Could you do some mk Headcanons (anyone you feel motivated to write about) where their meet the dark version of reader from Dark!Shang Tsung’s timeline, maybe their conflicted because their version of the reader died
randomly selected mk1 character hcs: how kitana, kenshi, mileena, scorpion, li mei, and shang tsung react to the version of their s/o's dark clone post death
this is creative asf ty anon 🫢
warnings: canon typical violence and angst that's about it (gonna hit y'all with the punk tactics)
the dialogue portions are meant to be read in the context of before you and character fight
enjoy!
Kitana
When you appeared in her line of vision, she was immediately heartbroken. She couldn't believe her late partner came back like this after so many years
You died sacrificing yourself for her to live in this timeline. you worked for the royal family for all these years, just to have to take an arrow to the chest due to an assassination attempt
Your skin now had cracks all over it and your eyes glowed red, standing by dark shang tsung's side with a mocking smirk behind your mask. Kitana could barely recognize you and you were only intrigued that she wasn't dead in this timeline
Kitana looked at you with tears in her eyes. The same person who took an arrow so she could live on. She had already taken out clones that looked like her, hell even ones that looked like her own sister and mother. Second pain to that was seeing you approach her with mischievous and evil intent.
"You...gave your life for me...and now you live on as an evil pawn for a man like Shang Tsung?"
"I did? What an idiot. In my timeline, I'm the one who assassinated you, and I still have no remorse."
Kenshi Takahashi
Post losing his eyesight, he could only ever think about how he lost you. How he wasn't quick enough in getting you out of being involved with the Yakuza. How he was one step behind
You died a brutal death simply because you were his partner, and they couldn't risk leaving you alive to tell the story of them torturing you for information, so they took care of it themselves to send a message. And boy, did it send a message
So now, in dark Shang Tsung's timeline, you are resentful of him and want your revenge. However, it was very conflicting for Kenshi: Did he take this version of you out now because he knows you don't actually feel like this? Or...die by your clone's hands to be reunited with the love of his life?
Kenshi stood before you with Sento in hand, but frozen in place. The sound of your voice, the complete change in your demeanor, and even down to how you used to walk (he always knew when you were coming because of the way your footsteps sounded), he was utterly devastated. He only had himself to blame for this moment in time.
"I'm...I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. It's all my fault."
"No need to apologize, past love, I took you out in my timeline, now I've come to finish the job in yours."
Mileena
You died in Mileena's arms. How? Well, you were a little too late in grabbing the serum that calms her down and she went crazy on the closest person to her, literally
Upon barely clinging onto dear life you were able to inject her, but you had lost too much blood. So by the time she came to you were gone. She hadn't cried and wailed this much since her father
Now, as she pointed her Sai at your neck, she didn't know what to do. Even if she turned right now, she couldn't handle killing you in the same exact way two times in a row. Even if evil you was trying to kill her
Mileena breathed heavily as she could feel herself turning, desperately trying to stop herself from mauling you to death. But the way you taunted her made half of her want to turn even quicker, knowing full well this is the dark version of you spewing nonsense to piss her off.
"Come on, Empress, turn. Rip my face off like you did before."
"I don't want to...but if my hand is forced, so be it!"
Scorpion
You guessed it. The classic partner and son loss. You fought tirelessly to defend your home and the Shirai Ryu, but it just wasn't enough. Kuai was also just one step too late
Once he got to you, there lied your lifeless body clutching your son in your arms with a sword through your back. If he just hadn't gone on that mission that day when you said you were worried of being attacked...
Now, the dark version of you relished in the pain and sorrow in his eyes. In your timeline, he was the one that died and you trained your son to be a killing machine
Scorpion's head hung low upon hearing what you've done in your timeline. All this time he promised if he could just see you again, he would apologize profusely and even give his own life for you to come back. But looking at you now, seeing you again with an evil smile and empty eyes you've never worn before made him want to take it all back.
"Want to know something funny? You were the one that died in front of me, and I got our son to do it."
"Training Satoshi to be a killing machine is a sin that not even hellfire can take care of."
Li Mei
You died while on a mission in Li Mei's place to find and gather information that would be of use to the royal house and their next moves on taking down a clan that was after it
Li Mei hasn't properly recovered since. Even to the point where she'll go on solo missions just to avoid anybody else getting hurt. She took extra shifts and extended her personal training time just to keep her mind, but at the end of the day she still crumbled
Now the evil version of you isn't even in the Sun Do. In fact, you actively try to take them down every chance you get just to get to the Li Mei in your timeline--which worked
Li Mei took a fighting stance as soon as you showed up. A piece of her heart broke at the thought of intentionally having to hurt you, but she knew you were long gone now with no shot of saving grace. You dangled your weapon in front of her and showed not one sign of fear.
"You were an esteemed member of the Sun Do, and now you are proudly a disgrace."
"I'll do it again one thousand times over and you can't stop me."
Shang Tsung
Surprisingly, he didn't betray you or kill you himself. You captured the sorcerer's heart, and that was the problem. His followers didn't like how much attention you got, so they formed an organization and took you out when they followed you on a mission
Since then he was on a rampage. He wreaked as much havoc as he could, convinced it was some outside source that held something against him. He only got stronger with anger and deep rooted sadness he couldn't process
Now you blamed him for letting you die when he could've prevented it. Hell, sometimes you felt like it was his idea and his way of getting rid of you as if you were a hindrance to his plans
Shang Tsung couldn't believe his eyes. You, who started walking towards him after you linked arms with his own dark clone. Every emotion he had ever felt bubbled to the surface the second he saw your face. Hurt, anger, sorrow, but mostly confusion. However, knowing the kind of man Shang Tsung was, he wouldn't think twice to rid of your evil clone for good.
"Whoever took you from me will pay, but I will kill you myself before I die by your tainted hands."
"Aw, how the evil sorcerer calls the dark soul 'tainted'"
-
thank you for reading! man this was SOMETHING but it was fun i don't typically write angst

when it comes to explaining gohan's weird quirks in relation to trauma (disclaimer), i think we are sleeping on the most obvious thing to accuse of being a trauma response: becoming an academic.
and i don't mean doing it because trauma made him hate fighting, or like bugs, or even anything about being a Good Son for his mother. i see these readings and i understand them, but i think we're looking at this the wrong way around.
i think we have to ask ourselves: what does becoming an academic mean?
here are just a few things that may have happened to gohan as an academic
comprehensive examination: he is left practically on his own to completely master a field of study in a span of roughly six months to a year. at the end of this period, he is put through an excruciating test of his abilities, with the stakes being that the world ends if he fails (he can't advance in his degree)
thesis writing: he is made to pour blood, sweat, and tears into his work. his supervisor tears the results to pieces and calls this mauling 'feedback.' he thanks his supervisor for this learning experience and rewrites until at last his supervisor begrudgingly admit that his efforts might be passable.
thesis defense: he stands before a group of people who are more experienced and powerful than him. they spend roughly three hours attacking him relentlessly. he has to endure it without flinching, or else the world ends (he doesn't get his degree)
publish or perish: he can never relax or take a break. he has to do research to get grant money. he has to get grant money to do research. he has to publish papers. is the Journal Impact Factor high enough? he has to keep going. he can't relax. if he slacks off, it's all over (he won't be able to get/keep an academic position)
tenure: one day, it'll be over. one day, he can slow down and relax. one day, it won't be life-or-death all the time. right?
goodyear-brown (2009) discusses a phenomenon where children removed from traumatic situations then develop anxiety because they're waiting for the other shoe to drop. they attempt to replicate the cycle of trauma->relief->trauma that they're used to and will drop the other shoe themselves if they can't get it.
so maybe gohan isn't an academic because he wants a peaceful life. maybe he's an academic because it's the best place to get that familiar, toxic combination of prolonged stress, extremely harsh mentorship, and sudden high-stakes trials he's comfortable with from growing up on the battlefield, but this time with no one's life actually on the line.
also because bugs are neat!

Am I the only one disappointed with season 3 of The Mandalorian?
Contains SPOILERS - so skip if you don’t wanna know
Tonight was, painful.
I’ve REALLY been trying to hang on with an open mind but after tonight, there’s no going back.
And I’ve got some things to get off my chest.
Din Djarin has had NO character development from the sacrifice he made for Grogu’s life. This has been inarguably, the biggest disappointment for me. I was hoping for a season of exploration of a man’s moral compass and worldview being hauled upside down, a young boy who’d been orphaned, traumatised and taken in by a cult that raised him with titanium religious beliefs. Who grew into a hardened bounty hunter but gave up everything he knew for the sake of a lost child. Became shunned for protecting said child and despite doing what he felt was right, strived to seek redemption and forgiveness. There was so much potential for Din as a character in terms of growth and development, all of which was swept under a rug within the first two episodes. He has instead become apart of Disney’s formula of “the boss ladies side bitch” with nothing to add to the scene but his catchphrase “this is the way”. That and the sudden revival of his hate for droids even though he had been working on that issue in past seasons.
Grogu is more or less the commodity Disney grew cash dollar signs in their eyes over for the sake of product marketing and just have him doing cutesy shit for the sake of being cutesy.
And then there’s Bo Katan.
Now disclaimer - I’m not the type that hates an actual person for a character they play. Yes, I’ve never liked Bo Katan (that much I’ve made clear in recent posts) but I also think that Katee Sackhoff does a brilliant job playing a character as such. And to see her come to life in season 2 was incredible and to me, Bo Katan from season two is the REAL Bo Katan.
Because I’m sure as hell disappointed with what they’ve done to her character in season 3. Bo Katan was a terrorist who broke away from Mandalore unable to accept a new direction in leadership from her own sister. She massacred and terrorised innocent people, she plotted towards the death of her sister, splintered off from her terrorist group after the throne of Mandalore was taken by Maul and continued to fight against his loyalists and later the empire itself.
And we all saw the look of death on her face when Gideon pointed out that the dark Sabre belonged to Din
This isn’t someone I was rooting for but this was someone who didn’t know when to give up and would go to any means possible to get what they wanted. This is the same woman who made an oath in the throne room of Mandalore, saying that an outsider would never rule the people. The odds were against her in many ways yet she still fought like hell…. Where is that woman? And who replaced her with Disney’s first emo teen princess whose suddenly forgotten her xenophobic upbringing?
And as for Lizzo and Jack Black’s appearances in episode six?
My partner said it best when he commented that they turn the whole show into a parody of itself.
Personally, I found Christopher Loyd’s character as flat as cardboard and an absolutely pointless goose chase used to build up momentum all to throw away the opportunity for a twist ending.
It really breaks my heart to see the series diminish into what it has. The whole reason people fell in love with the show was due to Din and Grogu’s father son dynamic and that’s all been thrown to the side in favour of other characters, setting up for the future of other shows and tying off the ends to the sequels.
Season three completely lacks the drive and purpose of the previous seasons.
It should and could have been so much more than what it is.
And Din Djarin deserved more depth in his story then to be abandoned to the side lines.

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR STAR WARS LEGENDS
One take I regularly see from the “Jedi Critical” corner of this fandom always manages to baffle me: “In Legends, Luke Skywalker corrected the mistakes of the dogmatic Jedi Order!”
Since my days as a dumbass first-time tumblr user, in which I was rather sternly corrected by older users if I got too aggressive in my arguments, I’ve tried to steer away from pointing out how STUPID that take is. But? Nothing’s saying I can’t make a post of my own about it!
So.
With the bare minimum of due respect.
What fucking book did you read where Luke Skywalker corrected his own fucking mistakes, let alone those of any Jedi who came before him?
Because from what I’VE read? Luke had a nasty habit of doing the same things everyone criticizes the Prequel Jedi for doing, only ramping the ante up in a way only a Skywalker trained by TWO of the Disaster Lineage can.
Mace Windu threatened a “helpless” old Chancellor in his own office and was trying to assassinate him? Gag me. Luke Skywalker electrocuted Shimrra Jamaane to death with Force Lightn-pardon me, “eLeCtRiC jUsTiCe.”
The Jedi Order of the Prequels used Padawans as “child soldiers”? Please. Luke Skywalker possessed the body of his nephew to duel Exar Kun…when Jacen Solo was TWO, a FUCKING TODDLER. That’s not even getting into the number of very young teenagers who died horrible deaths as SOLDIERS in the war against the Yuuzhan Vong - for pity’s sake, Anakin Solo was knighted at sixteen and KILLED AT SEVENTEEN, where his grandfather’s knighting at nineteen was considered a rush job!
The Galactic Army of the Republic was a slave army? So was the army of YVH-1 battle droids built to battle the Yuuzhan Vong invasion! “Oh, but those were just droids” yeah and? The anti-Jedi folk cried when Anakin Skywalker was rightfully punished for not wiping R2’s memory of sensitive battle information, and they’ve outright said they have more sympathy for the battle droids than for the living, breathing people defending themselves against the battle droids. Not to mention, Legends had a Droid’s Rights movement in full swing at this point in time, so? YVH’s were people programmed from “birth” to die in battle. Next question.
Obi-Wan was too mean to Darth Maul and Darth Vader when he cut off their limbs? Alema Rar would like a word! Luke Skywalker permanently crippled her lightsaber arm, his sister cut off one of her feet AND one of her lekku (brain tails, that HAVE HER BRAIN IN THEM), AND put her in the way of a spider-sloth that BIT HER IN FUCKING HALF. And this was after Luke helped raise her as a youngling and HAD A VISION OF HER TURNING TO THE DARK SIDE, and did FUCK-ALL to prevent her from turning!
On the topic of doing fuck-all to prevent something…oh, was Obi-Wan Kenobi unable to prevent his Padawan from being groomed by a Sith Lord? Well, Luke Skywalker GAVE his son Ben as an unofficial apprentice to Jacen Solo, who turned out to be Darth Caedus and mentally, emotionally, and physically tortured Ben for six years! And, while Obi-Wan did not like Palpatine and continuously advised Anakin not to trust him without even knowing Palpatine was Sidious, Luke fully suspected Jacen was headed down a dark path and still encouraged Ben to be his apprentice because he was afraid of the Skywalker legacy dying with him.
Obi-Wan Kenobi flirted inappropriately with enemy generals? Luke Skywalker banged them. No, seriously, Legends Luke’s sexual body count is in double digits, the man was an unrepentant fuckboi. Mara Jade, Calista Masana/Mingla, Gaerial Captison, Shira Brie, some blonde named Mary who was in one comic to die at the end, fucking ABELOTH? Yeah, Luke only married one of those women, BUT HE FUCKED ALL OF THEM. And now, we have the DinLuke ship (which only exists in fanon, so I will count it as Legends) to mirror the Codywan ship (which actually has some basis in canon), just to cement that Luke Skywalker is a persistent playboy for BOTH teams. He loves them and leaves them like a pro.
Oh, there’s a persistent fan-theory that Korkie Kryze was Satine and Obi-wan’s secret love child? There were rumors that Brisha Syo was Shira Brie’s daughter with Luke…rumors that were credible enough that Luke had to do his own investigation into the matter. Shira Brie, aka Lady Lumiya, whom Luke blew to smithereens when she tried to kill him, and fought her with no mercy when Darth Vader pieced her back together and sent her to fight him again. So, while Obi-Wan has a rumored lovechild from a respectful relationship with a woman who opted not to tell him, Luke legitimately blew up his alleged baby mamma in the void of space with the bare minimum of regret.
Yoda and Obi-Wan sent Luke to kill his own father because they couldn’t manage to do so? Luke sent his niece, Jaina Solo, to kill her TWIN BROTHER because he could not bring himself to kill Jacen himself. And, while Luke was understandably torn up about killing Anakin, Jaina had a Force-bond comparable with a canon dyad withh Jacen - it hurt her a lot more when she killed Jacen than it ever would have hurt Luke to kill Vader. She nearly DIED of heartbreak, that’s how bad it was.
Obi-Wan hurt Anakin’s trust by faking his death and going undercover? He beat the crap out of Anakin to maintain his cover? Luke hurt Leia’s trust by faking turning to the Dark Side, becoming a reborn Sidious’s new apprentice, ACTUALLY FALLING TO THE DARK SIDE, and mentally fighting Leia WHILE SHE WAS PREGNANT, to the point she WENT INTO LABOR EARLY.
Obi-Wan beat Anakin in a duel and left him to burn to death? Luke Skywalker BEAT THE LIVING HELL out of Vader until Vader was wordlessly pleading for MERCY, which he DID NOT DO ON MUSTAFAR.
Now.
Is there any nuance in Luke’s situations, throughout all of these examples? Yes, there is...but there’s also nuance in the Jedi’s situation in the Prequels, which no one seems to acknowledge in their case. So, whatever grace I extend to Legends!Luke being an imperfect and fascinating character, also extends to the Jedi being imperfect and fascinating characters in their own right.
I love Legends!Luke BECAUSE he reminds me of the Prequels Jedi, not because he corrected any of their “mistakes” (he did not. He very clearly did not). So don’t come at me saying Legends!Luke was better than the Prequel Jedi. I have read the books! I have kept the receipts! AND I WILL USE THEM.

Httyd au in which Hiccup gets to be the feral dragon boy he was destined to be.
Basically, what if the underwater scene in the first movie when Stoick frees Toothless from his chains during the fight with Red death didn't happen? (Im talking about that scene before Stoick tells Hiccup that he's proud to call him his son)
I think there was some form of understanding between Toothless and Stoick in that scene. When Stoick pulled Hiccup out the water and broke Toothless free he showed Toothless, for the first time, that he wasn't the enemy here. Not anymore.
What if that had never happened?
What if Toothless managed to break the chains, all by himself, fuelled by his panic when he saw Hiccup drowning? What if Hiccup managed to cook up a last minute plan to free him, using all those sharp bits of metal and debri to do the job quicker, before he lost breath?
In both cases the fight would probably go like how it did in canon, minus the heartfelt moment Hiccup shared with Stoick before the battle.
Hiccup would still get knocked off by the Red Death's tail, and Toothless would undoubtedly go after him, having to bite his leg off in process, etc etc.
But,,,,when Stoick finally finds them after the battle, worried out of his mind, thoughts consumed by the fact that the last thing Hiccup might've heard from him was him declaring that he wasn't his son, he does not encounter a trusting night fury. Toothless does not unfurl his wings to show him his son.
Instead, he glimpses his son under it's wings as it shifts, standing with no little difficulty, with Hiccup's limp form between it's forelegs as it growls and hisses at him.
Toothless absolutely mauls anyone daring to approach them, and it eventually has to be subdued by the entire gang + their dragons. It isn't an easy feat, despite Toothless also being injured and drained by the battle.
In the end, they manage to get Hiccup the medical care he needs, the dragons ferry the vikings back to Berk, and it's all a very slow process, especially with the feral protective Night Fury stubbornly guarding Hiccup. Astrid is the only one able to approach them.
And that trend continues,,,even long after Hiccup has recovered. Toothless makes every effort to drag him away from people, and on the rare occasion he isn't successful, he just spends the whole time threatening the poor sods foolish enough to come too close.
As a result, Hiccup spends much of his time away from people, except for Astrid and the gang and most of his time is spent around dragons, learning about them and just being Hiccup being feral.
He goes of flights further and further away from Berk, trips lasting longer and longer, and Stoick fears one day he might never come back. He talks to the beasts in their own language, with hisses and clicks and chirps, the draconic sounds bleeding into his Norse. The Night Fury follows him like his own shadow, protecting him far better than Stoick ever could.
He rues the day he disowned his son.
For it seemed as if the Night Fury knew what he had done, and took Hiccup as it's own hatchling.

In the Expanded Universe, the Clone Troopers didn't have inhibitor chips. If Ahsoka and Rex were pre-existing EU characters before TCW, how would Order 66 play out?
As someone particularly unfamiliar with the EU, I'm basically going to have to give my best guess here based on what little I know about how clones and clone/Jedi relationships were treated pre-TCW.
So the first option is the one that seems to be most in line with what the Prequels were going for which is that the clones are slightly less than sentient and so while the relationships between the clones and the Jedi might've seemed friendly, it wasn't the deep friendships we saw from TCW, but perhaps closer to like a co-worker's politeness than anything else. So if we just assume that the plot of TCW itself goes pretty much the same, Rex and Ahsoka are on a star destroyer coming back from Mandalore when Order 66 hits, then the way this one goes is that Rex simply doesn't hesitate when given the Order. This is very likely to end in Ahsoka's immediate death since she is surrounded by clone troopers on that bridge. If we want to be kinder to Ahsoka for some reason, then let's say she manages to pick up on the danger and is able to somehow flee the bridge, then she'd just escape immediately. She'd probably kill several clones on her way to a shuttle because she wouldn't really care about keeping them alive the same way we see happening with Obi-Wan and Yoda in ROTS; it's them or her at this point. Rex would either be killed in her escape or just left behind and we'd never know what happened to him after that.
The second option is the anti-Jedi version where the reason the clones are so quick to turn on the Jedi is because the Jedi have treated them badly and so the clones hate them and aren't opposed to their genocide. In this case, obviously Rex and Ahsoka's relationship would be very strained, he's with her on this mission because he's been ordered to go by Anakin probably but there's no friendship here and never has been. The aftermath of this probably goes exactly the same as option 1, honestly. The most likely outcome is she gets immediately murdered because she's surrounded by people who want her dead and aren't going to hesitate, but if you wanted to be REALLY kind to her, then she gets a split second to react to the danger and finds a way to flee the bridge and probably kills several clones on her way out to a shuttle. Maybe this is the one where she uses Maul as a distraction, knowing it will mean the deaths of the clones, but instead of going after Rex, she just goes after her own escape. This would probably lend itself well to a darker Ahsoka, honestly.
Option 3 is based on what little I know of Karen Traviss's abominations and in this one I guess Ahsoka would realize while spending time with Bo-Katan that wow the Mandos are just SO MUCH BETTER than those stinky Jedi and she realizes she's been in love with Rex this whole time and the two of them decide to stay with Bo-Katan and become Mandalorians alongside the rest of the 332nd or something. Maybe they met up with that dude Kal Skirata and his Null sons or whatever when taking back Mandalore because everyone seems to think this dude shits gold or something.
TL;DR It would suck, pretty badly. The best option for me is option 1 and Ahsoka is immediately killed along with most of the other Jedi during Order 66. It doesn't break continuity with the films at least and it's thematic that she dies from Anakin's choices, even though she'll never know it.

He’s an asshole but he loves his siblings. Spoilers

Imagine comforting Leo after camille’s death (after finding out he’s cheated on you)
Camille is was Leo’s sister. Not just by blood.
Leo found out that he was an Usher when he was 18. Just 18. Of course he was.. well, lost.
Lost in the ways of living, how it works, what’s wrong and what’s right. What he can show to the world and what he can’t because for fuck’s sake, he went from just a boy from London to Napoleon Usher, son of THE Roderick Usher.
So that’s when Camille helped him. “He was like an ugly lost puppy.” She once told you when she came over for dinner (she keeps saying that she hates spending time with her dunce of a brother but never fail to show up when you invite her)
She guided him, through everything. Telling him what material is good to wear. What brand is the best. Even hook him up with designer friends to get his style fixed (18 years old Leo was a roadman)
She was like a compass to him. When he can’t process his own emotions, after he’s done drugging it all down, he’ll go and find her.
Camille being Camille will roll her eyes and offer him a drink. Lecture him about how feelings are stupid and a waste of time. He’ll still be sad, pouting while playing around with the glass he has in his hand. Camille will sigh and punch his arm lovingly. That’s how he knows she cares.
So when you find out that she’s dead, mauled by Chimpanzees, you couldn’t, even refuse to believe your eyes. It’s Camille L'Espanaye for hell’s sake, she’s near untouchable, if she wanted information she wouldn’t dig around by herself.
Your second thought, after coming to terms with the fact that she is dead, is Leo.
You two had ended things the night before. Well unofficially ended things. You still have to sign paperworks to make it official.
You found out that he’s cheated on you. You’re not even sure if it’s worse, the fact that it’s not constant and he’s not looking to cheat, he cheats when he’s given the opportunity.
You hated him. For doing that to you both. Aside from the cheating, he’s a great boyfriend. Which makes you feel conflicted.
You didn’t know where you were going when you put on your shoes. It started with ‘a short walk after a long day’ to ‘grabbing coffee’ near to where his place is to taking the elevator and here you are.
In front of his house. Ringing the bell.
You were about to walk away. When the door opens, revealing a not-so-ok-looking Leo. Eyebags, red eyes, disheveled hair, wearing his outside clothes still. It’s obvious that he’s been crying for long.
“Hi.” An awkward one left from your lips. Leo didn’t even have the guts to look at you, his eyes pinned to the floor. He silently moved away from the door, giving you space to walk in.
Which you did, eventually settled yourself on his couch. He’s had a few wrapping papers on the table, a box full of his ‘goods goods’. Probably planning on getting high out of his mind.
Maybe you could lie to yourself. You’re here so that he doesn’t die from od.
“Look, y/n if this is about the paperworks, this is not a good time.” Leo finally says, his voice rough, almost making you flinch.
“It’s not that.” You pat the seat next to you
Leo sat down.
You two didn’t say anything until suddenly he burst into sobs.
Mumbling something about how you shouldn’t be there, you shouldn’t comfort him.
You wouldn’t reply because he’s right. You shouldn’t but you’re there anyway. Patting his back and eventually letting him put his whole weight on you.
His face planted to your neck. Not wanting to leave anytime soon. His arm around your waist.
He’s crying and it doesn’t sound like he’s stoping any time soon.
Pathetically repeated “i love you.” That made you feel bitter. You had to bite your own tongue to not slip a “you wouldn’t cheat if you did.” Camille just died. Not now
He promised to go to therapy. Find out why the fuck he’s like that. You ignore it. If he plans on changing then he’ll sort it out himself.
You knew what this is. He’s avoiding the topic of Camille. He didn’t want it to be real.
He’s Napoleon Usher, he’s the man you can read like a toddler’s book.
You’ve got your hand drawing tiny circles on his back.
You both stayed that way until he falls asleep on you.

Why is Count Dooku's characterization vastly different in The Clone Wars then Attack of the Clones? In AOTC he's all like, "I'm sorry old friend" and "Back down", in TCW he seems to take pleasure in killing Jedi. What happened?
Okay, so I lightly touched on this back in this post where I compare the Dooku we see in the Legends continuity to the Dooku we see in Canon and in this video. George Lucas quotes used as sources can be found at the end.
To start with: there's a dichotomy to Dooku.
On the one hand... he makes good points. His concerns are the same that many Jedi share: the Senate is corrupt, and its representatives are abusing their power for their own selfish needs, sometimes even using Jedi to do so.
On the other hand... Dooku's a Sith. Which means he - like the Senators - is also after power, if not moreso. He's greedy, selfish and ambitious. Sure, he makes good points but he’s part of the problem; he knows it, but he doesn’t care.
More importantly, like Maul and Grievous, the primary purpose of Dooku, as a character, is to show us who Anakin is going to turn into:
An evil, corrupted old man. A prodigal son of the Jedi Order (with closet fascist-leanings) who, in his unquenchable thirst for power, was reduced to being a slave of Darth Sidious.
Tumblr media
One of the big differences between Dooku and Anakin, however, is that Dooku was always more politically savvy.
Count Dooku has a public image.
Tumblr media
He uses his past as a Jedi to cultivate this persona of a wise intellectual, a rational man with fair and just demands, one who fights for the little guy.
He is the head of the Separatist movement, a charismatic figure known throughout the galaxy for his political idealism, even giving lectures at universities.
Tumblr media
But it is just a persona.
I mean, that's probably how he started out, sure, but by the time we see him in Attack of the Clones, Dooku is a Sith Lord, and he's been one for over 10 years, because we know he was going by "Tyranus" while ordering Sifo-Dyas' death and hiring Jango Fett a few months before the invasion of Naboo.
Tumblr media
QUICK NOTE: In Canon, Dooku left the Jedi Order 10 years before Qui-Gon’s death. So chances are, he's actually been a Sith for almost 20 years, as we know he was already a darksider 8 years prior to The Phantom Menace because he tried to recruit Rael Averross at the end of the book Master & Apprentice.
Which means he's pure evil.
Deep down, Dooku's the guy we see in The Clone Wars: Darth Tyranus, a ruthless, sadistic killer whose only goal is to destroy the Jedi Order and bend the galaxy to his will.
But the galaxy can't know this, right? They think he's Count Dooku, a kind-hearted man whose beliefs are controversial but ultimately altruistic. Hell, even the Jedi remember him fondly.
So, like Palpatine, he keeps up the facade.
He does this with Obi-Wan, as he secretly tries to recruit him to overthrow Sidious (who Lucas compares to Vader trying to do with Luke in Empire Strikes Back):
Tumblr media
He does this with the Jedi, calling Mace "old friend", telling him he's sorry he's about to have them executed.
Tumblr media
He plays this charade up to the very end...
Tumblr media
... but when Obi-Wan still won't back down, he is left with no choice but to kill him the fastest way he can: with a lightsaber.
A red-bladed lightsaber, in signature Sith fashion. One he’s been careful to keep a secret.
Tumblr media
But Obi-Wan's seen it, he's seen the Force Lightning... he's been given a peek behind the curtains, so now he has to die.
And you see the change in Dooku’s behavior. He starts to taunt Obi-Wan, he’s grinning, there’s a sadistic glimmer in his eye. For a brief moment, he drops the mask and goes to town.
Tumblr media
Oh and Anakin joins in, whatever the more the merrier. But then Yoda joins in... and Dooku can't beat Yoda. Crap, he's gonna tell everyone.
The secret of him being a Sith Lord is gonna get out...!
But this is Palpatine and Dooku we're talking about. Political geniuses, masters of spin and flipping the story. If the secret got out... who cares?
Seriously, who cares if the Jedi know he’s a Sith, now? The war's already started, Order 66 is right around the corner. He won't even bother pretending he's a good guy, with the Jedi.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Him playing the role of the "villain" when facing the Republic also makes it so that the Senate will want to keep the war going until he's captured or dead.
And because they're at war, he can simply wave the fiendish acts the Republic lays at his feet as "slanderous propaganda" in front of the Separatists, they'll just eat it up.
Tumblr media
Furthermore, Dooku being his true, ruthless self when engaging with the Republic also has a second perk: it'll make the Jedi look bad.
'Cause the galaxy doesn't really get what a Sith Lord is, they think it's just some Jedi variant. So that's still a Jedi, right?
As such, Dooku's cruel actions and cruelty then feed into the anti-Jedi conspiracy theories about them "starting the war" and the growing distrust that'll make it so that - when the Jedi are eventually wiped out - the general public will just go "good riddance".
Which was the main goal of the entire Clone War conflict.
TLDR:
The guy we see in most of Attack of the Clones is Count Dooku, political idealist, AKA who he presents himself to be.
The characterization we see at the end of Attack of the Clones, in The Clone Wars and in Revenge of the Sith is that of Darth Tyranus, Sith Lord, AKA his true self.
George Lucas Quotes:
About Dooku’s valid points:
“I wanted a more sophisticated kind of villain. Dooku’s disenchantment with the corruption in the [Republic] is actually valid. It’s all valid. So, Chris plays it as, “Is he really a villain or is he just someone who is disenchanted and trying to make things right?”” - Starlog Magazine #300, 2002
“The confrontation between Obi-Wan and Dooku originally was a confrontation between Padmé and Dooku, and it was a political thing. I decided, after seeing the movie, that I didn’t need that scene with Padmé and Dooku, it was in the wrong part of the picture, and this one, with Obi-Wan, would be more appropriate. It would work better if Dooku would actually tell the truth about what’s going on and then create a situation where nobody believed him. And it also allows you to kinda have some sympathy for Dooku in that he carries the sympathies of most of the Jedi which is that the Senate is corrupt and is incapable of carrying out any meaningful actions because they argue about everything all the time.” - Attack of the Clones, Director’s Commentary, 2002
About the similarities between Anakin and Dooku:
“[In the garage scene, Anakin] sort of lays out his ambition and you’ll see later on his ambition and his dialogue here is the same as Dooku’s. He says “I will become more powerful than every Jedi.” And you’ll hear later on Dooku will say “I have become more powerful than any Jedi.” [...] And Dooku is, kind of, the fallen Jedi who was converted to the Dark Side because the other Sith Lord didn’t have time to start from scratch, and so we can see that that’s where this is going to lead which is that it is possible for a Jedi to be converted. It is possible for a Jedi to want to become more powerful.” - Attack of the Clones, Director’s Commentary, 2002
“I needed to get across the point that Jedi can leave the Order, to set up what happens with Anakin later on. Also, in the end when you realize that Dooku is Darth Tyranus, it explains what Darth Sidious did after Darth Maul was killed: he seduce a Jedi who had become disenchanted with the Republic. He preyed on that disenchantment and converted him to the dark side, which is also a setup for what happens with Anakin.” - Mythmaking: Behind the Scenes of Attack of the Clones, 2002
About Dooku’s true nature:
“If you put two Sith together, they try to get others to join them to get rid of the other Sith. Dooku's ambition here is really to get rid of Darth Sidious. He's trying to get Obi-Wan's assistance in that [...] so that he and Obi-Wan could overthrow Sidious and take over. And it's exactly the same scene as when Darth Vader does it with Luke to try to get rid of Sidious.” - Attack of the Clones, Commentary Track 2, 2002
“In the midst of this turmoil, a separatist movement was formed under the leadership of the charismatic former Jedi Count Dooku. By promising an alternative to the corruption and greed that was rotting the Republic from within, Dooku was able to persuade thousands of star systems to secede from the Republic. Unbeknownst to most of his followers, Dooku was himself a Dark Lord of the Sith, acting in collusion with his master, Darth Sidious, who, over the years, had struck an unholy alliance with the greater forces of commerce and their private droid armies.” - Shatterpoint, Prologue, 2004

Well thank you :) hmmm, for a prompt. You know about all those fics where twilight losses control while in wolf form? What if that happened and time was forced to fight him? It could be caused by a villain with mind control powers whose cackling in the background as time tries desperately not to hurt his son
If I had a nickel for ever fic I’ve written where Twilight gets possessed/brainwashed and Time fought him I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it’s happened twice—
Anyway eeeeehehe I had fun with this one. This one is a little bit of a hypothetical situation, so it’s in the dubiously-canon pile. Technically canon to the au or not though, Twilight isn’t a little kid here, he’s... hmm, 17-ish? Somewhere around there.
Warning for some blood & injury: it could be worse, but I do think this is probably the heaviest one of these I’ve written 😅
———
“Easy pup,” Time soothed, ignoring the deep growls coming from his son’s throat, and the utter lack of recognition in his gaze. “You know me. I’m not your enemy.”
Nothing but a blank rage shone in Twilight’s eyes as he continued to approach, a snarl ripped from his jaws.
An amused cackle echoed from nearby, but Time firmly ignored it, still slowly circling around his currently-lupine son.
“Come on Twilight,” he breathed, searching for something— anything in those eyes that recognized him. “You can fight this. Don’t let them do this to you, I know you’re in there.”
A growl was all that met him, blue eyes devoid of recognition. Time took a risk and stopped moving backwards, reaching out a pleading hand, and Twilight seemed to hesitate, hackles lowering just a hair.
“Please Twilight,” he breathed.
His nose reached out to sniff Time’s gloved palm, and something flickered in Twilight’s gaze, something familiar.
“Get on with it! Kill him!” a voice screeched, and Twilight’s eyes went black.
He threw himself at his father with a snarl, and Time just barely managed to throw himself out of the way of his son’s jaws. Twilight immediately turned around to come at him again, and crashed into him with what felt like the force of a truck, sending him to the ground with a cry.
Twilight began to snap wildly at his face, and it was all Time could do not to get his neck torn out.
“Twilight stop!” he shouted, calling on his powers and the strength that they granted in order to throw him off. “Fight this!”
Twilight hit the ground but was immediately up again, snarling with his teeth bared wider than Time had ever seen them before.
“Ooh, he’s made him mad now sister!” a voice different from the earlier one giggled. “This is getting interesting!”
“A battle to the death!” cackled the other voice, almost impossible to tell apart. “The great Fierce Deity against his own son! Who will destroy the other first?”
Time gritted his teeth and avoided another snap from Twilight, casting his gaze around the room.
He saw no sign of the villainesses that were forcing Twilight against him, but they must be here, or at least close, eagerly watching the action. The Twinrova were notorious brainwashers, and their powers had not diminished in the slightest since Time had fought them as a child.
How could he break their hold over his son without killing him?
A piercing howl broke his thoughts and Twilight lunged at him again, jaws closing around his leg. Time cried out as teeth pierced his skin, and in a panic he lashed out with his powers, throwing Twilight off and straight into a wall.
The sound his son made when he fell made Time’s heart cry out, but he used the time it took him to recover in order to form a strategy. He’d seen something glint in Twilight’s ear when he’d attacked that time, and if memory served correct, it was almost definitely what was forcing him to attack.
All he needed to do was get close enough to get it out.
Time struggled to his feet, mauled leg barely holding his weight, but he leveled his weapon when Twilight turned towards him again. His breath came fast in his chest as Twilight snarled, but he had a plan now. All he had to do was see it through.
Twilight moved and Time met him, dodging his lunge and trying to get close to his ear without getting ripped apart.
Time was normally quick on his feet, but Twilight was a blur on four paws, snapping at his heels and trying to get at his injured leg, all while the Twinrova cackled in the background. Time dodged as best he could, trying not to hurt him any further, but he was forced to strike back with his own attacks, something in his chest aching every time he landed a hit and Twilight whimpered.
His leg was starting to feel numb the longer he fought, and Time could feel the urge to more fully give into his power growing the longer he deflected Twilight’s advances.
He desperately needed to finish this.
Taking a deep breath and mentally sending out an apology, Time sharply kicked out at Twilight’s ribs, knocking him backwards for mere seconds, but it gave him the moment he needed to get into position.
Time breathed out, preparing himself as Twilight shook himself and stumbled to his feet, and when his son launched himself at him yet again, he didn’t try to avoid him.
Twilight’s jaws closed around his arm, sending a burst of sharp pain up his elbow, and Time forcibly bit back a cry. Despite the feel of teeth beginning to tear through his gauntlets, he used his new position to reach forward and grab at his son’s ear.
A burst of hope went through him as his fingers closed around something hard, and he tore it out of his son’s ear, slamming the small gem to the ground and utterly shattering it.
The effect was immediate. Two identical screams echoed through the room, and Twilight jerked backwards, releasing Time’s arm with his eyes blown wide.
Then Twilight dropped to the ground with a choked cry, one that tore straight through Time’s chest as the enraged screams abruptly cut off. He wasted no time in stumbling his way over to his son, and ran a hand he firmly told himself wasn’t shaking along Twilight’s fur.
A full-bodied shudder ran through Twilight, and he fell back into hylian form, face pale. A small moan escaped his lips as he clutched at his forehead, and Time eased Twilight’s fingers out from where they gripped at his hair.
“Easy Twilight, take it slow,” Time said quietly, and forced himself to look at every injury he’d inflicted on his son.
Twilight had blood smeared across an eye from a hit Time had been forced to take, and there were several other spots where his suit had red stains beginning to soak the fabric, the actual material unaffected due to the fact that he’d been in wolf form the entire time. Another shiver wracked through him as Time watched, and he curled slightly around his ribs, face still twisted in a wince.
Time felt his throat tighten.
What was he going to tell Malon?
“Easy pup, easy,” he soothed as Twilight tried to move, gently gathering him into his arms. Twilight flinched as he was picked up, but immediately sank into his father’s hold, brow creased. “You’re okay.”
“D-dad...” Twilight breathed, then flinched when Time felt his hand along his side. He could feel at least one cracked rib, more likely broken.
Twilight’s breath hitched, but he managed to open his eyes and blearily meet Time’s gaze, still clutching at his forehead.
“I-I couldn’t...”
“I know, it’s not your fault,” Time soothed, and ran a hand through Twilight’s sweaty bangs. “Brainwashing is the Twinrova’s specialty. You did an admirable job resisting them, pup. No one could have done better.”
“...they gone?” Twilight murmured, hope in his eyes, and Time glanced around once before nodding.
“Yes. Though I doubt for good. We should get you somewhere safe,” he said softly.
Twilight’s breath hitched again as Time began to stand, and Time himself swayed dangerously as he got up, but he managed to keep his balance, and used just enough of his powers to easily hold Twilight in his arms.
He wasn’t able to hold back his hiss of pain as he began to walk though, and Twilight, despite his dazed state, picked up on it, eyes catching on the blood on his arm and the limp in his gait.
Realization flitted across his face, and Time saw the exact moment the guilt hit him, a short intake of breath accompanying it.
“I’m-m sorry,” Twilight mumbled in a distraught voice, and Time merely pulled him closer, holding him tight as he continued to plod forward.
“You have nothing to apologize for,” he replied in a whisper, closing his eyes.
And I have everything.

The Artificer (Rain World) "A fierce combatant, master of pyrotechnics and explosives. Keen to move up in the foodchain, your journey will surely be one lined with constant bloodshed and warfare."
The Artificer is a violent, carnivorous slugcat with the ability to propel themself through the air by creating explosions, along with the power to turn spears and rocks into explosives at the cost of food. They have a bitter grudge against the Scavengers, specifically, for reasons that are at first unclear, and their reputation is locked at the lowest possible value. Throughout their campaign, they sometimes dream before the save screen appears, showing you snapshots of their past. The first two dreams show them caring for a pair of pups. The third dream shows them passing by a Scavenger toll, where one of the pups attempts to steal a pearl. The fourth shows them running for their life and being forced to leave one pup behind, presumably to be killed, before the ground begins to shake as the rain comes. The fifth shows their second pup's death--drowning in a pool of water as they attempt to flee. All dreams after that show them killing Scavengers.
Five Pebbles is unusually kind to them, due to both the Citizen ID Drone they carry and the fact that they share a common enemy. A Scavenger pack has made its home in Pebbles' formerly-abandoned city, and he tasks the Artificer with destroying them, as they have been damaging the top of his can.
In this city (Metropolis), the Artificer can speak to an Echo, Twelve Beads among Burning Skies, who tells them the following:
"You are stuck in a cycle of wrath and destruction, simple being. Gripped by raw emotions whose chains bind you, destined to this land. Shortcomings of the past haunt one and all like whispering phantoms. Listen. Let this be a warning to you… An unrewarding battle awaits, culminating in a path of no return. A perpetuity of struggles begetting more of the same. Find a way out, if you still can."
Eventually, the Artificer (when following the game's usual route) finds their way to the Twelfth Council Pillar; The House of Braids, where they face off against the scavengers' chieftain. Upon defeating them and taking their mask, they are permanently locked at Karma One, which is believed to represent wrath and violence due to clues in-game. If they visit TBaBS after this, they say:
"You, who have encountered a consequence much like my own. Gripped by raw emotions whose chains bind you, destined to this land. Shortcomings of the past haunt one and all like whispering phantoms. An unrewarding battle awaits, culminating in a path of no return. A perpetuity of struggles begetting more of the same. We are a pair who have forfeited everything."
Alternately, the Artificer can seek ascension, however their wrath prevents them from ascending fully, and they are only briefly reunited with their pups before meeting an unknown fate.
tl;dr: local sapient slug's kids die and they commit warcrimes about it
oh yeah also they're the only* slugcat with the ability to maul so that's something
*enot can technically do it also but we don't talk about them in this household"
Firelord Ozai (Avatar: The Last Airbender) "Fire powers? Check. Used to inflict only pain and suffering? Check. Complete and total destruction of an entire culture and the attempted destruction and assimilation of the rest of the world? While using said fire powers? Check.
The use of fire to permanently disfigure his son for a minor slight and then strip him of everything he's ever known by exiling him in a futile quest feels SO desolation to me, It's like Jude Perry but without the stock market. Taking everything from the children of the Southern Water Tribe, both the victims taken and killed by the firebenders and the rest of the adults who left to fight them. The destruction and erasure of their own history for the sake of filling their children's heads with propaganda. Literally using the power of the eclipse to blast burn immense swaths of land from the air, impersonal and complete destruction. If you extend Ozai to represent the Fire Nation as a whole, which I think is pretty reasonably done as their dictator, it's pretty cut and dry."

Luke, Anakin and Palpatine
On the matter of Palpatine´s grooming of Anakin, I agree completely with @ozarlu-seda
post I will just add some of my thoughts about it here:
So I completely agree about Anakin neededing an equally concerted effort to help him snap out of the Emperor´s grooming and of course the characters themselves recognizing this is what was happening, which wasn´t the case of either in the prequels, Anakin, the Jedi Order, Padmé or Ahsoka never quite call it what it was, with the sole exception of Maul, given all the ways the Emperor used to get ahold of Anakin and later to keep psycological physical control over Vader himself it was almost impossible for him to break out of it without looking for help specifically towards that end and still Anakin/Vader had to recognize he had been groomed, which he didn´t.
Tumblr media
The only character in the entire saga who came close to understand what really happened to Anakin and started to undo the effects of the grooming and abuse even if it was decades later was Luke, his dialogue with Vader before and during their duel on the second Death Star is mostly about him trying to get his father to break psycologically free of the Emperor´s control and of the darkside by making him remember his name, the person he used to be and his real intentions, because Luke knew that if it where up to Vader, he would not have lead his Son anywhere close to Palpatine.
At the same time he keept his emotional distance from the Emperor, at no point does he think of him as an ally or a defenseless old man which inspires Palpatine to use Luke´s hate for him to turn him to the darkside.
Tumblr media
Palpatine confirmed his possesion of Vader and believed he getting Luke was a matter of time, he tried to use Luke´s hate for him and compassion for his father to turn him but the conditions between Anakin and Luke could not be more different, Luke grew up free of any knowledge about the Sith or the Jedi, in a loving family, outside the Emperor´s influence, he already had his mind, pov, ideals, dreams well formed before Obi-Wan and Yoda started training him in the Jedi ways, this gave Luke a particular oppinion, he wasn´t afraid of confronting his teachers about what they were teaching him while also respecting them deeply for their knowledge and he didn´t think too much about doing something different from what they suggested if he thought it was the right thing to do, like going to rescue his friends on Bespin. Luke also had a circle of friends that loved him unconditionally and he didn´t have any problem with calling them his friends.
Tumblr media
Anakin didn´t have that, he grew up a slave, loved by his mother but under the menace of being blown up if he dared doing anything other than his slave master will, yet at this stage Anakin developed a strong mind of his own, a plan to help his mother, his friends and himself to free them from slavery and even a strategy to help Padmé and Qui-Gon Jinn when they came looking for help, this compassionate kid who gave without a thought for himself was tremendously free mentally and emotionally, yet years later he´s so used to follow the dictates of Palpatine, the Jedi Council and even Padmé that he has a hard time deciding for himself what to do, even when the life of his mother is on the line, so what happened to that kid? My guess is that Palpatine´s grooming had a lot to do to attack Anakin´s sense of self, his security on himself, on his ideals, on his values and the Jedi style of organization didn´t help matters, so Anakin´s initial fierce beliefs and emotional and mental freedom took a beating during the 10 years of his padawanship and even more so at the times of the clone wars. He and Padmé became a couple but even there there wasn´t much time or even trust between each other Padmé started hidding things from him and Anakin did the same, he came back to the war only for Palpatine to give the final push forcing him in a direct confrontation between himself, the Order and the Senate, symbolized by Padmé and Obi-Wan, without being able to call Padmé his wife or Obi-Wan his father figure. His support net was in tatters mostly by Palpatine´s design
Tumblr media
This is why I am not of the oppinion of thinking of Luke was essentially a "better person" than Anakin, because they have a lot of similarities, Luke has similar compassion and temper to the one Anakin had but their circunstances were extremely different, while Anakin´s sense of self constantly was beaten down by Palpatine´s grooming, Luke´s keep his sense of self by sheer will but also the support of his friends, family and teachers.
Tumblr media
This similaritiy between them got in two directions, Vader could understand what affected Luke more to make him fall to the darkside, even better than Palpatine did and Luke discovered what was important for his father and what to tell him to make him start snaping out of the darkside.
Tumblr media
Their duel is actually a psycological one and Vader almost actually managed to make Luke fall, the only reason he didn´t was that he had the example, right before his eyes, in Vader, of what would happen to him if he fell, he would destroy himself, this helped him get a hold on himself and break completely free of the darkside temptation.
Tumblr media
But Luke does manage to help his father, symply by recognizing him as his father and a jedi, by giving him his dignity as a person back. "I am a Jedi like my father before me" this made clear that from Luke´s pov, what he knew of the Jedi his father have been, it was something good, something worthy of being emulated, something his father should be proud of and not reject as a shameful part of his past, that believing in compassion = unlimited love was an ideal worthy of dying for, because Luke went to the death star ready to die if that was what it took to free his father from the darkside, he trusted the rebellion to destroy the Death Star. Killing the Emperor was secondary to that.
Tumblr media
So when the Emperor decided to kill Luke, secure in his absolute control over Vader that it didn´t matter if he killed his Son right in front of him, Vader/Anakin got enough strenght back to become himself once again, to defend his Son because he´s his Son and he needed help and he called for his father so he answered him even if it meant his death, the Emperor´s death and the fall of the Empire.
Tumblr media
Vader didn´t break completely from the Emperor´s emotional hold, he still had a lot of mixed feelings towards Palpatine even after all those years, even after Palpatine bassically ordered Luke to kill Vader to take his place, Lucas even says that Vader "loved Palpatine" in his own way and yet he decided to take stand, to stop, to make Palpatine stop, not matter his feelings on the matter, because they had to stop.
Vader/Anakin doesn´t condemn Palpatine ,he recognizes himself as responsible as well for the state of the galaxy and takes on his master last punishment on himself to save Luke and it no longer mattered to him to die if it meant keeping Luke safe and put a stop to their rule.
He even asked Luke to leave him because he was serious about ending the Sith and he recognizes himself as a Sith but he also knew there was no way of scaping death this time and it was fine because it was his time. He let go of everything, even his life and this finally gave him peace, at this point he didn´t even know Obi-Wan and Yoda were going to help him become a force ghost, all he knew was that he was going to die and he was at peace with that, he became once more the person he used to be but also the fierce emotional freedom he used to have and he could not have been more proud of Luke, for growing up into the man he did.

My own silly little interpretation of Edward Rochester if he were my OC instead of Charlotte Brontë’s ( Jane Eyre Chainsaw Man AU, takes place in the 2000’s)
Edward Fairfax Rochester
Born: 10/11/1976, 26 years old
Gender: male, he/him
Family: Frederick and Rowland Rochester ( father and brother), Ahed Al-Wadood ( mother, deceased), Mary-Anne Fairfax Rochester ( stepmother/half mother , deceased)
Occupation: Devil Hunter, current captain of division 6. Later landlord to Thornfield Hall.
Devil contracts: Tragedy, Terror, and The Electricity Fiend
Edward was raised for most of his life by his mother, an independent journalist who often worked for large media companies in a series of contracts back in Britain. Most of the time she would have to work in her home country, whatever the news decided to call it, she called it Palestine. Edward would spend half a year with his mother and half a year with his father and his wife. In order to keep up the charade that he was his father’s legitimate son.
So he grew up knowing what war and violence looked like. Sometimes following his mother to visit family in Gaza or Jerusalem. He knew what it was like to have threats issued that your house was going to be demolished, or to be randomly searched at checkpoints when you wanted to go one place to another. He knew what stark contrast it was to the luxurious life he lived in Britain with his father. But one incident would change his boy mind forever.
His mother was shot during crossfire between the two sides. And though the killer was obvious and clearly on the side of the occupation, no one bothered to bring him to justice. Edward was never the same after the death of his mother. He would spend his whole year in the UK from there on out. But the images of violence and bloodshed caused by human hands would not escape his mind. Soon he would learn that it was not only humans that could cause that sort of destruction.
Being the sheltered son of a billionaire he was in the UK, he did not know much about Devils or Fiends and what they could do to humans if you ever got near. After all, public safety and the Devil Hunters could take care of them, right?
It was not until he witnessed a Devil maul a civilian before his very eyes as a teenager that they felt real. As real as soldiers in uniforms. And for the first time since his mothers death, he felt like he could do something about it. These devils weren’t humans, you could bring them to justice no questions asked. Hungry to take out his revenge on targets that deserved it, he started training and soon enough joined the Public Safety Devil Hunters in London.
And there he met the Devil Killer herself, Antoinette Bertha Mason.
They say the best devil hunters are those that have the most screws loose. And if it was true, then Antoinette was the best of the best. The two of them became work buddies, and the worked together most of the time. Bertha always remaining at arms length from Edward due to her insanity. But saving his life more than a few times during their escapades. A strange sort of one sided friendship grew between them.
Then Antoinette nearly died, and was possessed by a devil.
The electricity Devil, effectively making whatever Antoinette was a fiend. By law, meant to be killed as mercilessly as any devil. But Edward, not bearing to kill his friend and colleague, or what was his friend and colleague, hid her in the attic of Thornfield hall and took it upon himself to take care of her.
And that’s his backstory lmao ahaha

I love your Bluer characterization!
Every post it’s awesome 👏🏻
So for smutty prompt #35 ( Bleur)
send me smutty prompts
Thank you so much! I was kinda worried cause I've never written smut for them before. I'm so glad you enjoyed though, and I hope you enjoy this one just as much! ❝i couldn't wait any longer, baby❞
Fleur had not thought that she would spend her wedding night being questioned by the Ministry. Perhaps it was too optimistic or naïve of her to believe that her wedding day would be untouched by the war, but she had thought, they'll let us have this. Death Eaters have to get married, too. They will surely let us have this. How very wrong she had been.
They were all finally back at the Burrow, her and Bill and his family - her family now. How strange it seemed to long to call these people family for so long only for it now to feel odd to do so. She still felt like a guest her, though she supposed that wasn't entirely her fault. But if they were family now, she would care for them just as she did for her own parents and her sister.
Determination in her step, she lifted the hem of her dress and marched into the kitchen, leaving Bill to talk to his father. When she entered the kitchen, she found the twins talking quietly among themselves and Bill's mother scrubbing a plate with vigor. Molly didn't even notice her enter, but the twins' eyes were glued on her.
Ignoring them, she stepped up next to her new mother-in-law and gently laid a hand on her arm. "What can I do for you?" she asked. "What needs to be done?"
Molly blinked a few times as if just recognizing Fleur.
"Oh, dear," she muttered, her eyes filling with tears. "I am so sorry. Your wedding-"
"Was just as it should have been," Fleur said fiercely. "I would not change a thing."
Molly rung her hands together. "I had only hoped that we'd make it through the night." She gave her a watery smile as she glanced down at Fleur's dress. "You really were the most beautiful bride. And this dress is just . . . so breathtaking."
"You should consider her lucky then," George said.
"Yeah, Bill would have just ripped it off her," Fred added.
Both of them were grinning like fiends.
"I would have ripped what?"
"Nothing!" the twins said in unison.
Bill was scowling at them from the doorway, and normally it would not have been so intimidating, but since he had been mauled by Greyback, Bill's scowls had gotten much more stern.
"Oh, Bill!" Molly said before she burst out in tears and threw herself at her eldest son, mummering apologies about his wedding.
"Good job, Bill," Fred said.
"Yeah, you made her cry," George added.
"Shut up," he hissed before guiding his mother out of the kitchen and into the living room.
Fleur turned her eyes on the twins. "I saw you two with my cousins."
"No idea what you're talking about," Fred said, picking at his nails.
"Not a clue," George said. "We were with Harry all night."
How convenient for them that Harry was now gone.
"Well, you might want to know that both have boyfriends," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. They, in fact, did not have boyfriends, but neither of the twins needed to know that. "Both from Bulgaria. You might have known that if you had spoken with them instead of sneaking into dark corners with them all night."
The twins' eyes had gone comically wide.
"Excuse us," Fred said, standing quickly. "We've business to attend to."
"Have fun having your bodice ripped," George said cheekily as they exited the room.
Fleur rolled her eyes though she couldn't help but find them amusing. They were the first members of Bill's family she had meant after they were dating, and she had a soft spot for them.
Bill returned shortly after they left. Without saying a word, he swept her up into his arms, dropping his forehead against her own.
"I'm so sorry, Fleur," he said. "I wanted this day to be perfect."
"Do not apologize," she said fiercely. "It is not your fault. It is not your family's fault. You did not do this."
"I love you," Bill murmured. "I love you so much. Je t'aime, je t'aime."
He always did that. Whenever he said he loved her in her language, he repeated himself, as if he could never say it enough. Like he loved saying it as much as he loved her. His calloused hands slid up to cup her face, and she turned her head to kiss one then the other.
"Je t'aime aussi," she said.
"Dad's taking care of mum," he said. "Do you want to go home? We can stay here if you want, but-"
"Oui," she said quickly. "I want to go our home."
Bill smiled and slipped his hand into his pocket. His other hand slid down to grasp her waist, pulling her snuggly against him, and then she was being twisted and tugged through a tight tunnel. They landed in the sand - the lawn really - of their new home.
Shell Cottage was where Bill proposed to her, and where he would take her when he wanted a moment away from his family and his mother's hawk-like eyes. Fleur always found it rather comical that they were already fucking in a house that they were supposed to live in when they were married.
"Do you want me to carry you over the threshold?" he asked, a bit of his old self returning with the glimmer in his eye.
Fleur just rolled her eyes and opened the front door herself and marched in. It was not as if she had never been here before. Bill followed her, dunking to get in the doorway. His hair was still tied back, though a few stands had managed to escape his low ponytail. They framed his face beautifully, the bright red of his hair offsetting the scars that ran across his face.
Most people would consider his beauty gone now that he had those scars, but Fleur did not. She thought he was more devastatingly beautiful now than he had been before.
Beautiful when he'd promised to love her in French and in English earlier that day. Beautiful when he'd danced with her and held her like she was the most precious thing to him. Beautiful when he'd raged at Death Eaters parading as Ministry officials for interrupting their wedding. He was beautiful no matter what he did.
"Enlève ton pantalon," she said.
"Pardonnez-moi?" he said, a smirk falling over his face as he crossed his arms. Most men would have fumbled for the chance to get to remove their pants for her. Not Bill Weasley. No, he enjoyed making her repeat herself far too much.
"Enlève. Ton. Pantalon," she repeated, pausing after each word.
Bill laughed then. "Je t'aime, je t'aime," he said amusement lacing his voice as he slid out of his coat. Fleur would tell anyone who would listen that Bill's voice was made for the French language. Sadly, few people wanted to hear her talk about that.
When his hands fell to his pants, he raised his eyes and watched her with a smirk. Fleur only rolled her eyes in response. Then he was ever so slowly undoing his buttons and his zipper. He was being purposely slow, Fleur knew, and she tapped her foot. When he finally, finally, managed to remove his pants, Fleur shoved him roughly by the shoulders. Normally, she would not have been able to move him, but she'd clearly taken him by surprise if his startled face was anything to go by. He landed on the couch.
"Fleur," he said exasperated.
Fleur did not respond to him. Instead she grabbed the hem of her dress and yanked it upwards, thanking Merlin she had decided against a ball gown and gone with a fitted gown instead. It was much easier to slide her underwear off without as much fabric to shift through.
"Fleur, what are you doing?" Bill asked as he leaned forward. His hand slid along her bare thigh to steady her, but Fleur didn't need it. She managed to kick the underwear away before she gathered up her dress and sat herself in Bill's lap. His hands immediately found her waist, gripping tightly, and forcing her hips back on his thighs.
Fleur huffed.
"Not like this," Bill muttered. "I wanted this to be . . ." He paused and looked away from her. "I wanted it to be different."
"I cannot wait any longer, mon amour," she whispered resting her forehead against his own. "I need you." And she did need him. She needed him to tell her that everything was going to be ok, that they were going to win this war, that they were both going make it out of this alive. But first she needed her husband to make love to her, and she needed to make love to him. "I need you, l'amour de ma vie. I need you."
"Oh, Fleur," he said, his breath ghosting against her lips. His hand found the edge of her dress and slid up her thigh. Fleur's breath caught in her throat as he reached her center and easily slid a finger inside her. Bill raised his eyebrows. She rolled her hips against his hand a few times before he pressed another finger into her. He thrust once, twice, then removed his fingers altogether.
Fleur whined.
Bill ignored her, pulled his hand out from under her dress, and sucked the fingers that had been inside her into his mouth.
Fleur keened.
"Je vais manger ta chatte ce soir," Bill said, his voice dropping an octave or two. Fleur had no doubt that she would end up with Bill's face between her legs at some point tonight, but right now, she wanted him inside her.
She rose up onto her knees, and both of Bill's hands made their way under her skirt this time. One found the hip bone where his name was tattooed while the other slotted his cock against her. With a breath of relief, Fleur slid down onto him.
They remained still for a moment, their foreheads pressed together and sharing the same air. This was what she needed, to feel him against her like this, like she hadn't the past month and a half. They'd been lucky if they got a moment to cuddle, with all the planning and Harry and the war.
"Ma raison d'être," he muttered against her neck as she pulled the elastic from his hair. My reason for being. It was a French term of endearment that he had picked up when they'd taken an impromptu trip to Paris last fall. He'd fallen in love with it, and Fleur had fallen more in love with him every time he'd said it.
Bill's fingers found the back of her dress, gently undoing the zipper until the straps were beginning to fall off her shoulders. Reverently, he kissed her shoulder as he slid one strap off then did the same to the other side. Fleur let her fingers tangle in his hair until he started to slip the gown off of her. Once the top of the dress was around her waist, his hand found her side and squeezed.
Her eyes flew up to his, and emotion clogged her throat as she was hit with the amount of love that was shining back at her. Bill had always been so free with his love, as if he had so much more to give if only someone asked for it. He had been kind to her and teased her and helped her adjust when she first came to England. He deserved the world, and she would have given it all to him if he would keep looking at her exactly as he was now.
She hadn't realized she started to cry until he began to wipe the tears from her cheeks.
"Je t'aime, je t'aime," he muttered urgently. "Ne pleure pas."
She did not mean to cry and upset him, but she could not help it, could not force the tears to stop coming.
"I want to make it out of this war with you," she whispered.
"You will," Bill said, his hand gliding down her back.
"It is not me I am worried about," she said. "It is you." Bill's features softened then. "I do not want to be a widow for longer than I am a wife."
"Oh, Fleur," he muttered. "That won't happen. I won't let it. I will always come home to you."
It was such a beautiful promise for all that it might be broken.
She moved her hips then, softly rocking against him. Bill gasped, one of his hands going to her hip to steady himself. Fleur's hand found his face, her thumb running across his cheek and over his scars. He pressed a kiss into the palm of her hand, hissing out a breath as she dropped back onto him.
"Bill," she whispered, her own hands falling to her breasts as his ran up and down her back.
"Mon amour, you are so beautiful," he said, eyes locked on where she was rolling her nipples in between her fingers. "So pretty."
Bill's compliments were like no other man's. He had seen her first for her intelligence, and then her looks. No one outside of her family and a few close friends had really bothered to look beneath the surface. Bill always did. So, when he complimented her looks, she knew he meant it out of love, and less like the superficial way that most men meant it.
His lips found the space between her neck and her shoulder, and he sucked harshly at it. Fleur gasped, knowing he intended to leave a mark. His hips pressed up into her, and she tangled her hands in his hair. As soon as her hands were gone, Bill moved his kisses lower and his hands found her breasts.
"Please, mon amour," she gasped, dropping down onto him quicker than she meant to.
"Holy fuck," he swore, his hands going to her hips. "How are you always so good?"
Fleur laughed. "Practice?"
"Ferme ta bouche," Bill gasped against her skin.
She giggled when he told her to shut up, mainly because the syllables had been so broken up that he hadn't even sounded menacing. He muttered her name then, and Fleur continued to rock against him, heat coiling in the pit of her stomach.
"Je t'aime," she whispered after a particularly wonderful thrust.
"I won't leave you," he said suddenly, grasping her face in between his palms and forcing her to look into his eyes. "I won't. I refuse to let them take me from you."
Fleur wanted to kiss him and cry all at once. Her beautiful, brave husband. In the end, she settled for kissing him as her hips stuttered in their rhythm, and she dove over the edge with him.
They panted, sharing the same air, as Fleur caressed his face while he ran his fingers up and down her bare back. Gently, his hands found the clips that had been holding her hair up and it cascaded down around them, offering a brief shelter from the war raging around them.
"Ma cœur," he said, tracing his finger over her heart.
"Bill, je t'aime," she said softly.
"Je t'aime, je t'aime," he muttered gathering her up in his arms and holding her close to his chest.
At least for a little while, they could forget what darkness lay outside their beautiful home.

What about writing a The Quarry "police statement" ending with the counselors just like Until Dawn based on your playthrough (who died, important actions, choices etc)
Gods, I had so much fun writing this ! Thank you for this ask ! I watched a lot of let’s plays before having my own run, so basically it was an everybody lives + all evidence found (and Dylan kept his hand !). It was better to have to write all the counselors say something, so it’s cool.
Anyways, here are my version of The Quarry’s ending, because it should have been like this.

NORTHKILL POLICE DEPARTMENT - MORNING OF AUGUST 23
Tumblr media
         [START OF THE TRANSCRIPTION]
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 1
[OFFICER] : Young man, we need your help on this. Don't you remember anything?
[N. FURCILLO] : I- I told you. This... animal it- it attacked me and Abi. In the woods. It bit me in the leg-
[OFFICER] : Where, exactly ? You don't have any scratch on you.
[N. FURCILLO] : I can assure you- it- it- it was bleeding so much! I just- I remember feeling weird after. I think I said mean stuff to Abi... I- pushed her? Wait, is she okay?! Where is-
[OFFICER] : Sir, answer our questions. What happened next?
[N. FURCILLO] : As I told you before, I. Don’t. Remember. A. Single. Thing.
Tumblr media
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 4
[J. CUSTOS] : Look man... I don’t understand shit to what happened, okay? Whatever you’re searching for, it’s the Hackett’s. They’re fucking crazy! Trapped me in some sicko cage- if it wasn’t for Ryan and that girl freeing me I’d still be down there-
[OFFICER] : So you’re stating that Mr. Erzahler and Miss Kearney were at the Hackett’s house around 1:30AM ?
[J. CUSTOS] : I- yeah I guess, but don’t you hear what I’m saying? I almost got shredded by that creepy ass animal, I’m telling you it’s not human- and it’s not all, those freaks covered me in what I think is blood!
[OFFICER] : Sir, can you describe the animal?
[J. CUSTOS] : Uh... animal isn’t the term man... it had some kind of- of human form? But like... long. Bloody. Just... I just want to forget it.
Tumblr media
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 5
[L. KEARNEY] : No, no FUCKING way. I am NOT dealing with bastards cops again!
[OFFICER] : Lady, I’m gonna need you to calm down. Don’t make me use force. The other counselors said that you weren’t there during the camp. explain me how you disappeared for two whole months.
[L. KEARNEY] : Are you deaf? We were kidnapped by that damn cop because we stumbled into the Hackett’s fucking cursed family issues-
[OFFICER] : Speaking of the Hackett’s. We found the bodies of Constance Hackett and Christopher Hackett shot dead. You have agreed that you were at their house with Mr. Erzahler, what do you have to say about that?
[L. KEARNEY] : Listen. I didn’t do shit. It’s the old hag’s own fault that she got shot. If you had taken one look at her, you’d see she deserved it. As for Chris, he was trying to fucking kill us! Ryan saved everyone in the room by shooting him-
[OFFICER] : So you’re saying Mr. Erzahler murdered Mr. Hackett?
[L. KEARNEY] : I- no- I mean, yes but- don’t twist it like that you!- I...
Tumblr media
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 7
[OFFICER] : So, you found a possible working car at the Hackett scrap yard. Why leave it to go back?
[K. KA] : I told you, we almost got mauled to death! Dylan knocked it out temporarily by dropping the car, we weren’t gonna take our chances with it. We went back to the lodge.
[OFFICER] : The lodge, right. We have found the deceased body of Caleb Hackett there, do you have anything to say about that?
[K. KA] : Wh- who? Wait, you mean Mr. H’s son? What the fuck was he doing th- Oh- oh...
[OFFICER] : He was shot, and you were the one with the shotgun in the morning. Miss, did you shoot Caleb Hackett?
[K. KA] : What?! No! What I shot was a fucking monster who was going to brutally kill Dylan and me! It wasn’t a guy, I’m telling you!
[OFFICER] : You and your coworkers keep talking about creatures and monsters. We have found alcohol bottles around the fire pit. Did you take any other kind of drug before the events of the night?
[K. KA] : Fucking hell, we only drank a beer! We were totally sober, it wasn’t some kind of hallucinations, you- [redacted].

NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 2
[E. MOUNTEBANK] : Instead of interrogating me, you should be investing. There is some serious shit going on at Hackett’s Quarry. I bet you don’t believe me. Go see in the treehouse for yourself.
[OFFICER] : We already did. All we found was Mr. Brinly there, not a single “creature”.
[E. MOUNTEBANK] : Brinly, as in the-counselor-who-didn’t-show-up Max Brinly? The girl, Laura’s boyfriend ? Wait, so that means... Mr. H...
[OFFICER] : Yes, him. What about Mr. Hackett?
[E. MOUNTEBANK] : I- nothing.
[OFFICER] : Miss, if you’re withholding informations-
[E. MOUNTEBANK] : I am not. Besides, I got proof. If you just give me my damn phone back, I got a picture of it-
[OFFICER] : Your phone will be looked through. Where were you at about 4AM?
[E. MOUNTEBANK] : I had other preoccupation than the damn time- ugh. I think it was when Abi and I were in the basement, or when we climbed into Mr. H’s office. The doors were locked, but you know that.
[OFFICER] : Right. Why were you hiding?
[E. MOUNTEBANK] : We were’t hiding- I mean, well- we were trying to stay alive. It was the only place the- the... things could not hurt us.
Tumblr media
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 8
[OFFICER] : We are being serious here, Mr. Lenivy. As of now, three dead bodies have been found-
[D. LENIVY] : Wait, three-?! Who are they- is it- is Ryan okay?
[OFFICER] : Mr. Erzahler is alive. It seems he was wounded but he will survive. The bodies all belong to the Hackett family.
[D. LENIVY] : Ah, great- I mean, no! Not great, definitely, uhm-
[OFFICER] : Sir, do you confirm being in the lodge around around 4AM with Miss Ka?
[D. LENIVY] : Uh, yeah. Not so much “being” as “hiding for my fucking life”.
[OFFICER] : Miss Ka has admitted to have shot Caleb Hackett. Is it true?
[D. LENIVY] : It’s true that she saved my goddamned life, yeah. Wait, rewind a bit- Caleb Hackett? It was him? Never mind, Kaitlyn is a fucking hero and I really don’t like the way you seem to... implicate otherwise- you’re not accusing her are you?
[OFFICER] : Look, we have dead bodies on our hands. They didn’t kill themselves. Now, about Kaylee Hackett, do you-
[D. LENIVY] : Nope. No, no, not telling you anything.
[OFFICER] : Sir, you have to-
[D. LENIVY] : I don’t have to nothing. I have the right to a lawyer, and I want one. You’re not getting anything else from me.
Tumblr media
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 3
[OFFICER] : Miss, please. I need you to tell me what happened.
[A. BLYG] : I- it’s just so messy. So confusing... I...
[OFFICER] : How about Mr. Furcillo. He said that you were in the woods before you got attacked. Is that right?
[A. BLYG] : It is, yeah... just because of that stupid game, God it’s my fault, if I hadn’t run away then-
[OFFICER] : Then what?
[A. BLYG] : He wouldn’t have gotten bit. That’s when it all started to go south. There was so much blood, the wound was so big... I tried to help, I really did, I swear-
[OFFICER] : What happened next, miss?
[A. BLYG] : He wasn’t the same. I spent two months with him, I just know that wasn’t Nick- he became so agressive, I had to! He would have killed me otherwise! It’s my fault he died-
[OFFICER] : Mr. Furcillo isn’t dead. We found him in the forest at dawn. Do you have any idea how he might have got there?
[A. BLYG] : He’s- he’s alive? I- woah- uh-... No sir, so I don’t have any idea. He just- left... after... yeah.
Tumblr media
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 6
[OFFICER] : Mr. Brinly, do you have any recollection of the night?
[M. BRINLY] : Where is Laura?
[OFFICER] : Sir, please answer-
[M. BRINLY] : No. Where is Laura? I’m not telling you anything before you tell me if she’s alright.
[OFFICER] : Laura Kearney is fine and is at the precinct. Now, she claims that you two were held hostage by Travis Hackett, is it true?
[M. BRINLY] : Yeah it is. That asshole kept us locked.
[OFFICER] : So, after this you escaped and went to Hackett’s Quarry. Why go there and not flee?
[M. BRINLY] : It’s.. complicated to explain. We had business to take care of.
[OFFICER] : What kind of business?
[M. BRINLY] : You wouldn’t understand. Heck, you wouldn’t even believe it.
[OFFICER] : Why don’t you try and give me your version. Your statement of the night.
[M. BRINLY] : ...I’m telling you. It’s messed up... so fucking messed up...
Tumblr media
NORTHKILL PRECINCT - ROOM 9
[OFFICER] : Look, sir. We need you to collaborate. We can’t figure it out if you won’t tell us.
[R. ERZAHLER] : (...)
[OFFICER] : You realize that your silence isn’t helping your case.
[R. ERZAHLER] : (...)
[OFFICER] : We have several witnesses placing you at the Hackett’s house at the time of death of Constance and Christopher Hackett.
[R. ERZAHLER] : (...)
[OFFICER] : You are currently the lead suspect for those murders, don’t you have anything to say about that, Mr. Erzahler ?
[R. ERZAHLER] : (...)
[OFFICER] : Okay, we are clearly getting nowhere with this.
