Like ships in the night
You keep passing me by
Just wasting time trying to prove who’s right
And if it all goes crashing into the sea
If it's just you and me trying to find the light
Like ships in the night
I heard Niall Horan's new song Heaven on the radio today and it sounds like a mixture of George Ezra's Budapest (sung slow in the verses) and a bit of Closer to love by Mat Kearney. Any thoughts?
I just listened and I really like it. I'm so interested to hear his album. I like Niall, he seems a really nice guy.
I see what you mean about Budapest and Closer to Love (I hadn't heard the latter, but I like that too!). That kinda slow cadence then a faster chorus. There are definite similarities.

I love the chaoticness of my music when I listen to my liked songs on shuffle. Like I can go from Billy Joel to Mat Kearney to The Lumineers to High School Musical 3 is the span of my 15 minute commute to work 😂❤️🫶🏼
23. How did you discover your favorite artist? - This is quite hard to say as I don't exactly know who I consider my favorite artist right now, so I'll just go with Mat Kearney. I first heard Nothing Left to Lose while in a taxi and thought it was one of the most nostalgia inducing songs I'd ever heard. Looked him up after that, and he's never let me down since then
