Manzanillo, México - we have been sailing along the Mexican Riverina for the past couple of days and arrived back in Manzanillo. We were here in January 8 so it wasn’t really anything new. As I mentioned before it is a great place to go Marlin fishing but we didn’t get here until 11 AM so it was to late for me to go out. We just walked around town, had some fish tacos and met some of the locals. The colorful round things that look like barrels are washing machines that cost about $185 US.
I don't know how to describe this but I feel so burnt out, today we had an earthquake of 7.7, we had a drill in the morning to commemorate both devastating earthquakes the one from 1985 and the one we all lived in 2017 and on this day just like it happened back in 2017 less than an hour after the drill a real earthquake hit us, I didn't even had time to put on a mask, nor grab anything I had to evacuate the building as soon as I felt the wave hit the ground, the power went off, the lines went down and we couldn't communicate with our families for the first time in all these years I started to hyperventilate, it was terrifying and it was so quick it felt like time had become tangible it's almost time to go to bed and I feel like I can't process it, many in my family got sick due to crisis and all I can do is hope for a better tomorrow.
