Of course tumblr deleted my initial draft. Go figure lol.

My blorbo is Yuri Katsuki from Yuri on Ice. He is a disaster bi with generalized anxiety disorder and I love him lots.

Tbh my first impression is he was a tough guy that faced his insecurities every day. While I still think he does, I feel for him that he doesn’t have fellow anxiety buds that can support him. He is a kid growing up too fast.

My favorite moment is the pole dancing scene. Originally I said the rings but realized the scene is so iconic in how Yuri wins Victor over and plants the seeds for their relationship unknowingly.

I’d like to see a story that talks about Yuri’s college days, if he made friend and who his professors are.

Unpopular opinion: Yuri has been conditioned to not talk about his feelings. His parents mean well but don’t know how to communicate. And that is why he shuts down after his dog Vicchan dies.

Favorite relationship is Yuri and Makkachin. The poodle loves Yuri on first sight and gives him so many kisses.

My headcanon is Yuri doesn’t like tropical climates.

Quarantined Prompts

Four outfits lay in the rejected pile at Yuuri’s feet. Normally clothes were of little concern for him. His skating costumes had always been picked by Celestino or Victor and his every day outfits were a combination of whatever he pulled from his drawers first. Sometimes, Victor took over the task of dressing him for regular life as well, an act of true love that Yuuri always appreciated.

Today was different though.

Today Victor was finally returning home after a week away working on publicity for his new line of coach’s gear. Yes, Victor Nikiforov had gone from fashion skating icon to the icon of coach’s fashion and had jumped at the chance to design his own line of stylish rink side coats and hats. (There was even a nod to Yakov’s truly unforgettable hat, which had been “accidentally” destroyed by Yurio.)

Today, Yuuri was determined to dress in a way that would make Victor’s eyes go wide and his smile go crooked, a special expression that only Yuuri could pull onto his husband’s perfect face. It would require a specific mix of perfectly tailored and slightly too tight and no matter what articles Yuuri tried to combine on his body, he simply couldn’t get it right.

Frowning at his nearly naked reflection, Yuuri wondered if showing up in just his boxer briefs would do the trick. His face flushed with the embarrassing thought as a giggle escaped him. Victor the husband would probably appreciate the easy access, while Victor the coach would be ready to strangle Yuuri over the need to wrangle the post exposure media circus.

A ding on his phone alerted Yuuri to the fact that he was running out of time. Victor was due to arrive within an hour and he needed to have clothes on before he could leave for the airport. Sighing heavily, Yuuri scanned the discarded articles and tried to visualize a combination that might work.

Tiptoeing into the doorway, Victor grinned at the sight of his husband’s gorgeous butt and all of the exposed skin that Yuuri wasn’t covering. Makkachin had been bribed at the door with the biggest dog bone Victor could find on his way home from the airport, a tool to keep their furbaby occupied while Victor made up for the last seven days of being deprived of Yuuri’s touch.

Letting out a low whistle, Victor jumped when Yuuri screamed. “It’s just me!” he yelled, throwing his hands into the air while biting back his laughter.

“What are you doing here?!” Tripping on his own feet, Yuuri’s back crashed into the open closet door.

The opportunity to cage in his barely covered husband was too tempting and Victor crossed the room to lean into Yuuri’s space and trap him against the door. “Got an earlier flight.” Smirking, Victor hooked a finger in the band of Yuuri’s underwear and snapped it. “What are you doing here?” Nodding toward the pile of clothes, Victor smiled when Yuuri blushed.

Nervous excitement rippled through Yuuri as Victor’s hand crept around his waist and settled at his lower back. “I was trying to look nice... you know for when I picked you up... at the airport.”

“You’re the most beautiful thing I have ever seen...” Kissing him before Yuuri could argue, Victor laughed when Yuuri still attempted to protest. “Being greeted by this,” Victor pinched Yuuri’s butt, “is way better than any dressed version of you.”

“Ridiculous,” teased Yuuri, scrunching his nose before yanking Victor back into another kiss and laughing as Victor continued to pinch him just because he could.
