"rumor has it you fancy someone, have you heard?"

it slips from your lips as easily as you slip into his office, leaning against the door frame with a half-quirked smile. kaeya shrugs carelessly, setting his paperwork aside.

"why, the rumors are true, i'm afraid," he says, playing along with glimmering eyes. he lowers his voice till it is but a whisper. "there's this special someone i'm sweet on, but i'm not quite sure they feel the same."

"i'm sure they adore you right back," you reply, feeling a grin stretch across your face.

he stands as you shut the door behind you, and you can only waltz into his embrace. "i think anyone who can catch your eye is a lucky one, sir kaeya."

he hums contentedly, a hand resting comfortably on your hips. his free hand gently tilts your chin upward to meet his gaze. kaeya naturally ran cold, but at that moment he was oh so very warm.

his next words are soft, a quiet admission.

"but... certainly not as lucky as i am to have them."

Billy would like to say it is in fact not his fault. It’s really not. Who hits someone with magic they obviously don’t know how to use? Well okay maybe he had done that before, but it’s not like he ever did it around other people where they could get hit!

But someone was an idiot and now he’s here, as his normal ten-year old self kicking his legs while sitting in the Watchtower as the others argued. Apparently the League thinks he’s been de-aged, which is good as his secret isn’t out.

The uh, issue is that something about the spell might have um, partially manifested the gods- or as he called them the Mediterranean Magic Men, if only because of how annoyed it made Zeus. Now everyone can see the chat that’s usually only visible to him and apparently it’s concerning.

He doesn’t see how it’s an issue, Zeus has been silenced for the next hour and Hercules has been dying of laughter for the last three. Oh, wait, it might be from Mercury’s constant attempted flirting with Flash. …Or the fact they’re trying to convince him to commit a crime and he’s honestly down for doing so seeing as he’s a homeless ten year old who is down for getting clairvoyance and super speed for the next thirty minutes in exchange…

Anyone ever got a shitshow of a comment like that? Please tell me this is spam (username indicates it), because otherwise this despicable piece of shit just triggered another bout of depression.

*edit*: Got confirmed by several friends that they got similar comments, all directed to the same webnovel. Different criticism, but about all it was perfectly clear, bot/person never read the stories in question but only want to boost that webnovel project if anything. Leaving this post out there so other people hopefully won't get their day ruined like me.

*edit2*: A user on this post confirmed, they got their spam attack at the same time I did. So it definitely sounds like a a targeted, automated attack on Marvel fics. Reblogs appreciated so people don't get as upset over this as I was for a moment.

*edit3*: Another user on this post just said, they had a comment like that on their Harry Potter fic, the comment referring to a Harry Potter project on webnovel. So it's not even only Marvel related and in that case probably is not being initiated by the author of the projects in question on webnovel.
