Hiiii, I hope I make the deadline for your March 14th event. 😊 so here’s my blorbo:
An exciting date with Connie Springer. 🩶 He takes me to a Dave and Busters type place where we play laser tag and bowl. After, we hit up some food trucks downtown for dinner. He’s very flirty and makes me laugh a lot. Of course he doesn’t forget to kiss me goodnight when he takes me back home.
Thank you so much!
Xoxo, Maggie 💖

i wouldnt be struggling in uni if i had a Phayu 😔
we cant all be like Rain after all.
anyway, if you know where i could get myself a Phayu, tell me the location and time, ill get my net ready
*googles how to get people but not in an abduction way* for legal reasons this is a joke, i dont have enough motivation to abduct a person anyways *im still joking
actually, i think its a crime to catch people, BUT ALSO Phayu did tamper Rain's car to get Rain's attention.
(yes, i will never shut up how Phayu committed a crime to get his true love. the devil works hard indeed but the devil got nothing on Phayu)

I’m really not vibing with the theme music and the more I think about it the more I think it’s for the same reasons people are having issues with the pacing.
The books are adventures - it’s kids being sent off on their own to complete quests and fight monsters and save their friends. They’re fun and upbeat and scary and exciting.
The theme music is whimsical and magical and completely opposite to the sense of adventure of the original stories, and I think that’s lost in the show as well. The complete lack of urgency and weird pacing makes the stakes seem really low and the encounters with monsters are over so quickly or interrupted by something that brings the tension of the scene crashing down.

Dowdy: Day 12
Dowdy: (of a person or their clothes) unfashionable and without style in appearance (typically used of a woman).
Present: 3.0: Napha gets a Heavensward glow-up. Short.
FFXIVWrite 2023 Masterlist
---
"My friend, all is well! Your reputation precedes you, and I assure you, an audience with the Archbishop is a herald of glad tidings."
But Napha's mind was racing. Alphinaud had impressed upon her from the start just how critical treating with Ishgard was to their cause. Now, suddenly bereft of allies, did they yet have the luxury of a cause beyond asylum for themselves? The thought of the doors of Ishgard closing on them as well, those few of them whose fate was known, had stolen her breath. She felt so small.
If she had but time to gather the rest of her belongings, or least some time to withdraw coin, if only they hadn't needed to flee Ul'dah so suddenly, she might have been better prepared to look as formidable as the faerie stories told of her... Perhaps they would have seemed more worthy of trust.
Now that Tataru and Alphinaud had been exonerated, they retreated to Camp Dragonhead for the time being. Napha caught herself in the reflection of a pewter decanter. Her girlhood braids, the hempen ensemble, the fearful gaze she could not seem to shake even now, it all scarcely boasted competence, let alone demanded respect.
"Take heart," Haurchefant proffered a smile and put a steaming mug forward. "I understand well the need to make a good impression, perhaps better than most. I shall furnish whatever you need to brave both the Coerthan cold and the biting glares of high society."
Haurchefant was a man of his word, but he did little to mask his delight in overseeing the fitting process. From discussing which fabrics would stave off both cold and wet, to asking just how much play in the stitching was needed for optimal use, and the curious question as to whether or not she needed pockets - he had heard women were wild for them- it was as much for him as it was for her. By the end of a long line of questioning and skin pricks from errant pins, Napha had a snow white robe, fitted with silver findings and an ornate reinforced breastplate, courtesy of the Fortemps own seamstress. It had been an existing piece, fine enough to command respect but also forgettable enough to not call attention to itself as an heirloom.
"Adventure" it said, according to Haurchefant. Something practical, despite its beauty. Tataru agreed.
Hair shorn, buckles fastened and metal polished, Napha felt she has substantial armor to shield herself from Archbishop's scrutiny.
