Eiji really likes the ferris wheel and if there's animals he's definitely going to see all of them

Ash doesn't like rides that are too slow but he also can't tolerate rides that are too spinny

the scrambler is like the perfect speed for Ash

Ash, Eiji, and Shorter all go on the scrambler together—Shorter is vibing and screaming, Ash is laughing, and Eiji is getting crushed (he's having fun though)

the three of them also plan on going on the ferris wheel together but Shorter dips at the last minute so Ash and Eiji can ride it alone. while they're on the ferris wheel Shorter goes on that one ride that spins so fast you stick to the wall

Shorter's favourite ride is the zipper. He usually would ask the guy to spin him before the ride starts, but since he convinced Ash to go on with him he decided less is better

Ash hated the zipper. it was almost painful, he kept getting slammed to the seat every time it turned around and he felt like he was going to fall out. he's never riding the zipper again.

Eiji is unspeakably competitive with bumper cars. like he can and will wreak havoc on his friends. Eiji drove with Shorter as a passenger and Max drove with Ash as a passenger (Ash thought it would be boring). once Ash saw how Eiji drives he stole the wheel and told Max to floor it.

* Ideal matchups for the strawberries: Max, Ibe, and Eiji (they hardly spin, they're just chatting), Ash by himself (if it's too slow it's boring but if it's too fast he'll get sick) and Shorter by himself (he goes absolutely crazy)

* The actual matchups for the strawberries: Max and Ibe try to avoid the strawberries. Ash either goes on with Eiji and Eiji holds it still so Ash can't spin it, or he goes on with Shorter who has no restraint on the strawberries and Ash yells at him the whole time that it's too fast and he's going to throw up. When the ride ends, Ash says that he feels fine but immediately upon saying that he throws up. He insists that he's fine after

If you could gender-bend one BF character, without it completely altering the story, who would choose, and why?

Oooh, good question. I’d say probably Yut-Lung. I headcanon him as some sort of non-binary anyway, and I feel like his gender being swapped genuinely wouldn’t affect the story.

Personally I do not support gender-bending Ash or Eiji, especially without gender-bending the other one. I just don’t think it’s cool to take a healthy same-sex relationship and turn it straight, if that makes sense?

I will say that I also love the idea of gender-swapped Shorter, and I’ve seen some great art of that. Basically none of the kids are cis. Ash is an AMAB enby and Eiji is definitely a trans man. Max is agender too. Fight me.

If I was gonna gender-swap one of the adults, I think I’d go with Ibe. I think it’d be really sweet because I already kind of see him as a motherly figure.

Banana Fish: Adoption HCs

Max adopts Ash as he should have done ages ago

Blanca suggests adopting Yut-Lung, who initially turns it down but after talking with Sing changes his mind and accepts

Blanca still stays Blanca to Yut-Lung, while Ash ironically calls Max “Dad” and it’s clear that It’s not entirely ironic to both of them

Blanca eventually extends his offer to Sing, which has Yut-Lung incredibly jealous at the possibility of having Sing as his brother

Sing waits a year until he finally does accept, however he does not move in with them but instead comes over as often as possible

Max meanwhile switches between working in New York and LA and Ash becomes a big brother to Micheal and Jessica a motherly figure to him (although none of them would never admit to it to Max’ great amusement) as he visits him and Jessica together with Max several times throughout the year, and it’s becomes clear that Jessica and Max are getting back together, despite perhaps not marrying again

I feel you anon, TimSteph and ACNH is literally what got me through quarantine.

So funny enough I have answered this before! But I'm gonna copy and paste if all because I can never find this post and I love it. I literally had to manually scroll back to like August 20 I think of 2020 to find this...

Gonna update it a bit since the game has expanded since I typed this but tbh I still stand by all of this.

TimSteph ACNH headcanons:

They def have their own islands purely because Steph definitely has a very specific concept for her island planned out and she needs that space to herself

Steph is actually the one using the hacked items. Timmy plays by the rules (though he does time travel)

Steph does time travel too but not as much

Steph was VERY upset about the hacked items ban making her delete all of her star trees. Tim was very supportive

Steph has restarted her island about 5 times

Tim doesn't want to restart his island if he can help it, but he seriously considered it when the 2.0 update came out

Tim is master of the turnip game. His bank account has been consistently maxed out since not long into playing. He doesn't know what to do now

Steph has jokingly called him her "sugar daddy" a couple times that he sent her bells when they first got started

Steph loves villager hunting but it's a very long and taxing process. Tim makes her amibos when she gives up on looking for her dreamies

Steph has custom codes everywhere including a custom QR code design planted in random spots that when scanned will Rick-Roll any visitors

She also has a custom Batgirl suit in game

Tim likes to send her gifts, and constantly checks his shops and other island shops specifically for her

Steph sends Tim the most ridiculous in game clothing she can find

Steph's island includes a red diner (aptly named for the food establishmen: Red Robin), a heart pond, a hybrid garden she's worked really hard on and she also has an ominous "murder mystery" theme throughout the whole island. It's like a small town with a dark past

Tim's looks like a city, and he's got as fully stocked of a museum as possible, an arcade, an black market district, a train station, and he has a hidden spot with a cemetery

Steph likes to leave flowers at Tim's cemetery

They both have Robin as a villager just for shits and giggles

They go on ACNH dates even though they're sitting on the couch together

Steph has sunk more in-game hours in than Tim

gol sing/eiji, shor/eiji. for gol sing/eiji i can see it as unrequited but i don't see eiji returning sing's feelings.

for shor/eiji i strongly feel that shorter as a person is more okay with doing fucked up things than eiji will ever be, and that if shorter survived longer that would've been a major point of contention btwn them + that they would not actually work in a relationship long-term (even platonically) bc of it. like, the thing eiji called ash out for when they argued (i.e. ruthlessness) is just shorter's daily routine. also shorter is lawful neutral (as in, he operates within systems of rules/believes that rules and systems are the best way to do things, and is more concerned with protecting himself + his loved ones than the nebulous concept of Doing Good) while eiji is chaotic good (if a rule is unjust he Will break it, and he will Not do fucked up things even if ordered to. classic "if the door to opportunity is locked i'll break the window" energy.)

So not to be that guy, but uh where are the banana fish furry au? Kinda expected it by now, and if I must I shall bring it into the world. ( let it be known I am not an animal expert, most of them will be cats.)

Ash is obviously an alley cat. (Lynx is a bit much, he wouldn't survive New York city heat. Stray alley cat it is. A short hair.)

Eiji is a bird. (He gets compared to so many feeble animals but birds are prey and predator, and Eiji leveled up. I dub thee a curly haired pigeon, the rats of the sky! Arthur calls him a Japanese cat, but Eiji is to wide eyed for that.) He is smaller then the typical male pigeon.

Shorter is also a cat. (but more scraggly then Ash, but also less feral then Ash. Like, he is a deli cat. A China town deli cat, who stays outside and gets fed by people. Also missing an ear, or he is a komodo dragon. No in-between.)

Sing is an eagle. (Have you ever seen an eagle eat a squirrel before? I have. I saw a teen eagle in Brooklyn out side my window on a tree fucking a squirrels shit up. Sing looks up to Eiji as Eiji is a graceful flyer and Sing is a stumbler)

Yut-Lung is a snake maybe. Idk. He is offen compared to a snake, but honestly he reminds me of a cat more then Ash does. So he can either be a snake or a lovely house cat who fucks things up. A bastard cat. With a bell that sounds like a snake. Like Azulas theme from Avatar.

Arthur is a rat. A scratatatat. A big ol rat. Thats it. He is a scurrying rat in the subways with his gang of rats. And mice.

Cain? He is a dog. A Cain-nine if you will. Hahahah. So there are so many good dogs to choose from. I choose a chow chow. Big fluffy puppy who does his own thing and will fuck your shit up. They are crazy dogs.

Bones is Chihuahua. A scraggly Chihuahua. Is feral. But cute. In a gross way.

Kong? He is a big fat cat! Squishy. A long hair.

Skipper is kitty cat. A short hair like Ash. Very cute when they walk together.

Max is a dogggg. And so is Jessica. And Michael. All dogs. Cute, deadly. Annoying. They fight alot and Michael sits in the back.

Ibe is aaaaaa, uh a dog. Like uh, weiner dog. Yeah. Idk. (Feel free to change this all up)

Dino is the snake but like a chonky snake. Actually, Dino gets to stay human i hate him, so he gets to be evil human who wants to turn all of the animals into taxidermy dolls or something else creepy.

Blanca could also be human. He is hired by Dino to find all of these animals, and falls in love with Yut-Lung and Ash who remind him of himself or whatever bullshit he be saying.

Foxx wants to turn into an animal. That's the plot of this show called Yellow Eel, where animals fight for their animal rights to not be stuffed by some creepy man. Ash is the cat he wants but will stuff others to torment him. His plan is to fuck up Eiji, and use him to get to Ash.

Why is a human obsessed with animals? And can understand them? Idk. It's all in good fun. The sad Beastars version of this will be like banana fish but the fun version will be animal high jinks, and stealing from Dino. Eiji teaches Sing to fly better. Uh, Eiji has trauma cause of his broken wing but Flys for Ash. They fall in love. Forbidden love, they come from different worlds but love each other all the same.

(A little inside note, if there was a trend where Ash's gang was all cats and the Chinese mafia was all reptials then Sing would be a bearded dragon, and his brother would be a cute lil legless lizard. They are so cute. And completely different from snakes, although confused with each other. I also considered Eiji to be a frog. Like a cute frog. Amphibian. Little tadpole Eiji!)

Day 12: Final Decision

Life Is Strange: Sacrifice Arcadia Bay

All of my end choices were no brainers to me, and the first game was the only one I went into knowing what the end choice was. I like to headcanon that since Max has a vision about the storm before Chloe dies the first time, it means the storm was actually inevitable. Even if it's debunked by canon, I like thinking saving your best friend/girlfriend really is the right choice.

Life is Strange 2: Cross the Border, Parting Ways

This ending was gorgeous. I was crying yet smiling the whole way throug it. I was originally pissed that my Daniel turned into a goody two shoes, I was so mad my ending wasn't both the boys in Puerto Lobos. But having a part of my ending be completely out of my control and determined by all of my decisions up to that point, was not what I expected from this game at all! And seeing how happy both my boys were made up for everything.

I'm trying to run through the game again and actually turn Daniel evil this time so I get the ending I wanted originally. But this is a game with no bad endings, and I'm happy with my first one.

Before the Storm: Tell Rachel the Truth, Meet Sera

The most anticlimactic one, though I understand why. Out of all of them, this was probably the choice I gave the least thought to. My mind was made up before Sera even started talking. Wouldn't you want to know your dad tried to have your mom killed?

I did get the secret ending where Rachel meets Sera. I was trying to fuck up canon by asking for the bracelet knowing that Frank has it in the original game. And then panicked and gave it to Sera to try and make her stay-

Shorter Wong: amab enby! (but like, different than Ash? think ... Shorter's fashion sense. that's his gender. but like, with a crop top probably too.)

Yut-Lung Lee: amab genderfluid! (hasn't really gotten it all figured out by the time of canon, is very confused at the intersection of gender and Trauma™ and if his gender is valid or just another form of escapism)

Akira Ibe: trans girl! (I mean, "my dad wanted a boy and gave me a boy's name but I'm really a girl"? are you kidding me? big trans girl energy)

Griffin Callenreese: amab enby! (he doesn't realize it in canon. in a Griff Lives AU, he probably wouldn't really figure it out until after he sees Ash living his best enby life)

Nadia Wong: trans woman! (she figures it out before Shorter is even born. that's part of why Shorter is already so knowledgeable and endlessly supportive when Sing comes out to him, even before Shorter knows that he's just as trans as the rest of them)
