I finally saw Spiderman No Way Home so my thoughts and spoilers under the cut if y'all still ain't seen it

1. TOBEY LOOKS AMAZING I CAN'T BELIEVE IT I MISSED HIS BEAUTIFUL FACE AND DEMEANOR I ALMOST CRIED

2. ANDREW GARFIELD DESERVED SO MUCH I'M GLAD HE WAS GIVEN THE SCREEN TIME THAT HE HAD SO WE CAN APPRECIATE WHAT WE LOST

3. I actually love Holland but his Peter Parker got shafted. Between the theft of Miles Morales storyline plot points (which Holland had no control over so I dont blame him) and being forever entangled with the whole Best Friend/ Father Figure Billionaire deal that feels so backwards to the character of Spiderman that it can never be untangled... yikes

4. I did not expect this movie to make me feel sad, AND THAT'S RUDE but I'm glad Marisa Tomei got to do at least a few things...

5. YOU GET A REDEMPTION ARC. YOU GET A REDEMPTION ARC. EVERYBODY GETS A REDEMPTION ARC.

6. 👀 to the Anti Murder theme. Spiderman as with Batman being nonlethal is the best way to portray those characters but Holland's Spiderman has killed a lot without much thought which... auehh just goes to show continuity in the cinematic universe is shoddy at BEST (I get that it's supposed to be more personal but still...)

7. I wonder if the black goo Venom left behind is going to be just another venom or a different symbiote because IF THEY CARE ABOUT CONTINUITY it should be something else like carnage was. I would find that storyline more interesting for Holland's Spiderman.

8. They should absolutely give Andrew Garfield a final Spiderman and Tom Hardy should be in it I need them together please this is not a drill

Tom definitely claimed Elle. They would post pics together and comment on each other's posts. She even accompanied him to a couple of red carpets! It's just that Tom has never claimed anyone while he became superfamous. He was heading in that direction with N, but didn't quite get there before they broke up. With Z he was saying "just friends" while doing permanent posts for her bdays and even one of her Met Gala looks

Yea, Tom was way less famous for sure when he was dating Elle, so yea he was pretty open about her! He would post her all the time, and she also attended some of his red carpet events. 😊

But when Tom became famous, it was probably for the best (and possibly even encouraged by his team) to remain PRIVATE about his personal dating life. Which, is smart!

Even so however, you can even tell by how much he posted Zendaya that there was smthg going on with them, cuz Tom doesn't usually just post a whole bunch of women on his feed. If you go back and look (and yes, you all made me actually go back and LOOK lol 😅) Tom usually will post pics of his mom, his makeup artists or groomers, maybe the odd birthday post here and there for Marisa Tomei, or even smthg sweet about Naomi Watts, but aside from that, the ONLY girl (esp around his age) that he was posting to his feed after Elle was Zendaya. I went back and I actually counted at least 20 posts with Zendaya’s photo on it.... THAT alone should have been a huge clue that this girl was someone special to him, and NOT just a “co-star” or “platonic friend”. 👀 In a way I think he was claiming her... just very subtly.

A lot of the posts you can perhaps just blame on "Spider-man promo and PR", but I noticed that he was posting stuff with her that wasn't even during the times they were filming OR promoting SM. 👀 And while some were promo photos, some were also personal photos of them together (in a group of course lol 😏), or them hanging out, or he would do birthday posts for her....

He would even post pics that had nothing to do with Z, but would reference her in the caption post... like this post for example:

Fans really need to start reading btwn the lines seriously lol... 😅

But either way, it really doesn't matter what fans or even the general public thinks or knows. As long as the people involved know what is going on and what the real deal is, that's really all that matters tbh 🤷🏾‍♀️
