Hiii can I please request a yandere hades x reader (either record of ragnarok or mythology)

"Is it wrong, to ask for a little love?"

Persephone, Minthe and Leuce… they were proof that the god of the dead could love. Hades was a grim-looking, cold-acting god, but he was not immune to love.

Persephone was beautiful, from outside and inside, so her absence echoed when she went to Olympus. While on Earth the most beautiful plants bloomed, in the Underworld it froze because of the loneliness that Hades felt.

On one of those times when he was checking the mortal world, Hades' eyes fell on a human; at first, it was only to see her for a little while and keep looking at other mortal places.

But, he would look back from time to time, just to see if something had happened to make it more interesting to see her. There wasn't much change, just peace and calm as the young woman read a book; Hades looked at the cover, oh, it was about (what humans called) mythology.

--- What are you reading? --- a small brown-haired boy approached the girl. Something about him was so striking to the god, almost as if… oh, how curious. He recognized the little boy, such a striking soul was hard to forget.

--- Mythology, do you want to hear a story, Asier? --- the maiden's voice brought him out of his old memories; later she would take care of the boy.

--- Yes, I would --- Asier answered with a smile on his face, sitting next to her and looking through the pages of the book --- which one will you read about?

--- Hmm, good question --- Shall he send some divine sign? Hades was very tempted to do so. By Chaos, he could almost swear that he felt himself once again arrowed by the arrow of Eros… and that was not good, least of all for the silky-haired girl --- How about the great Lug, or the mighty Tlaloc, or the beautiful Inari, or the fearsome Apophis, or the respectable Mami Wata?

--- Hades --- Asier was looking at the page of the book where the story of the god was told. The boy looked at the image of the god with a certain strangeness --- he looks very old, older than I remember.

--- From what you remember? Have you already seen a picture or something like that? --- asked the human with confusion.

--- Something like that, but, better tell me the story --- Asier put his head on the lady's arm and looked at her expectantly.

--- Well, let's get started --- laughed the youth as she began to relate the supposed story of the god of the dead.

Hades felt so enchanted with the girl, he could feel it in the beating of his heart; perhaps the loneliness of the six months and long years was already taking its toll. However, if that was to be his attitude and his feeling… he had to be careful; if Persephone were to find out… even though the girl was not to blame for him feeling this way about her.

The god of the dead had to be cautious, if he wanted the beautiful human to last longer than Minthe… and that death would not separate them as it did Leuce.

Since everyone keeps bringing up the 90s cartoon Happily Ever After: Fairytales for Every Child, I wrote out some ideas for a hypothetical reboot. My main focus are stories that haven't been done in the original.

The Swan Princess: In this African American twist set in a disco roller rink called The Pond, Odette, granddaughter of legendary MC The Swan King, receives his prized helmet but must keep it away from an evil witch (or so he calls ol' Miss Brewster). To make matters worse the town councilman R.J. Rothbart wants to make Odette his bride and hatches a scheme with his sister Odile to close the rink for good.

The Goose Girl: in this Ancient Egyptian take on the classic German fairytale, the daughter of the pharaoh is tricked by her advisor who swaps places with her. The Princess gathers all her wit and a few unlikely allies to end the deception.

The Red Shoes: in this story with a Southern Gospel flavor, the daughter of a preacher wants to go out with her friends instead of helping with an important event. When she spends donation money on a pair of shoes, she ends up on a journey that teaches her the meaning of charity and responsibility.

Gilgamesh and Enkidu: In this Mesopotamia legend, the arrogant warrior Gilgamesh meets his match in the humble Enkidu. A Story of good sportsmanship, friendship, and the importance of valuing life.

Eros and Psyche: in this Afro-Mediterranean fusion of the beloved myth, Psyche, a princess, cares for an mysterious & injured man. But after Psyche makes terrible mistakes she must earn back his trust by going through seemingly impossible tasks.

Romeo and Juliet: In this 80s rock n' roll take on the Shakespearean tale, the Montagues and Capulets are two warring music dynasties called the Monty and the Goos, & the Capital Letters respectively. The new generation of singers develop a crush on each other but will their new love overcome old hate?

The Wild Cranes: In this take on the Wild Swans set amidst the backdrop of the Gullah islands, a young girl must find a way to turn her 12 brothers back into human after they were turned into cranes.

John Henry: in the classic American Folktale set during the Great Migration, John Henry, a railroad worker, uses his kindness, wits and super strength to help families move up North.

Snow White and Rose Red: In this Romani take on the German story, Snow White and Rose Red are two beekeepers who befriend a talking bear. However when a huntsman pursues the bear, Snow and Rose escapes with their friend into the woods. They seek help from a friendly troll, but is there more to the story?

The Boy Who Cried Coyote! In This take on the classic Aesop, set on the mountains of Peru, a young alpaca herder decides to play tricks by claiming there is a coyote. But he gets a well deserved lesson in honesty when his pranks go too far...

Hades and Persephone: In this retelling of the Greek myth with a dash of 90s/2000s pop music, a lonely pop idol seeks comfort in a cafe barista, unaware that she is the daughter of a health food giant.

I also have ideas for episodes featuring the Mami Wata, Anansi the spider, Paul Bunyan, the Chupacabra, & Princess Savitri.

What do you think of the following au:

(Sorry in advance for asking since this is rather dark).

On the isle, there are no cops. No Cps. Barely--if any-- enough doctors. Barely any supplies.

Because of this, crime and violence run rampant and unchecked.

So the kids, as in canon, have to step up.

The older kids look out for the younger ones the best they can with the help of some of the nicer adults on the isle.

Adults like henchmen, petty criminals, Dr Facilier, Anastasia Tremaine, Lefou, and Smee.

And lots and lots of people die.

Which is where one group of kids known as the Badun Detective Agency step in.

The Badun cousins (Harry and Jace), who have lost many siblings, stepmothers/aunts, pets, and cousins to Cruella while their fathers did nothing.

Hermie Bing who's beloved father-- the ring master-- died when she was young due to gulit and poor mental health leaving her alone.

Eddie Balthazar, who's eldery parents (Aunt Sarah and Edgar Balthazar) are stuck on the isle in poor condition. Who knows what a family is supposed to be like.

Reza who was mistreated horribly by his biological father-- the former royal astronomer of Agrabah-- and barely remembers his bio mother, a harem member, only to be taken in by Sadira and Mozenrath.

And sweet little Yzla who is separated from her father (Cedric) who is off the isle. Who has seen her mother be belittled by her grandmother (Amza) every day of her life as her little brother and older cousins turn darker and darker every day.

Together, they keep track of every horrible injury. Every missing person. Every domestic dispute. Every death. Occasionally getting help from Hades and Hadie.

Why do they do this, you ask?

Why, It's simple.

They do it in case the barrier is ever brought down or in case they ever get access to the internet so that Auardon's heroes can't sweep it-- them-- under the rug forever.

So that they don't forget everyone they left to die and suffer.

So that even if they die, it will leave a stain on the heroes' memories-- mainly Beast-- for what they did to them.

I want them to categorise every single death, I want them to scream the names of the lost children and even the adults into King Beast's and Fairy Godmother's face.

I want for their records to haunt the Auradon adults' dreams.

And I wish them the very best of luck on their way for the life they – they all – should have.

(There is a monument. After the Barrier falls – there is a monument. Maybe it is a giant dome, maybe it's just a simple column reaching towards the skies. Maybe it's a statue of a child with sad eyes, hand clenched over the stone heart. Regardless, letters spill all over it. Words, names. So mamy names of children that shouldn't have been born or should have lived, carved in sharp angles, and big curves above the line. In the handwriting of a child practicing it's first lines. If you look very carefully, you will see why they died and it will haunt your dreams.)

Day Twenty Six: Favorite classical female character (from pre-20th century literature or mythology or the like)

Sheherazade from the One Thousand and One Nights.

A young lady who tooked the risk of becoming the wife of a vengefull and murderous ruler, if it meant a chance to save the lifes of all the woman in the country.

Her only weapons are her extensive knowledge and her articulation of words, that allow to narrate the most beautifull and engaging stories that make the sultan curious every night, in the proccess delaying her own death and of the other who could become the sultan's wifes.

Sheherazade's cunning, witty and artistry are still inspirational role models for me.

Day Nineteen: Favorite non-human female character

Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn.

A lonely creature in search of answers about what happened to the rest of her species, being an imortal ethereal being, Lady Amalthea can at first appear to look down at humans and sound a bit arrogant (considering that in one ocasion the human ilusionist Mami Fortuna trapped her in a cage, i don't blame the horned white mare) but in her journey, the more she lives along the humans, and specially as she lives in the skin of one for a while, she grows more vulnerable, humble, kind and compassionate. Conflicted between remaining a human or return to her original form, at the end she returns to become a unicorn, saving the life of the human Prince Lir, with whom she fell in love but couldn't remain with.

Lady Amalthea ends her story rejoining the band of fellow unicorns, glad to be the first of her kind to experience human emotions like love and regret.

She was a deity that experienced how to be a flesh and blood being.

Day Three: A female character you hated but grew to love

Saori Kido from Saint Seiya.

So in this shonen anime series inspired by greek mithology, its extablished that every 200 years the goddess Athena reincarnates in human form to lead a group of armoured knights to protect the Earth against the Forces of Evil, be they human or divine.

The human encarnation of Athena takes time to manifest and control her powers, so she frequently needs protection from her knights, known as Saints.

In the 20th century (the manga and anime were made in the 80s and are set at that time), the encarnation of Athena is Saori Kido, who was raised as the granddaughter of a japanese billionaire after one of the comanders of the Saints tried to murdered her as a baby. Originally spoiled and mean to the boys who were trained to protect her, after discovering that she is Athena, Saori slowly reevaluates her behaviour, and learns to be a more responsable, kind and benevolent leader, who frequently puts her own life at risk and acts as a Barrier Maiden to gain time for the Saints to defeat the villains.

Growing up with the first Saga (Santuary), where she was more passive and needed to be rescued lots of times, i didn't liked Saori, because i tought she was dumb and weak. After rewatching the series from the first to the last Saga (Santuary to Hades), i gained an apreciation for the nuances of her character, who learned to be a better person trough her friendship with the Saints, and always afirmed her love for Earth and Humanity.

Batman / Bruce Wayne :- in the past, Christel and Bruce had disagreements about how things work around his family and Gotham. Which even resulted in a physical battle. But nowadays they see eye to eye, he also tried to adopt her. But Damian and Delenn didn't let that happen. Thank god-

Nightwing / Dick Grayson :- there was a time when dick was dating caludia, which resulted in Christel jokingly giving him the pet-name "papa". After caludia's death, both became distant but still each others comfort. Christel still calls him "papa" as a nickname.

Red hood / Jasom Todd :- Jason is married to delenn and Carol, both are Christel's mother's. That technically makes him her father. But Christel hasn't called him that. She still has a childish grunch against him because during her first week in Gotham, he stole her cheesebread.

Red robin / Tim drake :- she met him in his civilian form first unlike the others. They are college friends that often go to Starbucks together.

Robin / Damian Wayne :- they started as hating each other for a very petty reason but they ended up becoming sorta friends and then that became lovers. Basically they speed-ran enemies to lovers in a year--

Black-bat / Cassandra Cain :- Hecate's lover, the batfamily member Christel trusts the most. After Damian of course.

Spoiler / Steph :- Hecate's other lover, Christel finds her funny and the star of any party.

Alfred / agent A :- Christel respects him the most, she also thinks he is immortal. He has to be.

Celle-ci étant la dernière nuit de ma semaine cherbourgeoise, 8jours et 8nuits. Un record depuis mon engagement d’amoureuse.

Jour 1 ; Dimanche, après un repas chez nos amis Eugenie et Manu près de valenciennes, direction cussy chez ma mère, arrivée vers 20h.

Jour 2 ; jour de congés avec ma mère, ballade en ville de Bayeux.

Jour 3 ; tous deux partis à leur boulot respectif, je me réveille tranquillement, petit dej, drama coréen, petit bain dans la toute nouvelle baignoire. En route, direction Beaumont hague pour manger avec Jessica, petit détour par urville pour admirer la vue sur l’océan qui m’as tant manqué. Passage en voiture express devant la plage, la paillote l’ancienne maison de Patricia où nous avions vécu quelques temps. Après plus de 4ans, je découvre enfin son atelier de fleuriste ! Elle m’as invité a la crêperie à coter de son travail, super moment, elle est enceinte du deuxième, et accouche le même mois que ma collègue. Petit café dans son arrière boutique et voila. 15h, je ne voulais pas rentrer en ville, alors je suis aller direction le Rozel en passant par les routes de campagne de la hague. Ballade sur la plage, spot retrouvé près du camping du ranch, 1h de passée sous un petit soleil timide. Direction les lieux important, et port de dielette, maison de dielette, Siouville maison mamie, plage et chemin avec petit pont et maison coquillage, maison virandeville et direction cherbourg chez mamie, au soir resto avec Arthur et papa, viande au feu de bois. Dodo chez mamie et chipie.

Jour 4 ; repas du midi chez mamie avec maman. Go chez momo pour sa cartouche, retour sur cherbourg prendre un goûter avec Arthur et papa chez Willy et parler dès possibles vacances au ski tous ensemble. Apéro chez vero avec papa et Willy, retour chez mamie finir mon magret de canard.

Jour 5 ; 10h rdv chez Fred, balayage et dégradée, je suis re-blonde , bref ravie de ma coupe comme d’hab. je voulais me balader dans le parc Emmanuel liais, forcément il était fermé pour travaux seulement ce jour là. Bref. Fin à 13h, go manger un sandwich saucisse avec maman pour sa pause du midi d’une heure. Go direction collignon, plage, d’une et rocher. Un kiff. 17h je récupère mes affaires chez mamie, et vais les déposer chez Arthur. Direction le bar pour un allonger creme avec mon frangin, pause à son appart. Course, récup de momo à Cherbourg, soirée chez Juju au centre équestre, 6ans de passer, un bail. Toujours aussi cool et trop rigoler. Dépôt de momo chez elle à minuit, retrouver Arthur en ville, faire un verre / un bar/ 5min, histoire de rattraper notre retard d’ébriété ! Bayou, bodega, chaudron, Piccadilly et FREEDOM ! jusqu’à la fermeture bien-sur, arthur mort, retire 40€ pour un grecque qui été fermé. Du coup retour au bercail, Arthur nous fait des steak / œuf sur le plat. Dodo !

Jour 6 ; réveil difficile, levée à 16h.. momo m’a attendu pour le resto du midi, c’est raté ! Arthur se lève et direction McDo, Eléis pour des course et du p’tit dej, Arthur au boulot et moi à l’appart en train de crever.

Jour 7 ; réveil compliqué mais obligatoire, on mange avec notre mère à l’étoile à midi pile. On se magne de ouf , et on est dans les temps, entre temps papa m’harcèle au tel. Ballade encore avec le frangin, rachat de la clope Electro nouvelle génération, allongé crème à gogo. Retrouver papa à 18h, verre chez vero, repas lecheter chez papa devant matrix quatre. Sortie à minuit, texto de momo qui est au Piccadilly, c’est bon j’y vais forcément.. jusqu’à 3h et retour à l’appart presqu’en même temps que Arthur.

Jour 8 ; rdv a midi avec Noémie au salon du tattoo à tourlaville pour un petit tattoo en commun avec mon frangin, mythologie grecque, poseidon et Hades sceptres avec eau et fumée, A&A. Petit Kfc de réconfort, dépos du colis à son taff. Et direction cussy. Petit repas en famille et me voilà dans ma chambre à écrire ce texte.

Jour 9 ; demain je prendrais la route, direction Lille pour retourner dans ma vie, voyons comment ça va se passer. Finalement ma vie me manque un peu quand même. Suite au prochain épisode.

Something I did this week: 

I listened to Zombie by Fela Kuti for my album club, of the genre afrobeat. I started listening to the album, and found I did not enjoy it. The music itself did not speak to me, but I did appreciate the message behind it. It was very political music, about what was happening in Africa at the time and was making a political statement through music and was punk seeming to me, it reminded me a lot of The Clash, not in it’s musical style, but with the themes of politics embedded in it that is represented through music. 

2. Something I am researching:

I am researching the role of fashion in the goth subculture. Fashion plays a large role in one being identified as goth. While the subculture is largely music-based, fashion was one of the key parts of the subculture developing it's unique style, but it is also part of the many stereotypes that lead to misinformation about the goth subculture.

3. Response to assigned reading: Google takes on ChatGPT with Bard and shows off AI in search

To me this idea of a Google AI was a little ridiculous, I understand the idea of having it be able to plan things like events or to be similar to Chat GPT, but those things already exist, in already highly advanced formats. Amazon Alexa, for example, is an AI system that can connect to your device and do things similar to what Bard is doing, but in a more efficient format that makes programs like Bard seem unnecessary.

4. Meta-analysis of your own work as a blogger, thinker, writer, student, keeper of a commonplace book, etc.

I keep a different blog on Tumblr, mainly music related. I think I could improve my blog, not with writing necessarily, but by being consistent and having a variety of topics discussed on it. I think it could be improved by keeping a list of ideas to write on, but also having a posting schedule.

7. Something I did this week:

I created a instructor hand out for a workshop on thesis statements for the Reading and Writing Center at Folsom Lake College, focusing on making it in an accessible format, but also to bring a new take to workshops on thesis statements as the same one has been done for a while at Folsom Lake College and my supervisors wanted it revised.

8. Responses to assigned readings (assigned for our class or for another class):

In Galili's text Ancient Affiliates, television is examined and the cultural and media practices embedded within it as a medium. The technology evolved from the telegraph and technologies that transmit images, coming from the idea that light could be transformed to signals or the concept of wave theory. Film technology was not electrical but rather developed into a different area than electronic technologies and was distinguished from electrical technologies. There were two aspects of moving imagery media, the annihilation of time and space, which is not literal, according to the text, but rather an interest in technology potentially conquesting natural concepts. With instant communication arising, it was thought electric technologies would change relations amongst nations and could potentially bring peace and harmony universally across cultures. I found this reading interesting but was confused by the idea that image-transmitting technologies, or cinema, are not electric; maybe even disagree with it. I think to me cinema is electric in a sense since it is images being transmitted amongst wavelengths. Still, these images are produced through electronic technology, like DVD players on television. My ideas on it may be incorrect, though, and I think the medium of television needs to be considered differently with the rise of streaming like Netflix, Hulu, or HBO Max.
