hey guys real quick what do i do in this situation:

over the past year, my bipolar i symptoms have been worsening. my therapist observed that every 3 months or so, i cycle between extreme lows and then "getting better"/hypomania. i have not yet had a full manic episode, though it's been close.

my psychiatrist suspended all care until i go to inpatient residential care. she says i'm unstable and require a higher form of care. the residential program is 30-45 days, depending on treatment progress. new psychiatrists within my insurance policy have a 3 month waiting list.

i've used up all sick time due to 1) mental health and 2) physical health. my PTO currently stands only at 20 hours. i'm ineligible for an unpaid LOA or even disability since i haven't yet worked a year at this current company.

i'm barely functioning as it is. i can't quit my job, because then i won't have health insurance, and therefore be unable to go to residential. but i can't go to residential anyways because i can't take off work for it.

according to my therapist, i can't heal in this current environment because i'm constantly retriggered. so i need to move, but i won't be able to afford to do that if i go inpatient because the deductible is 50% of my savings, and the other 50% would be used to cover bills since i'd be unpaid.

what do i do. like. what do i do?????

#do i move out and bootstrap the bipolar???#i'm looking for roommates. this time without my dog because the living conditions in this city are fucking dire #and no one wants a roommate with a 95 lbs husky/malamute mix #also majority of roommates don't want someone who works remote. so. that's a thing #i've tried to move to germany but my oma wants me to land a job before i come over #which is fair & logical #so i've been applying and applying and applying but it's been nothing but rejections #my brain is frying. in the past month i've written 2 suicide notes & gone to the ER #i don't know what to do. i dont know a gameplan out of this

ah, a malamute breeder that does all health testing, but refuses to register their dogs with any reputable registry. v suspect.

#dogblr #alaskan malamute #while registration is not a marker of quality #i would absolutely expect any malamute breeder worth a damn to be registering their dogs with their respective breed club #like putting that much money into health testing (potenetially)#and then not registering are suspect #and not having registered dog in general #makes me think they are breeding out of a pedigree that stems from a limited registration #or non purebred #do not get it twisted i am in 100% favor of responsibly bred mixed breed dogs #i don't think that's what's happening here #also just bc you (individual) had a bad experience with a badly bred registered dog does not mean one should not expect registration #from a responsible breeder #i could go on and on #like if puppy mills can register their dogs non registration is a red flag for me in this breed particularly #anyways.

Meet Ares the german shepherd husky malamute mix

She’s a menace to society and refuses to let me take good photos of her.

She is also my heart dog

Fun Facts:

Covid puppy (wasn’t well socialized sadly so she’s reactive to dogs she doesn’t know)

Very sweet and she’s always by my side trying to help around the house

Hates bedtime and will try to hide when I call her

I wasn’t planning on getting her but she was given to us for free because our past neighbors’ dogs (her parents) killed our chickens.

Would trade the world for her.

There is one brain cell in there that occasionally hits the right part.

High energy but lazy.

Taught her how to hold my hand but…

It was a terrible mistake

She punches now

And she thinks it’s hilarious

Howls when she gets excited and everyone thinks it’s hilarious so she does too (big smile every time afterwards)
