Finished reading Chainsaw Man. I gotta say, this was the most brutal, unusual and insane manga I’ve ever read but i loved it so much. Especially the ending. Also Makima was one of the most interesting characters I’ve ever seen, along with the others too ofc. The story and the drawings were amazing. Totally recommending it! (*^ω^)

Makima

It is obvious that the relationship between Makima and Denji unhealthy because no one treated him kindly except maybe his dead mother, and Makima knew about that. So she started to manipulate Denji, pretending that she takes care of him, and he immediately falls in love with her because he has seen Makima as his savior.  
He immediately falls for the first person who treats him well, and this is such naivety,  but I am not going to judge him because the same with me.

• the sexy demon girl who works with the protag? isn’t a love interest, they have a wholesome platonic relationship
• dark haired experienced guy who shows the main character the ropes? there isn’t even a drop of the whole rival i-can’t-lose-to-him schtick. he does the cooking for demon girl and chainsaw boy and pays the rent for their joint apartment
• power of friendship and talk-no-jutsu saving the day? not in this manga baby

go read chainsaw man, it’s guaranteed to make you cry and ruin your day
