Yusuf Dahiru Liman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been sacked by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja. Liman was a member representing Makera Constituency in Kaduna South Local Government Area. The Court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of Return given to the speaker and conduct fresh elections in 5 polling units. Hon. Solomon Katuka of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had filed a petition before the tribunal challenging the election of the Speaker, Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) representing Makera Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly. Katuka said that there were gross irregularities regarding the election of the Speaker and insisted that he won the election. The Tribunal had in September, nullified the election of the Speaker and ordered a rerun in 42 polling units in 5 Wards. However; the Speaker, the APC and INEC appealed against the judgment of the tribunal and Solomon Katuka of the PDP filed a cross-appeal seeking an outright declaration. The three-member panel led by Justice I. O Adejumo, Justice A. O Oyetula, and Justice P. A Obiora in a unanimous decision quashed the decision of the tribunal ordering a rerun in 42 polling units. The Appeal Court granted the prayers of the PDP candidate, Hon. Solomon Katuka, and ordered a rerun in 5 polling units in the constituency.

Boy some stuff has happened to Zeal.

We were very stupid and made camp next to an Ancient Green Dragon lair, to make a very long story short. Xanthanel came and saved our asses because it WAS going to be a TPK otherwise. Xan came in and casted Enlarge on themselves (putting them at 18ft tall) so they could go toe to toe with this 30ft tall dragon - it was full on a KAIJU BATTLE.

We teleported away with a scroll we found and managed to also teleport Xan to us, after Zeal realized his magic wasn't working. They were unconscious (and the DM had ME ROLL THEIR DEATH SAVES) so our paladin put one of his last Lay On Hands into him to wake him up. Sooooo Xan took a long rest with us after that sdjkgfdgd they were super weak and Z was very panicky the whole time.

This has created some problems because Xan is meant to not be seen, and their actions has basically given some other entities permission to cross boundaries that were not meant to be crossed. I don't know for sure but I don't imagine Io/Tiamat/Bahamut are very happy about what's occurred. Lathander has given Z and Xan an ultimatum that if Z doesn't bring them the big magic item we're looking for, they're going to cut off the connection they have. STAKES

Observer to sue INEC over Kaduna guber poll

Former assistant secretary of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Midat Joseph, has threatened to sue the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), if the real result of the Kaduna governorship election is not uploaded on the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) within one week. The election observer and publisher of Kakaki Reporters described the Kaduna gubernatorial election as a charade, stating that different election results were uploaded on the IREV. Addressing journalists in Abuja yesterday, Joseph called for the prosecution of the perpetrators of electoral fraud, insisting that INEC should review the entire results of the election in Kaduna. He observed that Kaduna people’s votes did not reflect in the IReV, as the certified copies with political parties’ agents were entirely different from what the commission uploaded. He said: “The commission should review the results because it is the INEC staff that are aiding politicians to rig the elections. In Makera Ward of Kaduna South Local Council, soldiers took over the collation centre and journalists were denied entrance.” “This country must be salvaged because many people may no longer want to vote if this kind of injustice is allowed to stand. This crime cannot be allowed to go freely. If such injustice is not addressed, I will go to court to ensure that those who perpetrated such evil are prosecuted.” According to him, irregularity is spread across more than 20 polling units in the Kaduna governorship and House of Assembly election results. “If this democracy must thrive, the sanctity of the ballot must be upheld at all times.
