show up

although, it stung a little knowing that all your efforts would only be acknowledged by unknown people

shuffling and small 'excuse me's catches your attention. you look up again and see paimon leading the twins to their seats

once they are seated, they wave to you and you give them a small wave back

you guess you have to do your best now

once your performance finished, you go out to find the trio

" (name), over here! "

you follow the voice to the trio and once you arrive, you give them a smile

" thank you so much for coming. i really appreciate it "

" we wouldn't miss it for anything, " lumine tells you, giving you a hug

" paimon thought you were the best one up there! " paimon says

" you really were, " aether says, hugging you from your side and placing a peck on your cheek

" wow, aether, not in front of paimon, " lumine jokes, covering paimon's eyes

" hey! what not in front of paimon? let paimon see! "

you all laugh as paimon flails around to get lumine's hands off her eyes. the laughter dies down and aether speaks up

" well, let's go celebrate my amazing sunshine's performance with some food "

" paimon agrees! "

" of course you agree, paimon "

I’m happy with diluc but why kokomi this isn’t me jumping on the bandwagon of hating her but I played her trial thing right and I just genuinely didn’t like her playing style. I like her character and story and all but not as a playable character. Now she’s just sitting there looking pretty. My friend and I were talking about this tho A lot of people who weren’t even close to pity got kokomi so we think it’s rigged cause hardly any sales

hmm i think cause i lot of people think a 5 star healer was unnecessary cause theres a lot of 5 star characters that can heal and do decent damage like qiqi and jean also cause the fact that she cant crit,, shes only gonna crit if you build her with crit but shes really mainly a healer,, no yeah im pretty sure a lot of people won their 50/50's on her banner including 2 of my other friends which was weird i think they were trying to give her out to people since her sales were REALLY bad i believe she has the worst sales out of everyone,, also i think she was on the banner to convince some people to pull for her because of the floor 11 corrosion effect which is really fucking hard trust me 😭

What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): Uhm, haha no big reason really I just love old characters and I want more people to love old characters too, also I love underrated characters and lemme tell you until ultimate this zel did not get all the love she deserves, that’s legit it.

What are your favorite aspects of your current muse: Dang I can talk all day about her teasing side, since she can be playfully cute once she feels comfortable enough to bully your character it’s just a whole other side to her that’s always fun to write. Aside from that, I admire her tenacity it’s a lot of fun to write just how much she is willing to do to ensure peace for her kingdom. She’s pretty informal, often referring to people by their names instead of using titles since she feels that being polite 24/7 is not only distancing yourself but also exhausting, she likes to view herself equally with just about everyone!

What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: What is this inspiration you speak of? I HAVE NONE, I JUST DO WHATEVER SINCE INSPIRATION EITHER COMES TO ME OR DOESN’T, WHEN IT DOESN’T I FORCE MYSELF TO WRITE! Although I can say that music and coffee or tea helps a whole lot.

Favorite types of threads: Cute fluffy ship stuff where our characters are just comforting each other and being soft, I like more gentle threads but adventure threads are also a lot of fun too!

Biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: My gnarly prose, I feel like it’s boring or all over the place and messy, I hate it so much! Sometimes, her dialogue can be a pain too... I’m trying to go for a more simple approach now since I’m tired of thinking.
