Does anyone know if there is an equation that can check if any number x has at least two consecutive equal digits in base n?

So for instance it would be true with x=122344456 n=10 but not true with x=123456 n=10. Basically just checking if there are any repetitions in the number when written down.

It feels like something that might exist but I couldn't find anything

What if the Library of Babel contained books, not just texts.

I love the Library of Babel-- but it's important to remember that it contains all *texts* (up to a certain length) this is not the same as containing all *books* -- books are objects, they can be different shapes and sizes, made of different materials, bound with different bindings-- books have highlighting and margin notes from previous readers, old lending cards with the names of readers and dates.

Books can have illustrations. But we could make a Babel style indexing system for possible print images. Then represent the images as their index number. Now we have illustrations. We could have codes for size, color, cover material, paper weight, illustrations, margin notes, the style of handwriting of the margin notes. It would be a complex system and the final index numbers would need to be much longer. Possibly impractically long. But, a finite thing can be impractically large.

Here is a related question. How many distinct (as in you can distinguish between them yourself) objects can fit in a breadbox?

(Not all at once. I'm asking how many "different" things are small enough to be placed in a breadbox. This is either permutations or philosophy. )

I’ll be starting my degree in applied maths and computation in less than a month. Apparently, in my college, Linear Algebra and Integral and Differential Calculus are two of the hardest courses (I am unsure if it’s because of the complexity of the subjects or the lack of care by the teachers, although I’m willing to bet it’s both). Hey, sort of a very niche question, if anyone reading this knows about topological data analysis and particularly persistent homology, are there any resources out there on the PH of the n-torus? I've been able to find that of the 1-sphere from this stackexchange post and the linked articles within but nothing (as far as I'm aware) on higher-dimensional tori.

Edit: I should specify, in case it helps, I'm looking at the Clifford embedding where you embed T^n into R^(2n). In an adjacent vein, perhaps there are some results about PH on product spaces, where we could break T^n into S^1 x ... x S^1 (n times).

Can someone please help, I'm terrible at math. I only know how to do multiplication and subtraction, I get you do this 3x31, but passed I don't get it-I think it's just the same as the one he stated. 3/31x.93+2x9.3, but I don't know when I put in his birthday in this I got "20.26071428" which I thought how he get "Spring 20", but when I did it with mine I got. I stopped writing as I tried to get the same answer to copy and past-but now it was giving me a different number, but this one actually seemed to work as it said

Which seemed to make sense-Spring 19.

But when I tried to use my farmer's birthday (April 7, the day I got SDV on the PC ) it given me,
