Someplace Far Away from All This Violence - Legacies x Noralise!Daughter!Reader
You're a Long Way from Home
B/m/n = biological mother’s name
A/n: i can't really remember this episode but it's in the no humanity!Hope era so, should be interesting.
"This is just asking for trouble, Hope. Or maybe you've come to your senses... I'll take that glare as a no. You know they're going to come for you, right?" You replied, leaning on the bookcase as Hope headed towards Alaric's weapons stash in his office, glancing up as an alarm began to sound.
"Back at the school and already causing trouble." Mary-Lou remarked as Nora smirked, the snide smile on her face mirroring the one on Mary-Lou's.
"What are you doing here?" Josie asked, looking at Hope, without realising you were there as you cloaked yourself, silencing your breathing and heartrate with another spell as Hope answered the Super Squad's questions with a level of sarcasm.
"If I put up with this best shot, then will you finally give up on me? Or do I have to find that mother of yours who's never around? Kidding about that last part, sort of. You're going to keep being a thorn in my side, aren't you, Angel?" Hope directed her taunts from Josie to where you were cloaked, smirking as you revealed yourself, jaw clenched as the Super Squad's shocked faces took you in.
"Y/n? I thought... what's going on here?" MG asked, but you ignored him, maintaining your staring contest with Hope, as she smirked at you.
"What did they expect Y/n to do? Take Hope down, or drag her back to the school kicking and screaming? They don't understand our daughter at all..." B/m/n grumbled, folding her arms in annoyance at the Super Squad.
"Long story, not enough time. Whatever you have planned, I'd be quick, Tribrid here has no problem killing time, until it's killing time. I know from experience." You replied, not meeting Josie's eyes as she figured it out.
"It was your heart left in the square."
"J. Hurry." You warned Josie, "Distracting Hope from murder isn't exactly a walk in the park."
"Let's begin!" Hope smiled menacingly.
///
"Should have brought popcorn." You admitted as MG began Salvatore's Got Talent, or something to try get Hope's humanity back.
"I was wrong, this is fun. Next." Hope swivelled in her chair, smirking at you as you leaned against the judge's desk. Hope had the chair, so you were sat on the edge of it, hoping Hope didn't get bored and decide to perform a version of sawing the lady in half.
"You can see it. There's a glimpse of it in her eyes. Concern." Nora realised, leaning close to you, but you would never know, her hand falling through your face as she reached for your cheek to cradle.
///
Turning your head, you frowned as Landon walked on stage, feeling Hope's gaze on the size of your head for a moment.
"I buried him." You whispered, watching as whoever was wearing the illusion ring read out a letter that Landon left behind.
Watching, as Hope read all of the Super Squad for filth, as they looked at you for any sign you were going to try.
"And you, the thorn in my side, the sweet innocent angel, of course, not so innocent, angel can play dirty, probably bring up my parents and how they watch over me after death, like your mothers do. So they can watch helplessly, as I do this..." Hope smirked, standing up as you took a step back, wary about what the hell was happening.
"How does she-" "Bloody hell, Y/n!" Your mothers yelled, watching in pre-anticipated horror.
Hope raised her hand, smirking as you grimaced, pain rushing over you before a scream left your mouth, the spell cloaking your wings failing as your wings were ripped from your shoulder blades, bloodied red feathers falling around your feet as you stumbled, Hope's other hand out to pull your body fowards.
Nora surged forwards, followed by Mary-Lou, but they could do nothing but watch as your screams fell silent.
Your shirt was turning red as your wings dropped to the floor, body limp in Hope's arms before she discarded you. Your crystal quartz halo turning red with blood as you stared up at the Tribrid, her foot pressing on your sternum.
"I still love you."
"Then you're a fool, just like them." Hope whispered, applying pressure with her foot as the light in your eyes faded.
B/m/n held a hand over her heart, gasping for breath, as tears dripped down her cheeks, mirroring the devastation in Mary-Lou's eyes, whilst Nora fell to her knees, wishing she could touch your face and close your eyes.
"Game over. Where are my weapons?" Hope looked up at the Super Squad expectantly, clearly, whatever spell the squad had up to stop Hope from harming anyone during the show didn't cover you.
///
"You shouldn't let your guard down around Hope, daughter. Don't let your love for her become your weakness, make it your strength." Oren warned, his bright light warm as you waited for your body to revive.
///
"Do the wings regrow or do we need to re-attach them for Y/n to revive?" Finch asked as Ethan gave her a confused look.
"I have no idea, will Y/n even revive from this, nobody really said-" Ethan was cut off as the bright light of your revival temporarily blinded Finch and Ethan as you sat up, teleporting immediately.
"Where'd she go?" Ethan asked, but Finch looked at the ground, spotting the loose feathers and the remains of your shirt.
"To get a new shirt?"
Nora let out a breath of relief, taking Mary-Lou's offer for help standing up, whilst B/m/n wrapped her arms around herself, taking deep breaths to still her beating heart.
///
"You remember Jade, right? Former student, actually a lot like you, headstrong, moody, questionable taste in men. She was so scared of her trauma, she turned off her humanity. But, I turned it back on, just like, this..." Dark Josie smirked, snapping her fingers.
///
"Bad news, your little trick didn't work."
"Oh, I figured it wouldn't. You're basically an Original now, even I don't have that kind of power, Y/n might, but she loves you too much to force you to turn your humanity back on, she's like a walking personification of humanity. I just wanted to snap my fingers, see if I could see fear in your eyes. I did." Dark Josie smirked, walking around dramatically as Hope stood still.
"I'm not afraid of anything."
Dark Josie smirked, turning around dramatically as she threw the truth orb at Hope, who caught it immediately as it began to glow.
Red.
Liar.
"Hm, just checking." Dark Josie hummed, observing Hope's glare before the truth orb was shattered.
"Well, I think it's broken."
"But you do know the truth. You're scared of your own humanity coming back. Why else would you kill Y/n, twice, I may add. That feeling, what it felt like when you killed Landon, all that sadness, cling to your defense mechanism all you want. But when it crumbles, and it will. You'll have an even bigger mess than you did before." Dark Josie smirked, absorbing the spell Hope threw at her in response.
"Even the almighty Tribrid can't outrun her trauma forever." Josie taunted, smirking as Hope made her move.
"Watch me." Hope sped forwards, about to attack when a bright light had her pause, as you stood directly in front of her.
Hope paused, feeling your breath brush her lips, eyes taking in your change of clothes, the blood caked into your hair, and your halo.
"You really are a fool."
"And I told you not to underestimate me." You replied, hands going to Hope's shoulders as you began to siphon her quickly, teleporting out of the way as Dark Josie tried to join in the fight, only to be thrown through the gym door and revert back to normal Josie.
"What was her plan?" "She can siphon Hope, that was her plan, it was a warning shot." Mary-Lou figured it out first, as B/m/n asked the key question.
///
You grimaced as Hope trapped Josie in the therapy box, watching carefully as Hope's gaze fell over you, walking past you as she got out her phone.
"Promises, promises. Get in angel, we're going hunting." Hope smirked, hanging up as she put the weapons from the school into the boot.
"More driving? I'm surprised Rebekah didn't report the car as stolen." "And provide the Tribrid with her next meal?" Nora deadpanned, B/m/n falling silent in realisation of her question.

Lisbon Cathedral (No. 7)
The Cathedral of Lisbon, or Church of Santa Maria Maior, is located in the city of the same name, in Portugal. It is the home of the Patriarchate of Lisbon and the Parish of the See. Its construction began in the second half of the 12th century, after the conquest of the city from the Moors by D. Afonso Henriques, and is presented today as a mixture of architectural styles. It has been classified as a National Monument since 1910.
Lisbon has been the site of a bishopric since at least the 4th century, at the end of antiquity. It is also known of the existence of several bishops of the city during the Visigothic period, between the 5th and 7th centuries and In the early 8th century, Lisbon was conquered by the Moors, but the Christian population remained in and around the city. In 1147, when D. Afonso Henriques took the city from the Moors, Lisbon had a Moçarabic bishop (as christians who lived under Muslim rule were called).  After the reconquest of the city by King Portuguese and the knights taking part in the Second Crusade, an English crusader, Gilberto de Hastings, was made bishop. Construction of the cathedral began, apparently on the site of lisbon's old mosque. At the same time, Afonso Henriques brought from the Algarve the relics of Saint Vincent de Zaragoza and deposited them in the See.

There's no I in Team, or Whatever - Legacies x Noralise!Daughter!Reader
You Have to Pick One This Time
B/m/n = biological mother’s name
A/n: i can't remember what this episode is about...
"There no I in team, or whatever, right?" Hope shrugged, glancing around with a frown as she realised you hadn't turned up to the super squad meeeting, and neither had Lizzie.
///
"Y/n, come on, if I have to do this, you're volunteering." Kaleb declared, throwing a 'movie in the square' baseball tee at your face.
"What's movie in the square?" You read off the shirt, raising an eyebrow as Kaleb sighed.
"Doc said we still owed community service for last year's football game." Kaleb replied, leaving you to sigh, pausing as you glanced at your arm.
"Last year's game where she broke her arm saving Ethan's football career?" B/m/n speculated as Mary-Louise shrugged, not really caring about Ethan, or football.
"Yet he seems to have stopped football anyway..." Nora trailed off, raising an eyebrow as you glanced at your arm.
"Hey, do you remember what happened to my cast? I kept dying and reviving and one day it was gone?" You asked, gesturing to your healed arm.
"Girl, you revive in a plume of feathers and bright light, how should I know what happened to it. Just be glad your arm works, now go put on the damn shirt, we have to hussle." Kaleb replied, leaving you to huff and head to your room.
"True." Nora shrugged, but B/m/n and Mary-Lou exchanged looks before glaring at each other.
Pulling off your previous shirt, you tugged the volunteering shirt over your head, eyes landing on your ring as it sat on your desk, eventually walking over to slip it back onto your finger.
"Surprised Y/n didn't just summon it to her."
"She doesn't rely on her magic as much as she used to." B/m/n pointed out after Mary-Lou's comment.
"Game time." You mumbled, heading towards the door.
///
Rolling your eyes, you shared an annoyed look with Kaleb as the pair of you spotted Lizzie and Ethan flirting.
"Do you remeber when our darling daughter had a crush on Lizzie, and now she's head over heels for Hope Mikaelson."
"The Tribrid and the Angel. If only Hope would love anyone as much as she does the felled chicken boy currently possessed by Malivore." Mary-Louise snarked, leaving Nora to hum and B/m/n to roll her eyes.
Continuing to load the popcorn machine with more kernels as Kaleb leaned against it, you listened to Lizzie ramble about how Ethan was epic romance material, but she felt nothing for him.
"How comphet of her..." B/m/n mumbled, whilst Nora and Mary-Louise exchanged confused looks. What the bloody hell did comphet mean?
You zoned out as Kaleb brought up Cleo, only snapping out of it when popcorn hit you in the face from Lizzie making the machine make a mess.
"Oh darn, I'm such a clutz!" Lizzie declared as Ethan came running.
"Popcorn is officially ruined for me." You replied, removing a piece from your shoulder as Kaleb let out a huff of agreement, walking away as Lizzie sent him on his break.
"She missed a bit on her shirt..."
"She didn't like the shirt anyway, Mary-Lou."
///
You paused as you watched MG and Kaleb talking about how MG was jealous of how Ethan and Lizzie were cosying up to each other, leaving you to roll your eyes as you realised Kaleb thought MG was stressed about Lizzie. But you knew the truth, because you had seen Ethan and MG kiss before MG compelled Ethan to forget everything.
Pulling at the candy floss, you grimaced as it began to stick to your fingers.
///
"This movie sucks... and Hope is blowing up my phone with texts?" You murmured to yourself, removing your phone from your boot to glance over your messages.
"Oh, crap. You've got to be kidding me!" You whisper-yelled, glancing around frantically for Lizzie, only spotting Ethan unconscious in the undergrowth of the town square statue instead.
"Any idea what's happening?"
"Do we ever have an idea what is happening, my love?" Mary-Lou admitted with a sigh.
"MG, Kaleb, little help over here!" You whisper-yelled, moving the undergrowth so you could to Ethan.
"Y/n, go with Kaleb to find Lizzie, I'll take Ethan back to the school." MG explained, leaving you to nod as you hurried after the monster with Kaleb, leaving Ethan with MG.
///
"What is this, Salem 1692?" You joked as Kaleb tackled the creature, speeding it into a wall as you ran to Lizzie.
Your mothers snorted with laughter at your joke, watching the ongoing scenes in amusement.
"Y/n, Ethan's hurt-"
"MG's already on it- oh crap, that thing has super strength!" You realised, turning around to spot the monster break free of the restraints Kaleb had bent from an old pipe.
"I'd say language but this is far too interesting to interrupt." B/m/n whispered, wishing she had popcorn or some other snacking food in that moment.
"Kaleb! Y/n!" Lizzie yelled as Kaleb was sent through two walls of drywall, and you were barely not getting crushed under the monster's arm.
"What took you so long!" You snarked as a braided rope wrapped around the monster's arm, revealing Hope on the other side.
"Yeah, she got that snark from you two." B/m/n concluded as the three of them watched Hope turn the monster back into Clarke.
///
Leaning against the vending machine, you sipped on the crappy vending machine tea as you waited for Hope to exit Clarke's patient room at the hospital, trying not to eavesdrop on Lizzie and Kaleb in the process.
///
"Hey, what's- okay, that's an angry stride, what's happening?" You asked, ditching the empty cup of vending machine tea in the bin as you hurried after Hope.
///
"What happened, what's wrong?" Lizzie asked, as she, you, Hope and Kaleb went to find Alaric.
"Malivore escaped. Actually, I let him go."
"And why the hell would you do that?" Hope snapped, leaving you to nod in agreement with Hope.
"I will tell you everything, but first, I should start with what I know about Landon." Alaric replied, leaving your eyes to widen.
"I knew you lied!" You glared, Hope whipping her head around to look at you in confusion.
"You knew?!"
"I can tell when people lie." You replied, folding your arms as you tilted your head to the side, waiting for Alaric to get on with it.
"Is being able to tell when someone is lying an angel power or a Y/n power?" B/m/n asked, unsure of what she was really asking.
"I have no bloody clue." Mary-Lou replied as Nora tilted her head to the side in thought.

pick a card– which book speaks to your soul?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You read something which you thought only happened to you, and you discover that it happened 100 years ago to Dostoyevsky. This is a very great liberation for the suffering, struggling person, who always thinks that he is alone. This is why art is important.
—Conversations with James Baldwin.
this is my love letter to all the bookworms in the tarot community— pick a pile & i'll give you a list of genres + book suggestions carrying important messages to you.
