#mako protection squad
Text
GUYS. you need to sit down and listen to me right now. I had another idea for the 100yr war mako aus but I didn’t want to add any more to that longass fucking post but. but zuko+azula/mako+bolin swap. not really swap but like. mako and bolin take the royals’ place. now ik this doesn’t make sense but !!!
okay so dad is still ek. how does that work? well ozai and iroh have a sister named naoki now, apparently. naoki runs away b4 azulon dies to go live w handsome earthbender (out of want for rebellion more than love, despite what san thought), but then azulon dies and she knows that his wasn’t a natural death. she’s got 2 kids and she wants them to be safe, so back to the palace we go! sorry san, you get to stay in your backwater town. the princess returns… with two half-breeds⁉️⁉️ the fn is enraged, and naoki, to avoid exile, claims she was assaulted and impregnated twice by an ek brute. the fn easily buys it, not wanting to look closer.
but her family is still scorned, especially by ozai, and she grows to resent her sons more than she had before (because of typical fn conditioning n propaganda), forcing bolin to live as a nonbender and pushing mako to his absolute limits. she ends up growing paranoid of ozai as well, after he ascended the throne and makes remarks about how her pulling another disappearing act would put the nation at ease, and kills him with poison similar to ursa’s. iroh is still gone, no one able to contact him to return home for his brother’s funeral. ozai doesn’t have any heirs here btw—it’s just lu ten, mako, n bolin.
naoki grows crueler and pushes mako to his limits, still demanding more. when he is unable to continue surpassing perfection, she sets her eyes on bolin. mako deflects the worst of her attentions onto himself, but she still trains bolin for a future as an infiltrator the the ek army, so that he’ll use his bending to kill whatever unit/squad he’s placed in, mako coming in to make it look like firebending casualties.
mako takes care of bolin as best he can, but living up to naoki’s expectations lead him to develop an apathetic exterior, conditioning himself to commit acts of war indiscriminately and without flinching. he becomes analytical, cold, and unsympathetic. he tries, at one point, to get annoyed by bolin’s ‘incompetence’, but it ends up just being a show he performs for naoki, to cover up that bolin was his one soft spot.
because of his apathy, bolin grows to resent him, training harder and distancing himself from his ‘machine’ brother. naoki only worsens the rift, tearing into bolin for not being born a firebender and mako for not being a natural prodigy with his bending like bolin, pitting them against each other like ozai did with zuko and azula.
neither of them actually get banished by canon (still 14+15 like zuko and azula) because mako knows to hold his tongue and bolin follows his example out of spite. however, when zhao proves to be incompetent after the avatar’s existence is revealed on the solstice, bolin and mako are sent to retrieve him, much to both their chagrin. mako has, over time, grown out of his desire to protect bolin and into a wariness of his bending. bolin just hates mako’s guts. they want to be on opposite sides of the palace again, but they are efficient. they would have probably been unstoppable, capturing the avatar within the first week, if that was actually what naoki wanted to happen.
she knew what was said about ‘impure blood’ being the next to take the throne of the fn, and she knew bolin and mako were talented, dangerous together. she knew there was no way they would be dying on their search without any… outside help, which she was happy to provide. and it would paint a lovely picture for her citizens; the firelord’s sons, despite their tragic heritage, loyally sacrificed their lives in facing the evil avatar for the sake of their nation’s prosperity and goals. check, check, check, on the propaganda list and an easy way to clear the air of nasty whispers. who would gossip about a grieving mother seeking comfort in a loyal consort, and just happening to sire new, fully fn heirs?
so instead of zuko’s banishment causing problems, it’s the fact that everyone literally wants them dead. also, bending brothers in fn regalia… was havin thoughts,,, thinking thoughts,,,
but anyway the avatar is suddenly the least of their worries when there are literally assassins everywhere. at first, they think the other nations know about their voyage and are sending troops to try and dispose of them, but when mako inspects the bodies one day he discovers… (dramatic reveal) the corpses of a specialized fn assassination unit that answers directly to the firelord. he’s not naive enough to hope they went rogue—he was no stranger to their mother’s hatred of them.
he doesn’t tell bolin, obviously, knowing it’s easier to let his brother believe whatever he told himself after the first attack, but suddenly protecting bolin is priority no. 1. and no. 2 after that? they can’t, under any circumstances, go home, until naoki is gone. she’s fanatic, at this point, set on destroying the ek as ‘revenge’ (kind of like amon; fake story, real hatred. her revenge is revenge, but it’s for ruining her reputation, not .. yk) and mako knows uncle ozai’s death wasn’t a natural misfortune as they were told. he took after his mother more than his father, after all. he had her brains and her eye for patterns.
the hunt for the avatar turns into a desperate ruse. they’re on his trail, almost there, but mako missteps during the battle, completely understandably and due to the avatar’s interference entirely, and they are thus unable to capture him, bolin gets angrier, not able to put his finger on why mako is throwing every battle, or what’s throwing him, but he doesn’t say anything because he doesn’t really want to go back to caldera.
I think mako would still take over ba sing se. bolin plays up his charm and naïveté, lulling long feng into a sense of security while mako spreads his influence. when mako sits and long feng bows, bolin is at the throne’s side, seething. the earth is his domain, and the one time his earth affiliation is a good thing, mako steals it and sits proudly as though he has suffered through countless scolding for not being born a firebender.
in the caverns, instead of being forced to choose between helping fn or the gaang, bolin attacks with the dai li, channeling his rage into each boulder, until mako turns on him. lightning is in his fingertips, swirling (mother was always willing to spare a tilt of her lips for that, he thinks bitterly) threateningly at bolin. lightning is the only thing mako has ever been able to make that bolin could not make himself impervious to.
whole dramatic scene where mako asks if bolin wants to be free or to return to a mother who wants them dead. she doesn’t want us dead, you’re crazy! what about those assassins she’s been sending? I feel like that’s a pretty clear message, and it sure isn’t ‘I love you’.
the dai li are suspended, unsure which brother to listen to. mako demands they restrain bolin, bolin demands mako be captured. bolin is the earth, and mako is the fire. ultimately, it is the charms of the younger brother they adhere to. mako is captured in earth kind of the same way azula was to the gutter in the finale—unable to use lightning without harming himself and roaring fire at anyone who got close. mako is screaming at bolin that he doesn’t understand what he’s doing, mako’s job is to protect them both and his job is impossible to do like this. maybe even,, crying. maybe even,,, disheveled. maybe even,,, unstable looking,,, maybe even reflecting azula’s breakdown in the finale,,, bolin turns a deaf ear.
but rock was never impervious to lightning, as bolin had previously realized, and the charged electricity was still buzzing, tightly packed, beneath mako’s skin. it hurts, and he’s screaming with the pain as the rock is shattered, but mako gets out and clobbers bolin in the head with a chunk of rock he picked up, covered in lightning burns and twitching, barely standing.
he calls off the dai li (and they have no one to listen to but him now), tells one of them to let his stupid fucking uncle go, get his brother sedated until mako wakes up again, and promptly passes the fuck out.
I don’t have the rest of the series fleshed out from there but that’s basically the idea. I’m still going really ultra insane about mako so. perhaps expect more to come.

Random yet brilliant GX/Avatar au thoughts I had after rewatching ATLA and watching LOK for the first time:
Idk if I'll ever actually write this but if I did I'd use the Japanese names because obviously they'd fit in better here but for the purposes of my random bullshit and by being my default names I'm still using the dub names in my notes lol
___
- Obviously Jaden's the Avatar lol. Avatar Jaden of the Fire Nation (since he's a big fan of red and all 🤭)
- Fire Prince Chazz, Lightningbender ⚡⚡⚡
- Dragons are a thing so Light and Darkness Dragon anyone?? 👀👀
- Atticus is a Waterbender, but Nightshroud is a Bloodbender 👻
- Atty and Lex are prince and princess of the Northern Water Tribe
- Alexis is also a Waterbender but since in the North it's forbidden for women to learn Waterbending except for healing purposes (at least it is in ATLA, clearly that's not the case anymore in LOK since y'know, Eska. But this is my brain I can use whatever lore I want aksksk), Atticus taught her how to Waterbend himself in secret 🤫
- Zane and Syrus are mixed nations like Mako and Bolin, Zane is a Metalbender but Sy is a Waterbender
- Syrus specializes in healing, not combat. I imagine Zane treats him basically like he's a helpless non-bender as a result. But in that mean basically telling him he's useless way that he would, not in a protective brother kind of way. He understands it's a very valuable skill but really wished his brother could fight and fend for himself so he didn't have to be protected all the time.
- Very high concentration of Earth Kingdom squad members lol
- Bastion gives me Earth Kingdom vibes but also I feel like he would be a Waterbender because Water Dragon 🤔 can't decide 🤔
- Jim's Earth Kingdom but a non-bender. I imagine in the equivalent to the accident that lost him his eye as a kid he just went blind. Shirley is his seeing eye Crocogator 🐊 (y'know, since basically all the animals are hybrids 🤭 i know Catgators and Crococats exist but this is funnier and I can make jokes about her totally just being a normal Croc that Jim's passing off as a cross between a Catgator and a Crococat 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭)
- Jim's a mega badass swordsman though even with the blindness. Wouldn't be surprised if he had some Earthbending power lying dormant inside him, like a fossil waiting to be unearthed (no pun intended 🤭), but he's more than content to be a regular human, he doesn't need bending to enjoy his life.
- Hassleberry's 100% an Earthbender. Dude can probably even Lavabend but that's a big maybe. (I mean volcanoes helped kill the dinosaurs and all too so)
- My guy Crowler teaches at the University of Ba Sing Se and if he's a bender he's probably a Metalbender (cuz y'know, Ancient Gears. I am taking their decks somewhat into account here 🤭), probably a member of the White Lotus
- Sheppard's got that Airbending Master status babyyyy, also the current Grand Lotus, just chilling with his non-bending wife Dorothy 😌
- Slade vs. Chazz in a fucking Agni Kai, a la episode 35 !! (🤜🔥 🔥⚡🤛)
- Jaden has a Firebending block similar to Zuko at some point, but because his fire comes from his passion, not hate. In his emo era his passion is gone and he has to find it again and reignite his inner fire!
- Jesse's got those Earth Kingdom green eyes, probably from the Earth Kingdom, but I think he has some Air Nomad heritage in there. He's very connected to his spirituality and the spirit world. Kinda gives me Jinora vibes in that area, he definitely is a very spirit heavy guy. Crystal Beasts, am I right?
- Jesse could've been the Avatar if the cycle wasn't up to fire at the time. (Literally forget any and all timelines none of that matters this isn't a crossover we're talking about. Full au so continuity be damned! All that matters is that the Avatar cycle is now at fire 🔥)
- Axel's Fire Nation I mean c'mon his whole thing is fire aksksk, strong Firebender and probably in the Fire Nation Army too somewhere. A good man though, a very honorable and just guy, not a shitty shitty bad Firebender as is the general consensus in the world about Firebenders most of the time it seems.
- Aster also gives me Water Tribe vibes but like only kinda, he's hard to nail down element wise...... 🤔 he's got the blue eyes so I'm gonna say Water Tribe atm we'll see if my brain agrees with that later. Whether North or South idk, I'm still on the fence about him being a Waterbender but water is my favorite so not gonna complain about making more Waterbenders..... 🤔
- His dad was a non-bender and was 100% killed by a Firebender though. That would cause issues with him and Jaden since Jaden is a Firebender Avatar. Oof there you go, Aster's whole like fucking "you can't hide from destiny" batman era bullshit?? He's going around beating up Firebenders because he doesn't know who exactly killed his father ooooooooo 👀👀👀 (I guess kinda like Katara I guess in a way but also not really I mean she saw the guy who did it, not that she knew exactly who he was without Zuko's help figuring that out but shhhhh remember none of that's important right now 🤫)
- Dark Spirit Yubel ???? 👀👀👀👀👀
- DARK AVATAR SUPREME KING PAST LIFE !?!?!?
- Winged Kuriboh spirit guide 👀👀👀
- oof Adrian as a bad guy Airbender now that's a yikes idea. Sorry Air Nomads, somebody's not a good noodle.
- Chumley once again representing the Earth Kingdom
- Bro not sure about Banner..... so many options.....
- Earth King Kagemaru (bro those guys are almost always shady bitches whether it's the Earth monarch or the Dai Li bro we can NEVER trust the Dai Li)
- y'all Banner is so Earth Kingdom but he's also giving me Fire Nation, like aesthetically and vibes wise he could be either. But also because of his like alchemy background and straight up making a homunculous for himself and shit like that he's also giving me secret Bloodbender I'm literally on so many fences with this guy I can't decide 😭
- Also totally in touch with some spirits and stuff, totally dies and passes into the spirit world to continue existing there like Iroh did so Jaden can talk to him like the ghost we all know and love like another sort of spirit guide and Pharaoh can follow Jaden and crew around afterwords aksksk
- Stormshipping and Spiritshipping all over the damn place! It's me. You knew that was going to be a thing here.
___
That's all I got at the moment. Like I said I don't know if I'd ever actually write this, I know I have way too much on my plate right now to even think about this in a more on the table way than this but my brain won't stop so I have to indulge aksksk
Let me know y'alls thoughts if you got any I'm just messing around here really so lord knows 🤭 anyway if I come up with anything else maybe I'll add it later but for now holy shit guys isn't my mind a wild and crazy place??? 😜😂😅

Idk if your still takin the AU asks, but I've been slowly building an AU where the Kamados have a sixth sense. In summary, Tanjiro sees ghosts and acquires many ghost friends over the course of canon (including some very angry demons and former Hashira who want to see him punch Muzan in the face)
!! oh Hellyeah ill still take these!!! [cracks knuckles] ill see what i can do!
the amount of time it takes a ghost to manifest post-death depends on the person-- sometimes its Immediate, other times they Take A While if they're particularly stubborn about realizing it. the amount he can see them changes depending on how focused he is-- being clear and legible when he's looking for them or extremely tired, or barely a whisper if he's in Go Time mode. they cant interact Much physically-- the most they have is Mild Ghost Shenanigans if they try really hard.
so obviously the interludes with tanjiro's family showing up are just For Real instead of Ambiguously Metaphorical. theyre the first to show up, and offer moral support occasionally :)! [they primarily tag along with nezuko to keep her company... and also to maybe possibly help her wake up more. theyre worried about her :( ] this is followed by sabito and makomo, who are Slightly more active and tag along to keep an eye on him and make sure he stays safe. (they were originally surprised tan could Continue Seeing Them and were originally going to just fade off with their work done, but... well, they felt compelled to stay. something about this kid, yknow.)
of course, not every ghost is exactly Friendly. like the swamp demon for example. this is where sabi+mako come in! Tanjiro Protection Squad. tanjiro cant exactly fight a ghost even if he Can see them, so they have to take care of it. and they do a damn good job of it. ...also members of the Tan Protection Squad is the Kamado Family, which the fox duo were a little concerned about, but its Shocking how effective a scolding from a Genuinely Disappointed Mother (+Equally Disappointed Children) can be to disarming a ghost. even with the protection squad on duty though, tanjiro is actually Pretty Good at dealing with Ghost Shenanigans because. hes him. its hard to feel spite over someone who genuinely cares so much, against someone who sympathizes even with creatures like demons. Hes Got Such Kind Baby Eyes. a lot of the time, ghosts are free to just... pass on. some stick around, some dont, but they're usually offered at least some kind of peace.
i cannot even fucking Imagine the chaos that happens when they accidentally run into muzan in the city.
ghosts dont just tether to tanjiro! sometimes he will meet someone and they'll have several ghosts following them about. they dont always speak to them, but he can Feel them-- how they're feeling, what they're holding onto. he has a reputation in the corps for mysteriously appearing, saying something ominous (yet oddly reassuring) or bringing a gift and Leaving... and then you realize youve never spoken to him before, how did he know about your favorite food? favorite animal? where did he learn this..?
on a similar line, whenever a ghost decides to tag along (temporary or otherwise,) tanjiro tends to pick up little trinkets or charms for them that they'd like. it feels polite somehow. they seem to like it, anyway. this means he has little charms on his belt and such all the time! :) he doesnt have a lot of space on him to carry them with, so he rotates them every so often (with a few exceptions he keeps on him at all times.)
its a heavy burden to bear, but he can handle it. he's the eldest son, after all.
. anyway this is a ridiculously fun concept-- i tried to keep it to Important Things(tm) but i am constantly in a state of doing Everything All The Time Always ! so theres a handful of misc stuff under th cut <33
rengoku becomes part of the Permanent Ghost Squad, but he kinda just... haunts Everybody, Always. all those rengoku flashbacks/manifestations? Theyre Canon Now. rengoku jumpscare <33
muzan has a ridiculous amount of ghosts tagged onto him-- theres so many of them you can't really tell where one starts and another ends, just that they are truly, deeply enraged. he seems entirely unbothered.
yoriichi is a bit of a fickle ghost. he rarely shows up-- only in those echoes and flashbacks + when tanjiro utilizes sunbreathing. he tends to wordlessly leave immediately after. (maybe theres some sort of lingering guilt there...)
. anyway i just think that Team Ghost Gang should get the chance to kick the shit out of muzan post-canon. they deserve it. ghost violence <33

Mass Effect 1 replay, part 1 of Armstrong Nebula:
Hackett
-As always, Hackett wastes no time appealing to Shepard as a soldier
-Saren's the top priority, but please take a break to kill some geth on the side
-Is there some reason Hackett can't call Shepard before they enter a cluster or system? You'd think a geth invasion would warrant a heads up, since Saren is allied with the geth
-If you take the renegade option, you get points. No points if you take paragon or investigate
Hong
-Casbin is a Sanctuary world. No one should visit due to its potential for life. So of course Shepard immediately gets out the mako.
-This is the real reason why Hackett called Shepard, isn't it? A spectre can ignore the orders against going to Sanctuary worlds. The Alliance can't.
-This is by far the worst world to drive the mako on so far
-If the geth dropship dropped all their reinforcements at once, I might have trouble. Thank you for only dropping a few at a time.
-You'd think Tali would have some extra commentary, but no. Liara has priority.
Vamshi
-Maji - How does this one random planet become interesting enough to drop random beings on to watch them die? The planet isn't that interesting.
-The skybox is pretty. I like the two suns.
Tereshkova
-I forgot the thresher maw is there. That genuinely spooked me.
-Thresher maws are annoying to fight. Too much health, and their attack patterns don't change. They also keep disappearing underground.
Squad
-Good to see Garrus being introspective and taking what we discussed to heart. He realized he had taken Saleon's loss personally, and prioritized that over the victims
-Also realized that if he's to be trusted, he needs to be protected. Real progress here. Shame it vanishes in ME2
-Garrus seems very young for an experienced cop in his late 20s.
-Full circle with Wrex. Shepard initiated talks by asking about adventures. Wrex declined. Now he's volunteering one.
-Ironic that Wrex is harsh on politicians when he becomes one.
-Did Aleena make the core go critical? That would explain how she got out.
-I know many believe Aria is Aleena, but I'm skeptical. Wrex claims Aleena is a softy. No one's accusing Aria of that.
-Why doesn't Tali have new dialogue?
Codex
-Not all animals with wide set eyes are prey animals. As others have pointed, alligators and crocodiles are giant lizards that have them and no one would call them prey

AU 006 : 'FINAL FANTASY VII'
Tag: more than a mako sniffing dog [ff7 au]
Setting: the Final Fantasy 7 'compilation' universe
Culture: mostly Lufenian, picking up some cues from others
Locations: currently varies often, but returns home to a seaside cottage east of Fort Condor & south of Junon's mountains; born and raised on the sky-isles of Lufenia; sailed first to the three-taloned island south of the Junon Area then ventured onto the continents proper
Abilities Changes: - his 'soul burst' resonance crystallizes the fragments of lifestream within living things (the particular density & makeup causes them to look red), but the crystals aren't powerful/stable enough on their own to be used as materia - he didn't start using elemental magic until coming to the continents & acquiring materia
Occupations: currently a mercenary; former experimental fighter for Lufenia (alongside the rest of his squad & Astos)
Altered Backstory: He never knew his parents, and never found out anything about them; he was given the surname of the lab's head, and thus has always presumed she was his mother. Regardless, he can't recall any warmth or kindness from her. What he did know since childhood was that he was being tested in various ways, to see if he was strong enough to become a 'reborn Cetra'. Once he was old enough and the tests were giving favorable results, he was brought to a larger lab on the central sky-isle where he finally met other kids his age - Jed, Ash, Neon, and Sophia. He and the others were given generally free reign when not in lessons or 'checkups'; while he was exploring with his friends one day, they happened upon Astos. The elf had been taken from the ocean-isles below and altered through experimentation, though not even Astos knew why. Regardless, he managed to win Astos' friendship. In the latter half of his adolescence, after a few years of training, they were all sent down to the ocean-isles to fight the monsters there (with Astos there as a guide of sorts). Ostensibly, their goal was to purge the 'darkness' across the isles to help protect their part of the planet, as well as to monitor the lifestream as aspiring 'reborn Cetras'. However, as years went on, it grew more apparent in their missions that they were only protecting Lufenia's industrial access to refine the lifestream into mako. The aim to recreate Cetras was legitimate, but only as living dowsing rods, enablers of that access to mako. Thus, he and his friends began to plot in secret... Each of them hit each of the sky-isles' main power stations, after setting up cascading failures for the backups. Jack was responsible for the one on the central isle, as it was most likely to bring all the others down with it. He poured his resonance into the mako tubes from the main console, holding out long enough for the crystallization to reach the heart of the refiner, locking up the engines that kept the sky-isle aloft. All the isles were then brought crashing down, thanks to the efforts of his friends as well. The landing was harsh, however, and they were left to seek each other out across the ocean-isles. They were injured to varying degrees, but all alive... though Astos had contracted mako poisoning. While looking after Astos, he and his friends made a makeshift boat out of one of the half-intact transports that had so often taken them down to the surface on missions. Though it was a bit of an arduous journey, they managed to arrive on the eastern continent intact. After building a home and starting up a decent goods exchange with the nearby Fort Condor, he decided to gain more supplies and bring home enough gil for Astos' treatments by taking up work as a mercenary. He does experience mild memory issues due to the years of experimentation and exposure to mako after the collapse, but he's mostly found ways to deal with it.
Outfit Change:
Tumblr media
(materia is inserted into gauntlets [hanging on coat belt when not in use], 3 for each)

White Lotus got up to fight with 28 soldiers . The three from the avatar team went to the ships when they saw how the equalizers swam to the 2 extreme ships. The trio split up . Tenzin and some of the police went to the first ship , Mako and Bumi to the second . The magicians manage to repel the attack of the equalizers on the ships. The ships are in a fairly battered condition, but they managed to get off the shoal a little. Water magicians are actively engaged in this . Korra is glad that all her friends are fine. Airo, when examining the ships, says that the ships that were in the center suffered externally, after the magic of a stranger, several people from the team suffer from nausea and pain throughout the body, but most of them are all intact. The commanders of the two extreme ships say that the equalizers have dismantled all the electronics on the ships. The caught equalizers say nothing, they are being interrogated now. Returning to the shore , Korra and Mako see Asami and Bolin running towards them . Everyone is very happy to see them. Two nice faces in all that time. Mako is insanely glad to see Bolin alive and cheerful. Korra is also glad that the team is back together. But their joy turns to apprehension when Korra and Mako see their frightened faces. Bumi asks what happened? And he adds that you look like animals were chasing you for a couple of kilometers. Bolin and Asami looked at each other and said that Bumi had almost guessed right. Bolin and Asami ask if Tenzin has a plan on how to deal with this. Tenzin asks with what? Bolin looked at him with an uncomprehending expression for a couple of seconds and replied: "With what is happening in the city." Massive destruction began in the city .The people rose up against the authorities . The Council with its war with a stranger did not work at all for the benefit of the people, when the stranger gave people food, clothes, medicines and healers. Giving out everything from which he was not giving out so much in the city at the moment and thereby strengthened his position in society, along the way his assistants told people the stranger's opinion about the council and the authorities in general. Since the stranger was the only one who cared about ordinary people, they went after his ideas. And a new overthrow of the government has begun, the police are trying to calm them down , but also mass attacks by equalizers have begun, which are directed at the police and the council. Cape Asami had a hard time getting to you . Tenzin suggests a plan of action. Tenzin asks Bumi to stay on the island of air and look after their family. He agrees. Asami goes with Tenzin to Lin's police station. Find out how things are going and inform the remaining ships that could not sail to send magicians to help in the city . Bolin , though weak , can make stone walls and underground tunnels . With him, there are more chances to pass unnoticed. Korra, Mako and the remaining policemen eliminate the equalizers, calm down and protect the citizens. Bolin is against such an idea . He says that you can't let them go alone, take the white lotus, me. I won't let my brother go into that nightmare. Mako tells Bolin not to talk nonsense. Mako has Korra, and she has him. Bolin says he's against it anyway. Also confirms the words of his brother that he always took care of him. Now it's his turn. Korra assures Bolin that everything will be fine with them, if he and Mako were able to defeat Amon in two, then we can easily cope with a handful of his sixes. Tenzin says they don't have time to argue and have to go. Everyone wishes each other good luck and goes to save the city. Tenzin's squad carefully gets through the fighting to the police building. At the moment , the equalizers and the red lotus ( the stranger's soldiers) are storming the building , Tenzin and Bolin are giving them a fight . Tenzin actively fights, defends himself and partially Bolin, who fights weaker with a wound and becomes easy prey. B
ut even with a wound, Bolin does not allow himself to be pinched and with difficulty, but fights back. At this time, Asami sneaks into the building and learns from Lin Beifong that all police units have been attacked. There are not enough people for defense. The council assumed that most of the equalizers had fled the city, only a small part had left. The rest were probably hiding in the city at some factory or
the warehouse of one of his supporters. So many people can 't hide in their apartments . Asami has an idea to get his father out of prison for a while and show what happened to the city. What his stubbornness led to. She asks Lin for a company car and buys a couple of minutes. Beifong agrees . Metallomages manage to buy time for Asami 's care . .Bolin jumps into her car . When Asami asks what Bolin has decided , he replies that if she is going somewhere , he will help . Asami says you can with your injury. He replies that he can destroy the road behind us so that they won't catch up with us. Asami agrees and they go to Hiroshi. Tenzin stayed with the police to protect civilians. The friends get to the prison and find the scene of Osami's father looking at the city through the window of his cell. Asami says that apparently you don't need to be dragged outside to see the city. Hiroshi replies that people seeking justice did not notice the city burning in flames . People are so tired of inequality that they are ready to do anything for change, but when the flame goes out and if they achieve this, they will understand that their idea has burned, then what should this idea serve for? What do you think Asami? She answers, here, that they did not come to reason about the correctness of their actions, they came. I know what you came for, Hiroshi interrupted. The list of names is on the table. They cautiously took the paper and made sure that this was indeed the case. When Bolin asked why Hiroshi decided to help them . He replied: "At the time of my wife's death, my family was wounded, and I killed." Asami's tears involuntarily flowed, she felt pity mixed with disgust for this man. Bolin lowered his eyes to the nis, so as not to look at this picture. Hiroshi told them to hurry, the person who arranged it must be stopped. Before leaving , Hiroshi asked his daughter if there would be a day when she would forgive him . Asami, having stopped crying, replies that he will not be here today and will not be there tomorrow. Hiroshi will remain at one with himself and the thought of what he has done.
Korra and Mako stop fighting on the street the first couple of fights turned out to be successfully stopped . But when the police are busy helping people, Korra and Mako stand at high points in order to direct the police through them. At the moment of such editing, they are attacked on the roof by a stranger, who mostly moved along the roofs when he killed the victims. The stranger instantly warms Mako's blood with magic, he started yelling about the pain Korra ran to help him, but the stranger began to violently attack Korra. In the battle of Korra 's stranger and Mako , the stranger hardly gives battle to the avatar . She shows a huge strength that a stranger can't cope with. Therefore, at the moment of the battle, he remembers that another overthrow of power is taking place ( the people take power from the council by force) and he decides to strike with his magic (he can heat oxygen molecules in certain places in waves) at buildings and bring down everything in houses that can burn so that the debris falls on people. To prevent anyone from dying, Korra holds the falling stones while people leave. At the moment, the stranger heats up the blood in her veins by a couple of degrees (he demonstrates this more than once and also describes the sensations at the same time. Veins begin to bulge, spasms, headaches occur, everything goes in the eyes and loss of consciousness (if you delay it a little, then death). Korra loses consciousness. Mako, who was fighting with him all the time, is simply not standing on his feet anymore. The last thing he does is attack a stranger in the back who is walking towards Korra. The stranger's hood lights up and he throws it off and Mako thanks to the fact that he saw the stranger's face and the fact that the external scene is similar to the scene 10 years ago, he realizes that the stranger killed his two parents in front of him. This is the one who wounded Bolin, that he almost remained a knee , the one who wants to kill Korra, the one because of whom he and his brother were starving on the street, the one who brought his first nightmare to Mako . He sees a stranger. He sees a nightmare come out of a dream. A stranger approaches Korra to conduct a discharge on her body that will kill her. The stranger swung and without expecting it falls to his knees. His whole body was in pain. He barely turns around and sees Mako standing there and paralyzing him with the same magic as a stranger. Mako's nose is bleeding and he faints. The stranger understands because of this incident that Mako is his child and since after the blow the stranger's blood has thickened and he takes his bastard to disguise fresh blood. At the moment of preparation for transfusion, Mako and a stranger have a conversation that, oddly enough, the stranger started. He asked if he was the son of the fire girl . Mako confirmed it . The stranger decided to clarify whether he understood who he was and what connects them. Mako shouts at him and calls him a monster, he deprived him of everything in early childhood and is now trying to do it. Why a stranger likes to look at the suffering of others. The stranger is silent and continues to work . After a long silence, the stranger says that he is not a sadist, he just has a goal and he will do anything for her. Mako hysterically asks why he did it? Why did he kill his father and mother, leaving him and his brother orphans. Mako used to think as a child that it was because a stranger wanted to rob them , but now he realizes that the stranger is not the person who needs money.Mako is already screaming at him in hysterics. The stranger replies that he did not want to kill his mother , only Bolin 's father , your mother got between us and I hit her and killed them both . That's why you killed my father. I was given an order and I carried it out . Bolin 's father partially influenced the weakening of my order . The stranger also says that if he could go back in time, he would do everything to keep her
alive. In the life of a stranger, the fire girl was the only person who cared about him, and he subsequently did everything for her. Everything for the one I loved. Mako is shocked by what he heard. Mako says he's lying, if she was dear to him, he would never have done that. The stranger says that on that day the thought that the girl of fire left him
Korra and Mako stop fighting on the street the first couple of fights turned out to be successfully stopped . But when the police are busy helping people, Korra and Mako stand at high points in order to guide the police through the smoke (the city roads were still visible from above). At the moment of such editing, they are attacked on the roof by a stranger, who mostly moved along the roofs when he killed the victims. The stranger instantly warms Mako's blood with magic, he started screaming about the pain Korra ran to help him, but the stranger began to violently attack Korra. In the battle of the stranger, Korra and Mako, the stranger hardly gives battle to the avatar. She shows great strength . The stranger loses. Therefore, at the moment of the battle, he remembers that another overthrow of power is taking place (the people take power from the council by force) and he decides to strike with his magic (he can heat oxygen molecules in certain places in waves) at buildings and bring down everything in houses that can burn so that the debris falls on people. The stranger's hood lights up and he throws it off and Mako thanks to the fact that he saw the stranger's face and the fact that the external scene is similar to the scene 10 years ago, he realizes that the stranger is the one who killed his two parents in front of him many years ago. This is the one who wounded Bolin, that he almost remained koleka , the one who wants to kill Korra, the one because of whom he and his brother were starving on the street, the one who brought his first nightmare to Mako . He sees a stranger. He sees a nightmare come out of a dream. A stranger approaches Korra to conduct a discharge on her body that will kill her. The stranger swung and without expecting it falls to his knees. His whole body was in pain. He turns around with difficulty and sees Mako standing there and paralyzing him with the same magic as a stranger. Mako's nose is bleeding and he faints. The stranger understands because of this incident that Mako is his child and because after the blow, the stranger's blood has thickened and he takes his bastard for a transfusion of fresh blood. At the moment of preparation for transfusion, Mako and a stranger have a conversation that, oddly enough, the stranger started. He asked if he was the son of the fire girl . Mako confirmed it . The stranger decided to clarify whether he understood who he was and what connects them. Mako calls him a monster, he deprived him of everything in early childhood and is now trying to do it. Why does a stranger like to look at the suffering of others asks Mako. The stranger is silent and continues to work .The stranger ponders Mako 's words along with his work . In the process, he recalls a story in which he thought there was an answer to his question. When the stranger worked for the order for only a couple of years, the fire girl actively helped him promote the philosophy of the red lotus (although she did not quite agree with her) . She was handing out campaign leaflets. After a while, she met small sixes who worked like her (there was also the brothers' father, who was hired by a stranger, because he literally had nothing to eat in the city) . From her, the stranger learned that many small workers had heard about the stranger and were partly afraid of him. Everyone called him the dog of the order because he carried out any
orders of the order without hesitation. Of course, all high-ranking confidants had this trait of character, but he was too successful in this. The bravest (or the stupidest) said that a stranger could do nothing without an order and subsequent praise. Therefore, he is the only one who still does small work. Although at that time he was already a significant person in the order.
When the fire girl asked him why you wouldn't take helpers and just direct them. He says he'd rather do everything himself than trust someone else with the job. At first , it seemed logical to the fire girl . Until she found out that the stranger, in addition to his tasks, also asks for tasks from other members of the order, and with all this, he asks, in addition to important tasks, something very small that messengers are sent to, and not members of the order. One might think that he was just trying to work for the name, but at the same time, the name had been working for him for a long time and he simply did not need it. Once they had a conversation on this topic and when a stranger ignored the dialogue in every possible way. The fire girl could not stand it and shouted that the stranger seemed to her like a puppy who was constantly waiting for praise for the trick she had done and she added that she did not want the stranger to humiliate himself in front of them . She reminds him that he has no masters and is a free man. The stranger does not show that he is angry at the insults, says that he has never heard such a thing and leaves. From that moment, the fire girl began to think that the stranger had become so dependent on the lotus that he didn't need their life anymore. I was given an order and I carried it out , Bolin 's father partially influenced the weakening of my order . The stranger also says that if he could go back in time, he would do everything to keep her alive. In the life of a stranger, the fire girl was the only person who cared about him, and he subsequently did everything for her. Everything for the one I loved. Mako is shocked by what he heard. Mako says he's lying, if she was dear to him, he would never have done that. The stranger says that on that day the thought that the girl of fire left him to the magician of the earth gave birth to a huge rage in him that darkened his eyes. The stranger says that after her death, he stopped feeling everything in this world, and with her death, he also died. The stranger answers Mako's question why he is here. Since Mako is a close relative, there should be no rejection or other problems. The stranger tells that Mako is his son and explains how he understood it. Mako says that the stranger will not succeed . The stranger with a grin asks why, the city is taken, the avatar is seriously injured, everything he planned worked. Mako replies that he failed to kill Tenzin. The stranger agrees , he hoped that he and his brother would climb the stairs , and not make an elevator moving along the wall . He says that when he heard rumors about the avatar team (it was less necessary to write in the newspapers), the stranger realized that the girl had found friends through whom she could be manipulated. The stranger explains that he hoped that he and his brother would see him and get up, that's why he ordered them to distribute help in a place where it is clearly visible. Other positions are not visible. According to his plan, he kills Tenzin and deprives the city of the main power, then he and his brother go up to the roof and he kills one of the brothers. Thanks to this , Korra will want to kill me and there will be no authority in the form of Tenzin who will influence her . She will go to the city where we will take her. But you got up faster and he didn't have time. Mako
stopped being angry, stopped shouting at him, he was horrified. The stranger says that Mako is partly right , he really can 't calculate everything , for example , when he turned the ships with magic
he did not expect the ships to crash into the next row, the idea was only to run them aground and buy time. The avatar is restored calms the rebellion. Bolin comes and asks Lin to give him police officers to search for his brother and the stranger, Lin agrees. Bolin approaches Korra , who was not herself . They have a conversation . Korra asks how his wound is? Bolin replies that it is better. He asks how she is? Korra replies that the nightmare in the city is the same as in her head at the moment. Riots, riots, equalizers, Mako were captured. Bolin confirms that the situation is terrible, but he also says that if anyone is able to restore order, it is the avatar. Bolin says that Korra showed him how difficult it is to be an avatar to look for a way out of seemingly hopeless situations. Think about protecting ordinary people and taking care of the whole world. He doesn't understand how she does it. In his case, his brother was captured and, in fear for him, he does not understand what to do next. Korra says that she also loves Mako and she is also afraid for him . Bolin says that he and Asami have a list of Amon 's people received from Hiroshi, most likely all the equalizers are in one place and since they are allies of the stranger, they and Mako are most likely there. They divide the list and each searches his part . Korra says if Bolin finds them, let him inform the lotus and take him by force. Bolin says that for a long time she is the only one who does not see him as a cripple , but a war . He thanks her. Tenzin says that seeing the power in others , she will become a wise avatar . Together with the lotus, Korra finds the warehouses where the remnants of Amon's army were hiding. Lotus tied up a couple of groups of equalizers, and the rest tried to escape, but they were literally squeezed by a crowd of townspeople. Having seen on the main square how a stranger threw a building on them, people saw a real enemy in the stranger and a friend in the avatar Korra who saved them. The equalizers were held by both magicians and non-magicians. Korra and white lotus surrounded the equalizers and bound them with ice . People have been complaining about the white lotus and the avatar. Bolin thanks to Asami finds his brother together with a stranger. Mako looks very pale. Two liters of blood were pumped out of him. Bolin stops hiding and attacks the stranger, bringing down the floor under him. Bolin begins to literally bombard the stranger with stones for his brother. Telling him never to touch his family. Bolin carries his brother to the healer . It 's night outside and the area of the city in which they are located is badly beaten by a riot from light sources there were a couple of houses nearby in which there were fires , the police extinguish them , but the light of the flame brightly illuminates the block . The thought that Bolin is carrying an exhausted brother on his back , and at night , instead of lanterns , the city is illuminated by fire torments him , but a bright ray of light from the lanterns of the temple of air gives him strength . On the road, my brother thinks about how they lived on the street as children and Mako always took care of him. Bolin humorously tells Mako, who is barely conscious, that they have now switched places. With humor , he tries to cheer up his brother , although his brother does not react to this . Bolin gets to the temple of air, Korra has already returned, and Asami has not left the island. Korra and Asami saw Bolin and were delighted, but immediately their joy turned to fear, they saw Mako on his back and both rushed to them. They called the healer and took Mako . Korra notices how all of them with Asami started crying, and Bolin was so exhausted that he could no longer stand on his feet. They took him to his room and he immediately fell asleep. Tenzin was watching Bolin . Korra was with the healers and did not leave Mako's side. Asami sat waiting to hear what the healers would say. Half an hou
r later, Korru sat down next to Asami. She couldn 't help the doctors . All three of them are too exhausted. Tenzin could still help, but fatigue still won and Bumi replaced him. After a few hours, the four rested, and also Mako came to his senses, the whole team stood around him wondering how he was feeling. The whole team is assembled. Korra, Bolin and Asami, though beaten, are sitting near Mako
Korra and Bolin sit in confusion, afraid that Mako may get worse. Even though Asami was angry about the breakup of the relationship with him, she was still worried all this time. After the brothers leave, the stranger remains littered with stones. He lies unconscious for about a few minutes, then passing out and coming to himself. It lasted about an hour until he got out from under the cameos. The stranger couldn't take it anymore. His only task is to kill the avatar and finish what he started more than 10 years ago. After hitting stones on the head , a stranger has strong memories . The brothers' mother is present in them. He remembers how they were growing up and living together, how she left him and the moment of his death. The moment his own son looked at him. Mako saw him as a monster. The stranger was burning with anger and pain at the same time. Anger that everything turned out this way. The pain that he condemned his own child to the fate of an orphan as he was . With these shifts in consciousness, he thinks what to do. He tries to contact his soldiers (he wants to take the island of air by numbers), it doesn't give anything. Then he goes to the warehouses where the equalizers were hiding and sees that the police are in the warehouse and are examining everything . The stranger understands that his people have been taken, he has no one. A red lotus contacts him after 4 hours. They inform him that this is a failure and he must return to the order to decide what will be done with him. He is also informed that he has to wait for his trial. These words the stranger took as an insult to his entire long-term service. In his head, his wife's words about seeing him like a puppy showing tricks and waiting for praise were repeating more and more often every minute. The stranger realizes that after the unsuccessful abduction of Korra in childhood, the order broke down and ceased to perform its functions. The order has become useless and the stranger decides to administer the lotus philosophy himself. He decides to disobey the order and take the island in one. A stranger sees memories with a girl of fire more and more. She keeps asking the same question .What's wrong with you and how can I help you? The stranger does not understand what is happening to him . Perhaps his conscience is trying to stop him in this way, or it's a ghost protecting his children. He hobbles and leaning on the walls of buildings goes to the temple of air. The ghost of his ex-wife constantly appears in his eyes, asking questions and asking him to stop. He has only one thought in his head at this moment. He hopes that when he is done with this , he will cut off the connection with the past and will be able to live on , stopping everything that happens to him , not realizing that his past and the actions he committed in his youth for the sake of the one he loved are the only human thing left in him . Having cut off with him, there will be nothing left of him. The stranger wants to end in addition to the avatar, he wants to end his son and his brother, if only those visions that accompany him would end. The stranger understands from the part that in this state he will not take the island , so he is ready for any outcome . In a sense , he doesn 't even mind what might happen to him . The stranger has been a stranger for too long, because he wonders what his name was before he was awarded this title. And the stranger realizes that either he does not remember it or he did not have it at all. He can't even be sure of that. He recalls that he himself understood that a stranger suited him because he did not know who he was and who he had been for the last 10 years . With logical thinking , the stranger understands that he must survive , but even though he himself does not want to admit it, he understands that the brothers deserve life more than he does.Mako is the only good thing he has created in such a long time. A beaten stranger comes and takes revenge on everyone
for a failed riot . The entire avatar team , already brutalized for all of the latter , inflicts a flurry of attacks . A stranger drunk with rage twists everyone with his magic. And when the end has almost come, Tenzin gets hit by the same kind of magic from Mako, who kills a stranger. The last layer
the stranger's va is "well done son". The healer says that this kind of magic is fatal for you. Try again and you're finished. The city is gradually recovering. Brothers again (though beaten), but together. Korra asks Mako what happened. He tells her and Bolin everything and says that he has a family, they are both. Asami Mako says that he will be forever grateful to her forever grateful for his brother. The avatar helps in the restoration of the city. People in the city came gradually to establish relations between magicians and non - magicians .Happy ending

Kill 2 or more enemies rapidly

#Kill 2 or more enemies rapidly full
Interestingly, the quarian marine Kal'Reegar calls the Colossus an "Armature-class" unit, indicating that at least quarians see it as a variation of the Armature. A notable trait of this particular Colossus is that it is the Armature steel-gray, not white. There is one Colossus present on Haestrom, which acts as a level boss at the end of the mission to recruit Tali'Zorah vas Neema. Its shield regeneration can occur quickly if left alone, so keep pressure on the walker before it erases your progress.
A Colossus has a very slow health regeneration at higher difficulties or levels, so toxic ammunition can be useful in hampering this.
However, you'll need Master Lift to get it off the ground as it's too heavy.
Warp, Lift, and/or Sabotage all produce significant effects on the Colossus.
The Colossus is too powerful for AI Hacking, Throw, or Singularity.
Given the slow speed of a Colossus, unless trapped, running away, firing at it the whole time while dodging the Siege Pulse attack, will work. Cover is a bonus, but while Armatures will usually just stand there and fire in your direction if you leave their line of sight, a Colossus will actually give chase once you begin your attack, so bear that in mind if you have to fall back.
If you are out in the open, keep moving and spread your team out if you can.
Switch to Tungsten Ammunition and use either an assault rifle or shotgun to attack. First of all, you must keep your shields charged with Shield Boost or Barrier or the Colossus' machine guns will shred them and kill you.
It is possible to engage a Colossus on foot from start to finish with a well-equipped and balanced team, but your talents and weapons must be high level to pull it off.
#Kill 2 or more enemies rapidly full
This should typically be done if there are few enemies left (or only the Colossus itself), so you can bring your full attention to keeping it down while unloading mass accelerator fire on it. If it becomes necessary to engage a Colossus at close range, repeatedly ramming it with the Mako to prevent it from entering the Siege Pulse firing position can prevent it from doing anything else while it's attempting to recover. If you have done this correctly and your sniper rifle is reasonably strong, it should go down in a few shots. Equip Shepard's sniper rifle and fire away. For sniper-range distance engagements, you can simply park the Mako in a safe place (behind a wall or on the other side of a hill from the Colossus) once you have gotten the Colossus down to about 1/6th health or so, and send your squad members to the same hidden/protected area using the squad commands. So long as you stay at long range or circle-strafe using the main cannon, four or five shots will bring a Colossus down once its shields are gone. You'll only need to step out of the vehicle to deal the killing blow on foot if experience penalty is an issue. Efficiently fighting the Colossus almost always means whittling it down with the Mako's guns. The Colossus doesn't actually need to be facing your direction to fire, meaning you can still be hit by the Siege Pulse even if you're behind it.Like Armatures, Colossi will bring their legs together before firing the Siege Pulse cannon, giving you a small grace period to react accordingly. The Colossus is a monumentally dangerous foe, but fortunately they are almost always encountered while in the M35 Mako. They are equipped with mass accelerator machine guns and a powerful Siege Pulse mass accelerator cannon. They are distinctive from Armatures because their armor is brighter, somewhat platinum-silver in appearance, with ridges on the back. Geth Colossi are similar to Geth Armatures, but much larger with more health, stronger armor and better weaponry. Therum, Virmire, Ilos, Solcrum, Antibaar, Maji

Ursa has a bunch of random small talents that she wishes she could show more. She knows how to juggle, can fold almost perfect origami, and has amazing art skills but never gets the chance to show people. She’s worried about being annoying so when Mako comes along he assures she otherwise. Now she shows Mako all these talents and he will always act amazed.
yessssssss
when Ursa meets Tenzin's children and they (Ikki, Meelo and Rohan) are completely amazed by the things she does, or Mako asking her to teaching her something like origami and she's 🥺someone cares about this🥺
Lin and Izumi keep a painting and/or a piece of origami that she did in their respective offices/studios

Alright I got two positives answers about the fic outline so here we go
Alphas are physically strong, omegas are magically gifted, and betas are of middling magical and physical strength with a bonus to their physical and mental speed.
Omegas find their packs via the dreamscape. On the day of their presentation (anywhere between 16 and 26 for all designations) they begin to dream. The dreams are based on reciprocity—whatever the Omega offers, their packmates can reciprocate. Once a pack locates either Alphas or Omegas, they are legally obligated to provide for their safety during heat and rut, even if the Alpha or Omega in question rejects them. Being exempted requires extensive legal proceedings and paperwork. Rejecting a pack or being rejected by a pack (at least initially) is very rare. Packmates are recognized and bonds are initiated by touch, but only once both parties have presented.
Cloud is an omega who wants nothing to do with a pack. He wants to be entirely in charge of himself. His mother had a bad experience with her own destined pack, which turned him off from the entire concept, though she has no idea and would be horrified if he told her. At 18, he dreams of being in SOLDIER. He has good prospects, because Omegas’ magical inclinations are valuable to the program. He still wants to use a sword more than anything, and looks eagerly to the day when enhancement makes that a viable prospect.
Even before he presents, he knows what he’s going to do in the dreamscape: close his eyes, cover his ears, and keep himself as contained as possible. If he never offers anything, they’ll never be able to find him, and if they can’t find him they can’t initiate a bond. Besides, it’s not like they need him.
The day comes. In the dreamscape, he hears Zack, who he knows as a casual friend, and recognizes him after a moment. Then terror overtakes him as it really sinks in who’s attached to Zack as his pack: the Firsts. Cloud is knowingly rejecting four of the strongest men in the whole world.
For their part, the Firsts are confused and alarmed. Their final packmate isn’t reciprocating at all, which they hadn’t imagined in their worst nightmares. They can’t tell anything about him other than the fact that he’s a terrified omega. They don’t know why he’s hiding. They don’t even have time to ask before his shock and fear rips him from the dreamscape.
Cloud wakes up in a cold sweat and bolts for a garden/training room where he can freak out. What is he going to do? If he gets into SOLDIER he’ll never be able to hide from them, and as soon as they figure it out they’ll be legally responsible for protecting him unless he goes through an extensive legal procedure. They’ll be so angry. Who is he, a backwater nobody, to reject them? It’s already too late—they know he deliberately didn’t reciprocate, even if they don’t know why. The better option is to hightail it out of Shinra right now, but…he can’t. He can’t give up his dream.
Angeal, upset and woken from the dream that should have been filled with joy, also went out to calm down and finds Cloud breaking curfew. Cloud flinches violently when he goes to touch his shoulder (if Angeal touches his skin with his ungloved hand, he'll know), so he pulls back. They talk a little, and Cloud is vague and avoidant as to why he’s so upset. Angeal becomes a little suspicious, but doesnt push it. Eventually he gets Cloud’s name, because Cloud knows it would raise a lot of red flags if he refused to say anything. Cloud goes back to bed.
Angeal goes home and tells the others he’s pretty sure he found their final packmate, but that it will have to be handled carefully. Cloud made allusions to bolting entirely. They start making plans.
(Side note: Angeal and Zack are alphas, Sephiroth is a beta, and Genesis is an omega)
Cloud continues on in ShinRa, working toward SOLDIER and ignoring them every night. Zack notes that he’s suddenly become completely touch-shy with everyone, where he wasn’t before. Cloud plays the runaway tango with them, deeply freaked out by what seems to be coincidental interactions with ASGZ. The boys, meanwhile, are starting to piece it together that Cloud wants nothing to do with packs in general. Each one has their own way of trying to get close to him without spooking him into bolting.
Things come to a head when Cloud, shortly after being rejected from SOLDIER for mako tolerance issues, has his whole squad captured by AVALANCHE. They kill the betas and alphas and take the omegas for the RAVEN experiment. Cloud has no choice—when he dreams that night, he finally opens his eyes and begins to reciprocate. Tired and defeated, he begs ASGZ to rescue the squad before it’s too late.
They get there in time, but not in time to stop Cloud from being experimented on.

*inhales* i will never, ever, forgive the h2o writers for not capitalizing on the mythology of the four elements during season three and instead introducing bella via some weird oirish colonial trope entirely disconnected from the original storyline
like. cleo, emma, and rikki all have powers over water, but their powers are also tied to one of the four elements; cleo is able to manipulate wind using aerokinesis, emma is able to manipulate water vapour in the clouds which further solidifies her connection to the element, while rikki can control fire and create thunder. it only makes sense that bella, who can manipulate crystal which comes from the earth, would have powers over earth
of course, this would leave the writers in a tricky position for season three, as emma, one of the four elements, is missing from the narrative. however, this could be circumvented in a number of different ways. for example, they could introduce an older (former) mermaid who was connected to louise, julia, and gracie, ensuring that bella’s story is not totally disconnected from the overarching plot. they could strongly imply that, after graduation, the three mermaids would travel to meet emma and complete their elemental group
hell, season three could even have been spent discovering more mermaids and moon pools around the world in similar groups and expanding on the mythos in a more... ahem, organic way. of course this calls the notion of the original mermaids being a threesome into question, but the girls could always meet the fourth member of julia, louise, and gracie’s squad on their travels
perhaps this mermaid, too, transformed somewhere other than the moon pool at mako, and has the same powers as bella. perhaps she is somehow connected to julia, the mermaid that we know the least about in canon. perhaps she has some connection to bella, or other mermaids across the world, who have to come together to face some threat which unites them all not the water tentacle dear god please not the water tentacle
i can hear the charlotte stans champing at the bit, so let me present you with a season three au: charlotte is still around. bella is the fourth mermaid with powers over earth. she, rikki, and cleo travel to find more moon pools and meet more merms. they meet a sociologist mermaid with a theory: it does not matter where a mermaid transforms, her personality is what informs which powers are assigned to her
for instance, had bella transformed at mako, she would still have her jelly/crystal/earth powers. had charlotte transformed anywhere other than mako, she would still have gained the same powers that emma, rikki, and cleo have. the sociologist mermaid has the same powers as emma and cleo; the other member of her 'pod' has the same powers as rikki and bella
charlotte gets an actual apology from rikki and cleo, gets her redemption arc, eventually finds herself in a pool somewhere other than mako on the night of the full moon, finds out she can manipulate water and wind like her grandma, and meets three other mermaids who are missing a fourth member. charlotte's claim in the season two finale, that she wasn't supposed to be a mermaid, is refuted; she was meant to be a mermaid after all, just not with emma, rikki, and cleo (as an aside, i think charlotte would be the only ever documented case of a mermaid losing her tail and gaining it back, and of a mermaid whose powers changed. because she is That Bitch)
anyway i think this would somehow establish a complex social network of mermaids across the globe: i can imagine smaller pods of only one or two mermaids; mermaids who transformed in pairs with only one power each searching for the other members of their pods; older former mermaids guiding the next generation; mermaids who are adults with jobs in the science field discreetly conducting research together and documenting their discoveries; mermaids whose parents and families and communities help to guard the secret; mermaids who are parents and grandparents themselves; mermaids who live at sea full time, too. cleo, rikki, and bella become the de facto leaders of this network of pods who help to protect one another from the rest of the world
but no we got water tentacle save the world from the comet crappy characterisation and piss poor writing insert dodgy irish flute here instead

Final Fantasy 7 prompts # 73
1. Puppet! Cloud drops out from a random vortex after his master was defeated. Where did he land?
On Sephiroths office desk in Shinra tower of course. Sephiroth poked him with his pen a few times before Cloud woke up.
"Master!" The blond exclaimed as he wrapped the larger man in a hug. Of course. Of freaking course, thats when Genesis barged in with a stack of paperwork tucked under his arm, (not even bothering to knock mind you!) "Ugh, Seph, you are not going to believe-" the redclad figure stopped in his tracks.
"...this isn't what is looks like."
Genesis wiggled his eyebrows suggestivly, "Sure it isn't." And he was back out in the hall without another word. The soft click the door gave seemed much too loud in the silence and only seemed to add to Sephiroths humiliation.
Thus began Cloud following around his "Master" wherever he went while Sephiroth and the SOLDIERS/Turks did everything in their power to stop him, only to fail hilariously or get beaten up by the (comparatively) petite blond for thier efforts
2. The Holy Trinity encounter Winged! Cloud from the future or a parallel dimention or something and instead of viewing him as a monster they think he's an actual angel and treat him accordingly.
3. Cloud had just finished burying a dead chocobo (may she rest in peace) he had found when he heard a twig snap from behind him.
He reached for Tsurugis handle only to pause when he saw a bright yellow ball of plumage peek out from behind a tree. The blond let out a small laugh. That was by far the fluffiest chick he had ever seen, hells, it was a perfect circle/
Cloud reached down and picked up the baby, "Hello there, are you lost?"
"Kweh!" The little circle cried out and Cloud was quickly surrounded by three other chicks, all wild and overly fluffy. He absently wondered if this was a new breed while they preceeded to peck at him with little effect. He just scooped them up and drove them to Bills place after a ruddementry search of the nearby area.
That was the end of it.
Until he woke up the next morning with three of the chicks sleeping on top of him. The blond was baffled and got up to search for the fourth, only to find it perched on Denzels head, shifting its balance as to not fall whenever Denzel began nodding off, threatening to fall asleep and plant his face in his breakfast.
If Cloud took a picture-or a dozen-no one would have to know
4. A mysterious ailment has been effecting all the creatures Hojo created using Jenovas cells causing them to run amok. With Cloud missing and AVALANCHE busy dealing with rampaging monsters, Denzel and Marlene sneak off to search for the missing blond, but will they find him in time? Or will Cloud be in the same state as the others?
5. Reno found Cloud at a mall in some nowhere town dressed as a girl. He was originally planning to use this as blackmail material before Cloud came out to him as trans.
Now Reno goes out with him and helps him keep his cover...while disguised of course. Wouldn't want anyone to recognize him and- by extention- Cloud.
Besides, if anyone did recognize them, Cloud had full permission to blame Reno and let him take the fall for it.
6. The SOLDIERS apparently had a "Chocobo protection squad" when Cloud was a trooper. He had no idea why Reeve had insisted he read this annoyingly thick file on it until he realized half way through the first page that it was about him
He was the "precious cutie chocobo that must be protected from the evils of the world"
Cloud wanted to burn it on principle...but was too curious to stop reading. Apparently most of the members were still alive and it seems he owes them a great deal, so maybe he should take Teef and the kids to visit some of them. Maybe bring gift baskets...
7. Cloud cursed as he stepped on the edge of his cloak, sending him tumbling down from the path and deeper into the cavern.
Cloud picked himself up from the ground, grateful his goggles kept any of the dirt and debris from entering his eyes.
He heard something from behind him and whirled around to slash at them with his dagger...except there was no one there.
Poink
Oh no. He looked down at the little creatures, wearing cloaks much like his own, only brown instead of the worn black fabric the professor gave them. The blond looked down sadly at the number tattooed on the back of his hand.
Guess I won't be going to the Reunion after all. Shame. Mother had said Zack would be there as a guest and he really wanted to see him again.
Poink!
One of the little creatures- Tonberry- mother supplied - was clutching the edge of his cloak and attempting to lead him somewhere.
Did...did this creature think himself one of them?!
Aka Numbered! Cloud! gets adopted by Tonberrys
8. Hojo waking up strapped to one of his own tables with Cloud and Sephiroth standing over him, grinning like mad men.
9. Au where Sephiroth escaped as a child and fled into the wild and was eventually taken in by the "dead" professor Gast and his wife Iflana
He was "never found" by the Turks and eventually grew up to be a bad ass vigilante.
Cloud shared a similar fate but kept running instead of being taken in, eventually becoming a vagabond until the fateful day when their paths crossed and the pull of Reunion drew them together
10. Enraged blue eyes locked on to the blond. It may have been nearly a thousand years since Shinra fell, but he would know that man anywhere.
Not just anyone could have destroyed a corporate entity as powerful as Shinra and in the span of a single month no less! But he didn't care much about that, oh no.
He cared about the fact that this lovely creature killed him and his fellow firsts and then had the audacity to just disappear into the sands of time, stripping materia of its power and somehow causing Gaias mako to sink deep beneath the soil, never to be seen by mere mortals again. After it did, monsters began appearing less and less frequently, until they stopped appearing at all.
With Shinra so thoroughly destroyed and no other sustainable power available, information and records deteriorated, leaving Shinras history spotty at best and non existent at worse (probably didn'thelp that records seemed to conveniently disappear). Now Shinra, monsters and magic are all considered fairytales from a bygone era.
He and the others occasionally visit the lake that was once the city of Midgar to light candles in honor of all they had lost. Like hell he was going to let the blond escape again. Genesis opened his phone and made a call, "Seph, I found him."
11. Cloud meeting Female Sephiroth. Shes rather impressed that he's completely unaffected by the boob window. It had been the death of many men before him, that was for certain.
Too bad he wants to kill her, she has a feeling she would have liked having him around. Maybe she'd introduce him to Angel's puppy? She had the peculiar ability to befriend everyone she met
12. Time traveler Sephiroth saves time traveler Cloud from the labs with Genesis and Angeal.
Cloud is wondering why Sephiroth saved him and what he's planning.
Meanwhile, Gen and Geal are freaking out and asking annoyingly sane questions, like "Who is this guy?", "Why do you seem to know him so well?", and my personal favorite "Why is there a man being held captive in the labs?!"
13. Lab Experiment Cloud au where teenager Cloud barrels into Sephiroth in the middle of escaping the tower and asks if Sephiroth is his dad.
Sephiroth stops functioning and he just stands there frozen in a full battle stance while Genesis fights and subsequently captures the teenager, who he then promptly kidnaps.
*later*
Sephiroth bursts into the labs and confronts Hojo, asking if he was a father.
Hojo laughs and says "Of course you are! Do you have any idea how many creatures I've spawned with your DNA?"
Cue Sephs mental breakdown and Genesis's rampage on behalf of his friend.
Angeal does his part by babysitting with some office secretaries
Aka: the trinity raising a broody teen
14. Post OG Nebilheim is super duper haunted and Yuffie is NOT okay with that.
Cloud is even less okay and they talk about it while sitting on the roof of Clouds abandoned house...well, the fake one anyway
15. Everyone gets therapy but its from the perspective of a therapist who is %1000 done with Hojo
Bonus: This is actually questions posed by a friend and it helped spawn number 10.
What would Shinra do if Mako where to suddenly disappear? How would that even happen?
Bonus Bonus: What would be the quickest/ most brutal way to take down Shinra and/or SOLDIER? How would the Firsts feel about being completely owned by a stranger who appeared out of nowhere? (This was also my thinking about 10)
Announcement: Due to lack of interest, list #75 will be the final one. Thank you for reading my ideas. It made me super happy!

re: your reblog on mako and bolin, people really be calling mako trash for becoming a detective (when 1. LOK takes places in a universe without the history of U.S. policing and 2. he's grew up in poverty and this is the first job that he didn't take out of survival) WHILE glossing over asami and varrick being war profiteers, wu being an ass-hat royal, and korra being repeatedly tortured so that she could "empathize" with a fascist. classism is real in this fandom.
oh it's so fucking weird, like
sure, there are discussions to be had about the way police were portrayed in lok, particularly in the context in which the show was created (in universe, they didn't have the history of US policing, but the show was aimed at an audience who did, and there are worthwhile discussions to be had about that, especially considering the way lok was westernized compared to atla), and especially given the optics of all police in republic city being benders when book one revolved around nonbender oppression (so maybe something should have been made about the fact that law enforcement was entirely populated with benders that had highly specialized bending forms [like entire squads of metalbenders]), but those clearly weren't discussions the show was interested in having.
which is absolutely a criticism to be leveled at the show, but why does mako get all of this hate for??? taking a job with a steady income???? a reliable steady income, that isn't reliant on winning a whole series of competitions (pro-bending) or physical labor intensive/dangerous (factory work)???? so that he can provide a better life for himself and his brother????
nevermind the fact that, like you said--asami and varrick are war profiteers (and varrick doesn't even get a real redemption arc, he just... lingers and eventually grows on people like a fungus, and then has a really western wedding to a woman he mistreated for the entire series), wu is a spoiled prince, and korra spends the entire series upholding the status quo. ("you're all oppressing yourselves" continues to live in my mind rent-free to this day, and not in the good way, since it's not a stance she ever meaningfully confronts or reverses; nonbender oppression is just forgotten about by the next season and i guess we're meant to think it's just Over because a nonbender is president even though he seems to be little more than an ineffectual figurehead, but anyway)
it makes no sense to me that mako gets so much hate in fandom for 'being a cop' when becoming a cop doesn't have the same weight in-universe as it does in the US (the reason i talk shit about toph becoming a cop is that growing up to enforce laws when she spent her entire life before then flouting them is completely antithetical to her character, and i think lin becoming a cop as a form of rebellion against her mother would've made a much more compelling family narrative for the beifongs, and also wouldn't have involved toph being a corrupt police chief hiding evidence to get her child out of trouble and then running off to hide in a swamp so she didn't have to deal with the fallout from the way her choices affected her family), and so many other characters did stupid shit that makes a whole lot more sense to rake them across the coals over????
especially since war profiteer varrick (who only stopped because, as far as i can tell, it stopped being particularly profitable for him--not because he actually cares about where his money comes from) continues to be a fandom darling lmfao. like where is the understanding and compassion for the boy who watched his parents get murdered when he was eight years old and struggled to survive while protecting and raising his little brother????

🗂🗄🗂🗄i need fluff please
Oh dear I hope all is well. If it’s not, here’s 20 headcannons.
Kya’s favorite earrings are shaped like starfish.
Asami, Jinora, and Lin have a little book club going. Sometimes Izumi joins as part of it and Asami just has to take a moment and wonder how she ended up in a book club with an airbending master, the Chief of Police, and the Fire Lord.
Lin has a lifetime membership to the Republic City Zoo. Ikki’s the only one who knows about it.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Lin has a sweet tooth and chocolate is her absolute weakness.
After book 1, Pema becomes just as protective of Lin as she is of the rest of her family, in her own “Have you eaten today?” way.
Jumping off that one, Pema is blatantly cold to Su when they meet. It takes Su over a year to confront her and Pema lets her know in no uncertain terms that she knows what Su did to Lin and how she treats her, and that while the others may be blinded by the fact that Su is basically their baby cousin, Pema sees right through her.
Lin eventually has to call Pema off, but she’s actually touched by the behavior. It’s the first and only time Lin initiates a hug with Pema; the rest have all been initiated by Pema herself.
I’m not saying there are wine nights between the adult ladies of the squad but I am saying that they take place at Kya and Lin’s place.
Asami is invited. Korra is not. It drives Korra crazy but she just goes and hangs with Mako and Bolin.
Mako, Bolin, and Korra join a rec probending league on separate teams.
Little Leage Probending exists.
@butch-lin-beifong this is technically yours but but Su is poly.
After Toph low-key makes up with Lin, she stops hiding in the swamp and visits her children and grandchildren more often.
90% of these visits are unannounced. Lin almost attacked her thinking she was an intruder the first time she came home to find Toph in her library. Now she just rolls her eyes. Su has always and always will just laugh.
Korra and Asami have to learn to cook together during their first year as a couple because between them, they can only make about five dishes.
Before the series, Lin’s officers began throwing her little work birthday parties at the station bc they knew she didn’t really have anyone to celebrate with. On year four of this, she politely asks them to call it off, but they only agree on the condition that she comes out for drinks at the bar they all go to. This becomes a standing yearly tradition.
When Lin starts dating Kya, it’s close to her birthday, so she brings Kya to the little bar celebration. The officers see her walk in with Kya on her arm and lose their minds. Someone flips a table.
Babies adore Tenzin. No one knows what it is about him, but they all stare at him as soon as he walks in the room and he doesn’t even have to try to get them to go to sleep.
Mako has the stereotypical pollen-sneezing allergy. He can’t keep flowers in his apartment even when he has a girlfriend; the one time he tried, it ended with a ruined couch and a lost security deposit.
Wing and Wei 100% take each other’s tests throughout school.

From Mako - Israel's Channel 12 (Hebrew):
In Israel, last night (Thursday-Friday), an IDF air and ground operation was reported in the foreign media, things looked different . This created a great deal of ambiguity, and major media outlets reported the launch of a ground operation. Now it turns out that this was not a mistake, but a planned ploy whose role is to help eliminate Hamas' forces. It is not for nothing that security officials have said in the past that Hamas does not understand this, but its tunnels will become mass cemeteries. The IDF has already planned how to turn the threat of the tunnels into an opportunity, and that is exactly what happened last night. Gaza City is surrounded by a network of defensive tunnels: miles upon miles of tunnels used by Hamas to fight underground, to kidnap soldiers, to move from place to place, to launch rockets, and even as meeting spaces. During fighting, Hamas fighters stay underground and work from there. Yesterday, the IDF managed to produce a vague picture of a ground operation. Infantry, artillery and tanks were moved towards the fence and at the same time the IDF spokesman in English released the ambiguous announcement. Thus, the IDF made Hamas think that a ground operation is beginning, which caused the organization to bring in all its fighters, including the Nahba, the special force of Hamas, to go down into the tunnels and prepare for combat. Then for 35 minutes 160 planes hover over Gaza and drop 450 bombs, which are over 80 tons of explosives, on the entire Gaza "metro" tunnel system. IDF forces are collapsing the array of tunnels on their occupants. At this time it is still unclear - both to us and to Hamas - the extent of the damage and the number of terrorist operatives buried there, but it is likely that it is in the hundreds. After the night operation, a security source who spoke with N12 says: "Yesterday we carried out at least 20 targeted assassinations of senior figures, and killed hundreds in Hamas. We destroyed most of Hamas' rocket production system, took care of the tunnel system, which was their strategic tool, and many other achievements."
These tunnels and bunkers are absolutely a valid military target, even though the damage to stores and houses above are inevitable and extensive. Under international law, a military cannot be hamstrung by the existence of civilian structures that are protecting critical military infrastructure as long as a reasonable military commander would believe that the target is important enough. In this case there is no doubt about it - this was an opportunity to inflict a huge amount of damage on Hamas, and it appears successful.
There is no doubt that a lot of innocent Palestinians were killed and injured last night. This is entirely Hamas' fault for using them as human shields.
Notably, neither Hamas' Al Qassam website nor the Islamic Jihad Saraya website have updated since the attack. (UPDATE: Hamas just did at 1 PM local time.)
UPDATE: The Jerusalem Post describes the scheme differently:
According to reports, due to the deployment along the border and the news coming out in the foreign media of a ground incursion, Hamas and Islamic Jihad sent their first-line of defense out of the tunnels and into their above-ground positions. These were the anti-tank missile teams and mortar squads meant to strike at incoming Israeli ground forces. What they did not know was that there was no ground offensive. Instead, once they were out of the tunnels, they were exposed to Israeli aircraft. Within minutes, the “Metro” attack went ahead.

Orie and Shika are the official Aika Protection Squad™️ but if you ask them about it they’ll deny it
Mako messages the rest of the family in suna that Aika got hurt and Orie is about to run back to konoha himself
Keeping Orie in check is a full time job and Iya is tired.
