What are yall's favorite numbers and why?
My favorite number is 2 because
It's the smallest prime
It's the only even prime
2+2 = 2*2 = 2² = 2↑↑2 = 2↑...↑2 for any number of up-arrows.
The simple continued fraction for e has the value [2; 1, 2k, 1, ...] for ascending integer values of k, starting at 1.

If you have or are pursuing a degree in a STEM field and have any kind of diagnosis regarding mental health and/or neurodiversity, congratulations! For all intents and purposes, you have met the criteria needed to be a mad scientist.

image is a screenshot of text which reads:
"Since then, mathematicians have been trying to find a single tile that fills the two-dimensional plane aperiodically, without gaps or overlaps. Ludwig Danzer, a German geometer, playfully dubbed such a tile an “einstein” — a pun on the German phrase “ein stein,” which means “one piece.”"
From this article about finding a new shape, I just learned that Einstein's name means One Piece.
Albert-fucking-One-Piece running around with his wild-ass hair --
