I’m new to the fandom-was it a big deal when the mv for Best Song Ever came out? 3 of them had queer roles in it and I just thought that was so brave for the time.

Veronica Malik was a very big deal! She/he/they took almost all the fandom's attention. Leeroy seemed a bit performative and stereotypical, and i don't think many read Marcel as queer. More like a timid nerd.

People were expecting H as the woman and L as Leeroy, so putting the most straight passing ones in the queer roles and L and N dressed up as old unattractive men were sort of disappointing.

I just watched the video again. I didn't realise this until now, but the video is basically 1D recjecting different queercoded boyband looks, and tips from a stereotypical queer man, as not them and something they don't identify with. One underlying message to take from it is that "we're not queer". It's a b win*ton and j cor*en video, so i'm not surprised...

Well this has been in my head all night until now in the afternoon I never read any of your posts about a threesome so here is my concept in case you ever want to write about those.

Think of Harry and Marcel as twins. Y / N is with Harry and they both come to the conclusion (because Y / N primarily proposes it) that they would like to try someone else.The first thing they both think is "Marcel!" When both of them consider it, they notice him nervous because it is the first time they have proposed something like this. As a way to relax the nervous Y / N plays with his sweater, looks at his eyes covered by magnifying glasses (as he is dressed in the best song ever mv).Marcel looks at his twin who gives him a smile giving him to understand that he is fine. When he totally relaxes he starts a rough and dirty sex session Daddy, Y / N and Marcel dedicate dirty words and phrases to each other that make them pump until they end up inside and make Marcel lose that innocent side of a boy with glasses.

niall said in an interview recently (i don’t remember which one or i would link it) that the watford show (the first show of uan) was the band’s worst performance because none of them remembered stage marks and who was supposed to sing which part, and it was all a mess. and i’d just love to experience that.

Hi, can you tell me the origin of the Styles Triplet? I know that Marcel is inspired from the Best Song Ever MV and Harry is Harry I guess. But what is the inspiration for Edward? Why is he usually portrayed as the eldest of the three? Thanks in advance

That’s actually a very good question that I can’t answer because I don’t read Triplet fics (or Twins). In my mind Marcel is the nerd/geek, Harry is sweet/dork Harry, and Edward is the mysterious/hot/dom one, but I can be wrong !
