if ever you think in filipino, saiki has to translate your thoughts pa beforehand

(in the case that you know about his powers) sometimes just to mess with him, you purposely think in filipino and do it quick.. like... galit na magulang na handang mamalo quick...

you may or may not have (accidentally) taught saiki a few curse words... and you feel a little proud when you hear him swear in filipino......

(The sole reason i made this post) you let him taste a few filipino desserts and Omg Guess kung ano favprite niya...LECHE FLAN 😍😍😍😍🤞🤞🤞

You take out a tupperware of leche flan. It was unfamiliar to Saiki, but the way your spoon smoothly sunk into the dish made him assume it was somewhat similar to coffee jelly.

“I don’t know if you can tell, but it’s made from egg whites.” You say, and Saiki looks at you, amused.

After you scoop your own share of leche flan, you slide Saiki’s plate to him. You smile at him. “Una ka.” (You (taste it) first.)

Saiki takes a small spoonful of leche flan and puts it in his mouth. You watch him, anticipating his reaction. To your delight, a smile makes its way to his face.

You ask Saiki, “Hehe, do you like it?” But you already can tell he does like the leche flan, although verbal confirmation wouldn’t hurt, right?

Saiki nods, and takes another bite from his plate of leche flan. He quickly finishes it and looks at your semi-untouched plate. You had only taken a few bites, since you were preoccupied, gleefully observing as the psychic happily eats a beloved dessert from your home country.

Saiki uses his spoon to point at your share of leche flan. With telepathy, he asks, “Are you going to finish that?”

You laugh at him and nod. You quietly think to yourself, matakaw, ah. Meron pa naman sa harapan niya. (Greedy, huh? There’s still leche flan in front of him.)

Out of politeness, Saiki asks, “Can I... get more?” Both he and you knew the answer to that was yes. So, you nod. You hand the serving spoon to him.

“Pwede mong ubusin, cute ka naman eh.”

omg he finds it so corny if you send him jeje songs 😷 but he still listens to it and, at some point, ironically thinks that you solely listen to that kind of music... you had to explain the whole jejemon thing in the philippines

he gets confused a lot with the local memes that run through your head... you often tell him that it’s a filipino-only thing, but you explain it to the best that you can

28. Camping

Hello everybody!

If I reference something in my drawings, it's usually something that's largely known across the globe.

For this one I thought it would be fun to do something that is a little more close to home.

This carriage is from 'Pipo de Clown' and his wife Mamaloe. I used to watch Pipo en de P-P-Parelridder when I was a kid, and now I'm watching the new show with my own kid.

I recently found out that there is a vacation park that has houses like these for renting, so maybe we'll go Camping Pipo style in the future.

Pero ito na naman ako, may thoughts na parang gusto ko nalang mamatay to end the pain na itinatago at nararamdaman ko inside. Until now, ramdam ko yung distance ni papa feeling ko hindi sya proud. 1st Job ko call center pero hindi sya naging masaya and now nagka trabaho ulit ako as a service crew sa Caramia Cakes and Gelato pero nung nagsabi ako na kakauwi ko lang and sobrang layo ng byahe mga around 10pm na ata yun or 11pm. Hindi naman ako nag eexpect ng sobra na magiging proud sya pero sana kahit man lang i-encourage ako or i-motivate na papabor din sakin ang lahat ang tangi nya lang reply is "K".

Masakit lang nakakalungkot na ewan 😥 Tas akala ko isu-support nya parin yung sa internship ko sa US pero last month ata yun nung pinatigil nya na at sinabi na huwag ko ng ituloy at magtrabaho nalang ako sa loob loob ko feeling ko gumuho agad yung pangarap ko dahil yung US ay isa sa tinitingnan kong malaking bigbreak ko.

I wish na I can cry to someones shoulder lalo na kapag sobra na yung heavy na napi-feel ko inside. I wish someone will ask me how's my day. someone will value me and really see my worth.

Last time may nagconfess sa'kin about feelings tho it's not the last time na nagconfess sya pero I asked her " bakit mo ba ako gusto" she said my good side but I'm not happy on that. Kasi mahal lang pala ako nung tao kase may maganda akong side pero what if makita nya yung badside ko yung mess, failures and pagiging hindi perpekto?

I wish that someone will love me despite of my failures and flaws intead she will help me to change.

I hope if God's will I found the love that I really deserve.

Barlovento, reminds me of my childhood and the excitement of going to the beach, in addition to the fact that that city is very close to the home towns of my parents and I associate them with when I was a little girl and went out with my cousins to swim in the river, play in the streets or wander through the processions. And now that I can go with them to the carnival in my father's hometown

I love going to Caracas, it is a big and more modern city than the one I live in. There are hundreds of interesting things out there such as the theater, museums, parks, amusement parks, shopping centers and even people, but I must admit that I am afraid of getting lost as it is very big and it is easy to end up in a dangerous area

2. do you prefer spending your holidays in your country or travel abroad?

I have never left my country, so I do not have enough information to answer that. Although I have always dreamed of traveling to another country ps

3. does your country have access to sea?

Yes it does! our sea is the caribbean sea and I love go to the beach, like really bad

Tequeños

They are a kind of crunchy puff pastry filled with white cheese, but they can also be filled with chocolate or with cheese and jam. They are too rich however they do it.

Cachapas

They are a kind of cakes made with sweet corn. The texture is achieved thanks to the fact that all the ingredients are beaten together in a bowl and are usually filled with cheese, fried pork or roast meat. I personally prefer them with nothing but cheese

Cafunga

This dish made from ripe banana, grated coconut, wheat flour, salt and banana leaves

Carato / Chicha

Both are drinks, only the first is made with ground corn or rice or with pineapple or soursop pulp, and chicha is made with rice or pasta and cow's milk and you can add condensed milk and cinnamon.

Most of the countries of the Middle East and South Asia, I do not know much about them since they are very far from where I live and they do not tend to teach us about them in school.

Despite all this, I find their culture very interesting and beautiful because of how diverse it is. I know more about India and Turkey since here in Venezuela they tend to show soap operas from those countries, in addition to the fact that my mother likes those countries a lot and she shares the information she finds about them.

Australia / UK

I have some problems understanding accents other than American, and yet sometimes I have no idea what the gringos say. Personally I find the British accent very thick, I remember that when I tried to see Angus, thongs and perfect snogging in their original language I did not understand anything lmao

Now, I think the Australian accent is cute, but it reminds me a lot of the way Chileans speak who have weird slang and also they speak really fucking fast  lol

France

Okay, this is because I'm trying to learn French and I'm sorry for the grammar and the accent. And I am afraid to speak French around someone who is their mother tongue, since a mistake in pronunciation in French can make it seem like you said something inappropriate :(

South Korea

I love K-dramas with all my heart, besides I had a K-pop phase in elementary school, but I must admit that some of their customs are shocking to me, they are like the opposite end of my country in certain things. .

United States

This is something complicated, here our vision of that country has been dehumanized and transformed in two ways: some think that it is a paradise where their life will be resolved, where everything is mickey mouse, cheerleaders, weapons and parties with red glasses, while that others see the United States as a giant leech ready that does not care about the lives of others or how much damage it does. So it is somewhat difficult to know how things really are.

I do not understand their culture in certain aspects, such as the tendency they have to classify everything or how their government is so nefarious with other countries, taking into account what it did with mine of course.

Brazil all the fucking way, they have a really interesting culture and I’d love to learn more about it

Toadie watched the woman as she shifted in her seat across the table, his golden eye bright under the shadow of dreads. The soft, deadly vibrations of a growl settled in the Seeker’s chest as the woman who once owned his life slid over parchment for him to inspect. A cruel smile spread across his face as he bared teeth, his ears swiveled to the side. A hand reached to take the contract, eyes that never fell from the woman across the table as he just started to chuckle.

“Double the price.”

Shock crossed Mamalo Malo’s face before it vanished just as quick. “What? No! I’m already paying you top gil for this mission, and my coffers are not what they used to be--”

“Bullshit. Double the price… And if I have to ask again, it’ll be triple.” The smile remained, the flash of teeth a show that he was king here. Confidence settled on his shoulders like a mantle as he inclined his chin.

“Mmm, fine… Because I know you are good at killing. Now as to the retrieval--”

“No. Your ‘goods’ are forfeit. None will be returned to you…” Narrowed eyes watched as the woman squirmed and fought back her tongue.

“Look, you! There are hundreds of other mercenaries that I could hire.” A stubby finger pointed to Toadie accusingly as her guards shifted their weight behind her, as if to remind the man of their presence. “Any one of them just as blood thirsty and out for gil. You are not that special!”

Leaning back in his chair, Toadie laughed. The rich sound scratched a primal fear as the growl rumbled under the friendly tone. A quick swipe of his hand and the parchment flew back towards the Lalafell as he cackled. The trinkets flashed as his mane of hair fell forward at his laughter, as his lion tail lashed behind him.

“Fine. Take your bounty back, and find yourself another mercenary. Good luck seeking one as intimately familiar with your quarry. Nald'thal be on your side as you negotiate a price for that one’s head… And I hope your merchandise is too far gone for you to ever retrieve it.”

A frustrated sound crossed the woman’s lips and she slammed her hands to the table. “You’re lucky I’m even offering gil, beast. You owe me--”

A dagger slammed down to pin the paper in the center of the table as Toadie loomed over their business. A clawed hand gripped the handle, his other flat against the table and tense. The sound of blades drawn rang heavily in the silence between them as he lingered entirely too close to the woman. The wet snarl that left him reminded Mamalo Malo that he was still the monster she had once controlled. Now without his chains.

“I owe you nothing. I’ve paid my debt and the debt of my daughter. You speak to me as an equal!” He roared with ears back. “I will take your job, at triple the price… Because I like squeezing you dry. Your property is forfeit. But you will have your dead body. You have no leverage, so take what I give you. Or get out.”

Narrowed eyes challenged the Seeker, but hands raised to call off her guard. “Acceptable. Then we have an accord.”

Toadie slid back to his chair, a throne fit for an emperor as he purred. “We do… Funds will be released half now and half when it’s complete. When I see gil, I will begin. Now, I grow agitated. Leave and let me do my job. I will contact you when the contract is complete.”

The detail sheathed their weapons and stepped aside to leave as Mamalo Malo turned to scowl back at Toadie. “You are too bold T’odaluk. Anyone else in my position would have you killed.”

Toadie inclined his chin and sneered, “If you were anyone else… You’d already be dead.”
