reading a random shojo manga (mata ashita by murata mayu) after forever and boy is it refreshing (mainly the boy/girl dynamics, and the general group dynamics i guess. feels like they’re moving and not like. standing in formation waiting for their line and closeup shot) but also reminded me "feeling like a girl/woman” used to be (still is) very attached to hetero relationships/attraction.. guess it makes sense once lgb stuff got more mainstream the gender part of the queer movement would have to get dragged into the spotlight right after/at the same time

It sucks that AG in any context is shitty and unethical and garbage, because there is no realistic or feasible scenario in which I could commission or convince Japanese VA, Hinata Sato, into doing a Mizuki themed cover of Mata Ashita.

But I would rather die than use or in any way support that "AI voice" bullshit. If they didn't sign up for a liscenced voice bank, they did not consent to randos using their voice without permission.
