Wanderer Headcanons - (Male Reader)

June 11, Post 7 of the "30 Days Fanfic Event"

(spoilers of Sumeru archon quest, and who Wanderer’s past selves were)

Compared to your Scaramouche and Kunikuzushi, Wanderer was a different person. The Wanderer did have a similar face and body compared to them, but it was like a new soul in someone else’s body.

After Wanderer had obtained back his memories of his past life, he felt a strong feeling of something missing. Then, he realized that all along he had been missing you, the one who actually had made him happy all his past life.

Scaramouche, who now was adorned in black, white, and blue, had walked up to you in Sumeru.

It wasn’t like you didn’t know of his activities in Irminsul, or how he had erased memories of himself, so he was surprised when you recognized him.

You greet politely, “It’s been a while, Scaramouche.”

Scaramouche’s face scowls, but with less intensity than his younger self in the Fatui, “...So you know me? How?”

“...You needn’t worry about it.”

He scoffs, knowing you won’t tell him, “Whatever, that makes things easier to get you back romantically. And that’s not my name anymore, just call me Wanderer.”

“Dear, what did you say at the start? I couldn’t quite catch it.”

Wanderer’s face turns light pink and quickly turns his head, smiling softly as you had actually shown up after long days of missing you after gaining back his memories.
