Malevolent Creation
Buffalo NY/Tampa FL, US
The band's iconic photos and their classic debut and sophomore LPs, "The Ten Commandments" and "Retribution"
Alongside the classic artwork by Dan Seagrave, the music within these albums is thrashy, groovy, and most of all punishing. Certainly a pair of must-haves for any metal collection period. An honorable mention of the band 'Solstice" is necessary since Rob Barrett worked his magic in that band too.
As we lay this wretched waste of a man into his final rotting place
We pray for his soul to be stripped and tormented of all that is proper, to burn in his sins
In the witness of the Father, the Son and the Holy ghost, his soul will fall below the valley of death
Left to rot forever, to never be free, never return
Decided to do some art featuring one of my favorite gym leaders, Lt. Surge! Also featuring an awesome album from on of my favorite death metal bands: Malevolent Creation’s “Warkult”!

Do not sit on this album! Dying of Everything takes me right back to the early days of Obituary. Sound recording, definite progression, but far from going away from their roots. There is a reason why the reviews of this LP are so praising. Barely Alive sets the pace immediately with some awesome riffing that I need to see live! Its early, but this is certainly an album of the year candidate!
