Tattoo Refs: Shannon Ayers

The second post of the updated tattoo refs, these are Shannon's tattoos! I always had in mind she would have three tattoos, but didn't have any concrete ideas for them till last month(despite making her a year ago). But, I hope you enjoy these!

The one across her shoulder-blades would be water wings, similar to the ones Lapis Lazuli has in Steven Universe. The one on her thigh would be a realistic seal with water lilies(a reference to her being a selkie), and her matching one with her bestie would be a simple ocean wave! Hers is on her left wrist and incorporates a crescent moon(being colored with darker/nighttime colors), while his would incorporate a sun(symbolizing how she is beautiful like the moon, and he is bright like the sun)~

Este miércoles 6 de septiembre, la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (SCJN) aprobó un amparo promovido por el Grupo de Información en Reproducción Elegida (GIRE), que despenaliza el aborto.

La Primera Sala de la Corte consideró que los artículos 330 a 334 del Código Penal federal son inconstitucionales al imponer una pena de prisión a las mujeres o personas con capacidad de gestar que deciden voluntariamente interrumpir su embarazo.

A recent redraw piece I worked on, of this drawing from May of 2021. I was never really happy with how the original turned out, so it has been one of my redraw ideas for a while low-key. I know there is still room for improvement with the new one, but I am way more happy with how it turned out, and to have finally gotten to it! :3

Like the original, this is supposed to be a scene of Brooke and Tia hanging out together in the capital of Feor, taking place a couple of years into the future. At this point Brooke would be living full-time in Feor, living his best life in his new home with his man(who he may or may not be officially married to at this point too), and becoming more accustomed to Feorian culture and close with his in-laws. Of all of them, he is the closest with Hestia, as not only did he have more time to get to know her better and bond during the main story, but also they have a lot in common they feel they can relate with each other with. They would get along so well that it starts to worry Nate every time he sees them together lol

My main goal with this redraw(aside from obviously redrawing it) was to also give them more of their current features and update their outfits from the original! While Tia was in casual attire before, I wanted to give her a new outfit that fit more with her wardrobe, plus give her her freckles and her piercings. Then with Brooke, I wanted to give him a completely different outfit, since he would be living in Feor in this scenario and would thus wear clothes more suited for the hotter weather. Though it wouldn't be Brooke without his layered jewelry, so he has his layered necklaces, bracelets, a few rings, and his earrings(which includes the second set of lobe piercings and right helix piercing he gets in the future). I also decided to make his hair a bit longer here too, since I do see him growing it out for a while. Also, with his soft spot for red-orange who knows if that is his own shirt he's wearing, or if he stole it from his hubby's closet lol
