While not new to anyone familiar with the world of BL dramas that has only expanded since the pandemic, Mile and Apo sparked a curiosity in many, especially because of the grand welcome they received at the Mumbai airport, with fans queuing up for hours to catch a glimpse of the stars, and the interest they garnered online despite being surrounded by some of the biggest names in the fashion and entertainment industry.

So who are Mile and Apo?

Mile Phakphum Romsaithong and Apo Nattawin Wattanagitiphat are actors from Thailand, most popular for their roles as Kinn and Porsche in the hugely successful BL series KinnPorsche (2022).

The success of KinnPorsche catapulted the actors into global stardom with a fandom that expanded across the globe, as evidenced by the warm welcome they received by hundreds of fans in Mumbai. Aside from collecting awards and covers of all top magazines in the country, the main lead actors from the drama also scored a coveted Dior ambassadorship that led them to be invited for the label’s pre-fall 2023 ready-to-wear showcase in Mumbai recently.

La première skin est Ana. Elle est prévue pour une tête Lelutka EvoX.

The first skin is Ana. It is designed for a Lelutka EvoX head.

Dotty offers you 14 tones ranging from Frost to Sunkiss. The skins are velvet compatible.

The pack includes a version with or without eyebrows and add-ons for human lelutka ears (but it works well on elf ears) as well as tattoos for possible problems with the neck but I did not need to 'wear it.

I chose the Blush tone. I added different specific add-ons to this series: rosacea which is a slight coloring of the skin (rosacea is a skin disease). This add-on is sold separataly

I also added pores and very light makeup. Add-ons are offered in several options and opacities.

I also added moles which you can find in the main store.

Note that the skin is offered with a 25% reduction.

What's with the Arrowverse shows and the unofficial one LBGTQ couple per show. Like Tala and Maisie wanted their characters to be a couple but the writers turned it down. Ditto with Supergirl -- it's pretty obvious Melissa and Katie want Kara and Lena to be a couple at this point (but given how certain SuperCorp fans make a habit of cyberbullying the cast I'm not sure I actually want it to happen)

I can’t comment on SG since I’ve only watched the first season.

As for Legends, I’m glad we at least got canon pansexual Charlie. There were only a few small scenes that brought it up but I appreciated them anyway.

I love Tala and Maisie for pushing for this. Their chemistry was so natural. It’s definitely a loss that they were never a couple on the show. 

I personally really want either Zari or Behrad to be bisexual so we can get some rare LGBT muslim rep.

I think they only allow one first time cast director per season (according to Chyler Leigh) and that’s why Jes didn’t direct any episodes this season even though she did the same Workshop with Caity, Katie, etc. I’m pretty sure she’s set to do one next season (same as Chyler for SG), but if Maisie no longer being cast/ not having done the workshop makes it feasible, then yes please!

Oh, good to know! And yes, Jes is supposed to direct in season 6. Caity said something in Stephen’s podcast that made it sound like’s also directing again. 

I feel like a have a memory of Maisie shadowing someone for an episode of Supergirl?

Sophie’s character, Sansa Stark, had a few forced arranged marriages, and never had the chance to fall in love. She doesn’t think her character will find consummate love, but self-love is in the works.

“Sansa doesn’t want to fall in love with anyone; I think she’s trying to fall in love with herself, and that’s the only love that counts.

“I think Arya’s asexual,” Maisie weighed in on her character, to Sophie’s agreeing.

Maybe the idiot branch of the fandom can take a hint from the actress playing the character about what will make Sansa happy.

Maisie’s opinions on Arya does not bode well for Gendrya. I think Gendrya is a long shot myself given GRRM’s comments on the relationship and how they have separate futures.

Is it true Barry only crossed over to help SG with their ratings? Some people say that but others say they're lying?

No one can confirm or deny the reason they made Barry cross over to Supergirl. But considering they started off saying it would never happen and then later it did, something tells me they realized they needed it. And the physical evidence that it worked is in the ratings jump for said crossover. From 1.3 to 1.7 for Barry’s appearance, and then back down to 1.3 after. This told CBS that it wasn’t a long term solution for them, but also told CW that they could make Supergirl work on their network. 

I’m confused with all the info the CW dropped today, maybe you can confirm, is the flash’s 100th episode during the x-over or not?

Alas, I don’t know the answer either. All I know is that this wouldn’t be the first time the crossover has aired in December, so I don’t know why people thought it meant anything for the 100th episode. The crossover was in December for S1 & 2, whereas it’s always been the eighth episode of the season.

Have they confirmed if KL is returning to LOT? I feel like they are doing this up in the air thing like they did when he left Flash and nobody really addressed if/when he’d return months later. It’s weird but it makes me think maybe they don’t know what they want to do with Wally or KL wants to move on to other projects. What are your thoughts?

They haven’t confirmed it, and it’s super suspicious. Amaya literally left the team, and yet Maisie is a confirmed regular for S4 with her picture on the poster. Wally was still on the team, and yet he’s missing from both the season description and the poster. 

I still feel like the Flash writers aren’t stupid enough not to want Kid Flash on their show, even if they didn’t know what to do with him. I mean, they don’t know what to do with half their regulars and they still won’t let them go anywhere. So I have to imagine it’s up to Keiynan.

Do you think the Arrow writers will do a Escape from Supermax storyline in season seven? How long do you think Oliver will stay in prison?

Yeah, I think they’ll have to so that Oliver can put a stop to Diaz and/or the Longbow Hunters. And honestly, I doubt he’ll spend more than two episodes in jail. At max 7, because he’s got to be out for the crossover.

You Kinda summed up all my thoughts on why I'm still iffy on the whole av@lance thing. People were sleeping on the show in seasons 1 and 2 and now suddenly there is a giant fandom of white wlw? I feel like if Kendra had been white the show would have had a lot more of that type of following from season one but I might be wrong. Idk man smells like the toxic clex@/$upercorp fandom thing might come to LoT and I really hope I'm wrong.

(I censored the ship names hope that’s okay) I mean the white wlw fandom has always existed - it basically flocks towards any white, whitewashed or sometimes white-passing/fair-skinned wlw pairing on tv. this includes but is not exclusive to: $upercorp, c0phine, clex@, $anvers, w@yhaught, ny$sara, sho0t and now av@lance. they flock from fandom to fandom because usually someone dies or is written off. and that’s bad, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just annoying having people say for example that they only watched s2 of lot onwards because that completely erases kendra and the interracial relationships that formed and were acknowledged in season one. same with season one of supergirl, which built a lot on kara’s romantic feelings towards james, but a lot of people start with s2 of sg “for the gay”, or whatever (in this case given lena and maggie were introduced in season two), because god forbid they care about the people they refer to as “the hets” but which usually includes at least one interracial pairing - especially with a black person.

there’s a lot of racism within the femmeslash fandom, and it’s why wlwoc aren’t given the same amount of attention. and it extends to the actors, too - how many times have chyler and caity been praised for being lgbtqia allies for portraying, respectively, a lesbian woman and a bisexual woman on their shows? but the actual queer people on the cast - maisie, wentworth, victor and keiynan (I may be missing someone) - are either not acknowledged for not being straight (maisie) or are treated poorly by the show (victor and wentworth) and in any case they’re not lauded by the femmeslash fandom for being lgbtqia activists when they themselves are lgbtqia. and victor’s jewish, wentworth is biracial and keiynan and maisie are both black, so clearly there’s something qwhite interesting going on there.

1/2 At the time a lot of fans thought they were setting up Mick/Amaya romantically. And I feel like the writers were even kind of making it sound like they might go there with them,but they seemed to change course. I have to wonder if it was also partially because of the age difference between Maisie & Dominic (22 years). There is an age difference between Maisie and Nick (14 years) but you can't necessarily tell that looking at them. To be honest the age differences between most of the m/f

2/2 pairings on Lot are kind of messy. Most of the actors are pushing or over 40 while the actresses are usually in their mid to late twenties. I remember a few seasons ago someone actually did the numbers for all the dctv and LOT had the biggest age differences, but SG & Arrow had at least one pairing with a fairly significant age difference between the actors. I think The Flash was only one where the actresses were either older or around the same age as the actors.

Right. What you’re saying is why I actually quite doubt age had anything to do with their decision there (especially since Amaya is actually much older than Mick -tricky age difference shit is the CW’s favorite thing). I really think they just thought Nate and Amaya were a more attractive couple.It’s a CW show. The target demographic is still young women and teenagers and I think they thought that group would be more interested in seeing Amaya with Nate.

Cassiel was born the sole surviving product of the 1995 SG Project -- a project headed by a Deepground scientist named Dr. Seth Alva using a set of ten female subjects, all artificially inseminated (with himself as the ‘father’) and -- combining both the methods of Projects S and G -- injected both the fetuses and their mothers with Jenova cells. Dr. Alva hoped to recreate the Jenova Project in small scale, to earn himself recognition on the level of Hollander and Hojo. As he currently had no access to the being known as Jenova, he was forced to instead use the DNA of the subjects from the G Project, the only thing he did have access to.

Cassiel was the result. All the other women either died of mako poisoning - due to some of the subjects being Deepground SOLDIERS -  or of childbirth complications, and their infants died as well -- except Cassiel. Dubbed ‘Subject SG’, he was raised impersonally by Alva and then immediately placed into Deepground training once old enough. He was trained under a Tsviet named Zeleny the Viridian and watched over by one of the four Restrictors of the Lost Force, Nyx. He was never a Restrictor himself, and he was never chipped like other Deepground soldiers, but he was designated an Uncolored Tsviet. His abilities were relatively unremarkable in comparison to other projects in Deepground, but Dr. Alva kept him simply under observation to see whether or not he would degrade or break down like the other experiments.

He was fourteen years old when Meteorfall occurred. Though hidden underground and with Jenova cells not as strong, the Reunion affected Cassiel (due in part to several injuries in the past having slowly begun the degradation process), causing him to be massively ill and begin to degrade more quickly and dramatically, thanks to his being created from cells from Project G. During this time, Dr. Alva studied him, and when the effects nearly killed Cassiel, Alva declared the project a failure. However, Cassiel was able to recover, thanks both to the defeat of Sephiroth and an injection of Jenova cells (stolen from Hojo’s labs after his resignation) to stabilize him. Dr. Alva nonetheless did not wish to continue his research and abandoned Cassiel to Nyx and Zeleny to do with as they pleased.

During Meteorfall, Deepground was sealed off, and quickly fell into chaos, the Restrictors ruling with an iron fist and the Tsviets attempting to foment rebellion. Nyx and Zeleny forced Cassiel into hiding during this time, concerned for his still poor health and not wanting him to be used in the conflict (as he had no control chip), and Nyx gave him discs containing all the information on Project G and Genesis to keep safe.

Eventually, Cassiel received a video message from Zeleny, informing him of Nyx’s death and that if he received the message, she was dead as well -- she explained Weiss and his Tsviets’ coup against the Restrictors, and warned him to remain in hiding, as the other Tsviets would likely kill him, given his history.

Not quite a year later, the Tsviets and Deepground broke out of Sector 0 and were subsequently defeated by the WRO. Cassiel remained in hiding during all this, and only ventured out once the sector was empty. Deciding it was safest for him -- being who and what he was -- to remain in the sector, he did so. Though it was ostensibly to make sure no further monsters from Deepground escaped and harmed people, he considered himself one of these monsters...and did not want to cause anyone harm, either.

Lollapalooza 2019 Lineup: 10 Artists We Hope to See in Grant Park

Festival season is on the cusp of hitting full swing, with Coachella and Lollapalooza bookending our favorite months of the year. We still have some time before August hits, but in the spirit of having something to look forward to, we have predicted ten artists who we hope will be included in the 2019 Lollapalooza lineup. Hit up your old roommate who lives in Chicago and secure a place to stay, because if our forecast is correct, you will not want to miss this one. Based on the all of the artists we have been following this year, here are our 2019 Lollapalooza lineup predictions.  

King Princess

The fiercely unfiltered king of pop seems to be on a roll lately, scheduled to play Coachella, Boston Calling, The Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo and Firefly—pretty much every major festival offered in the US this coming summer. We hope King Princess makes it onto the Lolla list as well, because we love it when she plays “1950.”

If you love bedroom pop, odds are you’ve got a thing for boy pablo. The Norwegian lovechild of Mac DeMarco and Omar Apollo, boy pablo is hard to quit once you’ve started. Scheduled to play Coachella this April, we’ve got a hunch that boy pablo will also be gracing the Lollapalooza stage this year.

Ella Mai

The rising R&B songstress stole our hearts with her self-titled album earlier this year, and swept awards season with a Grammy for Best R&B Song and a nomination for British Breakthrough Act. Ella Mai will be stateside in the days leading up to Lollapalooza, playing Mo Pop Festival in Detroit. We’re taking that as a sign she’ll be hitting Lolla as well.

Conan Gray

We have developed a serious crush on Conan Gray over the past year. The YouTuber-turned-pop sensation dropped jaws in 2018 with his Sunset Season EP, using his sense of humor and powerful voice to comment on issues plaguing the modern coming of age story. 2019 has seen Gray make his late night television debut, hitting the tour circuit hard with another one of our favorites, girl in red.

Juice WRLD

If you’re unsure about who Juice WRLD is, let us assure you—you’ve heard his music. His song “Lucid Dreams” is closing in on a billion streams on Spotify alone, and his latest album Death Race for Love has just as much potential to go viral. His sad boi, autotune-heavy music is a hybrid of pop and hip-hop and will get you deep in your feels. Currently on tour with Nicki Minaj, Juice WRLD is an undeniably strong candidate for Lollapalooza 2019. Did we mention that he is from Chicago?

Lennon Stella

Lennon Stella first graced the internet doing covers with her sister as part of the duo Lennon & Maisy. With a decade of experience and an unbelievable glow-up under her belt, Stella is now pursuing her solo career (and absolutely killing it might we add). Stella’s debut EP Love, me showcases her distinctly husky vocals and dark pop sensibilities. Cross your fingers for a Lollapalooza performance from the rising songstress.

SG Lewis

Electronic producer, songwriter, and crowd favorite SG Lewis has been hard at work, most recently releasing his single “Throwaway” with Clairo. Lewis has amassed millions of streams across platforms and is set to play Coachella this year, with fans eagerly anticipating his danceable, high energy set. We’re hoping to catch him at Lolla before he heads to overseas to play Boardmasters Festival in the UK.

Dominic Fike

The man that sparked a label bidding war before ever releasing music is now playing live. Dominic Fike has accumulated quite the cult following since the release of his debut EP, Don’t Forget About Me, Demos but remained shrouded in mystery until recently playing his first shows. He doesn’t currently have tour dates released to the public, but we’re hoping to see him play in Chicago this August.

Pink Sweat$

To say that Pink Sweat$ is our hero is an understatement. The unapologetically sensitive R&B singer is vocal silly putty, with the ability to hit impressive falsetto notes with ease. His artistic vision comes in the full package, from sonic delights to moving music videos. Pink Sweat$ needs to play Lollapalooza just so we can see the pink outfit he puts together for his performance.

Tierra Whack

Let’s be honest—it’s Whack’s World now. Tierra Whack both confused and delighted audiences with her debut concept album Whack World and accompanying collection of music videos. Since then, Whack has been playing shows nonstop, and we have a feeling she isn’t going to stop at Coachella.
