between Pact Commander and Warrior of Light, WoL has much stronger mental fortitude.

only because WoL have amazing support system. WoL's immediate circle support them fully, has expressed so clearly, has acted thus. In each expansion, there will always moments where NPC (be it from scions, other NPC, or even random NPC) shares heart-to-heart moments with WoL. share their feelings, hear their thoughts. Your friends is there for you, even your enemies believes in you, even the star Herself will catch your tears. The bonds WoL forged between lives they encounter in their journey made them strong, strong enough to stand in the face of Universal Despair.

Commander... not so much. It was battle after battle. when the smokes clear, everyone disperse to do whatever on their own. It seems like they gave away a bit of themselves until theres nothing left. The only friend commander has that 100% trusted and support them is killed and the narrative never allow cmdr grief for him. they dont know when will they ran out of their 'it is what it is' and what will they do when that time came. They cant stop, if they stop, the despair will catch up to them. They have to keep running.

I think the saddest thing about Alina is that she was villianised when she was just trying to be whole. She didn't want the power of the stag and it was forced upon her (although she did also gain it anyway for granting mercy). Then, again, she took the whip's life because it was going to die anyway due to the Darkling. This caused her to feel unbalanced because she didn't have the last piece of the matching set. And this is treated as greed! as a horrible thing and a sign that she's going power hungry when in reality she just feels unbalanced. It makes sense that she wants a matching set! It's like an impulse she can't ignore, to make herself whole.

I see so many people pitting Stan and Ford against each other and it makes me so sad. Yeah I have a favorite twin, but I'm not going to say that Stan is a perfect angel with no flaws. And Ford pisses me off a good majority of the time, but I don't think he's a Bad Guy who should be shoved off a cliff.

It seems like a lot of times people forget that they're both amazing BECAUSE they're flawed. Stan is amazing BECAUSE he's a bumbling idiot with abandonment issues. Ford is amazing BECAUSE he's an egotistical guy with a superiority complex. They both have hearts of gold and a deep love for their family.

Stan might be my favorite, and I do have very specific beef with Ford, but you know what? When it comes down to it, I love these dorky old men and I wouldn't want them to be any different.
