i really want Lew to show up in a S3 episode of CSI: Vegas. it doesn't have to be big or serious or anything, but i just think it's neat that Lew worked with Matt Lauria on Outer Range (before Trevor's untimely demise), and i think it would be fun for Lew to pop over to Matt's neighborhood!! (my two kings without social media)

i grew up on shows like CSI (CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Bones, Castle, etc), and i always loved spotting my favorite celebrities

(Glen was in CSI: Miami, Rizzoli & Isles, and NCIS; Jay was in NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, and Monica and Tarzan were both in Chicago P.D. and Monica was in Hawaii Five-0)

It was quiet in the evidence garage, the silence cloying as you slid down the wall to sit beside Joshua. His back was pressed against it, his head bowed between his knees. His thumb was pressed to his wrist, hovering over his pulse point as he focused on the thrum of blood.

He leaned into you, savouring the scent of your perfume in his nose. Floral with hints of citrus, he thought it had been infused with lily, maybe jasmine. Focusing on it helped, it bought him back to the present, helping his mind to switch gears.

“It was my mother.” He told you, tilting his head back and closing his eyes. “I’ve been screening her calls since she got out of prison. I didn’t expect her to turn up.”

This building, the place he worked, it was his sanctuary. When the world didn’t make sense to him the evidence did. He used science as a crutch because it simple, because it was something that he could understand. It had never hurt him the way people did, it had never left scars on his flesh or beaten him until he could barely see. It had never coerced him, forced him to do things he didn’t want to, things that traumatised others.

His heart began to sync into a normal rhythm. The proximity to you helping. You were port in a storm, an anchor back to the present. He knew who he was with you. You gave him the stability that he craved, one that reminded him that the past was in the past, that he wasn’t that person anymore. He wasn’t a child that could be manipulated.

“They fuck you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do. They fill you with the faults they had. And add some extra, just for you.” You recounted, your hand coming to rest on his, he threaded his fingers through yours clasping them tightly.

“Larkin?” he questioned, tipping his head towards you. “I thought you were more of a Blake fan.”

“He’s grim as fuck but he had a way with words.” You murmured as he exhaled deeply, defusing the tension that he had been carrying since he’d caught sight of his mother in reception.

“I worked so hard to distance myself from all of that.” He told you, his gaze focusing on your entwined fingers, his thumb tracing over the lines of your palm. “Having her here was like being back there in that house, in that place. It took me back to being a scared kid, lashing out and hurting other people…”

“I know you.” You said quietly. “I know you’re not that person anymore Josh. The man that you’ve become he’s something special, someone that helps people.”

He swallowed hard, the weight on his chest beginning to subside as he shuffled closer, his hip nudged against yours, shoulders bumping together.

“I needed to hear that.” He said gruffly, his lips brushing over the back of your hand. “I needed to remember that this is who I am.”

CSCI:Vegas season 3 predictions

So.... we all know how season 2 ended, with

Josh arrested for the murder of his mother's killer.

We also saw Ruby and Chavez telling him "they know he found him". Hence... pretty spot on they THINK he did it.

But, let's be honest. How many chances there are he truly did it?

Yep. Probably been framed. So, The first few episodes of next seasons they may have:

-someone either from the Night Shift or out of town (who will turn out to be a new series regular) investigating the case;

-a new dinamic within the team: I wouldn't be surprised if, after his arrest (and how she acted wotwards him), Josh's Break-up with Serena would be definitive. Please note that also Ruby- who once told Josh was her best and favorite csi, the one she trusted the most- seems to be sure HE DID IT.

-in all of this, pretty sure in season 3 we will see Josh and Ally's chemistry in full development.

This is a nostalgic feels for them, they kinda remind me more of Greg Sanders and Morgan Brody back when CSI was on with them flirts and touches and stares and undenialbe chem on screen with that growing love blooming but Greg and Morgan did the being friends thing and neither really dated though like Josh is kinda doing with Det Chaves which is like ugh the pain Allie has to go through wanting someone she almost had but kinda lost to another woman.

But the vid just brings back the moments that made them oh so cute together and the chem there is undeniable.
