Surely there is one brawny, beautiful, non-horrible actress in the world! I want my girl to be pals with Bo-Katan and Mando and be "Aunty Cara." I want her to find her peace. I want her story. I want her and Din to be battlebros for life. She was such a good character. Also she had no boob armour! All the Mandalorian women have boob armour, for whatever reason. Less boob armour. Why do they have boob armour, costuming department.

Y’know, fanfics like to characterize Tor Vizsla as an idiotic cowardly brute. Which is a good way to make sure nobody likes your villain, granted! But, see. If you read through the Kyr’tsad manifesto he wrote (you can find it in The Bounty Hunter’s Code: From the Files of Boba Fett), you’ll find that he’s a VERY good rhetorcist. As in, I didn’t even notice the part where he openly admitted to doing some genocide until the second read through, and only spotted his speciesism because I already knew to look for it. He doesn’t write the way a “dumb brute” would write. A cowardly hypocritical imperialist, absolutely! But Tor Vizsla is not dumb, nor is he uncharismatic, and I think it would be interesting for more fics to explore that!

Ursa Wren is giving me Satine vibes aesthetically

Like oh it's funny to see that former deathwatch member Ursa Wren head of Clan Wren also has a title (Countess), an aristocratic accent, a big ass mural of of herself in her throne room, and a somewhat similar architectural style to Satine's Sundari and Kalevala

Almost like Satine was pretty culturally traditional (which is stated in tcw lol but widely ignored) generally and her thing was political and specifically about the rule of violence

(Ursa Wren is a cool character. i'm surprised i haven't seen the kind of discourse around her the kryze sisters always get considering her similarites and connection to both.)

The best part of the Din/Luke ship is imagining Ben Solo leaving his parent's house in a huff and going with Uncle Din on a few bounty hunts. And telling him about everything he's feeling, and how he doesn't know what to do, and Din just listening and being a dad.

(He will never get to do this for Grogu, but he can do it for his nephew)

And maybe they run into Rey, Finn, and Poe out there in the black. Maybe, instead of getting himself all hung up on a dead man, Ben makes some friends instead.

Maybe Ben inherits the Falcon, when Han is too old to run around the galaxy. Maybe the four of them have adventures--sometimes with Grogu, sometimes without, because Din likes to stay home more often.

Maybe they meet Cara, returned to Navarro. Older, wiser, greyer--but she can still beat Din in an armwrestling competition about half the time.

Maybe they run into Winta, who has a home in Sorgan yet, because Ben's Uncle Din saved it for her.

Maybe they go to New Mandalore, because Ben is friends with the Manda'lor that now rules, and they have lightsaber duels that are just for fun.

Maybe they go to Tatooine, and talk to Peli, and Shand, and Boba Fett. Maybe Cobb tells them stories.

Maybe the Empire stays crushed, and the galaxy is safe enough for four young adults to roam around the galaxy in a ship older than they are.

Maybe.

I’m so glad Vhonte Tervho and The Armorer canonically don’t have the Nite Owlcheek slits, and that Tervho doesn’t have the Nite Owl visor. Having gendered dimorphism like that in Mandalorian armor is weird, given how Mando’ade don’t care about gender to the point of not having gendered pronouns in their language. It’s nice that it’s just a subset, not all of them
