This is me rambling about a Lu wild idea I have so if you wanna see it then look under the cut

Hear me out/Lu Wild items/abilities idea… Lu Wild but he has Rarau’s arm still, and the shiekah slate runes (including the mastercycle) + the champion/sages abilities but he has to choose between either the sages or the champion abilities when he uses them and he can only choose the sages or champions every 48 hours, which if he needs extra help in a battle and he chose the champions the day before then he’s stuck with those until 48 hours have passed, and the champion abilities will be nerfed a lot (as in like he gets a extra use of Miphas grace which he can fully heal himself any time he uses one, but if he dies it doesn’t revive him) (and he’ll be given a extra two uses for the other champions) (Ravali’s Gale will take him half as high. Urbosa’s Fury will only reach half its perimeter. And Daruk’s protection will not be as strong/they can’t take the force of a guardian laser but can still deflect a Moblin force, and if it’s a Lynel it’ll take two of the Daruk’s Protection)

Just finished LOZ:TotK, thoughts on the final climax below the readmore.

Overall positive thoughts, On the fifth sage, i didnt like her that much. She felt out-of-nowhere, and the flashbacksplenation of her powers as “allowing her to pull her soul from her body” felt sort of dumb when, literally all the sages pull their soul out of their bodies to assist link in battle already. It also felt disapointing that Paya’s explanation for how its not her amounts to “i need to be here to govern my village” when, Riju has the same problem and solves it with SpiritAstralProjection. I also think she gets in the way with Lynelfights, (im trying to mount the Lynel i just arrow-stunned not pilot the Mech), and i dislike the mech replacing the Mastercycle because the cycle was sleek and well-made mobility option, meanwhile its TOTK equivalent is this slow juggernaut that needs you to grind 500 charges for it to stop breaking down from batterylife issues) I honestly would’ve prefered having her lingering ghost as an NPC like Tutorial Rauru, and either have her ghost follow link like the SageProjections or have her ghostly remnant exposit to Paya/Tauro to replace her as a sage. I found the sage powers to be a hassle in this game compared to BOTW. Having to stop mid-combat to figure out which of the black-blue-blobs on my screen was Riju, having to chase her while she went off to fight a particular enemy, then having to wait for riju to charge her AOE, then having to shoot a target while Yonobo’s big round ghost is standing in the way and messing with my aim was really damn frustrating. i liked how sonia’s explanation about how recall works by “bringing back the memories of the previous states” justifies de-dragoning Zelda, and im happy they didnt go “flashback cutscene” to spell that out. DragonDorf was big, but he wasnt scary or interesting. (also “demon Dragon” felt weird as a name, i feel they should’ve gone  “dark dragon” to contrast with zelda’s Light Dragon) I like how Ganondorf uses links time-dodge shenanigans against him, but i dislike how his gloom now actually destroys the hearts instead of greying them out. (yes, its the apropriate when its the same power that Samus-ed us at the game start, but having a new gameplay mechanic dropped on us at the end feels unfair and goes against the games spirit of player preperation). I do wish there was a Post-Game state, and dont think it would’ve taken much to make that, you’d just need 2 things: 1- Change zelda’s saving from “Recalled into a pre-draconic state” to “liberated from within the dragon. (IE: Have Mineru use her Spirit Sage powers to pull the soul out of the dragon, who just mindlessly continues its path in the post-game) 2- put an NPC zelda at some of the major villages, (most of the zelda’s are just locked in a conversation with the Sages, Paya and Purrha, but Hateno has a routine as she moves between the school and her Home)

I'll share this now even tho the comic will cover it later: the mastercycle is not a mobility aid for Legend. It's a vehicle that can get them from point a to point b, but lacks a way to support his body in a way that'd keep the pain from getting worse. This comic is not claiming hurting yourself further to chase a kid is a good decision. Wild just doesn't know better and Legend isn't pointing it out.

I'm not sure why but seeing zelda on the mastercycle made me laugh. Maybe it's the slightly Egyptian god like design of the front or the fact that it's too like a form of transport used in RL. As a weapon it's OK. But I much prefer the bow of light. (mostly because I've spent an age levelling it up)
