And some more prompts, this time for everyone's (?) favorite(?) dragonboi PLD, Akagi!

2. What were they like as a child? Were they quiet and reserved, outgoing, or a bit of both?

Honestly, a bit of both. Akagi grew up as part of a merchant family in Kugane, and when needed, he was quiet and polite. Only reserved when in unfamiliar situations. Once he got his feet under him, as it were, he was a vary amicable and friendly sort. He enjoyed meeting new people and was fairly good at making friends.

4. What are 3 of their irrational fears?

People making lists on the boys and their fears, here... xD Well, for starters, Akagi is actually rather scared of large aquatic life. Like, giant squids, and the like. When he visited Sui-no-Sato and Shisui of the Violet Tides, he was more terrified of bumping into a giant, man-eating shark, or whale, or a monstrous squid appearing from the depths to squeeze the life out of him than the horrors he might have encountered in a monster-infested castle. Everytime he is in deeper waters, he is afraid of being devoured by some great fish with a taste for au'ra.

Also ghosts. And not like Haukke Manor ghosts, or purposefully created undead types. But spirits whose strong emotions kept them tethered to the star, unable to rejoin the LIfestream to be washed into the cycle once more. Oddly enough, it's a similar reason the Ascians bother him, though they sort of chose their lot. But yes, big tol dragonboi's not fond of ghosts. xD

And the third, hm. Losing himself. That at some point in saving Eorzea and fighting the good fight for the people of the star as the Warrior of Light, he will at some point not be "Akagi" anymore. The part of the Warrior of Light that was Akagi, will fade away, and leave someone who fights the good fight, but cannot remember why. It's one reason why he makes time to sit and just be with his found family. He spars with Hoary and Lyse and Yugiri and Thancred, sits and listens to Urianger and Y'shtola discuss magical theory (never stop learning!), joins the Ironworks crew on building and testing wacky machinery, goes off adventuring with the Twins, visits House Fortemps and Aymeric when he can. It is not as pressing a fear as the others, but something that can sometimes rear its ugly head at times. I like to think/headcanon some of the other can see it happen better than the others, and they step in to help in their own ways.

Okay, hope that was satisfactory! I will definitely need to hang on to this, helps me keep filling out this chap. Also, bonus Akagi:
