Ranting a bit. Im not surprised at all considering there r a ton of cgi related jobdescs in the staff list.

I just dont get why ppl complain abt cgi, that are done BEAUTIFULLY mind u. Who fuckimg cares. It may not have the same feeling as 2d animation but its just as fucking hard 2 MAKE.

These r ppl who mainly consumes instead of knowing firsthand how 2 produce these thingz (or even bothered 2 LEARN how these cgi animations are made). Mere fucking consumers.

But then comes the argument that TOEI is the studio that produces this particular movie. Its not budget. Cgi that involves real motion actorz is expensive. I wonder if sensei is the one who suggested cgi in the first place, or the staff pitched it to him. But what matters abt that is that he approved. Hell, he DIRECTED the damn movie. Perhapz he wanted 2 experiment? Or is it budget afterall, or time, i dont fucking know. I just.... Im not upset at all. I dont get it.

Im laughing actually. All the other recent or upcoming remakes/movies of old-ass series (urusei yatsura, sailor moon, tennis no ojisama, yyh, etc) r having no problem releasing tons n tons of pr stuff (posters, pvs, etc) but literally what IS stopping sensei and the staff team from doing the same?
