I cant believe it’s been a year since I last updated this blog…. (°_°) I hope all of you have been well 💐

So many things have changed, one of them being I am now a university student!! I was accepted into UQ’a vet school as well as Murdoch’s pre-vet animal science programme and had a hard time deciding which school to choose. In the end I settled on Murdoch even though getting into Murdoch’s vet school from animal science is a bit of a gamble just because it was much cheaper in terms of tuition and it’s also a little closer to home.

I’m currently halfway through my first semester and I’ll be leaving home to study on campus this July. Looking forward to new adventures 💓🧚🏼‍♀️

Handwriting tag

I’m actually working on my handwriting rn because there’s some inconsistencies I don’t like such as the way I switch up how I write the letter r lmao but it’s fine it’s fine 😂

I also tried non-cursive for the first time in forever. I used two different pens for the fox sentences a smaller point one and a bigger point one ( in case you were wondering why I wrote the sentence 4x )

some old spreads from july last year ☆彡

this is my first post this year and i’m happy to announce that i finally graduated with a diploma in veterinary technology (≧∀≦) i didn’t graduate with a GPA high enough to qualify for direct entry into vet schools but they’re good enough for me to get into pre-vet courses and get conditional offers which kind of makes me feel sad but at least i’m kinda almost there 👩🏻‍⚕️ right now im deciding between uniqld and murdoch uni so if anyone’s from there please let me know what you think of the vet/pre-vet courses or even campus life there hahah 🐄🌾

anyway this pandemic has been going on for wayyy longer than we all expected and things seem to be getting worse here in singapore lately,,, pLEase PLEASE PLEASE take good care of yourselves and stay safe <333 🌻 i’m always here for you if you need someone to talk to 🌈✨

I recently bought some new stickers for my planner and journal so here they are keke (^-^) 🌈✨

mini school update: I didn’t do as well as I had hoped the last semester and my gpa didn’t rly go up much bc sem 2.1 was a whole disaster and it dragged my gpa down so low that it’s really hard to pick it back up now,, nonetheless, I am still proud of myself for the tiny improvement I made this sem and I will continue to try my best to work hard this year so I can graduate with a decent grade next May :,-)

After graduation, what’s next?

Big question. If we’re talking about after uni I would like to be employed but would also like different side ‘hustles’ that are related to what I’m passionate about. Oh and adopt a dog! Travel here and there, watch a sunset on the beach since I’ve never done that before. I’m not too much of a planner (for better or worse) so that’s how far ahead I’ve thought about hehe

Are you a morning or night person?

I think the best way to describe myself is that I’m not a midday person... if that makes any sense 😂

Best feedback from a teacher/professor?

Yooooooo any time a teacher acknowledges the work I’m putting in, that’s just the most relieving thing ever. Sometimes I do extra essays and stuff and if they’re like ‘wow, it’s great that you’re doing x, y, z’ , ‘well done for being so proactive’ etc I get gasseeeed 😂😂

Best study tips?

Take breaks before you need to. Schedule them in and keep them short. Regular, short breaks will prevent burn-out in the long run and keep you motivated for longer I swear xx

Three Fun Facts

I don’t like coffee (or sparkling water for that matter :/ )

The custard creams made by Sainsbury’s are the sexiest biscuits in existence omg

The Rock n Roller ride at Disneyland Paris is the best one hands doooooown (like if you ever go, you have to go on this ride). When me and my friends discovered it, it was around the time the park was closing so there was basically no queue and we rode it 3 times back to back before they had to chase us away 😂😂😂
