what kind of Jauria is Buo? I really dig her sideburns and her friendship with Dor. is she also a chaulkurite?
Nope! She’s a lynx, considered one of the ‘shortest’ Jauria castes along with ocelots (hector’s wereform for those who remember, and though not really ‘short’ since males can measure up to 10-12 feet long they keep low to the ground)  and marguay (these are faulty jauria that look more like monkeys and act like them, they’re suuuper common and are considered to be pests at best, often eaten by the developed jauria)

Lynxes are the more common caste, often the most human looking too though they’re built like a brickhouse. They’re very practical and adequate for all jobs, usually the lead strategists, policemen and filling most civilian slots. They’re also the ones whose senses are--though heightened, less prone to suffering mood swings or anger outbursts so good diplomats all in all.
In spite of their size they’re also one of the very few castes that can be bred to exude a command pheromone that makes other jauria docile and obedient in their presence. Buo has this though she rarely recurs to it, preferring to keep her troops behaving out of respect for her rather than forcefully. She’s an incredibly responsible and disciplined Jauria, one would say one of the most exemplary members of Rajenlo’s children.

This is Mintsy, the Marguay which lives at Raquel's Ark, a private wildlife rescue center in Volcan, Panama. She's living in a big enclosure, playing in the grass, climbing the trees, scratching the bark of the trees and enjoying all the attention. She can't be released into the wild, being used to human presence. The population of the Marguays is declining, due to humans that take over the tropical rainforest for agricultural and infrastructure development. In this picture there's no trace of agresivity, Mintsy was just yawning. #panama #rainforest #jungle #tropics #wildlife #wildlifephotography #wild #wildcats #margay #centralamerica #cat #bigcat #animals #animalkingdom #rescue #refuge #love #yawn #yawningcat (at Raquel's Ark Airbnb)
