Treasure as tropes REMASTERED VERSION, OT12

Just treasure as really cliché tropes + mini scenarios but version 2023 because I changed my writing a lot and it was crap.

Warning : grammatical errors sorry English is still not my mother tongue , really cheesy and cliché...Well that's the whole point. Sorry if its not good, its been a while...

Co-Worker to lover - Hyunsuk was a famous producer, always praised by everyone, especially your other co-workers. You were also a producer but more on the discreet and shy side. You obviously knew Hyunsuk I mean who didn't ? He was the best producer of the agency ! One day, your manager asked the two of you to work together on a song. Honestly, you never felt this anxious before. Not only because Hyunsuk was a really good producer and a very attractive man but also because you started to develop a crush on the latter. Writing and composing the song together was the best experience ever, you got along very well and Hyunsuk felt home. Within only few days, you composed an amazing song, yet you couldn't help but feel sad ; if the song is finished, it means you won't work with Hyunsuk anymore. But Hyunsuk wasn't ready to let you go so the last day, he gathered his courage and asked you out on a date, only the two of you at the café near the studio. You smiled wildly, laughed loud, blushed like crazy during the whole date and you probably looked like a dummy but you liked this feelings, the butterflies in your stomach. Hyunsuk was cheerful, cuddly, kind a cute and at this time, for the first time in your life, you knew that you were in love.

And it was seemingly reciprocated. You'll always remember the words Hyunsuk told you that day "Y/N... I think I love you. Will you let me take you on other dates ? As your boyfriend ?"

Fake bf to lover -

"Please please, pretty please Jihoon be my fake boyfriend. I beg you !" you pleaded your friend, Jihoon , the plan was to make you ex-boyfriend jealous and ,being the playful as always, the boy accepted. It was just an act after all, none of you will catch feelings... Right ?

At first it was just in public ,you two were a bit touchy yet you never kissed or anything else ,just little hugs here and there and that was it and to be honest...you almost forget your ex, everything with Jihoon felt so real and nice.

Then, one day ,when you saw your ex step in while you were with Jihoon, the boy grabbed your waist tightly and, as if it was nothing important, he kissed you ,like if he wanted to claim that you were his and only his. It took you long to realize but you liked it, the kiss, it felt incredible and you felt things that you never felt with your ex.

Since the kiss ,the two of your became close even when it was only you and him alone. You liked to cuddle together while watching films, send cute texts to each other all day long, bake together cookies that you accidentally burnt , Jihoon even kissed you once when you two were watching a cute silly movie. Afterwards, everything just happened so naturally, the kiss were more and more frequent and one day, Jihoon couldn't keep his feelings to himself anymore. So he talked to you, assuming his feelings for you and waiting to be rejected. But it obviously didn't happen ; you just pecked his lips and whispered how much you loved him too.

요시 • Yoshi

Childhood friend to lover -

Yoshi is a sweetheart since ...forever. When you two were still little kids, he was the greatest and loveliest best friend alive ,the most caring little thing that could exist.

Still, years passed and unfortunately, the two of you lost contact ,high school naturally separated the both of you, as if it was your fate to be far away from each other. Yoshi was the popular type, handsome, loved by absolutely everyone and every girls had a crush on him while you...You were here and that's already enough. You always wandered around with your little and cozy friend group.

But you'll always remember that day, when you saw him at the art club. At first, you were too shy to even talk to him but when he approached you, you just couldn't help speaking a lot,remembering the good times together and Yoshi listened to you with sparkling eyes, those eyes you adored. And it suddenly hit you... you missed him more than you would ever admit, you felt like a part of your heart was gone all this years, like something was missing and you found it... It was Yoshi. Yoshi just brought half of your heart back.

Stanger to lover/love at first sight -

It was just something about the way his big and smiley eyes smiled at you, something about his rosy and puffy cheeks when you two had an eye contact. You didn't know him and even if you didn't believe in love at first sight now you did ,he was just a random guy at the amusement park with two of his friends yet he just hit different. He was breathtaking he had longs legs ,small face, the cutest smile you'd ever seen, he was perfect. Actually, he was more than perfect.

Lost in your thoughts, you didn't noticed how his two friend were shamelessly teasing him because he was staring at you while smiling like an idiot. He just got lost in your beautiful sparkly eyes, as if they were reflecting all the stars and other celestial bodies that were decorating the sky. Junkyu just knew he fell in love.

And you knew it you, however, you just couldn't make a move, you were a way too shy to do it. But Junkyu couldn't let you go that easily, as you were about to disappear of his sight, he ran after you then, with the cutest smile on his face, he asked for your number.

That's how a wonderful romance started.

마시호 • Mashiho

Brother's bestfriend to lover -

Mashiho was the best friend of your brother and ,and since you were around 10 years old ,you grew used to see him practically everyday at your place, sometimes playing basketball, some other times dancing with your brother. And you genuinely enjoyed to watch him because he was surely the best at the two sports. Actually, Mashiho was good at everything.

Being younger than him, you knew that you should look at the boys of your age but Mashiho was just different, always happy with a smile on his face and you loved him for that... Yes you loved him. You had feelings for him. Sometimes, the older even cooked you some dishes when your parents weren't here ; the boy seemed to have a soft spot for you.

He just felt the need to constantly look after you, he needed to take care of you because his love for you was on an other level. Yes, he was also in love with you. So where's the problem you might ask. Your brother was kinda...protective.

Yet, one day, Mashiho eventually found the courage to talk about his huge crush on you with your brother when they were only the two of them ,playing random games at your house "If you break their heart I break every single bones you have in that body of yours. Do you hear me ?" Your brother warned and Mashiho promised to never hurt you. And he never broke that promise.

Confidant to lover -

Jaehyuk, your human-secret diary, you trusted him more than anyone. He was always the first to know your secrets, when someone broke your heart he was the first to know, when you had problems with your family you talked with him or when you had a new crush you always told him before anyone. Well it was like that until you realized something.... This time you had a crush on him. Obviously, you never told him that, what if he rejected you ?

However, Jaehyuk was a sweetheart and the poor boy loved you his whole life but was a way too respectful to tell you his feelings while you were in love with an other boy. Actually, he was also too scared of rejection.

But one day, the feelings grew too much and you couldn't contain yourself, you loved his puppy-like personality and the way he always cared about you so much so, after many conversation with you, yourself and the reflect in your mirror, you finally decided to confess.

"Jaehyuk ,you know what, I'm in love with someone" you told him one day when you two were hanging out "Oh...Really ?" He whispered, kinda sad because he obviously thought that, as always, you liked an other boy and not him. "Yeah and I'll prove him my feelings right now" you muttered before pressing your lips against his soft ones.

아사히 • Asahi

Friend's friend to lover (?) -

The first time you saw Asahi was when you friend ,Mashiho introduced him to you while you were hanging at the dorm with the older of the two. Asahi, Mashiho's roommate, walked in the living room as you were cuddling with the said boy and let a little "Oh-" escaping from his mouth when he saw you, your arms around his friend's torso as you were snuggling your friend. Thereafter, the poor boy just ran aways, suddenly feeling shy and embarassed, he locked himself in his room, leaving you and Mashiho confused "Yeah it's Asahi... one of my roommates." Your friend chuckled.

But your face stayed in Asahi's mind and, haunting his dreams and invading his thoughts. Asahi, when he saw you with his japanese friend thought you were the said boy s/o so, the evening ,when you were finally gone, Asahi decided to ask his friend directly "You know the person who was here this afternoon...are they your s/o ?" He asked with a quiet and breathy voice making Mashiho laugh loudly "Y/n ? No, absolutely not they're my friend. Why ? Are you jealous?" The older boy teased the younger boy "Yes." Asahi shamelessly replied ,being a way too serious about you.

Then Mashiho understood that his roommate had a crush on you. Actually, everyone understood it because the boy always talked about you. And Mashiho being the good friend and wing man that he is, eventually introduced Asahi to you properly and the two of you became really close fastly, you were the only one who knew all his secrets, the only he really trusted . You were his favorite friend and he was yours and maybe... you were more than just friends ?

방 예담 • Bang Yedam

Soulmate au -

Since you were a kid, everyone around you repeated you that the sentence written on your wrist will be the first words your soulmate will tell you. Yours was "That's a great book" which honestly surprised you because you were never the type to read in public, actually you never went in a library and only bought the books you red online. Well that was before one of your best friends forced you to come to the library with her.

Without thinking at your soulmate, who you actually kind of forgot, you were looking at some random book while your best friend was paying hers when you suddenly heard an unknown voice behind you "That's a great book. You should really read it". At first, you just thought it was a weird guy then you remembered it ; the sentence on your wrist... was it him ?

"Wait ...hum excuse me but who are you?" You exclaimed, turning around to see an handsome boy looking right through your eyes. The unknown boy also seemed as surprised as you as he looked at his own wrist "C-Can you show me your wrist ?" He mumbled, visibly awkward. Then you did it, the both of you flustered as you understood, yes, it was him.

Barista and customer to lover -

Doyoung was a good barista, ok ....maybe he sometimes forgot some customer's orders and he set the kitchen in fire but for his defense, it happened only once ! But except that one accident, we can say that Doyoung was the perfect barista. And one day, when he saw an unknown and beautiful person walking in the café, he felt his heart being heavy and his stomach uncomfortably twist.

" Hum ,Hi can I take your order ?" The handsome boy asked, looking into your eyes. "Hmm a Frappuccino please" you answered, politely smiling at the barista. "Everything for a princess like you" he smirked, giving you a wink and then, he ran to the kitchen as fast as he physically could, leaving you confused and blushing.

Then, Doyoung, being the little flirty as always, had written his number on a napkin and gave it to you before you could step out the café . To be honest, at first you were too shy to contact him but, with your friend's help, you finally sent him a text

And that's how a wonderful relationship started...

Secret admirer -

Haruto was though and scary to everyone's eyes but actually, the boy was a literal softie and he always has something for you yet, even if he liked to show his confident side, he was too scared to talk to you. Then, being tired of their friend being a coward, Haruto's friend advised him to write you notes and put them in your locker. Haruto loved the idea and agreed at one condition : keeping the notes anonymous.

On your side, you loved your secret admirer's notes, they were always so comforting and the person writing it was always praising you. However, you never tried to know who sent you that though, just because you didn't felt the need to.

Still, after months and months sending you those notes, Haruto finally decided to tell you who he was, one day, he just gave you the note in person, revealing to you his charming smile. Honestly you were surprised when you saw Ruto, he looked like a mean guy always so full of himself but you were wrong, he was a soft and gentle boy.

Then, the said boy confessed his feelings for you ,facing you and holding your hands and before you even noticed it, you fell for him and his perfect smile.

Secret crush to lover -

Jeongwoo was your crush... How could he not be when he is handsome, funny, attentive and loving ? Nevertheless, you never told anyone, not even your best friend and you truthfully never thought Jeongwoo will ever notice you. He was a popular boy, the funny and outgoing boy of your class, always making every students and professor laugh especially when they were feeling down and you, you were the nerd one and obviously not Jeongwoo type.

Well... that was only what you thought because Jeongwoo was crazy over you, behind his popular image, Jeongwoo hide a sensitive and delicate side deeply in him and because of this side ,he couldn't approach you or just tell the feelings he had for you ; he was a way too scared.

But one day, when you two were paired for a school work, it was getting impossible for you to hide your feelings so you decided to confess, even if Jeongwoo will probably reject you. And, what you didn't know was that Jeongwoo also planned to confess the same day, that's how your lovely romance took place.

Junghwan was the best friend you ever had ,you trusted him with your whole heart but there actually one thing you hide to him... The deep feelings you had for him. And you promised to yourself to never tell him because your friendship was more important than anything for you. You just couldn't let your silly feelings break everything because Junghwan was your whole world.

Junghwan wasn't like you though, he was scared to break your friendship indeed but he wanted to tell you that he love you more than only a "best friend" , he wanted a cuddle date, good night kisses, comforting hugs which ends with one sleeping on one other shoulder ; he wanted all of that and more importantly : he wanted you as his significant other.

"We need to talk" Junghwan said when you both were at his dorm, you'd planned to watch a movie together. You anxiously hummed as an answer "I like you, I really do Y/n, more than friends and I understand If the feelings are not reciprocated, I just wanted you to know it" he sweetly spoke, his hands holding yours tightly.

"Junghwan are you kidding me ? Tell me it's not a joke" you questioned, picking your nails. " No, of course not ! I love you Y/N !" he almost yelled, trying to prove his feelings. "I think I love you too Junghwan" You whispered so quietly that the said boy hardly heard it as your heart was racing in your chest.

Teume Cafe: Yedam ending: Sereni-tea

you spend every single day of your finals studying at the Teume café, and you swear it's not on purpose, but you always find yourself there when Yedam is working.. what a coincidence!

he always brings you a new drink to try, always with a saucer so you don't spill your drinks over your notes.

"i think you'll like this one. based on your reviews of all the drinks i've given you this past few days, this time of flavour seems to match your taste. it's a flavoured tea latte this time!" he tells you one day as he sets another drink down.

his grin makes you dizzy and you smile awkwardly at him as you take a sip.

"it's really good," you say.

you watch Yedam try to hold in his laughter. his eyes gloss over as he tears up while doing so.

"huh?" you ask.

"you've got foam on your lips..." he says quietly, right away wiping it off with his thumb. he slips the thumb into his mouth, and the way he does everything so naturally gives you butterflies.

at this point, you have no more doubts. Yedam is definitely flirting with you.

at first, you thought he was just some kind of playboy, but you've noticed he only acts this way with you. while he throws brief smiles and speaks warmly to other customers, his winks, grins, and him literally touching your lips are not things he does with other people.

you even talked about it with Haruto the other day. yes, Haruto! you finally got to meet the café's pretty boy, and he's actually a great listener.

he told you that, just between you and Haruto, Yedam definitely feels some type of way about you.

"he knows what time you'll come in so he always makes sure the spot you usually sit at is clean, and that your favourite songs are playing. nothing is by chance when you walk into the café anymore. he does everything for you."

thinking about Haruto's words makes you shiver, not in a bad way but because you're so overwhelmed with Yedam'a attention to detail.. and again, overwhelmed in a good way.

"are you cold? should i lower the ac?" Yedam asks immediately, worry flooding his face.

"no, no!" you say, trying to explain that your shiver didn't mean anything.

yet, before you know it, Yedam's jacket is hanging on your shoulders.

"oh.." you say.

"don't catch a cold while you study, y/n," Yedam tells you, going back behind the counter.

you manage to get some studying done despite being lost in your thoughts about Yedam and his flirting. once you decide you should take a study break, you lean back in your chair and stretch, then standing up to talk to Yedam for a bit to pass the time.

"how's it going?" he asks while wiping the counter.

"pretty good! i've been getting a lot done.. i actually feel ready for my exams!"

Yedam smiles and it feels like the sun is shining.

"i'm so glad.. you've been working so hard!" he says.

suddenly, he stops wiping and his expression turns more serious. he looks at the counrer as he tells you, "after your exams are done, will you agree to do something with me?"

"do what?" you ask.

"go on a date," Yedam replies, shyly for someone who's been nonstop flirting with you.

"oh.. i'd actually like that!" you say.

Yedam smiles, a blush coating his cheeks.

"just tell me when your last exam is. i can pick you up and we'll go eat something good together," he says.

Mellow speaks: This is for my super lovely angel, Kari!!!! Thank you so much for being so so so nice to me love, and it really was a pleasure writing this for you. I know the Mashidam hiatus has hit you hard, so I hope this acts as somewhat of a relief to the heartbreak. I love you, do enjoy!

Also, I decided to go with Mashiho since he's actually away from Korea for the time being, while Yedam hasn't actually gone anywhere and so missing Y/N wouldn't make much sense lol.

Hey pumpkin, How are you doing??

I know. You're probably thinking, "That's what I should be asking you, Mashi," while shaking your head, right? But that's okay, because it's what you ask me every single time we talk anyway. And that's why I figured that the least I can do is ask you the same, for once.

I hope you're doing good, and I hope you're taking care of yourself and eating and sleeping on time even without me forcing you to. I mean, yeah, I do call you up during mealtimes and at night just to remind you to do the bare minimum for yourself, but it's not the same as grabbing your arm or lifting you off your feet just to carry you to the dining table or the bed, you know?

Oh and, how are your classes going? Please don't say, "They're being a pain" again, because that's what your probably told me the last time I asked you on FaceTime. I know they're a pain, but it's a pain that you're very much capable of bearing, because you're my fighter baby, right? I just hope you're doing your work consistently and not overworking your cute little body too much. Even if something seems hard the first time you read it, I want you to step back and give it a rest for a while, instead of working yourself till you burn out.

And now, you better not go all "Aww you care so much!" on me, because both of us know how you care just as much when I'm practicing too hard and not resting.

I'm doing well here too, helping mum and dad around in the house and playing with Kotetsu in my free time. I'm regularly working out too, just so I can still be hot when you see me again. But don't you worry my angel, because I'm still taking things easy so as to not strain my body too much, even when I'm dancing.

Wow.....writing a letter is so much harder than I had thought. But I guess it can't be helped since most of the things I'm telling you, I tell you every day anyway. But it's just that....there's still something I haven't said much on call or on FaceTime, because I was shy of seeing or hearing your reaction. And that's why I decided to send you a letter in the first place, so I can show you what's going on inside my head without being shy.

So, the thing is....I just miss you so much. This is the first time we've been away for so long, and I'm not liking it one bit. Being with my family is great, it really is. But that doesn't mean I've completely forgotten about life in Seoul, about the members and most importantly, about you. It's just not the same without your form sitting on the counter while I cook something for you, and it's not same without having you lean into my shoulder whenever you feel some extra love for me.

I miss going on dates with you, and I miss sneaking out late at night just to see the surprised look on your face. I really needed this break, heaven knows I did. But I just wish you could be here with me right now. I need to hold you in my arms so bad, and I need to kiss you and call you all the pet names that you know I cringe at. I want to feel your hands running through my hair, and I want to feel your heart beating against mine.

It's been less than a month and I already miss you so much it's not even funny anymore. I know I'm supposed to be resting, but then again, how I am I supposed to do that when all I can think about is you? I don't want to hurt you by saying this, but I think you deserve to know of all the tears I've shed because of how lonely I feel without having your laughter ringing right next to me.

Miss, want, need. None of these words is enough to describe what I've been feeling these days, it's like a void in my heart that will only be filled when you're in my arms. I know we can't possibly meet any time soon, and I know it's selfish to even think like this. And yet, I can't help but wonder what it would be life if you could come here to Mie, even if it's just just 2 days.

Gosh, I'm actually crying while writing this, so please don't mind if some of the words get smudged off. I'm crying so hard right now, and still, all I'm wishing is that you won't cry while you read it.

I'm sorry for this princess, I really am. But being without you is getting under my skin now, and I just had to let you know.

🐼 you fell for his tactic as you replied, "yeah, sure."

🐼 jihoon would have a shit-eating grin on his face, blabbering smth to ensure you still believed he was talking to junkyu

🐼 "he's asking if you can make your brownies when you are coming?" "oh, okay, i can do that."

🐼 "kyu is also asking if you are still mad at me?" he'd try his luck, waiting for an answer

🐼 "no, not re—wait a minute!" you'd frown at jihoon, not amused by his little trick to get you to speak to him

🐼 "nuh–uh, you can't go back to your silence now. you already spoke to me, so keep it going."

KANEMOTO YOSHINORI

🐯 fights with yoshi don’t escalate too far because he knows how to take a step back and let the rage blow over so you two can address the issue calmly

🐯 so until your anger blew over, you went on a vow of silence, not realizing how much it affected yoshi when you didn’t respond to him

🐨 “dude, you do know y/n is mad at you, right?” jihoon would ask when he sees his best friend constantly try to speak to you and just wave it off when you didn’t respond

🐨 and that’s when the meteor of realization would hit junkyu, and he’d instantly be there by your side, apologizing for being an idiot

🐨 as he blabbers, you can’t help but laugh at his explanation, and you’d let him know that it was all in the past, just advising him to be more attentive the next time

🐨 “i am gonna be super attentive from now on, i promise. nothing is gonna get past me!”

🐹 if you wanted to be petty and give him the silent treatment, he’d do the same

🐹 the house is absolutely silent as you two just don’t make any effort to talk to the other

🐹 you will still do your work around the house, just without sharing a single word between the two of you

🐹 that is until mashiho hurts himself while cooking because even tho he doesn’t admit it, he’s a bit worried if he went too far with the argument you two had

HYUNSUK. whenever you were around, this man became even more of a giggly mess than he already was. you’d clicked as soon as you’d met and lately, you’d been hanging out more and more, never getting bored of each other but not quite ready to put a label on your relationship just yet. this particular day, you were hanging out at his studio - his flattering excuse to hang out had been that he needed inspiration for his next song and your presence would give him just that. he’d been working on his song for about five minutes when he turned to you, saying he was unable to concentrate with you around. clearly, he hadn’t tried to keep the charade up for long. you told him you’d try to be as undistracting as possible but he shook his head and said he wanted to spend time with you anyway. and that’s how you found yourself engaged in an aegyo battle with hyunsuk, the goal being to make the other cringe as much as possible. you realized right there how whipped you must’ve been for him, considering his aegyo didn’t make you cringe at all, but rather made him all the more endearing to you. so much adoration for him washed over you that, without thinking, you placed your palms on the sides of his face and pressed a kiss to the top of nose. you quickly pulled away, both of your faces turning a deep shade of red as realization of what you’d just done dawned on you. after three seconds of looking stunned, he fell into an umpteenth burst of giggles and asked with a grin, “what was that, y/n?”. you hid your face in your hands and mumbled that it was nothing. “just ignore it,” you said. “i don’t think i want to ignore it,” he said, a smile still playing on his lips, but the lightheartedness of his tone did nothing to hide the meaning behind his words. you felt your breath hitch in your throat as his eyes drifted down from your eyes to your lips, and this, ladies, gentlemen and non-binaries, is how you had your first kiss with choi hyunsuk.

JIHOON. treasure finally had a day off and jihoon had insisted on taking you out for a shopping date. (when he’d called it that, his usual confident facade had crumbled just a bit and his cheeks had reddened as he finally fully admitted to his intentions with you.) you’d told him to spend the day relaxing at the dorms or with his family, but he’d been adamant on taking you out, promising he’d pay for everything and anything you wanted as a thank you for waiting so long to hang out with him. he took you to a shopping mall in the fancy part of seoul and you had one of the best lunches of your life there - you weren’t sure if the food was just that amazing, or if it was because the boy you were with made everything a thousand times better. after that, you’d strolled from boutique to boutique, you too shy to ask for anything, but him making up for that by constantly handing you a bunch of clothes for you to try on. you grew more and more confident as you tried more outfits on, pretending the changing rooms were your personal runway as jihoon clapped for the outfits he particularly liked - although he found you so pretty, you could wear the most disgusting piece of clothing on earth, he’d still think you were incredibly beautiful. by the end of the day, you had a wardrobe full of new amazing outfits, and you wondered how jihoon still had a cent left in his bank account. you insisted on paying for coffee as if that changed anything, and he’d said it wasn’t necessary but he found it endearing how resolute you were about getting him that latte. as you waited in line to order, you noticed how he was carrying all of your bags without a single complaint, and you were just so grateful for him in that moment that you leaned in and pressed a peck to his cheek, muttering a small ‘thank you’ as you pulled away. as soon as he’d felt your lips, his heart had started beating like crazy, but he didn’t want to lose his cool in front of you so he simply looked down at you and said, “i should take you out more often if this is how you’ll thank me.” let’s just say you went on many, many more dates after that.

YOSHI. after not seeing you for a few weeks, yoshi missed you more than he wanted to admit (even though he’d tell anyone who’d listen just how much he missed you). you knew he was busy with comeback preparations and told him you could wait, but one afternoon, he decided to sneak out of practice, knowing he’d get told off by his leaders and managers but missing you too much to care. he made sure you were actually free that day and told you to meet at your favorite hang-out spot, an underground arcade and food court. his heart was pounding at the idea of seeing you again after such a long time, and when his eyes finally found you, arms crossed as you waited for him at the entrance of the building, a huge grin spread onto his face. you could tell something was different by the way he hugged you when he got to your level - the hug was a bit longer, a bit tighter than usual, and you felt your heart swell when you realized that maybe, just maybe, he liked you the same way you liked him. you pulled away after a few seconds, his arms still around you as you smiled at each other. you did all the things you usually did: compete on the dance game machines (he always won) and on the car racing machines (you always won), then tried to win the other a stuffed toy from the claw machines (neither of you ever did), then ate an unhealthy amount of french fries as you sipped on a strawberry milkshake and he on a vanilla one, even though you always stole a bit from each other, and both ended up with a strawberry-vanilla shake. everything you did was the same as usual - but it felt different. his eyes lingered on your face, his hands found a way to sneak themselves around your waist. when you decided to take a few pictures at the photobooth, he insisted that you sit on his lap rather than side by side like usual, and you did, wrapping your arms around his neck as he held you firmly by the waist. after two shots, you decided to take your courage in your hands and finally do something about this tension between the two of you, so you leaned in to press a kiss on his cheek. but he must’ve felt your stare on him, so just as you leaned in close to him, he turned his face, and your lips ended up on his. you both pulled away at the same time, the photobooth taking a picture of your stunned expressions. however, his shock quickly turned into giddiness as he added another coin to start the booth again, and just as the lights went off, he kissed you on the lips, on purpose this time. “that way, we have pictures of our last seconds as friends and of our first seconds as a couple,” he’d explained afterwards.

JUNKYU. this was another normal day for you and your best friend: just hanging out on his bed, laying in increasingly random but comfortable positions, stalking your old classmates on facebook or watching niche asmr videos for hours and ordering your comfort food when your stomach growls became too loud and painful to ignore. this time, you were separately scrolling through tiktok, only ever talking to show the other something you think they’d like. you stumbled upon a new trend, one where two friends sat together and the one making the tiktok kissed their friend when certain lyrics of the song played, hoping they will kiss them back. you glanced at junkyu - maybe he didn’t know the trend, because the sound coming from your phone hadn’t seemed to catch his attention. it painfully reminded you of just how much you’d been wanting to kiss your best friend immediately. how could you not when he was so adorable? wiping the corner of your lips when you ate messily, the way he laughed when you made stupid jokes, his warm hugs whenever you had to go home; it all made you fall more and more for him, but like any person with feelings for their best friend, you knew it was risky to admit them to him. so you stayed quiet - until that day, at least. you thought, “if he doesn’t want to kiss me, at least i can play it off as doing the trend.” so you sat up and asked him to do the same, sitting at the edge of the bed together. you prompted your phone on one of his shelves, making sure the audio and video were cropped right before you pressed play and ignoring him as he bugged you with questions. “you’ll see, just sit there and uh… listen to the audio. listen carefully, okay?” you instructed quietly. he obediently did as told, an excited expression on his face. when he realized he knew this song and what lyrics came next, a huge grin spread onto his lips, and before he knew it, you were leaning in and kissing him. neither of you knew that the other had been waiting for this exact moment, but he kissed you back instantly, even pulling you back in when you started leaning away and smiling into the whole kiss, the tiktok long forgotten as the music played over and over in the background. long story short, this was how make-out sessions became a thing when you and junkyu, your best-friend-turned-boyfriend, hung out.

MASHIHO. finally back home in japan for a month-long break, mashiho was planning on spending as much time with his family and his friend group from high school, which you just so happened to be in. once upon a time, you and mashiho had been very close. it was very obvious to all of your friends that you liked each other, but neither of you had dared to make a move, scared of damaging your friendship, and before you could gather the courage to confess your feelings, he had been whisked away to south korea to finish his training and debut as a member of treasure. this was the first time you saw him in real life and not on a screen in almost two years, but it only took a couple of days for your feelings to come back as if they had never disappeared in the first place - which they probably hadn’t, anyway. it’d been a week since he’d come back, and you were all hanging out at the basketball court of your old high school at 10 pm after having gone out for dinner. most were playing a game of basketball but you and two of your other friends had decided to hang back, saying you’d eaten too much to move around when you really just couldn’t be asked. mashiho, who was used to destroying absolutely everyone on the court, was of course surprised when his friends were able to stop some of his attacks and shoot perfectly even from afar. they took a small break and you told him how they’d practiced during his absence so that they could finally play an actual game against him without being ridiculed. the smirk on mashiho’s face as he said, “alright then, bring it on,” was very unhealthy for your poor heart who started beating a thousand times a minute, the simple action launching a horde of butterflies in your stomach. you watched the game, and more precisely him, with a lot more attention after that, shouting his name for encouragement and clapping when his team won a point. when he winked and waved at you after landing a shot, you really felt like the girlfriend of an american athlete at one of his college games, and you liked that feeling a little too much. you were so invested in this game that when his team finally won, practically all thanks to him, the adrenaline made you jump up from your seat on the ground to run over to him and press a congratulatory kiss to his cheek. this already made everyone cheer louder than the game did, so imagine just how loud your friends were when mashiho, shaking off his surprise, grinned wider, took you by the waist, and kissed you on the lips.

JAEHYUK. similarly to junkyu, i imagine jaehyuk as being a besties before lovers type of guy, except that he really treats you like his girlfriend but just doesn’t have the guts to actually call you that. he always takes you on ‘hangouts’ that are more like dates, facetimes you at random hours of the day and night, calls you pretty whether you’re dressed up or not; he just does everything right, basically. everything but one thing, which is to make things official, and you’d be lying if you said his behavior didn’t worry a little bit. you’d heard too many stories of girls being led on by their friends who act like boyfriends without the label and then turn around and make her think she’s delusional when she asks them about it. you really doubted jaehyuk could act like that, and in your head the worst-case scenario was that he was just oblivious to what he was doing and thought it normal, even though his friends always told you it was as clear as a sunny day he liked you and was just too scared to make the final move. this was why you had made up your mind that on your next date-like meeting with him, you’d finally gather enough courage for the both of you and act on your feelings, whether that meant straight-up confessing or doing something that couldn’t be seen as ambiguous in terms of where you two stood. it hadn’t even been a couple days since you’d taken this decision when he called you, asking if you were free next sunday, his nearest day off. as always, everything went perfectly, from his compliment on your new outfit, to the diner he’d picked out, to the way he made you laugh and your heart skip a beat. jaehyuk, however, wasn’t the type to flirt just to make you happy, but also so he could hear it back, and so he always found ways to make you compliment him as well - the fun part was to tease him and pretend you hadn’t noticed his new haircut or that you didn’t like his outfit that much just to see him pout and then grin widely when you said you were joking and that, yes, he looked very handsome. “oh yeah? so handsome that you wanna kiss me, i bet?” - this was another one of his favorite lines. you usually dismissed him with a roll of your eyes and told him to shut up, but today, you stayed quiet, thinking this might be your chance. he took your silence as flusteredness and added, “oh my god, you totally wanna kiss m-”, but you effectively interrupted him with a quick peck on the lips, shutting him up for good as you leaned back in your seat and continued eating as if nothing happened. he stared at you blankly, mouth slightly open, and touched his fingers to his lips like the female lead in a kdrama. without a word, he leaned in as you did seconds prior and pecked you just as quickly as you had, making you the shocked one this time. “if you get to do it, i get to do it too,” he said, pouting down at his food. when your gazes found each other, you burst into giggles, and after you calmed down, he very cutely threatened “just wait until it’s the two of us. i’ll show you what a real kiss is.” let’s just say that from that day on, there was no hesitation as to whether you two were just friends or dating (hint: it’s the latter).

ASAHI. no matter how much he liked you, asahi had a tendency to get very immersed into whatever he was doing at the moment and sort of forget about your presence in the room. in his own somewhat awkward words, he’d tried to reassure you that it was just because he felt extremely comfortable around you and didn’t feel the need to keep you entertained, that he was happy when you just chilled together, each of you simply doing their own thing. you were usually fine with it too, happy to just be with him, but this one day, you’d gone over to hang out at his dorm so you could spend actual time chatting and hanging out with him, not just scrolling through social media while he worked on his latest painting. you’d whined about it when he started painting but he told you he’d be done in ten minutes. ten minutes passed, then another ten, and another ten. you’d call out to him every now and then but he’d always repeat the same thing - “i’ll be done soon.” your complaints barely reached his ears, your whines earned a mere chuckle, so when you’d had enough, you’d gotten up and said, “fine, guess i’ll just go hang out with jaehyuk then,” sure that that would get his attention. but he just replied with an unbothered, “sure, he’s probably in the kitchen.” you scoffed at his nonchalance, and decided desperate times called for desperate measures, so you stomped over to where he was sitting and pressed an aggressive kiss on his cheek. this finally got his attention and when he looked at you with a stunned expression, you were scared you’d completely overstepped your boundaries - it wasn’t like you two were actually dating, even though every member and their mom were telling you to. but his face immediately softened as he took in your small frown and pout, realizing he’d been very negligent of you. “i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to upset you. let’s hang out now.” his words already warmed your heart, but when you saw he’d been drawing a picture of you from when you had gone to a park together, you thought you couldn’t get more in love with him. later on, he teased you about your method of getting his attention, but he definitely didn’t complain when you did it again, practically lending you his cheek (because he was too shy to give you his lips) for you to peck.

YEDAM. you realized that bang yedam liked to show off, just a little bit, when he invited you to watch practice at his company building for the fifth time. he liked impressing you with the new intense choreography they’d just learned or with his angelic vocals that never failed to make goosebumps appear on your skin. the members teased him about having ten times more energy when you were around, but your smile and claps as you watched him and the praises you gave him afterwards made it all worth it. he’d liked you since he met you at school - you still remember his trembling hands and his deep blush as he asked you if you wanted to come to his practice for the first time - but seeing you getting along with his members, learning the dance from mashiho, copying hyunsuk’s rap and laughing at asahi’s and jeongwoo’s antics, it all made him like you even more; you fit right in. he asked them what to do about these feelings, and they all advised him that next time he asked you out, it should be just the two of you. yoshi, in all his wisdom, told him that having you over at the company like he usually did was a good idea because it was familiar and comfortable, but that it could be at a time where he practiced individually. doyoung added that he should sing a love song as way of confessing, and everybody groaned at the cheesy idea, but yedam, for some reason, thought it was the greatest, most romantic thing ever and thanked his friend, thumb on his phone already pressing your contact, ready to call and ask you out. you said yes immediately, heart pounding at the idea of it finally being just you two after months of hanging out in groups, whether that was with your friends at school or with his members during practice. when you got there, you talked for a bit, the electric tension in the air making you both feel giddy. he warmed up before he got the song ready and told you to “listen to the lyrics carefully” with a very pointed look. you couldn’t contain your smile as you nodded, excited for whatever he had planned. lo and behold, you had the honor of not only being the first to hear the piano, demo, yedam solo version of the one and only darari, but also of being the inspiration behind the song. when it was over, yedam turned to you with a sheepish smile, asking “did you like it?” and being answered with a chaste kiss to his lips. his hands found your waist as if by instinct and, as he looked up at you with wide eyes and you looked down at him with a huge grin, you replied, “i loved it.”

DOYOUNG. nobody will ever convince me that doyoung doesn’t give the biggest university campus hearthrob vibes. i know this whole post was idol!treasure but just for him i’m gonna make an exception cause… yeah. doyoung is that guy in your really boring class that you only go to because he’s there, even though you never speak to him. all you’ve done is gaze longingly at him and look away abruptly when he catches you staring, so you’re sure he must think you’re crazy until one day when your professor announces a group project in pairs and doyoung swings around on his chair, looking right at you and smiling as if you were friends that already knew they’d partner up. you look around and behind you, trying to see if his smile is actually directed at someone else, but everyone’s already speaking to their partner. when your eyes find doyoung again, he’s already walking towards you, grabbing the empty chair beside you and plopping himself down on it. “wanna do this together?” his smile is blinding and all you can do is nod slowly and mumble out “s-sure.” and that’s how you become friends with doyoung, and how your infatuation with him turns into an ever-growing crush. working on a project together leads to meeting at the library for study dates, leads to taking coffee then lunch breaks, leads to texting random things during the day, leads to inviting each other to parties, leads to hanging out outside of school when the project is over, leads to you being head over heels for him. it doesn’t help that along with being ridiculously handsome, doyoung also happens to be a gentleman who knows your coffee order by heart, is easy to work with, makes you laugh, and flirts with you shamelessly. you’d like to say that after a few weeks, comments such as “you look pretty today, y/n” don’t affect you or that you don’t feel anything when he tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, but that would be the world’s biggest lie. the fated kiss happens at half past midnight on a tuesday during exam season. there was an essay you had completely forgotten about, and you only had twenty hours to do all the reading, come up with a topic, and write it out - the professor didn’t accept extensions, because they were evil. you had briefly told doyoung about this, but you just thought he’d send you a sweet text of support - not that he’d show up at the library, two cups of coffee in hand. “here, they’re both for you. motivation and comfort,” he grinned, placing them on the corner of your table. “oh my god, doyoung, i could kiss you right now,” you breathed, heading straight for your first cup. you almost spat out the coffee when he replied, “then do it.” you don’t know if it was the deliriousness of having been awake for such a long time, or if it was the adrenaline of having to finish an assignment on time, or the fact that he still managed to look good at midnight under the bright yellow fluorescent lights of the library, but you did it. you stood up and pressed your lips firmly against his for a few seconds before pulling away and returning to your essay. your cheeks were burning and you were too shy to look back at him, the realization of what you had just done hitting you. “y/n?” “yeah?” “is that it?” you can feel his gaze burning holes through your head, but still you can’t bring yourself to meet his eyes.”i don’t have time right now. sorry.” a beat passes and you pretend to read a paper, but none of the words on your screen passes. “then will you come to my dorm when you’re done?” another beat. “yeah. okay.” “okay.” he kisses the top of your head and whispers ‘good luck,’ and your cheeks manage to burn even more. you think you might combust right then and there, but at least you have an even better incentive than a good grade to finish this assignment. ok now who would read this if i turned it into a full fic…

HARUTO. the gods of love and fanfiction were on your side when they made you besties with haruto’s sister. he was back in japan for his break, and on his second day home, his sister asked if you could come over for dinner. you usually saw each other every day, if not at school then at each other’s houses or in town, but that hadn’t been possible the day before since it was her brother’s arrival, and she was already having withdrawal symptoms. their parents gladly agreed - you were like a second daughter to them at this point, much like your friend was to you parents. he hadn’t really thought twice about it at first; he remembered you as his sister’s shy friend that smiled a lot but didn’t talk very much. well, you still smiled a lot but were more talkative now; and either you had changed immensely in the year since he’d seen you last, or he just didn’t have that good of a memory, because when he saw you again, he himself grew shy because of how pretty he found you. his cheeks reddened when his parents coddled him or bragged about his achievements, his head hung low in embarrassment when usually he’d have welcomed the compliments with open arms. “gosh, you need to eat more, son! it’s like they don’t feed you over there,” his mom grumbled, scooping a huge portion of rice in his bowl. he wanted to dig a hole in the ground when you giggled at his mom’s antics. he grew more and more comfortable around you as time passed, considering you were over at their house at least three times a week, but he still found himself unable to get a full sentence out while looking you in the eyes. the way he was around you was so different from his usual personality that it was obvious to everyone that he had a crush on you. you found him extremely endearing, but knew there was no point trying to pursue what might be there, since he’d have to leave soon. it was only on his last night home that you gathered enough courage for the both of you. it was late in the night and you were sleeping over at your best friend’s house, but the coffee you had stupidly had at 6pm was keeping you awake. quietly, you walked out of your friend’s bedroom and into the kitchen to get a glass of water, but sound from the living room distracted you. you took a peak in and found haruto on the couch, watching an action anime. he almost had a heart attack when you called out his name, not expecting anyone to be up at this time. “what are you still doing up? shouldn’t you be getting some sleep before you leave?” you asked, sitting down next to him on the couch. if you couldn’t sleep, might as well stay here. “i can never sleep before i go back to korea. i love being there but i just… i hate waking up and knowing today’s the day i leave home.” it surprises him how easily the truth comes out, but it feels nice to put it out there - he doesn’t want to cause his parents sorrow by telling them how much he wants to stay even though he can’t. “you want to make it feel like your time here is longer or something? so you stay up…” you say, looking at the bright colors of the tv. “pretty much, yeah.” you ask him what anime he’s watching and scooch closer to him, letting a comfortable silence fall between you after he’s answered, the only sound in the room coming from the tv. after a couple of episodes, you feel sleep wash over you, and stretch your arms, letting a big yawn out. “going to bed?” haruto asks, pausing when the next episode starts to play, and you nod. “you know, ruto,” you start, and his heart skips a beat at the familiar nickname - it’s a lot nicer when you say it rather than his mom. “it’s normal to feel sad when you leave home. but it’ll still be here, waiting for you to come back.” you smile at him. “i’ll be here too.” you get up, but before you leave the room, you turn back towards you, and lean down to press a soft kiss to his nose, a feature of his you’d always secretly loved. you grin as you watch his face break into surprise, and wish him goodnight, chuckling. “g-goodnight, y/n.”

JEONGWOO. as soon as he’d stepped into the classroom on the first day back to school and saw you there, jeongwoo knew he’d have the fattest crush on you. your carefree laughter as you talked with your friends, the glint in your eyes, the sound of your voice. he liked everything about you immediately, and that feeling only grew as time passed, even though you’d never had a proper conversation. always the class clown despite his idol status, he never failed to bring attention to himself with his funny comments and reactions, yet somehow managed to stay likable and not become that obnoxious guy who doesn’t know yet to stop. but when he was with you, he grew quiet. if you were on the same group, he’d barely look at you, only talking to you when absolutely needed. naturally, you thought he hated you. but when he found out you lived in the same neighborhood as his dorm, he’d shyly asked his manager if he could walk home from school once in a while rather than be driven home, and then he’d shyly asked you if you guys could walk home together, taking you by surprise. rare were the days he actually got out of school at a normal time, but when he did, he always waited outside the classroom door for you, earning him a few whoops from his friends and hushed giggles from yours. the first few times, he stayed pretty quiet, and you almost wondered why he’d asked you in the first place. but soon enough, his more playful side, the one you’d see at school or on t-map episodes (although he didn’t need to know you watched those), started to come out, and he’d talk with you about anything between the earth and the sun. you found yourself agreeing on the same crazy things, making up insane conspiracy theories, going back and forth on a topic no sane human would talk about and each sentence you uttered only adding to the craziness, both of you egging the other on and nodding as if you had unearthed the planet’s wildest truths. when you got to your house, you were so high on the incredible things you and jeongwoo had discovered that you pressed a quick peck to his cheek, thanking him for walking you home. before either of you could realize what you’d just done, you’d already closed the door behind you, leaving a very stunned jeongwoo to stand at your door for a few seconds, two fingers on the spot your lips had blessed his cheek and a smile growing on his face. his hyungs never heard the end of it that evening.

JUNGHWAN. i have no idea what it is about the three youngest members that give me huge ‘shy-when-in-love’ vibes, but junghwan is no exception. it was your last year of high school and even though you were drowning in homework and college applications, your parents had made you get a part-time job to help with the eventual university fees. luckily for you, your mother had a friend whose hairdresser had a cousin that worked at YG entertainment, and could get you a job as a part-time barista in the building café. he just needed to make sure you weren’t completely unqualified and wouldn’t freak out whenever you saw an idol, and it was set. you can’t lie, the first few times a winner or ikon, or worse, blackpink, member walked in, you had to really concentrate to not spill the coffee everywhere out of nerves. but it didn’t take you long to realize they were just regular people craving caffeine like you, and the fact that your coworkers and the company staff were completely unfazed helped as well. treasure, as the newest and most active group of YG, came by a lot, and you were glad to notice they were always friendly and polite with you - your friend who was a huge teume would be enthralled by the information. however, even if they weren’t all talkative extroverts, there was one member who was particularly quiet: junghwan. you thought nothing of it until one day, walking in for the start of your shift, you saw him chatting with the other barista, but as soon as he saw you, he grew quieter, answering in hums and short sentences, glancing at you in what seemed a nervous fashion. since you were a new addition, you chalked it up to him being shy around strangers. but then, he started coming in in the evening, when the café was relatively empty, and sat at a table after ordering rather than just getting his drink and leaving. he got out his homework and would simply work on it for thirty or so minutes, most of the time alone, sometimes with one of the older members. you didn’t say anything, and after a month, he finally talked to you for something else that his coffee order. you placed his drink (always an iced choco) down on his table, and as you were about to walk away, he called out your name. “yeah?” you said, turning around quickly, perhaps too quickly. the fact that he came in at such quiet hours meant that you had much leisure time to do nothing other than stare at him, unbeknownst to him. you knew he was a handsome guy, but being able to observe him so closely made you notice so many of his cute habits, and before you knew it, you were developing a crush. “how do you like it here?” he asked, and that was it. he forgot his homework as you answered his question, which prompted more from him, which prompted more from you. after that, you got into the habit of talking every time he came in, venting about your problems, bonding over shared interests, laughing at cat memes together. more often than not, this resulted in him being late for practice or never getting around to his homework. since you were in the same year level and he didn’t have as much time to study as you did, you also helped him with subjects he struggled with. you’d spent a week going over a history lesson with him, which had started out with him hopeless but he grew more and more confident about the upcoming test, thanks to your help. he had been really nervous about it, so when he barged in the café, a huge grin on his face and graded paper showing a bright red ‘B+’ in hand, you were so proud that you couldn’t help but run to him and take his face in your hands, pressing a firm kiss to his cheek. his eyes grew wide and he looked down at you in disbelief, but before you could run away and hide from what you just did, his grin found its way back to his face and he took you in his arms for the warmest hug you’d ever received. “i couldn’t have done it without you, y/n.”

i feel like hyunsuk isn’t really the type to initiate that much skinship. from the videos i watched just looking at interactions, he’s not as clingy to the members as the other boys (but that doesn’t mean he loves them any less! his heart is so full of love for them, we all know that). but! he has the habit of slinging his arm around the members’ shoulders. he’s mostly like this with doyoung. i was just watching a bunch of videos where hyunsuk babies him and it finally clicked in my mind after i struggled to come up with something. you and hyunsuk could just be standing around, waiting for your take out or waiting in line at the grocery or convenience store, and his chest would just be pressed to one of your shoulder blades to let you know he was there for you in case you needed him. his arm may or may not be slung around your shoulders, but he will still dip his head towards your ear to say something to you over the surrounding noise. it’s not exactly whispering sweet nothings, it’s literally just normal conversation that could be said out loud. but there’s something about bringing himself towards your face that makes hyunsuk feel closer to you (metaphorically and literally) and he just likes it. he’ll talk to you with his heart eyes trained on your face or the side of it, and he especially likes the way you tilt your head back at him (eye contact or not) to respond. heart definitely skips at the times you’ll lean your head back against his and if you tilt it enough to lay it on his shoulder (he’ll have his hand on your waist if you do this PLEASE DO).

park jihoon just has this thing about him that no matter how annoying (affectionate) he can be to someone, you can’t help but absolutely love him. jihoon is just so teasing by nature and i think it’s cute that he’s some sort of a special type of tsundere. he’s the type to give you tough love all the time and will take the time to scold you when you’re talking bad about yourself because he loves you so much and doesn’t want to hear this stuff about you. he wants you to know how loved you deserve to feel and is ready to give you that love. he gives me a lot of best friend to lover vibes because you’ll be joking around with him, he’ll refuse to play along, but then he’ll laugh and just wrap you into his arms when a pout forms on your lips. jihoon thinks the way you react is just cute - that annoying little shit (again, affectionate). the type of guy who you would have a “i swear we’re just friends” phase with but then literally be laying your head on him whenever you’re together or literally linking arms with him all the time. he does this a lot to hyunsuk but he’ll just shake his shoulders like he’s doing aegyo so that they hit you while you’re doing something so that you get annoyed, and then ultimately just pulls you toward him to stuff his face in your neck and just hug you so tightly that you have no choice but to let it happen.

i just found the most heartwarming youtube short of the junkyu day vlive and got inspired, so junkyu’s might be pretty long compared to the other members. basically, hyunsuk had been late for his class so he like was rushing out and then everyone started pretending to rush out too but junkyu was literally grabbing onto every single other member in the room bc he didn’t want them to leave and it was so so so precious. i think he would definitely be like this to his s/o because as much as the members portray him as a homebody and someone who likes his alone time, i think he does like to be accompanied by someone in particular - you. there’ll be times where you’re just getting up and you’ll find his hand on your shoulder, wrist, waist - whatever - and he doesn’t let you go until you finally let him know that you’re just getting water or going to the bathroom. he just needs to know where you’ll be because somewhere deep down, just knowing where you are makes him feel like he’s not alone, even if you’re in a complete other room. in the times that you have to go home early or you can’t stay at the dorms for the night because you have work or class the next day, junkyu will be clinging onto you all the way to your car or your front door, slowing you down so you can spend extra time with him. he’ll have his arms wrapped around you so that your own are locked to your sides, and he’s just looking at you with hearts in his eyes. presses a kiss to your cheek before finally letting you go, but then calls you when you’re finally in separate locations to make sure you’re safe. please protect his soul PLEASE.

there’s that one tiktok of him and junkyu during the mysterious class reaction cam where junkyu’s grabbing his arm and leaning his head on mashi’s shoulder that i probably watched too many times before ending up screen recording it and sending it to every single of of my friends - THAT alone has wormed its way into my brain and i will not forget about that little smug face he had. it was so soft and cute and attractive that i was mashi brain for the next few days because i could not stop thinking about how he would literally have a smirk form on his face whenever his s/o would lean their head on him. it makes him feel wanted - needed - like his s/o could inform him if there was something, absolutely anything and everything that you needed. mashiho view it as his right as your boyfriend to provide to you, and he understands this as his s/o’s way of telling him that they trust him and glad he’s someone they can rely on. his heart will flutter from the moment you gently wrap your hands around his bicep before linking your arms to the moment you drop your head onto his shoulder and trail your fingers down to play with his own. once the initial smugness wears off, he’ll have the most content little precious smile on his face. he’s so happy with you that there’s no use in the members teasing him because he will outright agree with them - yes, he’s definitely in love you, and yes, he would gladly stay in this position for the next 72 hours.

we all know how much this sweet boy love his members and his kisses and his cuddles (this boy deserves all the love please). jae, of course, is big on kisses so no doubt would he be trying to plant one on you whenever he can because unlike the members, you gratefully and accept it and do it back. however, there’s something about the way that he’s always patting and fluffing the other members hair that has my heart go kaboom. maybe it’s because he does it with the softest smile on his face, or with his arm wrapped around the member but it. is. the. cutest. i feel like jaehyuk would do this to his s/o with absolute heart eyes. it doesn’t matter what you’re doing but jaehyuk always thinks you look cute. you could be preparing your lunch, doing the laundry, rushing out of the door because you’re late for class, eating a bowl of cereal very very sleepily, eyes half open, and jaehyuk will still be absolutely in love. he’ll just be sitting next to you, watching as your hand drags on the table to grasp his, while the other lazily scoops some cheerios into your mouth. jae only giggles as you slowly chew, using his free hand to gently ruffle your hair before allowing you to drop your head onto his shoulder.

i really struggled with finding an asahi skinship habit and ended up using a completely different love language because asahi isn’t the type to initiate skinship, but he definitely doesn’t reject it. he lets anyone hug him, coddle him, hold his hand, and he’s not opposed to it. he even said himself that he usually waits for other people to approach him. i think it might be that way in the first part of your relationship with him, but i definitely think that it’ll become more and more comfortable for asahi to just wrap his arms around you out of nowhere. granted, he’ll probably opt to interlace your fingers more often (the things i would give to hold his pretty hands). that being said, asahi seems to be the least clingy of all the members. but, i realized that he does tend to initiate skinship when there’s a reason to do it (like doing something for the members), like helping you up, holding your hair back when you’re eating, or brushing an eyelash away from your face. i think that type of skinship would not be rare in your relationship because there’s a purpose for it, and asahi feels the need to do it because he’s your boyfriend. i think also if you two are sitting together, or are just generally near each other and are focused on something else, you both move your hands and they land near each other. asahi would just unknowingly catch them as they brush by his skin and would pull your fingers through his or cradle your hand in his. i feel like his hands are just so delicate and beautiful that just that action will have your heart fluttering. i think one big thing he really likes is when you pull his hand into your lap to play with his fingers!

snuggling / hiding his face in your neck

wow okay when i tell you i’m in love with bang yedam, i mean i am in LOVE with bang yedam. he’s the sweetest, most talented boy (albeit frat-like ngl but we love him anyway). yedam is so clingy and for some reason that was a surprise to me when i first started stanning. he’s got so much love for his members and even though he acts super cool, at the end of the day, he just wants the others to know much he loves and cares for them. if anyone remembers the way he hugged dobby when he found out he was his manito, please cry with me. the way he held onto doyoung’s neck with a smile of realization and then threw himself into his younger friend’s arm and buried his cute face into his neck, please i was crying i want a yedam hug so bad. you know that thing where he just goes up behind a member and puts his hands on the members neck or shoulders before just stuffing his face into their neck? yeah THAT. yedam would do that so so so much with you because 1) he loves you 2) he thinks you smell good 3) he just wants to be close to you at all times every day and 4) he loves you. he will not fail to giggle at the way you squirm, but he can hear the smile in your voice when you tell him that he’s tickling you. yedam only proceeds to press tiny kisses onto your neck, finally letting go when you turn to meet his lips with your own, but that doesn’t mean he’ll keep his hands off you! definitely keeps his hands or arms around you.

although this kid is the king of flirting and cheesy pickup lines, i do believe that he isn’t the biggest on physical touch. not that he hates it of course - him pulling mashi onto the couch to cuddle with him, or his clinginess to junghwan is something that is really heart fluttering. but i think that he does seem to prioritize words of affirmation and acts of service most! he’s always telling the members, especially jeongwoo, how handsome they are (bless his heart, i hope jeongwoo can become more confident about himself bc he’s absolutely beautiful) and making sure the other members are fed before he eats too. but i’ve seen doyoung initiate smaller acts of physical touch with the members (ignoring the way doyoung’s always touching junghwan’s chest lol). i don’t think doyoung has a particular habit regarding physical touch - normally his skinship is ultimately still an act of service like asahi (like when he held jeongwoo’s hand to stop him from biting his fingernails). however, i think that this angel would without a doubt rub your back in a ways of comforting you or just if you’re sitting next to him and the both of you are focused on something else. maybe you’re watching tv or the other members play games, but his hand would just unconsciously move to your back or shoulder to draw little shapes or just rub up and down - like he did to junkyu in that one dad is sleeping video. it’s become so natural between the two of you that sometimes neither of you notice it happening until another members asks if you're feeling okay or if your back hurts or anything. a lot of times you both freeze, doyoung not even realizing what he was doing, and you both give cute little laughs (dobby’s bunny smile PLEASE TT). the members might tease the two of you a little, but they all secretly think the two of you are cute.

渡辺温斗、WATANABE HARUTO !

his hands always seem to return to your waist

through the past few weeks i’ve come to love treasure, i’ve learned that haruto has a tendency to place his hands on the members waist. when junkyu had accidentally hit him with the jump rope and ran to him for a hug, haruto’s arms hugged junkyu around the waist. when jeongwoo felt bad that he had burned the meat during that one cute treasure map episode, haruto comforted and reassured woo by patting / rubbing his waist. then, very recently, during the be with me couple ending fairy at the trace concert, haruto grabbed dobby by the waist after the lights went out when they were laughing at each other, and i thought that was the cutest thing. there’s no doubt in my mind that he would do that to his s/o. its unintentional, but his hands and arms just seem to return to your waist. he’ll brush past you by moving you to the side with his hands on your waist, and he’ll be the type to give you a lot of back hugs when he thinks no one’s looking. he’s a bit of a shy boy, so he only initiates back hugs when you’re preoccupied with something (exhibit a: that one hello 82 video? i think when he was hugging yedam ; exhibit b: when junkyu got exposed that haruto was his ideal type and haruto wouldn’t let go of him for the rest of the live). maybe the waist thing is because he’s so tall, but either way, haruto will have ways to unknowingly fluster you all the time.

박정우 、PARK JEONGWOO !

twirling your hair and wiping the skin around your face for any crumbs

please, park jeongwoo has no reason to be so soft and cute around the members. i was having trouble picking just one type of skinship for him because he does the most heart fluttering actions towards the members. the way he just twirls his and the members’ hair out of habit is the cutest thing to me because he’s just a ball of wholesome energy and he just contains it by doing this omg he’s so cute. you and jeongwoo probably had been friends long before you ended up together, but it isn’t until you’re dating that you realize how often he plays with your hair when you’re just sitting together. jeongwoo never fails to gently grab your chin if you ever get remotely close to him (asahi once got close to him to read comments during a vlive and jeongwoo….just gently held his face - please) or tilt your face to face his own before using the tips of his fingers to gently brush away the remaining crumbs of the snack you just shared. the kid just has the softest look on his face when he does it (have i mentioned how pretty his eyelashes are?) and you never fail to blush when you watch him do it. his eyes are completely focused at the task at hand, then suddenly they meet yours, and jeongwoo just gives you the sweetest, close-lipped smile while giving your cheek one last brush with his thumb.

소정환 、SO JUNGHWAN !

bear hugs with his face pressed on top of your head

so junghwan, my precious boy. if you think that his hugs would not be warm or cuddly or soft, you are absolutely wrong (let’s ignore the fact that this kid looks older than me and has been hitting the gym - he’s still a baby in my eyes). but the way that he comforted and hugged hyunsuk during trace has been ingrained in my mind. with his arms wrapped around you tightly, head leaning on yours so that your face is literally squished against his neck / chest, you will feel absolutely comforted and protected like no one can hurt you. junghwan seems like he would be such a safe space. his hyungs have said many times before that despite his young age, he is a very mature and reliable boy, so i think that will translate a lot to how he is in a relationship! you are never afraid to go to him with your concerns, worries, or when you’re just tired and need a break because this sweetheart will always be down to listen to you, comfort you, and make you feel better. i think that through the years, i’ve come to know maknaes of kpop groups to be the ones that don’t want to be babied, but i feel like junghwan openly accepts all the love and care that the older members give to him, and there is no doubt in my mind that all the love he receives will be projected out to every single person he loves as well.

yoshinori is way too much of a pure soul to ever feel jealous on his own

if anything, he’s thrilled that you have so many close friends, cus it means more people that care about you and take care of you :)

he loves seeing you interact with his members too, really

it makes him all giddy cus it’s his friends and his partner… playing twister and laughing…. and he loves you all so much……..

the (few) times yoshi has ever felt jealous, it was bc of what other people said

the first time it happened, you were waiting for them to perform at an award show, and they were about to go up

yoshi was getting the final touches on his hair while you walked around to chat with the boys

doyoung seemed especially hyped that day, so you stopped to catch up before your boyfriend was done

he admired you from afar when dobby said something funny

you slapped his shoulder, snorted, whatever

and yoshi didn’t think anything of it until jihoon showed up, lightly punching his arm

‘wow, you really don’t mind them?’, he whispered, stealing a look at you

‘what you mean?’, yoshi furrowed his brows

‘it’d be losing it if that was my partner, that’s all’, jihoon shrugged

now, jihoon REALLY didn’t mean to make yoshinori have a mini breakdown, he commented on it without thinking much (we know he can be pretty blunt)

but that one comment sent yoshi spiraling in doubt

should he not be okay with that interaction? did one of you mean something he wasn’t seeing? was there something more to it?

poor yoshi was completely out of it the whole time they were on stage

he could remember the choreo and lyrics, but his expressions were off and he felt icky and suddenly these clothes seemed so heavy and—

he could barely even look at you once they were done

my boy managed to convince himself you didn’t love him anymore on the like 15 minutes you were apart <cries>

jealous!yoshi gives you the cold shoulder without meaning to

he just felt overwhelmed with all these new thoughts and concerns and needed to get away for a bit :(

how to fix the situation: i know it’s counterintuitive but first, leave him alone. his mind is gonna keep twisting the situation into something it isn’t, but he’d be too emotional if you tried to talk to him right away

once it’s been a few hours—even a whole day—you should approach him and start from the start

upset or not, yoshi’s never been one to hide his feelings from you, so he’d be honest about it and tell you the whole story

it wasn’t hard to spot the problem so you’d have to talk to him about validating his own emotions before listening to someone else

it was quite a serious topic but once he got your point, things went back to normal pretty quickly

long story short, yoshi and jealousy aren’t a good mix, so you should be happy he’s the chill type

Junkyu

i wouldn’t say junkyu is necessarily a jealous person

he pretty much lives in his own world most of the time so i really don’t think he’s paying close attention to what your interactions with his members look like

but i do think he’s prone to feeling left out

so, teume all know junkyu was able to overcome numerous confidence issues through inner work and training right

and GOOD!! FOR!! HIM!!!

but especially if you don’t have a lot of common interests, junkyu can feel a bit… inadequate for you, at times

for example, say you’re a very outdoorsy person who likes exercising, camping, the works

just last week you found a new hiking trail that’s said to lead to a super nice view so you wanna go there

if you asked any of the boys to come along, jihoon would be the first to volunteer

…and junkyu, the last

it’s just not his thing; he’s a homebody, he doesn’t like being outside that much, he’d rather nap but if you wanna go :( and he feels like he HAS to go too

he needs to make this effort and try to put up a front that’s like ‘i can keep up with you at all times!! i’ll do whatever you wanna do!’

otherwise, if he just told you it didn’t sound like his thing, you’d eventually realize you and him don’t have anything in common

and he thinks you’d replace him with someone else

someone who’s more like you :/

of course that doesn’t happen! you’re not a monster

but it’s always his first thought in situations like that, and after some time, he might start to feel jealous over his members

jealous!junkyu is quieter than usual and a bit crabby when you try to interact

how to fix the situation: dedicate some time to do things junkyu likes, when it’s just the two of you

i’m not saying you shouldn’t do things you’re interested in, but let him know you’re fine with doing things he enjoys as well!!

say you’re ordering fried chicken so you can stay in and watch a nature documentary, and you’ll see his eyes GLOW

baby might need a bit of time and patience to understand that relationships are not usually about sharing hobbies and tastes

i’m honestly still a bit on the fence about where mashi stands on jealousy…

bc we know he’s a veeeeery sweet guy, and mostly laidback too

it’s the members taking care of you

his brain knows these can all be completly platonic acts and they’re normal, since you’re all friends

now, he is also the most introverted person in the group

(not hard to see)

so…. it’s easy to assume these 2 facts don’t go very well together

i still need to learn how to use this app and write on here properly lol. anyways i was listening to sad love songs and i might have projected on here a bit… awkward

“i can’t love you in dark.” i spoke to junghwan. for once, he heard me.

“what are you talking about?” he made a confused face. a tear slipped from my left eye.

it took a long time to realize it was never going to be me. junghwan was always mine but i was never his. we were always going to be defeated.

“i still remember the day you told me about her.”

“dalia?” he looked down.

daila, his future girlfriend, wife, lover, everything. it’ll be okay, i’ll love you forever. but, who knows how long forever is?

“i don’t understand why i’m so scared about this. i always practiced how i was going to say but then dalia came in and suddenly i wasn’t even a thought. i didn’t mean to intrude about any of this. but i needed to say all of this because i would never and now that im saying this it feels like i’m losing you and myself on the way there.”

“i- ”

i cut him off, “don’t say anything. don’t ruin this for me because you feel bad because but i don’t. i feel relieved because i can finally let you go.”

“who said anything about letting you go?!” he blurted

“i can’t keep loving my best friend.” my voice cracked as i tried to look him in the eyes.

“no. we can still be friends!” he tried defending our friendship.

“it’s been a while since i last thought we were friends.” i confessed. i gave him his stupid friendship bracelet that made me cry when i got home because he was mine for a moment. i gave him his stupid sweater that gave me warmth on the loneliest and coldest nights. i gave him my all because it was all mine.

“i wish you had said something before. i.. i had something to tell you too. i always hoped that you stared longer, smiled longer, felt longer around me. i always wished it was you.” he smiled through his tears.

“i don’t think i’ll find someone like you. nobody compares to you. as a person or a lover. but i think i would prefer you as mine.” he started as he looked into my eyes.

i felt like i could finally breathe. it was enchanting and amazing and beautifully heartbreaking. suddenly, it felt like 10 years ago when i met him on that gloomy day. raining and depressing. and he was the sunshine that lit my life.

“you felt the same?” i sobbed out. i put my hand over my hand, i felt sick. he held me as i cried into his arms.

“don’t do this. please. i can’t lose you. i don’t want to lose my person.” junghwan voice cracked, “i’ll always look out for you and be there for you. you don’t have to give me these things back. i just want you back.”

i pulled away and looked around. this is their shared apartment with their shared photos and shared coffee and shared warmth. what am i doing? i can’t do this to another girl.

“what are we doing?” i questioned. i felt terrible and immediately started backing away. i shouldn’t even be here. i really shouldn’t.

“i don’t even understand why i am here. i don’t know why. i don’t deserve to come here and say these stupid feelings that i had and say them too late.”

“but you did and i thank you for it. i realized maybe we were right for each other. but maybe isn’t enough.” he added on.

“you know you were like stars in the dark for me. you always shined when nobody was there and only people who were out at the right time saw you. i tried to find other stars but you always shined the brightest.” he said. “i don’t think i could ever search for my star when she’s right here looking at me.”

you don’t need a star when you have the whole galaxy coming home soon. you don’t need me. i shouldn’t need you but i can’t stop loving the moon.

i smiled for the last time before saying, “junghwan, thank you for all the moments you made me laugh, smile, cry, love and made me feel so special. i thank you for letting me speak, but i hate you for letting me love you. and i hate you for loving you. and i hate you because you loved me.”

“i don’t think i’ll ever find someone like you and i hope i don’t because i’ll fall in love once again.”

i looked at him one more time, taking him in all my glory and for the first time in forever i wished i could kiss him goodbye.

“i’ll see you soon. i know i will.” junghwan held my hand as he uttered words.

i turned around, taking step by step. day by day, i’ll get over this childish love and stupid boy. but he won’t be a stupid boy. he’ll just be a boy.

the doorknob started twisting and turning and stomach did as well. the door opened and dalia was there, beautiful as always. her smile turned into a frown. “what happened? why are you crying?” her kindness will always live on in junghwan, i just hope he doesn’t forget about me.

“i think i lost something dear to me,” i turned around and looked at junghwan and back to dalia,”i hope you take care of it.”

dalia gave me her doe eyes, she has no clue what happened. “if i’ll find it, i’ll send it to you!” i just laughed and smiled. “i really hope you do.” i gave junghwan one last smile. and i finally mouthed,

“goodbye.”

Mashiho: falling asleep while he makes dinner

You and Mashiho were having a day in, and after having a busy day of watching movies and cuddling the relaxing mood has gotten to you.

While Mashiho was in the kitchen making dinner for the two of you. You were dozing off on the couch. While mashiho was in the kitchen cooking, you were alone and all the energy you did have was taken with Mashiho.

You tried to focus on the animation that was playing, But if you were being honest you couldn't even remember the name of the movie. What you were focused on was trying to stay awake, But you had quickly lost that battle and you were off to dreamland.

Mashiho hums to himself as he puts the food in yours and his bowls. He glanced back at the sink of dishes and decided that he would just do them later.

“ Y/n do you want juice or just water?” He asks loudly but after a few moments of you not answering, he figured you couldn't hear him over the tv. Mashiho decided to just ask you when he got to the living room. He grabbed you and his utensils and the two bowls before walking into the living room.

Mashiho didn't notice that you were sleeping at first, He was too focused on setting the bowls on the coffee table without spilling it. “ It's really hot so don't forget to blow on it,” Mashiho smiled as he set the bowls down.

He goes to ask you what you would like to drink but stops himself when he sees you sleeping peacefully, cuddled up in the blanket that you had got him a few years back.

He stood there for a few moments wondering what he should do. Wake you up so you could eat or let you sleep…he decided on the later.

He quickly and quietly put the food away- he would eat with you when you woke up. He goes back into the living room to turn off the tv so it wouldn't disturb your sleep. I guess I can get started on the dishes. He thinks as he turns around but he stops abruptly when he hits his leg against the coffee table letting out a loud curse.

“ Mashi?” You mumble out tiredly, confused at the loud noise that woke you up. Mahiho holds in his wince and walks closer to you whispering to you to go back to sleep.

“ Join me?” You asked sluggishly, moving over to make room for him. Mashiho laughs and lays next to you not being able to resist you.

You hum tiredly and lay your head on his chest before drifting off to sleep, Mashiho smiles and kisses your forehead before closing his eyes and before he knew it he was sleeping as well.

Jaehyuk: falling asleep while he finds a restaurant

Jaehyuk had the whole day planned out. The two of you would go to some of your favorite shops, Get ice cream, Have a picnic at the park and then end the day with dinner at one of your favorite restaurants.

But sadly a schedule popped up for him and he had to work for most of the day. Jaehyuk felt terrible for having to cancel your day plans. But you understood and even though you were a little disappointed you still were looking forward to your guys dinner date.

Well your happiness for your guys dinner quickly faded when you got the alert for a rainstorm. With you being inside all day you didn't notice the bad weather, and jaehyuk didnt bring it up when he got back from practice.

You stopped getting ready for your date and just stayed in your comfy clothes, Laying in bed as you waited for Jaehyuk to get out of the shower. So you can tell him the unfortunate news. You weren't happy about not being able to go out but you weren't that upset. You were actually looking forward to having a night in with your boyfriend. You were exhausted from the long day before.

“ You're not dressed?” Jaehyuk asked, confused as he walked out of the bathroom, buttoning his top. Y/n looks away from her phone and to her boyfriend giving him a sad smile,Telling him the news.

Jaehyuk being disappointed was an understatement. “ Did You check if” Jaehyuk starts as he sits down on the bed but you cut him off. “ If the restaurant was still open? Yes i did and no its closed”

Jaehyuk groans in disappointment before pulling out his phone, searching up other restaurants near them. He wasn't going to have there night be ruined by some rain. “ Thats fine ill just find another restaurant” He says with a determined smile. You can't help but smile and move to hug your boyfriend from behind, resting your chin on his shoulder.

“ Jae, It's a rainstorm let's just stay in”

“I promised you a date and it's already bad that i had to cancel earlier so let me just find a place” Jaehyunk frowns as he looks through his phone. He was determined to have a romantic night with you. You sat there in silence closing your eyes. But after a loud sigh from jaehyuk you knew he was unsuccessful in finding a restaurant.

“ I'm sorry y/n” Jaehyuk frowns, leaning back against your chest. You just laugh and shake your head “ Don't be sorry, We can make dinner ourselves”

“ Now go change into something comfy” you smile, kissing his cheek. Jaehyuk smiles softly and gets up, moving to the closet to find something else to wear before going into the bathroom to change.

You can't help but yawn as you lay back against the pillows. While waiting for jaehyuk you closed your eyes and listened to the rain. It was peaceful and you felt like you could fall asleep any minute.

“ Okay I'll look up some recipes to make, '' Jaehyuk says as he walks out of the bathroom dressed in sweatpants and a shirt. You just hum in acknowledgement, too tired to say anything. Jaehyuk doesn't seem to mind your answer as he sits on the end of the bed scrolling through youtube for something to cook.

After a few minutes of silence, Jaehyuk finally found an easy to make recipe and he was sure that you had all the ingredients. Jaehyuk turns to ask if you would like that only to see you passed out hugging a pillow.

Jaehyuk smiles and gets up to pull the blankets up to your shoulder, leaning down to kiss your cheek gently. In his mind this was perfect, you were resting and now he had a chance to surprise you by making a great dinner. Like he thought earlier he was determined for you to have a great night. Hopefully you didn't sleep through it all….

Asahi: falling asleep while he makes music

It was a normal thing to do. Asahi was used to it by now. He would be at his desk working on music and you would be in his bed usually sleeping. Plus Asahi had this habit of working at night, So it was hard to not sleep and the atmosphere was so inviting to fall asleep in.

But tonight was different. Ashi had promised you that he only had to fix a few finishing touches on one of his new tracks and then the two of you could watch a movie. You were tired from a long day of classes and all you wanted to do was take a nap, but seeing how excited ashi was to watch a movie with you. So you tried to stay up and wait for your boyfriend.

Hoping that it would help you stay up you go on your phone, scrolling through random things to pass the time. But after you dropped your phone on your nose for the second time you decided it would be safer to stay off your phone.

So you opted on just laying there in silence, holding onto asahis plushie. Not the smartest idea because after a few minutes of silence you fell asleep.

Asahi didn't notice you were sleeping until he had finished his track. He normally always turns around to check on you. But he wanted to finish fast so he got distracted and didn't check on you sooner.

So when Asahi was finally done with the finishing touches he takes off his headset and turns away from his bright screen and looks at you….his sleeping girlfriend.

He wasn't shocked to see you sleeping, your face smushed up against his plushie. He can't help but smile when he sees you sleeping.

Asahi sat there thinking for a few minutes. Should dhe go back to his computer and work on a few more songs or join you in bed. He decides on the latter knowing that you would be upset if he didnt rest.

He quietly turns off his computer and his extra led lights, only leaving the soft orange one on before joining you in bed. He carefully pulled back the blanket and slid in behind you. You had a habit of facing the wall and Asahi liked being the big spoon…so iit worked out perfectly for the two of you.

Asahi sighed tiredly,wrapping his arms around you. Your body immediately reacts, leaning back against his chest. Asahi smiled and pulled you closer to him. “ Goodnight y/n”

Yedam: falling asleep while he sings and plays guitar

You always loved listening to yedam sing. His voice gave you goosebumps and never failed to make you happy. And adding a guitar to the mix was pure heaven.

It was late and you were currently wrapped up in a blanket on yedam’s bed, listing to yedam practice a new song. The both of you were tired but yedam was determined to finish the song before he joined you in bed.

You wish you were as determined to stay up like Yedam. But you could barely keep your eyes open…and you really did want to stay up so you could listen to your boyfriend. But it seems that sleep has a bigger grip on you than you wanted.

“ That didn't sound right” yedam mumbled to himself as he retries the cord again. You hum in agreement, Too tired to say anything but you wanted to let him know that you were still awake, well barely.

Yedam smiles and turns to look at you from his position at the end of the bed. “Y/n/n i know your tired, you can go to sleep”

“ Huh?” You mumble turning your head to look at him, giving him a tired smile. “ What do you mean? I'm wide awake”

Yedam shakes his head with a laugh before focusing on his guitar. There was no need to say anything else. From the cute pout on your face and your tired eyes, he knew you would be asleep any minute now.

After he hears your tired sigh he smiles and starts playing a different song, to one of your favorites. Quietly singing the lyrics he looked back at you eyes filled with fondness as he watched you sleep.

He sat there and sang to you, Only stopping when he knew you were truly asleep. “ Goodnight Y/n”

Teume Cafe Part 2: I think I like you a latte

That night, you decide it’s time to stay up, stay awake, and grind it out for finals. The mocha you had was still keeping you awake (was it the mocha or was it Mashiho and the Teume cafe?) so you took that as a sign to get to work.

You have everything laid out. Your book, your notes, your pens, your laptop. You even have a random episode of Racket Boys playing--hearing the soundtrack and the characters’ voices is somehow your white noise for studying.

So you’re ready! You’re all set!! So… why isn’t it working? You stare at the words on your notes and your vision blurs, your mouth hangs open and your mind goes right back to the Teume cafe. Mashiho and his gorgeous hair...no! You have to study. But, you’re so curious. You want to meet Haruto to judge for yourself if he deserves the Cafe Prince award. And who was Yedam, hiding in the shadows?

This wasn’t going to work.

You get up, pack your things and head to the Teume Cafe. Heck, if you were going to spend your precious study time thinking about the café, then might as well just head there. You check their hours online first, and seeing they’re open late, you sigh in relief before continuing on your journey.

When you get there, you’re suddenly nervous. You can see inside--someone else is at the counter instead of Mashiho, but his silhouette looks familiar. Yedam?

Your curiosity overtakes your nervousness and you storm inside.

“Welcome to Teume Cafe--oh! Weren’t you here earlier today?” Yedam asks.

Gosh, the way he grins at you, the way his soft locks are falling into his eyes has you feeling dizzy. Why is every worker here so damn pretty?

“I was… and you must be Yedam,” you say, somewhat shyly.

Yedam’s cheeks are dusted pink as he replies, “either you saw me this morning, too, or you’re just reading my name tag.”

“Name tag? Oh, I didn’t even see it!”

Yedam laughs, leaning against the counter.

“So, what can I get for you? Another mocha?”

Your heart races. He remembered your order?! Even while he was sat in the corner when you came in?

“A-actually.. I think I’m down to try something else,” you say, “something that pairs well with the strawberry creme scone.”

“I’d suggest a nutella latte! It’ll be like having nutella and strawberries,” Yedam explains.

You nod, “I’ll try it!”

Yedam punches in the order and fetches the scone for you, neatly placing it on a plate.

“Just be careful with how much coffee you have in a day,” he says sweetly, pushing the scone towards you.

“Are you seriously concerned about me right now?” you ask in disbelief.

Yedam shrugs.

“As much as you want to come see us, one cup of coffee a day should be the max. If you come more than once, get a tea or smoothie the second time!”

“You’re the one who suggested the nutella latte,” you say, playfully squinting at the boy who hasn’t stopped smiling at you.

“You’re the one who asked for suggestions to pair with the scone… and you didn’t have to get a latte!” Yedam points out, tilting his head to one side.

You shake your head at the boy and go take a seat, pulling out your notes.

“If you’re here to study, I’ll be your DJ for the night!” Yedam calls from behind the counter as he makes your drink.

Suddenly, the music changes to something calmer, something easy to study to. You’re so focused on your notes that you don’t hear Yedam calling out to you with your order. He brings it to you and you stare at the latte art--is it a heart or are you hallucinating?

“Good luck!” he tells you with a smile.

As you study, Yedam cleans up and shuts off the machines, but not once does he tell you to leave because they’re closing. Even when an hour has passed since they’re closing time, he sits there, headphones on and stealing glances at you every now and then. He only approaches you to wake you up once you’ve fallen asleep, telling you to go home.

He only closes the Teume cafe after he sees you’ve safely left.

They both don't know how to draw the line but they indeed cross it all the time. Friends to exes to friends with benefits isn't exactly what they thought they'll ever be, but here they are looking at the blurry lines. The question is why? Why fuck your ex? "Ah... fuck me," Junkyu moaned into the pillow, trying to keep quiet, his hands searching for something to hold on to other than the gray bedsheet.

"I am fucking you already honey," Jihoon smugly said, concentrating on hitting the spot that got Junkyu's melting, hands imprinting on Junkyu's waist. Junkyu made the mistake to look back at the man, beads of sweat adoring his scrunched-up face, eyes closed, biting his lips to stop himself from moaning out Junkyu's name. If Jihoon is not fucking him right now, he'll surely send death stares to the man for calling him honey. But right now, Jihoon looks sexier than ever.

Fuck him, Junkyu thought. No, fuck me for still fucking my ex, he corrected himself.

Jihoon noticed Junkyu becoming quiet. He stopped his movements and pulled out.

"What the fuck? I am close," Junkyu whined. Jihoon just chuckles and helped Junkyu switch positions. He can now see Junkyu's entirety from his annoyed face, to his lean body. He takes his time to caress Junkyu's body, worshipping it almost. He'll surely love studying Anatomy if he can use Junkyu's body as a reference.

"Jihoon..." Junkyu warned him and he knows what his name implies.

"What?" he finally looked at the eyes of his ex-lover with a grin, before leaning into the man. Softly touching his scrunched eyebrows, straightening them, "You'll get wrinkles early." Jihoon's hot breath sent shivers to the man trapped between his arms.

Junkyu watched Jihoon's eyes go back and forth from his eyes to his lips. "No kissing," he reminded. Jihoon smirked upon hearing the rule Junkyu demanded when they both started this arrangement. "No problem. More time for fucking." He then retrieved himself, putting Junkyu's long legs on his thighs before positioning himself.

He inserted himself again, slowly, in and out. He loves this pace, this excruciating, slow pace. He loves feeling everything Junkyu has to offer. He loves hearing Junkyu's little whines. He loves it when Junkyu begins to beg to make it faster and harder. After lust, here comes the feeling of familiarity, Jihoon thought. Junkyu's so familiar with his hands that he fills the spaces between them even with his eyes closed. This moment when Junkyu still bathes in the aftermath of his orgasm, eyes closed, legs trembling, regaining his normal heart rate was the only time Jihoon can shamelessly stare at his ex-lover. This, right here, is what makes him undone. His thrust slowed down with Junkyu clenching around him more. He once again bit his lower lip, feeling his own orgasm.

Junkyu let go of his hands exactly 10 seconds after his release. He pulled out himself, plopping beside Junkyu who is now standing up from the bed and walking to the bathroom to clean himself.

Jihoon looked at the wall clock he got exactly just for the purpose of counting how many minutes would it take for Junkyu to finish dressing up before he'll leave again.

4 minutes... of silence, of the clock ticking, of the clothes being worn, of his heart coming back to its normal rhythm.

4 minutes... is all Jihoon has to ask the man to stay.

Stay. 4 letters. If Jihoon says it now, it will not even take 4 seconds so why does it take 4 months for him to finally utter those 4 letters?

"Stay."

Junkyu, midway through zipping his pants, looked back at his ex, "Tell me I heard it wrong," in disbelief that Jihoon is asking him to stay.

"Stay Junkyu," Jihoon repeated, more certain of what he meant.

Junkyu shook his head, picking up his shirt from the floor, a little laugh escaping him. "Why would I do that?" he questioned the man that is now sitting on the bed.

"Because I did great."

"So? I let you use me," Junkyu said stepping towards Jihoon.

"As if you don't use me," Jihoon scoffed, rolling his eyes at his ex. Junkyu stopped walking towards him.

"Oh please, Jihoon. You are the one who is asking me a favor now. Don't be such a brat."

Jihoon sighs, defeated, "I deserve cuddles!" Junkyu started walking again towards the bed.

"Cuddles are for lovers," Junkyu argued, lifting his eyebrow with a little smirk.

"So? We did it before when we were still just friends."

"Jihoon..." Junkyu sighs, stopping at the end of the bed.

It's his name. It's just his name. But why does it has different meanings when Junkyu calls out his name?

Picking up the comforter, Junkyu throws it at Jihoon's naked body, covering him up. Why? He also asks himself the same question. Is Junkyu concerned with him? Is he distracting Junkyu with his body? Will he win this time if he argues with Junkyu butt-naked? Or Junkyu noticed his little shivers?

Mixed signals. Junkyu is so hard to read. His words and actions contradict each other, leaving him standing in front of the blurry lines. But he's willing to do anything to make him stay.

He immediately hold Junkyu's hand before the man turned away from him.

"Please stay," Jihoon whispered, looking him in the eyes.

Stay. 4 letters. A simple command. It simply means to wait. To be patient. But why does he find it hard to understand its meaning? Ah, Junkyu thought to himself, remembering the last time he heard it. The word simply lost its meaning when Jihoon asked him to stay friends with him after they broke up. Because why does he stay friends with his ex? Then stay become a different word when they agreed to be friends with benefits cause deep down he knows stay would not simply mean to wait or to be patient, it's not a command anymore. So he kept drawing these lines that Jihoon loves to erase with his actions. Then he is left with one question, why?

Why?, Junkyu wanted to asked Jihoon. But he can't and he will not.

Jihoon's so familiar with his heart that he knows how to capture it with no problem at all. He breathed deeply, feeling the warmth that is different from what he felt earlier. His heart beat faster this time, knowing it was for a different reason.

Fuck, Junkyu thought, as he once again, with no problem at all, fills the space in Jihoon's bed. Willing to occupy it even in the meantime.

Sooner or later, he knew he needed to learn not to give in, not to occupy the same space, not to cross the line he always drew, and most especially not to stay.
