Thank you for being so angry with the pjo adaptation, I can't wrap my mind around how bad it was.

I'm mostly disappointed, to be honest.

I've been hearing about the evils of studio interference for years. How evil fox ruined the movies, how riordan had pure, holy intentions that weren't allowed to come to fruition, and he would have done it right if allowed. But he didn't.

They had everything, they had a ridiculous budget, good cast, NO STUDIO INTERFERENCE. RR told us himself that Disney let them do whatever and they were going to do the books justice, and then they just.... didn't.

No matter how you slice it, the show is not faithful to the books, and I'm not even saying changes in adaptations aren't allowed bc they're actually necessary, but even when you do them, you can't change the STORY, that's just writing something else, that's not adapting.

Nevermind the fact that many characters are fundamentally misrepresented (sally in particular), they shifted so many plot points forward in a way that is simply impossible for the rest of the series to continue faithfully even if they wanted to make it so.

And, the thing I think is realistically the biggest offense, the show just isn't good, period. The writing is weak, the dialogue is awful, the pacing is terrible, the way they exposition information makes no sense, it's so dark all the time, the tone is inconsistent and it seems to want to cater to all age demographics while working for none. (And the action sucks ass).

So you have a show that doesn't work for fans, cause it's not faithful, and isn't good enough for the general public to enjoy. It's just bad
