Thoughts on Minato's actions??? Is he pulling a Gou Shijima? I mean people have equated Spanner as being Chase-like.

Well, he's playing both sides for some reason. Whatever "nightmare" he anticipates, he feels it's enough of a threat that he has to somehow push the Riders into improving by leaps and bounds, even if it meant he had to sacrifice his own morality in the process (by joining Geryon and enabling his work).

From some stuff I read, it seems like he now feels the Chemmies are far too dangerous left to their own devices, though I still can't tell if he merely wishes to contain them or eliminate them or something else. I do think it's fishy that he seems to be actively sabotaging Geryon in ways that are helpful to the Riders, if his intent is to seal them away or destroy the Chemmies.

And honestly, I'm not sure where the comparison between Spanner and Chase came from. Spanner had always been on the heroic side and didn't really oppose Houtaro, except to be a jerk about him being an amateur and be surly about him being the Rider. Chase, of course, had that whole storyline about him going from Proto-Drive (good) to Mashin Chaser (bad) to Kamen Rider Chaser (good again).

The only real comparison is them having a Rider-esque form and then getting a "real" Rider form later on. And being purple, I guess.

Gotchard is lighter and softer.

That submarine monster is a rapist.

I seriously did not understand Japanese’ standard for children show.

Aside from Ichinose’s hyperactivity, this episode was not bad.

When was the last time a Main Rider used Rider Kick three episodes in a row? They usually just did it on the first episode and then kept it for special occasions.

When was the last time a Main Rider could cook and do it on screen?

I hoped there was scene where Ichinose fed his fellow alchemists his cooking.

I hoped Tsuruhara could become a Rider in the future. I wanted a Rider with his personality.

Spanner reminded me of Mashin Chaser.

For some reason, he gave me a feeling that he was out of place.

Maybe because his armour looked like something made in a garage from parts picked up from a junkyard.

Gotchard on the other hand, looked like a shiny, sleek car.

On one hand it would be awesome if Rei Yoshii really transformed into Papillon Ohger even once

On the other hand it would be fucking sad if Rei henshined into a purple hero before Taiko reprised Chaser (not Mashin Chaser, there's a difference!) which he hasn't done since the crossover with Ghost
