Just something that's been on my mind lately.

Sua opinião mudou completamente quando o livro em suas mãos começou a reluzir e reluzir e reluzir… Que tipo de led usaram naquela capa, não sabia, mas caramba! Tinha que descobrir para colocar em seu quintal, já que chegava a cegar de tão brilhante. Não tinha porque se estressar e lutar contra a própria imaginação, porque não passava disso: pura e distorcida imaginação (devia abandonar os dark romances);

No entanto, mesmo tentando aceitar a nova realidade como imaginação, começou a considerar a possibilidade de estar no purgatório. Não havia outra explicação para ter condenado a si mesma a viver num CCC ou ter se designado como Perdida. Será que estava mais infeliz e desequilibrada do que pensava? E ainda tinha aquele velho mago, que deveria ser sua consciência ou instinto de preservação. Claro que Lia já o odiava;

A cada aviso, acontecimento e "perdido" que conhecia, ficava mais difícil atribuir tudo à imaginação. Na verdade, a possibilidade de alienígenas aparecerem do nada parecia cada dia mais provável... Ou a teoria do multiverso, interdimensões, purgatório...

Entre tantos mundos que já leu sobre, com plots semelhantes ao que vivia agora, jamais imaginou que fosse ficar presa justamente nos contos de fadas. Fala sério! Podia estar no meio de The Originals ou… The Villainess Captured The Grand Duke! Ou mesmo Sailor Moon, com o look e cabelos maravilhosos das guardiãs do universo; ou com parceiros que lamberiam o chão em que anda. Por isso, critica tudo do novo universo — e com tooooda razão! Onde já se viu... Sidekick rejeitada de vilão. Jamais!

… Mas também, é como diz o ditado: quando em Roma, faça como os romanos. Podia não gostar do que estava vivendo, porém, estaria morta de verdade se não fosse aproveitar ao máximo a experiência. Era sua chance de ser a S/N, a protagonista, aquela que mudaria o próprio destino e o de todos. Podia não lembrar de todas as histórias de cor, mas conhecia aquelas pessoas, não conhecia? Sabia de suas angustias e desejos, isso tinha que servir pra algo.

last movie : I saw Suzume with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. If you liked Your Name + Weathering With You, you'll like it probably, if you didn't, you won't. If you liked Your Name and thought Weathering With You was derivative... probably you will think Suzume is derivative too. I'd say not as good as Your Name but better than Weathering With You, and generally a nice watch.

last show : Just started Lycoris Recoil with my anime buddy over the weekend, looks promising! Also Ted Lasso season 3, which I definitely feel like is a step down in quality from season 1 and 2, but is still a decent watch.

🥞 PANCAKE - what is their comfort breakfast?

ok you know that stereotypical "noble's breakfast" that every manga/manhwa/manhua series ever has in a european fantasy setting? that one, with the eggs and ham and juice and tea and fancy porcelain and the butler serving you elegantly in bed? ideal fantasy food and a taste of her typical treatment in fanfics, so it's "comfort breakfast" to her because it's familiar! even if it probably costs over $100 per meal!

☀️ SUN - are they a morning person? what is the first thing they do in the morning?

depends on setting, but now that they're in isola it's to check her social media accounts to see if she's got any new followers or likes for her selfies! ("what social media" you ask, "idk it might be all in her head" i answer. well, she probably has plenty of faceless NPC followers haha)

of course she's a morning person, the early bird snags the lover after all! so she's up by 7~9AM to greet the sun and water the plants and sing to the birds Disney princess style and pretty her face and pick out a cute dress and go off into the streets for her next romantic conquest!!

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

i have some old replies about a similar question here

but tl;dr what i find hard about OCs are making up entire histories/backstories/etc. just to build up a character, so i took the shortcut by adopting what people already assume/have created about mary sues and put my own spin on things. if you click on her pseuds links on her (fake) ao3 profile page you can see some reference material from TVTropes lol

the faceclaim was the first thing i decided about her. i wanted to pick someone who looked harmless, pretty, and cute while being from a series that wasn't too popular (to avoid running into appearance doubles if they app'd for isola). i've always liked CLAMP's artstyle because it can be shoujo while still feeling cool and its chibis are super cute/expressive, so that narrowed things down.

also, kobato herself is probably closest to what this mary sue (vanilla version) would be if she was an actual character instead of a cariacture.

Fiori Di Como

When I first saw the Fiori Di Como some of my first thoughts were how the glass work and colors were really pretty, and how it resembles a field of flowers.

2. Five facts about the Fiori Di Como by Dale Chihuly

"Fiori Di Como" means "flowers of Como", and is inspired by the flowers of lake Como in Italy.

It is the largest glass sculpture in the world, comprised of 2,000 individual blown-glass flowers.

Chihuly lead a team of over 100 people, including glassblowers, architects, and more, to create and install this piece of work.

The entire sculpture weighs over 40,000 pounds.

Chihuly is a prolific glass sculpture artist with his work appearing in over 200 art museums around the world.

3. My opinion and thoughts on this art piece now is still the same as before. I still find the work of art incredibly pleasing to the eye with the variety of colors, patterns, and shapes present. Chihuly really captured and was able to convey the essence of flowers in his work. Only now after learning more about it I can also say I am impressed with the scale and amount of work that must have went into it to make it possible. I can only comprehend the magnitude of it through a picture.

Art and Writing

This is a poster that was digitally designed by scanning hand drawn flowers into Photoshop and finished in the application. It was made by yazzy.co on Instagram, then printed on poster paper, for a band called Flipturn.

The use it serves is as a memento of the first concert that I've ever went to this summer. I personally think it is very appealing to the eye and love the aesthetic of it. I like the choice of colors and how they contrast and complement each other without being too jarring. The use of black as negative space while also creating dimension with it is also very nice. Not to mention the composition, with the motif of flowers being used as the main focal point of the poster while the band name is to the side, which sort of guides your eyes from one half to the other.

I am 19 as of May, 2023. I identify as female. I was born and raised in Florida. My ethnicity is Asian, more specifically Vietnamese and I am a second generation American.

For fun I like to read, this includes manga, manhwa, novels, and fan-fiction. I also like to game solo and with friends, my currently played games include Valorant, Baldur's Gate 3, and Honkai Star Rail. I am not a member of any organized group. I have been working part-time at Wawa for a year now.

What makes me uniquely me, is me. More specifically, I am the culmination and amalgamation of all my experiences, choices and their consequences. A product of nurture and nature. My thoughts, feelings, how I perceive and sense the world have made me who I uniquely am. Though at times I just feel like a girl going through the motions of life.
